It helps that the interface is very similar to Notion **What do you dislike about Visible?** I could use more widgets, I think. I'd love to have a mermaid block, maybe more options for images? **What problems is Visible solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a really easy way to manage investor updates, and while I can also do that in other tools, the drafting, sending and monitoring features are really slick. I integrate it directly with Xero, so that looks great and is really convenient. I'm also using it for my data room, and that's a nice, solid feature. ### 2. This just scratches the surface of how Visible can be used. I'm excited to explore more of the product. If the product is not good enough, Mike and the rest of the team could not be more supportive and open to feedback. They are great people to have in your corner to take your financial reporting to the next level. **What do you dislike about Visible?** That more people don't use it. The more people use it, the more helpful the product is! **What problems is Visible solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are help our customers understand their core financial metrics and monthly business performance. Visible is a natural extension of our services. The product helps us to integrate with metric sources (QuickBooks online and Google sheets to name a couple) to display core financial metrics for our customers. This gives our customer real time insight into how they are trending. This is crucially helpful for the our customers. ### 3. It immediately became one of the most useful tools as we started and continue to fundraise. As a startup founder raising for the first time, one of the most beneficial things for me was having an extremely easy and clean CRM solution inside Visible that allowed me to track everybody that I talked to, send updates to, and that viewed the deck. This helped me not have to take on a second tool to try and have a way more robust CRM that would take time and overhead to manage. Day one, we've loved using the custom domain attached to our pitch deck in Visible, which allowed me to create a custom short link and a QR code that I could get out to anyone at any time and not have to go searching for my deck. I would say my top feature is the investor updates. Being able to quickly write, manage, and send my investor updates on a timely basis has been clutch. **What do you dislike about Visible?** To be honest, I haven't had anything that I greatly dislike about the software. It's been a stable and trusted tool in my investment portfolio stack. Whenever I've seen little quirks or potential areas for experience optimization, I've always sent them to the team in chat. And they're always extremely communicative and proactive about optimizing the experience, which is great. **What problems is Visible solving and how is that benefiting you?** A centralized place where I can manage contacts, communications, investor reports, data room, and hosting my pitch deck all in one place. ### 4. The slide deck and doc sharing platform is amazing to track who is seeing your deck and examining what slides they’re viewing and gathering other insights. The entire platform is a must have for any entrepreneur. As an early stage founder I’ve found it absolutely critical to my daily workflow. It beautifully consolidates an investor CRM, the ability to cleanly share and track views of your pitch deck, and makes it really easy to send out updates to individuals, groups, or the whole CRM. When it comes to raising investment, Visible is one of your most powerful tools. Of course I could also just a normal email marketing tool for this purpose, but I love how simple and focused Visible is on just this one task. I think the newsletter creation tool is really simple and streamlined. I have never had a technical support issue. I like the analytics and overall features around measurements. **What do you dislike about Visible?** I think it would be great if it were avaialble as a plugin or add-on for HubSpot. Since I use HubSpot for CRM and Marketing already, I kind of wish I could consolidate all of my outreach into one venue. **What problems is Visible solving and how is that benefiting you?** I keep all my investor materials like decks, data room materails etc in one area and this keeps me organized. ### 12. That charts and graphs are fantastic - no need to build in Excel and then move them. **What do you dislike about Visible?** You need to spend a little time learning how to connect the right metrics and then build charts that are automatically updated monthly, but it is worth putting in the time. **What problems is Visible solving and how is that benefiting you?** Visible primarily helps us send monthly investor reports. We also use Visible when we are fundraising. The VC CRM works well. ### 14. It is extremely easy to have recurring updates with data and metrics to support the updates. Ever since I switched to Visible, I have been able to keep all of my investors informed about the successes and challenges of the business, allowing them to help me as needed. It is extremely easy to get started using it. They have an amazing template system as well to make regular updates easy. **What do you dislike about Visible?** They have limited data connections to connect the data and metrics of the business to updates, but they do have a decent API and can connect to basic spreadsheets so there are good work arounds. **Recommendations to others considering Visible:** It is absolutely worth your time if you have investors you need to keep in touch with. It will make your life easier and make them happier to know what is going on with their money. **What problems is Visible solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am solving the challenge of communicating to over 90 individual investors at any given time (from Series B VCs to individual angels from our seed round). It allows me to keep everyone informed easily, minimizing the individual calls I need to make. ### 16. We also use it to communicate with our team on a weekly basis. **What do you dislike about Visible?** I wish there were additional integrations that enabled us to showcase more of our business. We could use a Hubspot integration (which I think they are working on) and a few new ways to create charts. **Recommendations to others considering Visible:** I would recommend Visible to teams wanting to improve their communications with investors and the team itself.
