Vividly has an incredible customer support team that’s available to assist at any time. The system is user-friendly and provides the tools we need to manage and track trade, download insights, upload data, and integrate with other internal systems. The overview module is slow, but it doesn’t interfere with our workflow. It’s more of a “nice to have,” but it would be great if Vividly could improve the overview snapshot by making it more functional and faster, and by adding the ability to customize the view based on our business needs. The Vividly team has been integral in ensuring our transition from our prior system to the new Vividly system. The integration team is nothing short of amazing. The weekly calls and updates, the communication real time of status changes, the alignment of their platform with our needs...all outstanding. The platform itself is extremely easy to use and navigate while also being very user friendly (training for entire Sales team was so much easier than my past experiences with other platforms). The analytics of the Vividly suite are a massive upgrade for my company and allow us to real time analyze and identify specific market actions we can take to improve profitability. I like that it's easy to plan your deductions and map them to your GL account with Vividly. Additionally, I can see various financial graphs around the deduction total spend year to date versus plan. It's also helpful to view other key points like total deductions by retailer or promo. These features are really helpful for planning out future years and understanding the ROI. I think the reconciliation file sent could be improved. We currently have to do a series of additional Excel formulas to get the promotion plan period into the deduction file. The reconciliation file could be a bit more accounting focused. It should be accrual-based, but right now it's cash basis, so we have to manually update to reconcile for the period we're closing. Every month, we have to manually update to record the proper period for which cleared and settled transactions need to be reconciled. Also, the promotion period needs to be manually added for us to be able to recognize everything where it needs to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface of Vividly is very easy to use, which makes onboarding smooth for our team and allows us to easily access the information we need. It also helps us better budget as a team, as we all manage a number of retailers and distributors, giving us the ability to see everything accurately throughout the year. The budgeting capabilities allow us to see exactly which promotions are working and which aren't, enabling us to understand our profitability as a team. Additionally, I look back and think the initial setup was perfect; Brianna did an exceptional job in onboarding the team and getting us up to date on how to use the platform. There are some aspects in which the Vividly team has to own that I think would be more beneficial if we could. For instance, just editing promotions, changing title names easily, if we make mistakes and write off a deduction that was actually meant to be disputed, I wish there was an easier way to find those things after an action has already been taken. I usually have to reach out to Brianna Franklin who then has to assist me. I understand that there is a need for not giving clients access to the back end, to mitigate errors, but having access could remove a layer of responsibility from the Vividly team. Vividly is an intuitive TPM that makes sales planning and deduction management much more manageable for any CPG company. Some of Vividly’s core strengths include its customer service, its consistent focus on evolving and improving the platform, and its willingness to listen to customers’ thoughts and opinions when making changes. I use Vividly for trade promotion management, and I love that I will no longer have to track promotions manually because it's a huge time saver.
