**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

For the size of our organization and the work we do, it has been exactly what we needed. It is easy to search. It is easy to enter notes and data. Just a great resource. Their customer service is probably what makes them even better than the rest.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

When we came to Virtuous, our organization had been doing things that Virtuous can't handle. This was more our problem than Virtuous as we needed to adapt to every person having their own account versus family's sharing an account in the system.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuous CRM+:**

As with any product, take the time to understand the features provided by Virtuous compared to either what you already have or what you really need. Do this before you buy the product. I think you will really appreciate this product. The Virtuous team is easy to work with, so you can feel free to ask them any question you have about their product or how their product will meet your needs.

**What problems is Virtuous CRM+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a central location for all of our staff to record customer interactions and notes. Virtuous has helped us with this and more. We also enjoy the email functionality to send receipts or campaigns.

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

The employees and support team at Virtuous are so genuinely helpful and every time we've talked with them, it's clear they always put their clients first.  We love how easy it is to learn and use the system + they're always releasing new updates based on user feedback. They actually listen and WANT feedback so they can improve an already awesome CRM.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

Honestly, I have no complaints - any issues we've ever had have been handled beautifully and the team at Virtuous has worked hard to improve or resolve problems based of our feedback.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuous CRM+:**

The Virtuous team will train you and your team so that you can function more smoothly and serve your clients better, so don't be afraid of having to learn a new system.  They helped us figure out how we were going to switch from our old CRM and troubleshoot potential issues.

**What problems is Virtuous CRM+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us track our donors and their giving milestones better than ever before and allows us to set up reminders so that we can congratulate donors on those milestones when they hit them. I feel like we communicate with our donors better now than we did with our previous programs because everything is so accessible and virtuous doesn't let us miss anything!  We were also able to set up email reminders fo tasks we wanted to be reminded about, so we don't have to worry about new donors falling through the cracks etc.

The email marketing system is wonderfully user friendly and has helped us create better looking emails + Virtuous has a great system for segmenting donors. Because of that, we're able to easily target different demographics of people with information that is most relevant to them.

We love the customer service. They are very helpful and they understand fundraising as it's evolving today. They aren't trying to use outdated methods with today's quickly changing landscape. They are innovative!

There's nothing to dislike! They are the complete deal!

Go for it, they are a great group of people to work with and it's a growing platform!

**What problems is Virtuous CRM+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're getting notifications when donors hit a trigger so staff can follow up promptly. For example when donor's gifts reach $1,000. a staff member can send them a congratulations on their accomplishments. We're using automations with new donors. The automations are fabulous!  But one of the new features that's so exciting is the responsive giving string for the website. Wow!

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

I liked the idea of Virtuous and the functionality I saw on the demo.  I am still hopeful that once this product is delivered to us, I will still like those things.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

1. It has been 5 1/2 months since I signed the contract and I still do not have access to our data in the database.

2. The expectation from Virtuous has been that I pay for all  5 1/2 of those months for the "service" even though I have not been able to use it.  Nonprofits are very frugal. So to pay for a half year of service, using donor funds, for a system I cannot use has been a really tough pill to swallow. This is especially true because all of the delays have just been us waiting for them to have enough manpower to work on our database.  They have used some delay tactics, such as "you need to watch these training videos." But it is not helpful to watch videos in July and then have to re-watch them in December when we finally have access to our data.

3. We have had no less than 10 zoom meetings.  Not one time has the team been on time. I understand that sometimes things happen but to be late every single time just shows their lack of respect for the customer.  In addition, 100% of the times their team has been late, no one has apologized. It's as if we weren't waiting 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes for them to get on the meeting.

I feel like they have a strong marketing presence.  They have a lot of functionality that nonprofits want.  They have NOTmanaged their growth appropriately.  The nonprofits suffer as a result.  With misleading timelines (please send us access to your database by July 15 and then being asked to give someone else access mid-August and then someone finally logged in and started mapping at the end of October/Early November) and the expectation to pay while they find someone to do the work has been a completely frustrating process.

Tread lightly with Virtuous, temper your expectations, and expect to pay a lot for nothing for a very long time.

The thing i dislike is that I am unable to send a campaign to only one selected donor at a time. For instance I would love it to be able to send previous sponsor updates to the newest donor without having to send to the whole group or contact querey, just let me put in one email as a one off when a new donor comes.

We appreciate the ability to track a good level of detail related to each contact, and to have such a wide variety of criteria available as we export data in different reports.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

Occasionally, there is a report parameter that we'd like to see available in the query tool, however Virtuous is very open to suggestions for adding to/developing the product!

**What problems is Virtuous CRM+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to track well with each of our donors--their giving activity and our contact with them. Being able to pull specific data out of the database helps us with specific fundraising efforts--ie segmenting donors and stewarding appropriately.

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

Virtuous can store all of your information - any type of data that you might want to keep a log of and connected to an individual's account is readily accessible. I think it's really neat that it can recommend how much to request from a donor! And it quickly shows gift information. They update the system regularly - they actually send a very funny email each month with the updates! And they have webinars available frequently, and I've heard back from their support team quickly when it's been needed (rare).

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

Because Virtuous is thorough, it is complex and can be a bit complicated. There are some specific parts (not the most used ones, by any means) that take more clicks to access, so it can take some time to get to the information you need. Specifically volunteer management, grant management, and some parts of regular donation management (just the more complicated gifts) require lots of clicking in order to access or add basic information. It is well-organized, though! The email system is neat, but subscriptions are based on the number of emails you send so if you have a large database it can become more expensive than other email management systems.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuous CRM+:**

Review your needs for this type of database and compare database options, choosing the one that excels at the parts you most need. Virtuous is fantastic for fundraising and donor relations, but there are a couple of other aspects (like Grants and Volunteers) that are adequate but more tedious. And the Virtuous team is always working to improve things and takes suggestions!

**What problems is Virtuous CRM+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program allows very thorough account details - some things we had been logging in spreadsheets, but once we got Virtuous, then we could track everything in one system and get to all information fairly quickly. That makes it so that you don't have to search any other database or multiple files to find one piece of information, and, depending on how you set up each user, the whole team can readily access the information so there are less emails and phone calls back and forth between the team. More efficiency in work among the entire team is great!
You can optimize your experience for each individual and it not affect the entire team - that means less complaints among the team than our last CRM! Each person can choose their settings, and the administrator can determine what aspects each person can access or edit. It has a lot more details in the personalization set by the administrator, which has made it much simpler for our team once general settings were finalized.

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

At first I found the system a bit difficult to use. But as Virtuous has integrated additional updates and continuously improved the product, I'm a big fan. I've explored other Donor Manager Systems and have found them clunky, confusing, and non-intuitive. Virtuous has an easy interface and provides a simple user experience. The team is also really responsive and helps problem solve quickly.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

As a new platform, some features take time to roll out. I still do not love the email function - it lacks some of the functionality that other email clients like Constant Contact or Mailchimp offer.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuous CRM+:**

It took me several months of getting used to Virtuous, plus comparison with other CRM brands to really come to know and love Virtuous. My recommendations are to give yourself time, lean heavily on Virtuous Support (they are so helpful), and to invest your energy in the help/learning that Virtuous provides.

We have solved the problem of tracking and managing our donors, and integrating our communications and fundraising plans with Virtuous.

They are constantly updating and adding new features, which is great. They are even considering some of our update requests. However, we have barely scratched the surface of all the things that Virtuous does. It's amazingly overwhelming but in a good way. We finally have a dedicated Virtuous site manager, so hopefully she will get us up to speed soon.

Migration was tough. We missed some things that should have been fixed first. It can also be tough to stay on top of learning all the new features.

Definitely use it! It will change the way you do business!

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

Virtuous is a young company that is giving serious thought to the future of fundraising. They release new features on a monthly basis and are very responsive to the needs of the users. I have asked for features multiple times and then saw the new features implemented a month or two later. They are building tools that allow for a highly customized and personalized donor experience, which is the direction the industry is heading. The query tool is very simple to use and offers a ton of power to get exactly the data you're looking for. Automations save time and energy for repetitive tasks. The newly released smart gift arrays and website listening tools are going to be game changers in understanding our donors.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

There are some big features that are missing natively, like peer-to-peer fundraising (although you can pay for an integrations). More complex questions to the support team can sometimes take a while to be answered/resolved. The onboarding process could have been smoother, but some of that was our fault as an organization because we hadn't kept our data clean over the years and had not adhered to some best-practices.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuous CRM+:**

The software is only as good as the effort you put into it. Be prepared to spend a significant amount of time at the beginning to ensure your data is clean and to set up your system in the way that works best for your specific organization. Ask a lot of questions during your live trainings. Be clear on what your needs and goals for the system are.

**What problems is Virtuous CRM+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have focused on cleaning our database and building automations to streamline our internal workflows and curate relationships with new contacts, first-time donors, and existing donors. Since implementing Virtuous, we have seen a major increase in online giving (an over 60% increase).

The visibility within Virtuous is tremendous. The user interface, integrations, and intuitiveness are unrivaled. Our Gift Advisors are able to do their jobs in ways that were just not possible before, with the prior CRM.

I honestly have no dislikes. Every person on our team has learned how to use it quickly, efficiently, and in ways the immediately brought more engagement with donors.

Use Virtuous as the benchmark from which to investigate other CRMs.

Our lapsed donors are now re-engaged. Virtuous Marketing allows us to talk to donors in much more real-time ways than we were able to before. We are now strategic and targeted.

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

We are allowing staff to see specific data instead of asking Finance for the answer. I like the ability to run queries based on many different options. It is also nice once a query is made to share it with other staff members or copy it again for a new project.  I enjoy all the different widgets on the dashboard. It helps give a quick glance on where we stand financially. The Gift import templates help save on re-entering the monthly ACH donations every month. When we did use Virtuous Giving, it was nice to have all the credit card donations imported each morning. 
It is nice to have notes for each donor and staff can understand the changes the the giving by looking at notes. It also nice to help keep track of Thank you notes sent, phone calls, in person visits, etc.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

We had to have a complete overhaul of our Quickbooks' Chart of Accounts and classes to help everything transfer over properly.  Since we use classes in QBO, the data doesn't upload to QBO easily. Anytime a donation needs to be edited in Virtuous, we have to remember to change the deposit in QBO. To help find any errors, we run a monthly donation report by project to make sure the Virtuous project balance and the QBO class balance match. I dislike that sometimes it takes a while to figure out a query for what you what kind of data you would like to see. It does take awhile to learn all the steps for entering donations. 
While we liked the credit card donations importing each month, we disliked having the access to update the donors credit card information when it expired or to change the amount. Most of our donors didn't want to the update the information in the donor portal themselves, they wanted us to do it for them. For this reason, we stopped using Virtuous Giving and manually enter all the credit card donations each day.

**What problems is Virtuous CRM+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Virtuous helped us to allow staff to see more information on the programs they are in charge of without giving them access to all accounts. It also helped with them being able to find their own answers instead of always asking Finance to find the answer. We like the benefit of sending emails to the whole database, and we have seen past donors give again. We enjoy the tags assigned to donors that help pull information faster and gives a quick snapshot of what the donor gives to.

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

The user interface is intuitive, simple yet elegant, and the AI features that guide our team members to focus on key relationship "next steps" are very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

There are some limitations in its structure that may or may not affect each user organization. Recognizing that no CRM can be all things for all people, it would be more ideal if the development of new features would be a bit more open and inclusive, and perhaps quicker.

**What problems is Virtuous CRM+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We came from another non-profit/church-centric CRM, so the change was a big leap forward for us. In a nutshell, we now have a more comprehensive way to view, understand, build and act upon our relationship with each contact. A key and yet ongoing benefit is the ability to  "inventory" data on each contact, and activity with each one as well. Plus group and then cater our efforts and communications more precisely.

The ease of use. Virtuous CRM has a lot of face validity, so you can easily find what you need. ILOVE the automations!

I would like to see the volunteer module updated to include groups, and make it easier to log hours for them

I would definitely recommend Virtuous CRM.  It's especially relevant for smaller nonprofits who are just moving into a CRM database.

Having one tool to keep track of donors, volunteers, events, and also to be able to do mass mailings, individual emails, and even texts is grat.

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

The conversion from our old cloud-based CRM to Virtuous was very successful.  Very easy and required little effort on our part.  The training was very good.  It was part online training and part in-person.  It helped us with our bigger tasks, such as end of year statements and follow-up with big fundraiser.  The rest of the team just have loved this software

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

Some of the accounting reconciliation reports aren't setup to give the information we like, but we have a work-around.  I would like the donor portal to give donors the option of printing their own statements.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuous CRM+:**

Virtuous is expensive for us as a medium sized non-profit.  If we were a fortune 500 company, it would be in the realm of other software systems.  I've been very impressed with their responsiveness, even during COVID.  We all still feel after 10 months that it was well worth the investment.  We did a lot of research to compare what we had and what others were using.  We haven't used its full capacity yet (our issue) and we still love it and it has still saved us manhours.  This is a critical system for us, so we put our money to good use.

better support to donors and keeping up with recurring payments better.  We have improved communications to recognize donor activities better. The automated workflows allow for powerfully personal donor experiences. These workflows respond to user-defined triggers such as giving, giving thresholds, newsletter sign-up, etc. 

The automated tasks work very well to ensure our team is responding to donor signals such as giving and volunteering. The tasks prompt our teams to make phone calls, send emails, and send thank you letters. 

Recurring tasks are helping us to manage our database by following best-practice guidelines for data-hygiene and management.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

My only dislike is that more fields are not able to be merged into emails. I would like to use more merge tags than there are currently available in the email builder.

Virtuous is helping us to stop donors from feeling alienated and distant by sending automated personal communication such as birthday and anniversary cards.

The best thing about Virtuous is that they LIVE their product. From my very first contact, every single person I dealt with was thoroughly responsive to me. As I came to use the system and learn the best practices upon which it is based, I saw that they were all modeling the concepts and the system the whole time. I found it to be a powerful endorsement, and a confirmation that they are truly invested in what they do.

There isn't anything "unhelpful" about Virtuous or the team of people who support the customers. My only problem is putting into place a marketing and engagement plan that makes full use of Virtuous' power--but at least the learning resources and best practice components of Virtuous lend themselves toward the foundations of good outreach.

Fundamentally, we've solved the problem with our demographic data being all over the place (literally, so many Excel files) and disconnected with our giving records. This is huge! Now we can study giving patterns, reach out to stakeholders in a meaningful way, and make vast improvements in how we do fundraising. It also lets us do these things without a huge staff.

Lots of potential with this CRM. A lot of solid features that take time and learning to get used to. Not as easy as advertised. Customer service has been helpful and responsive most of the time.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

Some of its features aren't entirely user-friendly and intuitive. 

-You need to get used to their terms especially if you're migrating from an old CRM.  

-Data import templates are rigid and assume the user knows exactly how to match old data with Virtuous terminology. Virtuous glossary should be front and center for all users. This would save lots of time and questions.

-Email automation campaign tracking only tracks emails, not other channels. You need to look into a Google Analytics 4 integration if you want to track other giving channels such as web, social media, etc. Any URL parameters outside of what is outlined in the help article would require a 3rd party tool to track. Virtuous only looks for those specific parameters. It will ignore all others. A lot of their customers use GA UTM codes along side our parameters and Virtuous tracks Virtuous things and GA tracks the other ones, and probably the Virtuous ones too if you desired.

-There is no email response bank to automations. You have to track these internally. It would be nice to have responses all under one roof and organized by automation series/campaign.

-When training an organization on features it would be helpful to show features outside of Virtuous sandbox environment so that we can understand the CRM on our terms using our data. I understand the ease of the sandbox training environment, but we seek training because we need to understand how to use Virtuous for our specific data environment.

Customer service has been alright for the most part, but sometimes personalized help would be appreciated over redirecting customers to a help article. We want to talk to a person who will listen to our pain points, not an AI bot. It's okay to admit you don't know the answer to a question—it's better than beating around the bush and giving the same answer 5 different ways. After 4 months of working on a data import problem, Virtuous finally agreed to hop on a call to actually listen to me. Corey did well. I think my experience may be a little different if we weren't transitioning from an old CRM requiring mass data imports.

I like that at a glance you can see current giving, notes and important information pertaining to a specific donor. I appreciate how queries can be easily built without having to spend a lot of time figuring out what type of query should be used. I use reporting on a daily basis is required, therefore, using Virtuous in that capacity is key. I also like the training given and is available. Assigning tags and creating projects to designate donations is important and I like that you can add or delete as needed. There is so much to learn and I haven't even uncovered all the benefits to using Virtuous for our organization.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

Some of the ways in which queries are built can use some improvement but overall very happy with results. Some of the fields for use are not currently able to be exported. Is there an improvement forum? There is not a way to reassign a note is you are the person inputting a note on someone else's behalf. This would be very helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuous CRM+:**

I recommend Virtuous CRM because of their support, willingness to improve and training available.  Having all three enables the user to feel supported in making business decisions.

**What problems is Virtuous CRM+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some problems  that are solved are within the automation process especially when using tags or allowing our MGO's to be notified for specific donor needs. There are benefits to the receipting process ease of processing and updating receipts as well. When completing tax letters, it was great to know all of the letters would be placed in the donors files automatically for our records. I have created several automation processes and am able to create for donor touches. Additional benefits include query sharing and being able to import. The import process is helpful in that donors are flagged that do not have matches or need to be set up in the system.

Our automated workflows on Virtuous are sending personalized content to donors based on varying donor signals (such as a first-time gift or a donor's birthday). This automation is allowing our small team to spend more time cultivating relationships with donors.

Despite some stress during the beginning, the Virtuous team has been nothing but helpful and supportive of teaching me and my team how to best use Virtuous. It's easy to use and understand, and every tool feels necessary and helpful. Along with this, they are very receptive to feedback and roll out monthly updates to the CRM to make sure it is working as good as it can be.

Customer support is all done online, which can be hard to relay information at times, but responses are normally quick and if it's escalated, phone calls and training are possible. We have also had some issues with glitches or not being able to find settings that can sometimes be hidden if you don't know exactly what you are looking for. But these issues are usually quickly resolved.

Transfering databases is always stressful. Wait until you get past the transfer point and training and this CRM will be your best resource

The software is not stagnant. While it is already a powerful tool. the Virtuous team is highly dedicated to continually improving every aspect and are readily accessible for help, and ways they can improve their software to help their customers.

While the software is continually updating, there are some aspects that will be important to one organization, but not to another. One example is that we use Virtuous' Marketing for all of our emails, but we do not have a way of running a report on the emails to get a bird's eye view of each email's delivery, click, marked spam, and unsubscribed rates, for example. There are workarounds for almost any issue, and if not, the team may be able to point one out.

Because of the Virtuous CRM, our organization has been able to consolidate the data management and marketing software we use. We now have one place to track all of our supporters, donors, and can easily pull financial reports to know exactly where we stand. Automation!  I can personalize automated tasks and emails to serve donors best while staying on task myself.  Reminders help me to follow up with donors, the online giving system allows for instant thank you's and receipts and emails can be automated to cultivate new or lapsed donors leading to excellent results.   The money raised by utilizing Virtuous to its capacity will always outweigh the cost of the CRM.

They are growing and while they still stay on top of customer needs, usually within a few hours, it used to be within a few minutes.    It takes prodding to get my team to learn "yet"  another new system, but I do expect it will be the LAST time they have to learn a new CRM.

It's a lot of work, but we're moving towards managing our entire staff's contact mailing list within Virtuous, making our physical mailing process significantly more manageable than it ever has been in the past.

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

Our data was really scattered and it was difficult to manage until we implemented Virtuous as a donor management platform. it changed everything about how we track donors, and build better relationships as well. The automation part of Virtuous is second to none, and feels like we have an extra "person" on staff to communicate with our donors.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

We would love to see the marketing platform (emails, forms, peer-to-peer, texting) become far more advanced. Those features are available in their most basic form, but could be developed into something great in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuous CRM+:**

You will absolutely love the automation that comes with this platform. It's easy to setup and saves you tons of time in building a personal relationship with your donors.

**What problems is Virtuous CRM+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits have been much more timely communications, and far better tracking of the return on each of those communication pieces. Now we can track how much revenue is generated from our print newsletter, our emails, and our Social Media platforms, etc. This has given us great insight into which channels provide the best engagement with our donors.

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

Virtuous is constantly updating and improving its usability. If you have a suggestion, it will likely be part of a later release. We ended up choosing Virtuous over other options as it has robust marketing automation features that make connecting with constituents much easier.

Virtuous automation is incredibly capable. Its only limitations are that of the query builder. Virtuous support provides as much help as one would need to find any information they might be looking for or need to create an automated workflow.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

As previously mentioned, Virtuous cares about its user's concerns and suggestions. They release monthly updates that often include improvements based on user input. That said, instant chat support is something we wish existed. There are times we are in the middle of an important campaign where waiting hours to a day can be costly to the overall campaign.

We wish there was a direct mail component for bulk direct mail campaigns, as well as for individual mailings. Virtuous recently introduced a service for individual mailings, however it is outsourced and requires an additional contract and annual fee. Our organization would like the option to compile a letter and list and press one button within the system to print the letter/envelopes in-house on our own printers. Additionally, being able to work this in with automation would be incredibly valuable.

More support articles and possibly a user forum to share ideas, tips, tricks, and solutions to common problems would decrease the reliance on the support team. Lastly, Virtuous offers the ability to utilize custom CSS for emails and receipts, however they offer zero support for CSS. Basic support for CSS would be really nice.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuous CRM+:**

If you need a tool capable of Salesforce abilities, go with Salesforce. However, if you are a growing organization that would like to begin implementing automation into your process, then onboarding Virtuous CRM with the Marketing tool activated is definitely a smart move. One downside with Virtuous one might consider before deciding to go this route is that Virtuous doesn't have many user management capabilities that are necessary to properly manage users in a system like this. Meaning, you can't reset passwords, granularly change permissions, track uses, view a system-wide history log, etc. That said, for smaller and growing organizations where those features may be less important, Virtuous is an incredibly powerful and capable tool for the money.

**What problems is Virtuous CRM+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Virtuous has enabled our organization to not only find gaps in communication with our constituents but also fill those voids with more effective and more regular communication. The automation tools that Virtuous offers are highly impactful in our ability to stay connected to our supporters.

Within the first year of using Virtuous, our organization saw close to a 100% increase in donation revenue. Although Virtuous wasn't solely responsible for that raise, it definitely played a huge factor in our ability to better target and reach our audience.

Virtuous excels in data management and organization. Between the strategic use of projects and campaigns, reporting can become an extremely valuable and actionable tool. We have always run reports, however Virtuous brought to light the opportunity to dive deeper into more meaningful data.

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

It's hard to say what I like "best" about Virtuous because it's an excellent platform all the way around. The CRM (https://www.virtuouscrm.com/software/nonprofit-crm/) is incredibly user friendly and robust, which makes it possible for everyone on our team to engage, even our non-technical users. The marketing automation features and functionality make it easy for our marketing and communications team to target the right segment of our database for email communication and the giving forms and giving portal make it very easy for new donors to join our mission.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

At this time there is truly nothing I dislike about the software.

I can't say enough good things about this platform.

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

I appreciate it's ability to pre-process online gifts so I only need to make modifications! I appreciate the quick keys features which make processing manual donations much quicker. I enjoy the idea of the recurring gift tracker, but wish it gave more notification when a recurring gift lapses.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

The quick search feature frequently fails to pull up any contacts (usually due to having a spouse's name on the account as well). Sometimes queries are exceptionally slow, but I am not sure if there is anything they can do about this. The ability to create a larger number of tax receipts at once would also be beneficial. The dashboard is a nice idea but doesn't provide many options in terms of what is reported. More options for widgets would be good! We also struggle with queries not pulling up all the donors they should - we've resolved this by using multiple queries, but it would be nice if we could streamline this process.

I think there could be more options for queries and the quick search feature is quite bad.

I've never worked with any other CRMs, but Virtuous allows us to organize data and create reports effectively. It also allows us to tax receipt with relative ease. The processing is quick and intuitive, I think having more "types" of contacts would be really beneficial for more specificity - right now we use Tags to segment this data but I think having more options for types would also help with this problem.

I highly recommend Virtuous CRM. We have found the CRM and marketing functionality to be top notch and easy to use. We love the Automations that allow us to communicate to our donors in a very personal, yet sustainable way. Reporting is easy and I can answer Management questions about our donors in minutes.

We have a much better understanding of our donor base. Reports are easy to generate and our communication with donors is much more tailored to their interests and needs.

**What do you like best about Virtuous CRM+?**

Virtuous CRM has been a great tool for our growing organization. Virtuous takes automations to the next level which has allowed us to put several workflows in place enabling higher rates of retention and engagement. The system itself is very easy to navigate and learn. That said, I do believe that the tool is much more complex and capable than several reviewers on here and users I've talked with are aware. I'd recommend having an operations manager or a higher-level employee tasked with the implementation, management, and oversight of the tool as it's easy to get overwhelmed once you start utilizing the tool to it's full potential.

**What do you dislike about Virtuous CRM+?**

The number 1 issue we have is the lack of support compared to other similar CRMs on the market. Although the support is usually really helpful and knowledgeable, it can take several hours to a day to hear back. This can make last minute deadlines impossible to meet if you need any kind of support. They do have an online database with minimal support materials. It would be nice to see a support forum implemented, and eventually, a live chat feature. That takes money though, so a forum of users could supplement that in the meantime. 

The other issue we experience and unfortunately are really unhappy with is the import tool. We run campaigns where we capture thousands of emails at a time and creating new contacts is incredibly cumbersome and time consuming. If you don't have a dedicated data input person, the import tool will add time you weren't used to spending.

Lastly, the receipt tool is really basic and difficult to use unless you know HTML.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuous CRM+:**

Virtuous is an incredibly powerful tool. If you are looking for SalesForce type of workflows and customization, go with SalesForce. If you are a small-medium sized organization, this platform is one of the best you can get for the money. Just understand that there may be some areas that fall short of expectation. That said, you will be able to achieve more with Virtuous and won't get caught up using a clunky/hard-to-use system.

We wanted to find a better way to maintain regular contact with our constituents and ensure that we were taking advantage of the contacts we've made with potential donors and donors. The automations enable us to maintain and nurture relationships with our database. Virtuous CRM continues to make improvements to their application which continues to make analysing our donor activity much easier to do and easier to act upon the data. 

We have grown our database by over 60% and increased revenue by over 50% since joining Virtuous. Virtuous did not necessarily create that increase, but gave us a platform to be able to manage that immense growth.

The interface and that it's online and accessible everywhere. It's very user friendly and once you get a hold of the concepts, things fall into place very easily. The helpdesk is quite knowledgable and can help happily

At times the updates will muck up our existing queries and we'll have to fix up everything. We are an Australian org so it normally takes a day for questions to be answered.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuous CRM+:**

We had all of our questions asked beforehand but after going live there are still things to fix up so make sure you ask in details how things would look like in the real system. We also have problems with the way addresses was presented so details like that should be considered before going live as well.

Contacting donors and thanking them has been a big improvement since our last CRM but there are still things that need to be improved for automations to be fully functional
