What do you like best about Virto.CAD?

Virto.CAD is an excellent program that provides highly realistic simulation capabilities, closely resembling how an actual installation will look and function. This realism allows for better design decision-making throughout a project, ensuring more accurate and efficient planning. Additionally, if any issues arise, the helpdesk is very responsive and quick to assist, making the overall experience smooth and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Virto.CAD?

It would be incredibly useful if Virto.CAD could incorporate AutoCAD command tools. This integration would make the software even more versatile, especially for users who are already familiar with the AutoCAD environment. It would streamline workflows and enhance efficiency in project design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Virto.CAD?

Since using Virto.CAD, it has been one of my go-to software for designing solar PV systems. Object such as automatic module and tracker layout generation and also the ground clearance visualization reduce the designing time and increase its accuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Virto.CAD?

Virto.CAD does not contain rich options for using the software in collaborative design initiatives. Some of these features that are lacking include real-time co-editing or version control which makes it straining to work on large projects in a team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Virto.CAD?

Working as a solar project engineer has made Virto.CAD part and parcel of my task. The capability of drawing detailed drawing, and performing calculations within the AutoCAD environment tremendously shortens the time otherwise required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Virto.CAD?

The program lacks real time collaboration, which practically implies that there is no way to collaborate on a single project with other users. Version control can be also problematic and if several revisions are made it can be difficult to track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Virto.CAD?

Virto.CAD allows me to design a solar installation in only a few minutes. Because it is implemented in Autocad, i can combine this with the versatile functions of Autocad and present it in the way i want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Virto.CAD?

Some standard parameters are not how i would like them, mainly the arrow sizes and text. I always draw annotative, and not in absolute sizes.

Also the summary table does not automatically resizes according to the text inside, which is time consuming to manually correct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Virto.CAD?

Integration with Inflights 3D drone models which removes the need to build 3D models of the buildings and obstacles typical of a rooftop solar PV system.

Layouts generation is quick for simple roofs or roofs with few orientations.

Customer support is also great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Virto.CAD?

The cable management and cable tray modelling is not as customisable as I would like. The automated generation is also not very intuitive.

Shading simulations can become very glitchy/slow on large complex models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
