The UI is very easy to use and is integrated with LiveRamp and other platforms/vendors to be able to push your own 1P, 2P or 3P data into the platform to leverage. The team is always available when you need them; and they're right there by your side to ensure you're setting up & implementing things properly from a campaign setup perspective. We've historically used the DSP quite a lot at my agency, particularly our programmatic experts in house, and have found it to be one of our top Go-To platforms for running a number of campaigns. **What do you dislike about Viant Technology?** Coming from a healthcare marketing agency, it would be extremely beneficial if Viant/Adelphic had tools that were specific to my industry -- e.g. outcomes measurement tools/capes, patient modeling, HCP targeting capabilities, more granular contextual/keyword targeting by using conditions & therapeutic areas, etc. **What problems is Viant Technology solving and how is that benefiting you?** They're a one-stop-shop for all things programmatic buying, and that makes the lives of our media buyers & programmatic traders a lot easier -- when we can use one platform/one partner to handle a brunt of all the buying and across various ad formats, channels, inventory sources, audiences, etc. ### 2. From day one, our assigned team was ready to brainstorm and guide us through implementing campaigns. They're very responsive, and answer questions quickly. They are all local to the US, so business hour responses are common. The platform itself takes some getting used to, but once you figure out your campaign structure and how to apply audiences, the world is at your fingertips. Viant has many 3rd party audiences, as well as some unique partnerships. You also have the ability to scale channels, with display, native, connected TV, and even "programmatic" linear TV which describes their relationship with Dish Network. **What do you dislike about Viant Technology?** After using the platform for a few months, there are two downsides I see. Fees being the biggest. As you add on levers to your advertising, many come with a fee which compounds to a point where you're spending 60% of your budget on fees and much less on media and impressions. My second downside is too much scale sometimes. There are a number of sites that will absorb too much budget, and excluding sites in bulk is very cumbersome and slow. **What problems is Viant Technology solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to run many different ad types in the same platform and reach premium sites with them is a great time saver. ### 4. Audience builder is another feature I really like for the control over customizing audiences while keeping data costs low, along with advanced reporting features (foot traffic measurement especially). **What do you dislike about Viant Technology?** Standard reports are limited in available metrics (no frequency or unique people reached), and conversion reporting is fragmented across multiple options. Have also used for display and video campaigns for upper funnel metrics and those performed well. The fact that there also aren't added data fees for Viant ACR is a plus because that keeps CPM down and ultimately CPAs down. **What do you dislike about Viant Technology?** The incrementality methodology isn't standard. The fact that someone in the control can move to the test group after 24 hours greatly skews the data. The incrementality dashboard is helpful, but the strategy behind the testing needs some improvements. **What problems is Viant Technology solving and how is that benefiting you?** Expanding into CTV and video in general, there's a huge migration from display static, and Adelphic can provide inventory to meet this. Their ACR targeting and specificity has really helped campaigns and performance. The fact taht DOOH is also a big initiative makes it easier to purchase multiple channels at one time. ### 22. So usually I wont pull reports from Adelphic for this reason. The workflow for campaign set-up is intuitive. General navigation throughout the platform does not create any challenges. For programmatic traders at all levels, the platform is inviting. It is not intimidating. The overall reporting that is available is very helpful when analyzing campaigns and then using that data to make optimizations. The ease with which one can set up campaigns on certain channels or incorporate multiple channels within a singular campaign is wonderful. The ability to make bulk optimizations and/or edits helps to save time -- which we all need. I recommend this platform when looking for something user-friendly but powerful. **What do you dislike about Viant Technology?** I am a huge fan of the platform. However, I would like to be able to report on campaign and order level frequency. Those metrics are available within the campaign screen but in reporting for more granular analysis. In addition, as I have experienced with other platforms when new upgrades and updates are being rolled out, there are sometimes glitches in over-reporting of delivery. **What problems is Viant Technology solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to execute campaigns efficiently without using pixels or cookies. But to be honest you can say that about every platform that's out there with similar capabilities.
