What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?

Virtuous has applied as much thought to the admin UI/UX as they have to the rich data their platform makes available. Even though the platform is a complete paradigm shift from our previous CRM, user onboarding has been reasonably smooth. What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?

Our primary downside of migration had more to do with getting valuable, accurate information out of our old system to bring into the Virtuous environment. We had so many non-standard solutions to work around prior-platform deficiencies that translation into the more thoughtful and best-practice-inspired model of Virtuous was sometimes challenging. What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?

Virtuous has built a powerful and intuitive tool that allows our team to integrate lead pipelines, email marketing campaigns, and moves management systems for major donors. Their customer support and new features road map are truly responsive to us. The automation features are a dream and help us care well for our donors. We use the software across teams to support our member network, magazine subscribers, and donors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?

Every so often we experience slow loading times. I am excited to see them improve their direct mail partnership capabilities, as well. We are probably only two Virtuous product updates away from our VP of Communications moving all our email marketing from Mailchimp to Virtuous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?

As the administrator that handles the incoming donations, I like the ease of this system, the flexibility to make changes/adjustments and the accuracy of the automation with our credit card processor. Plus I appreciate the accurate automation. I was talking to someone who uses a different system and they are continually running into issues of rejected credit card payments on recurring donations so their balances are not accurate. I appreciate that Virutous rejects donations that are not valid. Seems obvious but I guess some systems do now have checks in place for recurring donations.

What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?

One downside for us is the cost of Virtuous continues to increase. We are a small nonprofit and over the last year we have had an increase in donors (a good thing!) however every time we go over 1000 contacts, the fee increases another $1560. What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?

Virtuous is one of the more intuitive, user-friendly CRMs I have used in my fundraising career—while still providing robust data and analysis. This is the third donor database my current nonprofit has employed over the years—the first one I was able to choose personally—and after multiple years now using the platform, we're all still very satisfied. We appreciate having instant access to upgrades and new features, and I can't begin to say how wonderful our experience with the PEOPLE of Virtuous has been. Our sales associate, data migration team, customer success specialist, and the help desk folks have provided fast, efficient, thorough, knowledgeable, proactive assistance at every step. What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?

This is largely an out-of-the-box solution that does not require significant up-front investment of time and manpower (two things nonprofits notoriously lack) in order to build from scratch. That may not be the right choice for someone who needs or desires more customization, but it was for us. What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?

The marketing automation functioanlity in Virtuous is best in class and has allowed us to scale fundraising without always bringing on more humans. The automations function does the work of 1.5 humans, and we are just getting started. We have entire donor journeys built out on automations...we call it our "donor plinko board," a place where, no matter where someone enters our ecosystem, Virtuous know who they are and serves them with the right message on the right channel at the right time. What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?

There was a period of time where support was slower and less helpful, but they have really stepped it up on that side of things, and we now are getting quick and helpful support responses, even offers to jump on video calls to diagnose the problems or questions. What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?

Virtuous is a CRM that fits the distinct needs of modern nonprofits like a glove.

Our staff learned to generate reports, track progress, and record notes in an extremely short period of time. Our data is secure (and still ours--no gimmicky contract!).

It's easy to create processes to ensure major gift officers are always prepared, making sensitive, informed, relational decisions to invite people to support the mission. We feel more confident about the asks we make than ever before.

I'm also a user of the software, and I love that email marketing and segmentation is a breeze. We like the email software far better than Mailchimp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
