**What do you like best about Vitally?**

I really like the customizations of Vitally. It is very flexible, allowing me to bring in metrics and configure it to have the information I need. It is quite adaptable in terms of consolidating everything in one place, which makes managing and controlling daily demands much easier. Vitally is also incredibly intuitive; even more complex processes are easy to carry out. I like the help tools and the chat, which make the initial setup and continuous use very smooth. Additionally, Vitally provides me with insights that help better control retention and our base, allowing for a more predictive and proactive approach in customer relations.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

Honestly, it's not so much a matter of it not working well, I think it might be a technical limitation, and I believe they should improve this in the future. But, it would be in the sense that we have a feature called Success Metrics, and this specific feature is very useful when you want to perform calculations between data. For example, I want to take the number of logins and divide it by the number of users to get information on engagement, access, something like that. It has this, but I think there are some technical limitations with this feature, and the feature itself has a quantity limitation, but it's a matter of the plan we have. However, I think there shouldn't be this limitation to have more freedom to create these concatenated metrics, so to speak, to be able to perform some calculations within Vitally itself, according to information, according to events that are sent by systems. This already exists, but I think there are some technical and plan limitations that I think Vitally could work on more.

**Recommendations to others considering Vitally:**

If you are a CSM or a Head of CS, you need Vitally. It's just amazing how it works every day.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Vitally for customer relationship management, offering insights and customizations. It provides effective metrics and helps to work proactively, improving retention control and understanding of the customer base.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

As a CSM having the TASKS dashboard allows me to have a landing spot every morning to shape the day VS diving into emails w/ no direction. Other dashboards, reporting and notes give our team insight during transitioning accounts, company check ins and the health of our partner facilities. The Vitally platform also continues to adapt to needs of CSMs and works directly w/ our team to get our feedback and use cases.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

They consistently are improving the platform, so very few issues stay long enough to be dislikes.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned above, the TASKS report really drives my daily actions as a CSM working w/ over 70 facilities. The one stop nature of Vitally is also great with its centralizing of notes, partner details and health scores.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

I like that Vitally keeps everything organized. I also like that there's an AI component that helps me track insights I might not take notice on my own and points me to the right direction to move forward with my customers, based on their needs. The integration with my emails is great because it automatically pulls in conversations. I love the Vitally widget customization as well, which allows me to only look at important data which is valuable to me. I also appreciate the option to store both internal and external projects within Vitally, allowing me to work from a single platform. This prevents me from wasting time on manual work like copying and pasting interactions, and helps me store and manage project documents efficiently, with clear roles and responsibilities. The AI insights help me create a plan of action to follow with my customers, making Vitally crucial to my role as a CSM. The initial setup was relatively straight forward and had easy-to-follow steps.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

Vitally is not great at pulling historic monthly recurring revenue data. It only pulls from our subscription platform, so it's hard to track customer growth in terms of money. Although it gives useful insights into customer health as a whole, it could use some improvement regarding financial history.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Vitally to keep everything customer-related in one place, saving time and manual work. I leverage its integrated AI assistant to make sure no critical insights fall through the cracks when it comes to my customers. However, it's challenging to track customer growth in terms of money due to inadequate historic monthly recurring revenue data pulling.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

I really like the possibilities to create any dashboards according to my needs, and especially the AI Copilot has been saving Customer Success so much time. The main highlight for me would be the AI Copilot as it is my main favorite feature. It helps with my work by managing tasks after calls, logging notes, post checks, follow-up emails, and reminders, ultimately saving me a significant amount of time.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

I think the bulk options should update subscriptions because right now, if we have 30 subscriptions, we need to update them one by one. So it would be great to have this possibility to do this in bulk. I also think that some of the emails visibility in Vitally, isn't working very well. The email threads can be really hard to follow, making it difficult to understand where a conversation starts and ends.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vitally helps me manage tasks after calls, log notes, pulse check posts, and follow-up on emails, renewal confirmations, and churn requests efficiently. The AI Copilot saves me a lot of time, enhancing task management and productivity.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

I like that Vitally basically automates my job in a lot of ways. I don't have to log into every customer's instance to see their progress. I can view it with just one click, which I love and appreciate. Also, I can formulate dashboards and see exactly where my customers are in their journey. This helps me come up with solutions that benefit them the most at each stage. The ability to send bulk emails and messages, including WhatsApp, through Vitally's integrations is amazing because it saves time. Instead of following up on customers one by one, I can bulk select them and send messages. I do appreciate all of these features, especially since the user interface is very cool and allows for customization to see important things for my business.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

Well, I wish we could integrate it with a lot of other systems. We do integrate with some systems, and it's great, but I wish it could be the hub where we send out emails, do all of our messages, and we could even chat through Vitally. So, basically, you don't need to open any other apps and you're just on Vitally for most of your day. And that's all you need. But you guys are very close to doing that.

I can track customer actions with Vitally, knowing their journey and failed actions to address. It helps identify risks, aids in follow-ups, and gives improvement ideas.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

I really like how easy and complete Vitally is. It covers everything I need for customer success processes and managing my accounts. Another thing I appreciate is how quickly Vitally has been shipping product updates, especially around AI. The AI functionalities are very good, allowing my team to provide more comprehensive updates with less admin work by leveraging the information already in Vitally. I also like the logic for full seats and observer seats, which is valuable for ensuring people outside the customer success organization can access insights and information without using other systems. This setup allows us to leverage Vitally effectively.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

I think sometimes we find that some specific personalizations are not detailed all the way to the information that we have. So for example, when I create custom objects, I cannot leverage all the traits and integrations that I have and all the fields that flow from Salesforce, meeting recordings, and other fields. It seems like one important gap is that, in some areas of Vitally, you cannot leverage the information in the fields that you have elsewhere. In those instances, you need to create your own fields, which creates some sort of restrictions when we are trying to build new things with Vitally in a standardised way.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Vitally for monitoring account health and relationships, managing risks, providing comprehensive updates with less admin work, and sharing insights across my company. It helps prevent churn and grow accounts.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

I really like that there's the ability to create documents and project checklists that you can share with customers. I like being able to use our templated documents for different initiatives across different customers. If there's a checklist of tasks to be done, we can also have templated project tasks included in those documents. It's great that we can both be mutually accountable because we can both see the list.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

It seems like a very vast tool, and I feel like I only use it for probably 1% of what it's capable of. So I wish I understood it better. And that is partially down to, of course, my learning and development, but, perhaps if it was more intuitive. And sometimes I also find navigating from page to page a little bit awkward, and I wish they had better ways to go back a step rather than having to retype in the company or customer name and then go back into it that way. It's a bit awkward to navigate compared to other softwares and sites.

I use Vitally to get insights about customer health scores and specific user segments. It integrates information from different tools like HubSpot into one place, helping us track strategic plans and ensure customer accounts are well managed.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

I love the ability to create any custom view or dashboard that I could need. I have different views set up for so many different use cases, and I love that the data is shared across all of the views. I enjoy sorting my tasks either by status, category, or customer to prioritize my day as needed. Creating custom dashboards helps me track data that's meaningful to me, like accounts grouped by account manager, location, or health scores over time. Managing all my customer records, tasks, resources, and more in one place helps me stay organized. I also find it extremely easy to explore and figure out as an end user.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

I would like the ability to create purely empty/custom columns in my views so that I can track account information that is useful to me but might not be needed for the rest of my team. I'd also love the ability to pop out the Notes window so that I could take call notes live in Vitally on a small screen.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vitally keeps all my customer data in one place, avoids app switching, and helps me stay on top of tasks. I also love creating custom views to track meaningful data specifically.

In just one year, Vitally has fundamentally transformed our Partner Success organization, moving us from disparate, manual processes to a unified, data-driven platform. It has truly become the central nervous system for all our customer-facing activities.

The new AI-powered features are phenomenal. The Meeting Recorder automatically joins, transcribes, and summarizes our Zoom calls, and the AI Copilot helps us instantly uncover risks and key insights from across the entire customer account. The AI meeting summaries alone have been a massive time-saver and have significantly improved our post-meeting follow-up.

Standardizing our most critical workflows, like Risk Management and Terminations, within Vitally has brought much-needed consistency and efficiency to the team.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

There is very little to dislike. The platform has been foundational to our success, and the main "dislike" is really just a desire for more. As we've matured our processes, we're hungry to integrate even more granular data from our other platforms to make our health scores and alerts even more powerful. We're excited to work with the Vitally team to continue building on the strong data foundation we've established.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vitally has solved our biggest challenge: operating in silos with scattered data. Before Vitally, we were reactive. Now, we have a centralized hub that allows us to be truly proactive. The platform has directly benefited us by:

Increasing Efficiency: The standardized workflows and AI meeting notes have dramatically reduced administrative overhead, freeing up our Partner Success Managers (PSMs) to focus on strategic, high-value activities.

Driving Revenue Opportunities: By centralizing contact information and engagement history, Vitally has helped us identify new contacts within institutions, directly leading to expansion conversations and new revenue.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

Vitally is highly customizable, which makes it an essential part of how we manage Customer Success at Streamline. I use it daily to build and maintain playbooks, automate QBR workflows, and create dashboards that track renewal timelines, CSAT results, and product adoption across our accounts. It has helped align our CS processes with other departments like Product and Marketing by giving us visibility into account health and activities in one place.
We’ve also been able to tailor it to our own team structure, making it flexible enough for both technical and operational work.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

Support response times could be faster. It sometimes takes longer than expected to get answers or a resolution on issues we escalate.
It would also be helpful to have clearer timelines or status updates on submitted requests.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Streamline, we use Vitally to centralize all of our account activity and communication. Before, our team was working across spreadsheets, Slack threads, and separate notes. Now, we have a shared workspace where we can leave notes, log meetings, track customer feedback, and view health scores and QBR history all in one place. This has improved collaboration across the CS team and made it easier to stay proactive with renewals and engagement.

I love Vitally's simple interface because it makes using the application easy. I really like the templates since they make repetitive work a lot less straining on my day-to-day tasks. The Playbooks are really easy to use and they help create consistency in managing regular tasks for customers. I also appreciate that Vitally is constantly trying to release new features to better help their customers.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

I think the way that you access templates could be a little bit more intuitive. Some of the setup of certain things could be easier. I think the process of adding a user to an account isn't very intuitive. And maybe some of the key, actionable things like sending communications, checking meetings with individual customers could be a little bit more simplified.

I use Vitally to track customer health, understand their needs, and manage them at scale. It aggregates data for better insights and handles multiple touch points in one place.

Vitally has many integration features which helps us optimize processes and guaranteeing that we are delivering value to our clients. That really improves our performance by allowing us to monitor multiple KPIs.

I think there is still some user interface that I think it could be improved when navigating between pages.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

I use Vitally to track my client accounts and keep them well organized. It really helps me see which accounts are in poor health or good health and identify which ones to follow up on. I find it very user-friendly, and it works well for my KPIs. I can tell right away which accounts are in danger of churning so I can immediately reach out to them. The initial setup was great and easy, thanks to the school tutorial provided, making it straightforward to get started.

Maybe the health scores could be better explained, sometimes I don't know why an account goes to red figures.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Vitally to track client accounts, seeing their health status so I know which to follow up on. It helps identify accounts in danger of churning, letting me address issues quickly. It's user-friendly and effective for my KPIs.

I really appreciate all the incredible insights I can get from this product, and how it saves information over time so I can refer back to it later.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

The interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first because there’s so much information on screen. I also wouldn’t say it’s especially intuitive to navigate.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We definitely use data tracking at the company I work for. It helps me access engagement and companies' health data in a super easy, effective way. It’s also my daily portfolio: everything I need to identify next steps or spot risk indicators is right there and easy to access.

I love the flexibility and ability to segment of our Customer Health Score. We are able to get granular and give a high level view of our customer health.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

I wouldn't say there is a downside, we have a deep level of understanding of our customer accounts from several different perspectives now that we use the platform (Revenue, Health, Activity, Meeting tracking).

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small team and do not have time to manually be looking through accounts to identify risk or growth opps. Our Risk indicators and Opportunity indicators notify me proactively of the accounts I need to pay attention to on both the retention end and growth side.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

How easy it is to set up, how quickly you can plug and play a multitude of integrations. Getting Vitally off the ground is fast, which matters in a start up environment or when moving tools in a larger organization. Their Customer Success team is also next level, as it should be for a tool like this. They're training and support makes it easy to learn how to best use Vitally in your own environment. It's so simple! Vitally has become our every day tool, and source of truth for almost everything Customer Success, and the only thing we aren't using it for is our fault not the tools fault. WE LOVE VITALLY!

Currently, there isn't anything Vitally isn't doing that we need.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vitally is solving the problem of helping us get more work done with less people. As an early stage startup, our tech stack has to support a scrappy team. **What do you like best about Vitally?**

I use Vitally to track customer onboarding and revenue. It allows me to track all of our revenue sources in one place and monitor customer usage, onboarding, and customer health. Once it's set up, it provides a reliable source for measuring all of the CS KPIs that are vital to understanding the health of customers, onboarding, retention, and churn. The reporting is robust and customizable, which helps with accuracy. We can accurately assess success, risk factors, churn, and the health of customers and CSMs.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

A lot of secondary features are half baked. The cost for some of their enhancements is far above the industry standards, and because there are so many moving parts and poor insights into daily values, it can be tough to troubleshoot when something isn't working properly. The docs feature is unusable, jumping all over the page when you're trying to add any elements. Also, the same thing happens in notes, email templates, etc. The AI features, while nice, are very high priced and the cost does not allow for ROI. Not easy at all. Our onboarding specialist seemed spread pretty thin. They gave poor advice, were slow to response, and caused us development time on the wrong path.

Vitally allows us to track all revenue sources, customer usage, onboarding, and health in one place. It's reliable for CS KPIs, customizable reporting enhances accuracy, and helps assess success and risks.

**What do you like best about Vitally?**

I like that Vitally is extremely flexible in its configuration, always providing a way to get the data in and deliver insights about our customers. The platform offers tons of integrations, which make the data useful for day-to-day CSM tasks or management reporting once it's in. The AI features are new but already pretty good, and they save a ton of time by summarizing the entire customer account activity and health, especially when onboarding new teammates or prepping for customer-specific calls. Their support team also does a great job in making things easier.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

For non-technical users, it can be a bit overwhelming. Getting the initial setup deployed is a lot of work and requires access to many systems with a lot of technical know-how. It's still a challenge to get all data from several systems integrated into Vitally.

I like the Playbooks in Vitally. They let us set up custom workflows that help tailor our approach based on client activity. This feature is really valuable for different departments and account types, allowing us to create custom if-then statements that integrate well with our other software and tech stacks. It's great because it makes our daily work more efficient. I also enjoy that the setup felt pretty easy, only taking a couple of days to understand the layout and dashboards.

I am using Vitally as a CRM and its analytics help me with my day-to-day tasks. I appreciate the new AI feature which gives me a summary of the whole account. I also like the reminders on the renewals and reaching out to my customers. The templates I can save for NPS and other scores are great because they help me assess better if the customer is happy or not. Additionally, I find the recording of cadences and transcripts to be good. The integration with my Google Calendar is also beneficial, and I found the initial setup to be very easy and convenient.

Vitally has complex playbooks (automation rules) for internal alerts and external communications on various triggers including product usage and a vast range of data from all connected systems (CRM, BigQuery, Amplitude etc.). This allows automating a big part of user engagement and don't miss important risk signals.
I also like shareable online documents as a way to create onboarding/learning hubs for customers with all resources in one beautiful place.
It also brings together data from all sources on versatile custom dashboards to have a 360 degree view of your customers portfolio and its health.

Some minor limitations of integration with Amplitude - there is still no way to build playbooks on very specific parameters of events, just big events.

Vitally is a comprehensive tool for managing customers. I appreciate that it allows me to view a wealth of information on a single platform, thanks to its integrations with Redshift, Jira, and Salesforce. This makes it possible to create both strategic and operational dashboards for complete customer management. The ability to set up compound health indexes by different segments and manage projects alongside customer accounts has made our operational work much smoother.

The implementation process was straightforward, with helpful support and excellent consulting services. Additional resources like the chat bot and Vitally Academy have also been valuable. Vitally’s CSM team has been outstanding, guiding us through the process and helping us reach our goals.

I use Vitally every day and continue to discover useful features that we have yet to implement.

I believe there is potential to enhance the custom surveys by adding more features. For instance, it would be helpful to have the ability to combine the data from multiple questions into a single one for score calculation and analysis directly within Vitally. At the moment, we have to rely on Excel for this purpose. Additionally, offering more language options would be beneficial, as it would eliminate the need to create several custom surveys with identical content in different languages.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The speed of email delivery was a challenge for us. We use Vitally to notify our customers whenever we have support updates or need to announce problems. This is crucial for our operations, as we must send notifications to our customers every 15 minutes. Initially, we were unaware of the restrictions on bulk email sending, but after integrating Sendgrid with Vitally, this issue was resolved. I believe Vitally now offers its own direct email sending system, and we may consider exploring this feature in the future if it proves to be stable.

The AI features for summarizing information within accounts are quite good, especially for providing leadership with an overview. In the future, I would like to see an option to generate summaries for all accounts and save this information as traits, making it easier for leadership to access and review these summaries.

When I send emails in languages other than English, the alignment and formatting issues make the email appear unprofessional, as if it wasn't sent through Gmail. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have more explanations and lessons for users, as understanding the full capabilities of Vitally requires a background. I'm also not able to change contact numbers easily, which can be frustrating when managing client information.

They seem to be adding more an more integrations which is great, I just wish they are more Microsoft focussed rather than Google.

The new updates to Vitally including their AI assist and copilot are amazing timesavers and really help you get that account view in a hurry if you're a big note taker and have a lot of calls like me! (Which I'm sure isn't rare!) - the Ai summary gives you an account overview based on your notes and sentiment etc over a chosen time frame, and you can ask it certain questions for follow up tasks, specifics around sentiment and anything else it might be able to gather from your input/insights.

As part of the new layout, they've added pinned properties so you can focus your main areas on the account screen for a quick check snapshot which is really handy. 

Additionally allowing you to edit historical ARR/MRR which honestly doesn't sound big but if you've had to add this in from poor data previously, trust me, it's massive. Especially if you're starting mid-financial year, for example.

The new UI is good, but it takes a little getting used to and I wish a few of the "pinned" fields where just editable on the fly but you still have to go into the all fields section to update them. Ever so slightly misleading if you're not used to it but otherwise the new UI and layout is great.

I love the fact Vitally are constantly integrating with new providers and the list is growing, however the features such as meetings/calendars, the upcoming notes recorder, all seem to be tailored more to "google" or "Gmail" emails and doesn't really provide a suitable alternative to Microsoft / Teams users. I can see Slack is now there, hoping for Teams too!

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all of our data consistent, all in one place and having a 360 view of our clients regardless of the communication medium and platform they use - it's all in one place. It also allows us to overhaul our onboarding process and make this a lot smoother as it's all in one place, rather than having to refer to separate notes, documents or applications depending on the stage of onboarding.
Additionally, any/all emails, tickets, messages and meetings are all in one so we don't miss a thing.

It also allows us to add the sales and marketing teams to see and gleam the data from this where needed as it's useful information even if they don't have/need a license directly. This helps track client advocacy, health, retention and revenue all in one place.

I love the customizability. Anything you want to see, as long as you can get it connected, you can look at for your customers.

**What do you dislike about Vitally?**

The customization is the blessing and the curse. You're setting everything up for yourself - out-of-the-box functionality is pretty limited, and if your system doesn't connect directly with Vitally? That's a lot of work-arounds. Support is pretty hands off, as well - the folks are nice, but they're not there to build anything for you. Teach a person to fish and all that.

**What problems is Vitally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a large book of business as a CSM means that it can be difficult to see all of your account in one place. And with a small crew of CSM, having as much automation as possible is key. Vitally provides the ability to do all that and plenty more.
