Some of the content for smaller children is okay. There are a few silly songs I still think were good for learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The content for many kids, and especially older kids is an absolute snore and often far above the level of the students expected to be learning it. Children were often expected to do additional work outside of class which was rarely ever completed, probably since the classes and the children's schedules were so crammed-full to start with. The platform and content is outdated and boring. The parts of it that are updated could be nice, but require a stronger internet connection than most people have, so they would load super slowly or not at all, leaving students and teachers frustrated and unable to finish the course materials. VIPKid is a flexible and fulfilling way to come up with additional flex spending for my family. The curriculum is provided for you, all you have to do is be there for the kids and provide the best learning experience possible for them. Very little preparation is required.
