It runs on top of a tomcat server application that is a stable platform. ### 6. There are several instances we received some unreasonable charges for activity performed. ### 10. Vertex O series is much more complete than our Q series we use for some of our business. ### 12. Vertex has help us streamline our sales and use tax calculation as well as improve our tax compliance. Audits have been a breeze and we have reduced our tax exposure. In one of the large states we remit tax our error rate was .004% using Vertex and our most recent audit they chose to use our previous error rate (.004) to calculate the tax due, before Vertex our tax error rate was 30%. Vertex has save us time and effort during the audits. The product has allowed us to take the tax decision making out of the processors and into the hands of the tax experts. **What do you like best about Vertex?** I do have to worry about monitoring tax rate changes, these are processed each month **What do you dislike about Vertex?** It's no always user friendly to create tax assist rules **Recommendations to others considering Vertex:** Develop a better global solution. ### 13.
