Within a couple of hours we had our first dashboard running with in the instance. No exporting data to Excel, no external integrations, its all within our platform. **What do you dislike about VividCharts for ServiceNow?** No major dislikes. The product is solid and is a valuable addition to our ServiceNow instance. **Recommendations to others considering VividCharts for ServiceNow:** Go with VividCharts if your company is looking for a ServiceNow reporting tool. They are consistently improving the application, the easy of use and flexibility is fantastic. The company is easy to work with and very responsive. **What problems is VividCharts for ServiceNow solving and how is that benefiting you?** For my particular instance, I've been working with my company's HR department to visualize the work that is flowing through the department. Previously, the department had no idea the amount of work they were processing. The VividCharts reports were used to build a case for additional HR headcount and shifting resources. ### 3. We have been able to train users very easily on how to create charts and dashboards. **What problems is VividCharts for ServiceNow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not only are we able to show our data in a simple clear fashion now, this has opened the eyes of management and has them curious as to what other key metrics we can report on. Without it, and the excellent service provided by the VividCharts team, we may still be exporting ServiceNow data to spreadsheets **What do you dislike about VividCharts for ServiceNow?** Nothing - any roadblocks are quickly overcome and the VividCharts team are there to support you through your reporting journey. **What problems is VividCharts for ServiceNow solving and how is that benefiting you?** We automated a manual spreadsheet process for hardware lifecycle by leveraging CMDB with the final output being displayed in VividCharts. This provided a time savings of 2+weeks per quarter. The report is now produced with the click of a button and is always live/up to date data. ### 7. Reporting in ServiceNow can be a bit of pain, and the charts provided out-of-the-box look very "Microsoft Office"-y. They also are not able to be included in the Service Portal. The reason I recommend VividCharts to a lot of customers is the ease-of-use to create charts, and the beautiful results. They have many different charting types available and can customize the color schemes to something that makes sense to your business. The Slate interface makes it easy to create dashboards and printable PDFs for the people who need the data. **What do you dislike about VividCharts for ServiceNow?** Load times can be a little long, but that is also going to be heavily affected by the amount of data you are reporting on. **What problems is VividCharts for ServiceNow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Most customers I know have someone in Exec who needs up-to-date and readable information about the last quarter, month, week, etc. VividCharts makes it easy to present and share this data. ### 8. There is a simple to use GUI for setting up different types of reports. Let me assure you, these reports look BEAUTIFUL! Its so easy to use and the information is displayed in such a way that you can present a lot of data and digest that information easily. **What do you dislike about VividCharts for ServiceNow?** There isn't much I dislike about VividCharts. The ability to translate some of the ServiceNow's Platform UI reporting tools to the service portal brings a whole new experience for the end user that can be critical. Finally, the support we currently got from Mitch and the rest of the Vividchart team has been fantastic.
