It's user friendly for anyone that's new to the world of print and design. I definitely recommend having a designer take a look at things before you finalize and purchase. Vistaprint's support is also pretty handy, they have chats and you can call which are great options when you need questions answered. I like the proofing system as well because typos and mishaps happens, it's up to us, the user, to finalize and approve. Vistaprint's business card deal is also pretty awesome. It's great for small businesses who are just starting or just need material that won't cost a lot. **What do you dislike about Vistaprint?** I think overtime I realized the quality of which I like our marketing material to be printed. Vistaprint business cards, while a great deal, are not the best quality prints. I have had much more luck with local printers & I made it a point at my company to use local printers to support local. However I don't knock Vistaprint, its still a great tool for small businesses. **Recommendations to others considering Vistaprint:** I recommend searching local if you have the budget to work with someone local. Vistaprint is a great back up tool when you need to get something done. Also consider the shipping times, while Vistaprint is pretty speedy, everything takes time to ship - be mindful of that if you're ordering, just like any product online. Vistaprint does more than just stationery printing, I love that Vistaprint also provides business/swag items. One of our favorite items is the coasters! It's great pricing to get some swag made but not the bulk requirement that some places require! **What problems is Vistaprint solving and how is that benefiting you?** Getting marketing and print material at a affordable price and reasonable timing. I see Vistaprint as a standard tool that every small business should know about because of all the printing that may be needed. ### 2. They are always helpful. **What do you dislike about Vistaprint?** One thing I don't like is there "pro" option. I signed up for their pro account to be more valuable to our company and ease of having a portal for my team to purchased approved merch. The initial set up was awesome, and red carpet was rolled out. HOWEVER, the pro team is NOT as accommodating as the consumer facing. For instance, if I need something made in the pro side, it is VERY inflated on the price. On the consumer side, they not only usually do it for free, they are super nice and turn it around in under 10 minutes. It is bananas why when I pay extra to be on the company plan it is so much more disappointing when I need help with minor things. They need to fix this. I don't usually write reviews, but I am hoping this will get noticed by their company and they make the necessary changes to their policies. **Recommendations to others considering Vistaprint:** Have your design in mind before you ask them for help. They can usually get you over the hump for free, however, if you need to really push the limits, they have been known to knock it out of the park with designs for a fee. **What problems is Vistaprint solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can compete with larger companies by having an online portal for the team to purchase their merch. ### 3. I particularly really like their thicker cards they look and feel high quality which all comes at an adorable rate. They have really good customer service and any issue that I might've had (which has been rare), they have been quick to assist and fix. The printed colors have always been vibrant and the addition to gloss on their folders is great and appealing. They also provide a lot of good promos throughout the year. **What do you dislike about Vistaprint?** I can't say that I have encountered, at the moment, a situation that has made me dislike working with vistaprint. **What problems is Vistaprint solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quick and affordable printing options for various products. Our banner was printed and shipped to us in a matter of days. They give you the option for expert review as well, just to make sure it looks like perfection. **What do you dislike about Vistaprint?** We did have a printing error that caused it to look pixilated. We had to do a reprint. But, they got it to us quickly and didn't charge for a replacement. **Recommendations to others considering Vistaprint:** Look at their templates, and consider what you can do yourself. Both are great options. It gives you a wide variety of things you can create for your company, all on your own. When looking at the pricing, consider what it costs to do the designs on your own. We could save a ton by doing that. We also liked the ability to ship to various locations. When we attend tradeshows and conferences, it's much easier to ship flyers from Vistaprint, than to load up and take it all with us. **What problems is Vistaprint solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes designing and printing so much easier. We're able to do our designs in house instead of having to pay a 3rd party. We're also able to reprint and ship our documents on-site when we have conferences. We use them frequently to product things like postcards and simple brochures for marketing our business. We have also used them for business cards in the past. **What do you dislike about Vistaprint?** If you're looking for a luxe experience with printing, Vistaprint isn't the place to find it. While they do a great job at what they do, there is definitely a difference between Vistaprint products and those from a high-end printer. They also have a division of promotional products, but I can't really speak to that. We have mostly used their printing services for things like postcards and mailers. Also, the shipping is always faster than what they estimate online. **What do you dislike about Vistaprint?** I have received a few items that were not the best quality. The site is supposed to warn you if your images do not meet the resolution requirements for the print job, but we got a large banner that was very pixelated. The customer services was really good, however, and refunded us for the banner that was not up to our standards. **Recommendations to others considering Vistaprint:** Make sure you are using high resolution images when printing and if you are worried about the quality, talk to a customer service rep. They will be able to give you a better idea whether or not your image will come out nicely. Also, be sure to check for coupons every time you make an order, there will be one available. It is also helpful that they have premade designs you can choose from. The premade designs and a wide variety of printing options can make it easy for small businesses to have the same branding over many products with minimal ease. I would use Vistaprint if I am having to print multiple things for my business for an event. **What do you dislike about Vistaprint?** I hate the interface of their website. I find it to be overwhelming and not easy to use. Their system can be a bit glitchy at times as well. Adding in your own created files can be a bit of a challenge as well unless you have used their site multiple times. It can also be hard to review if the image placed on their products is blurry or not. Vistaprint does a lot but they don't do any one thing with particular excellence. The thickness of the paper, the quality of the screen printing, sometimes the edges aren't straight, sometimes theres a white bleed rim. It's just obviously cheap. I've used them a lot over the years (they have been around since the beginning) and have never been dissatisfied with the print quality for the items I ordered. It's nice because you can get your collateral all in one place, and then branded gifts, giveaways, etc. too **What do you dislike about Vistaprint?** I really don't have a dislike. I used higher end printers when the job requires so if you want to do fancy things (like putting coatings on part of a page, for example), you may need a different printing company. But Vistaprint is great for what they do. **Recommendations to others considering Vistaprint:** Vistaprint has both editable templates and blank items you can upload your own designs. It's not complicated, and I've never gotten anything with inferior quality. They ship fast and when I'm looking for affordable and quick, Vistaprint is a great choice. I also use Vistaprint for trade show "swag" and have had really popular branded giveaways without spending a ton of money. I've also used it for corporate gifting, branded gear, and trade show accessories. The only reason to use smaller more specialized printers for custom options like coatings or extra colors. And also when you need a custom size or fold. but no issues ever with delivery or quality in MANY years of being a customer. **What problems is Vistaprint solving and how is that benefiting you?** Print collateral and branded items quickly and affordably. I think that this feature allowed me to use vistaprint for multiple purposes such as long term business cards That we’re designed ahead of time and short term flyers that were designed in platform. I also like that all designs can be saved for future use across products. **What do you dislike about Vistaprint?** Vistaprint has visual guidelines on the design of where an image will get cut off but this guideline isn’t always 100% accurate, I ordered stickers that were designed using a logo within the cut off guidelines but the logo was still cut off on the sticker it’s self. So this has been frustrating. **Recommendations to others considering Vistaprint:** Consider upgrading your paper type when ordering business cards, vistaprint has great quality and we have gotten the most compliments on our business card quality. **What problems is Vistaprint solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vistaprint has allowed us to create very quick assets such as flyers and posters for and event which were rush shipped and arrived in plenty of time but also looked professional and not messy. Integrations It would be great if Canva could be integrated with Vistaprint so that designs from Canva would be transferable so I could create them in Canva and print them with Vistaprint. But as long as Canva is offering printing I will be using them. 2. Customization One of the reasons why I wish Canva would be transferable to Vistaprint is that VP offers very little customization in comparison. Their editing tool is lacking compared to Canva or other design tools. 3.
