Product is very easy to use, but also very powerful. Data is extremely valuable - we are saving real $$'s

Onboarding and training has been straight forward, with even the casual users in the business finding it easy to use for what they need.

Our CSM (Nicole) and procurement lead (Michael) are super knowledgeable in the product, always available to help and quick to turn things around.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

Platform could use a few more options for user/role configurations - getting visibility of contracts in a department requires someone to be assigned a power user, giving them visibility of all contracts, not just the ones they are responsible for.

Very collaborative approach. They’ll try to understand our challenges, priorities and sentiment about the vendor. 

research oriented. They’ll dive into their research database and inform discussions with us. 

Bring their experience dealing with the vendor or negotiator. It gives us a view into not just the policy and approach of the vendor, but also a view into the style of the specific negotiator on the other side.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

It would’ve been more valuable if vertice had insights into Indian vendors. Global vendors are good, but many of our providers are Indian companies. 

Also, in some episodes, it would’ve been good to see a sense of urgency from Vertice. As a startup, we operate at a certain pace, and expect that from our partners.

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Vertice acts like an extension of our procurement and IT team. They took ownership of our SaaS renewals, from analysis to vendor negotiations, and backed every recommendation with benchmark data. On key contracts like our construction management and HR systems, they secured double digit savings and, more importantly, better terms such as volume protections and the ability to reduce licenses mid term. Their team is structured, responsive and very comfortable dealing directly with vendors, which saved us a lot of internal time. The SaaS inventory and renewal calendar in their platform also gave us a much clearer view of our software stack and upcoming negotiations.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

The value you get is closely tied to timing, so for products where we had already signed multi year deals there was little Vertice could change until the next renewal. Onboarding required a fair amount of work on our side to collect contracts and usage details before they could start negotiating. Their commercial model is based on a percentage of SaaS spend, which is reasonable given the savings but still a non trivial commitment that you need to justify internally. The platform is useful, but the interface could be a bit more intuitive in some areas, especially for quickly drilling into contract level details.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vertice is helping us get control over a fragmented and fast growing SaaS stack. They centralize all our contracts, renewal dates and usage so we can see where we are overpaying or carrying redundant tools. Their team then steps in to negotiate renewals for our largest vendors, securing meaningful discounts and better terms such as price protections and flexible license counts. This is reducing our overall SaaS spend while also saving our internal team many hours of back and forth with vendors and freeing us to focus on core IT and construction priorities.

I like that Vertice has a professional and knowledgeable approach. They really know how to approach SaaS providers and what to use as leverage, which is backed by their understanding of benchmarking activities. Also, the dashboard is very intuitive and neat to understand.

I wouldn't say they don't work. The alignment on the stricter push to SaaS providers is needed from both sides - ours and Vertice. Not challenges, sometimes escalations might be quicker. Alignment earlier if escalation is necessary.

I really appreciate and enjoy working with Offer. I believe he is doing an excellent job and consistently brings a great deal of value to both me and the team here at OW every day.

I wish they could do much more, such as helping us with our contracts with major providers like AWS or GCP. It would also be beneficial if they worked with vendors beyond just software, expanding their support in other areas as well.

The benchmarking that is done is very usefull. So is the help with negociations.

The app itself. It is not that easy to understand and the training isn't adequate in my opinion. There should be a lot more time spent on the app to make sure the customer is getting what they need out of it.

It has saved us so much time managing new and current contracts. Our procurement manager is proactive and friendly, taking our constraints in consideration and ensuring we get the best deal. The platform is easy to use and the team have been great helping implement and customise the workflows as required. 
Having everything in one place has been a big help and means we are able to manage our spend and ensure we are using our softwares to maximise value.

Allocation of contract owners/managers could be more user friendly. 
Understanding different spend metrics took some time.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly saving us time when renewing or procuring softwares by acting as the middle man required to negotiate and finalise spend. Our procurement manager manages the process proactively which means I can focus on commercials rather than timelines/chasing relevant parties. The upcoming tasks and renewals also ensure we don't miss auto-renewal deadlines and we thoroughly review our spend proactively rather than constantly trying to catch up or miss out on better deals due to last minute deadlines.

Workflows are still being developed. For example, you can't cancel some workflow steps once initiated and you have to ask your account manager to do these.

Vertice has been a fantastic solution for helping us centralise, organise, and manage both our SaaS and non-SaaS contract spend. One of the biggest benefits is that they handle all standard vendor contracts on our behalf, freeing up our time to focus on the more strategic relationships internally.

The Vertice team are consistently helpful, proactive, and take a hands-on approach with our account. Their insight into vendor pricing and market benchmarks is invaluable — we’ve often benefited from better deals or been guided toward more cost-effective alternatives. Their “playbooks” and expert negotiation support have played a key role in securing favourable contract terms.

The platform itself includes great tools for managing workflows and renewal approvals, which brings structure and visibility to the whole process.

We are just starting to use Vértice, but I’m already very excited and satisfied with the software and the possibilities it opens up. From the very beginning, we’ve been able to identify potential savings, which is a huge plus. One of the aspects I appreciate the most is having all the supplier management unified and optimized in a single place. This centralization gives us better control and visibility, and it makes me feel confident about the impact Vértice will have on our operations moving forward. So far, the experience has been excellent, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how much more value we can unlock as we continue to grow with the platform.

The platform is fairly modern and intuitive, making it easy to manage contracts efficiently. One great feature is the automated notifications when contracts are up for renewal, which helps us stay on top of timelines.

What sets Vertice apart is the level of customer service. The procurement and contract management support we receive has been exceptional. We’ve had the pleasure of working with some great individuals at Vertice. Their knowledge, responsiveness, and support have been invaluable.

Some basic features are still missing, such as comprehensive API access. We’ve been informed it’s on the roadmap, but to my knowledge, it hasn’t been released yet.

Reporting capabilities are functional but limited. Without the ability to extract data using the API, we’re unable to generate aggregated reports or integrate contracts with other tools except what Vertice offer as out-the-box connectors, which can be a drawback for more advanced use cases.

Vertice eliminates the need to have an in-house procurement professional as well as having a centralized view of all SaaS contracts. This saves not only time in not having to negotiate with vendors, but also monetary savings with reduced yearly cost with our SaaS vendors and time spent in negotiating. Additionally, the dashboard is useful for pulling data on Vendor cost, contracts and end dates, meaning planning of SaaS from a service and cashflow perspective.

At this point nothing I can think of, looking forward to seeing what additional features they can add going forward.

The main advantage is the benchmarking they have, as thanks to the different clients they have, they can carry out a very precise comparison of the prices and purchasing conditions that suppliers offer us.

There is nothing in particular that I dislike, the only additional task is uploading documentation to their platform and keeping an eye on notifications through it. However, it is a user-friendly and simple platform to use.
