Versium REACH Pros and Cons

What I like most about Versium is how excellent the UX is. It's extremely user-friendly and the website is well-designed. I enjoy using it compared to the other skip-tracing software I've used in the past because it also allows me to upload data without having to do too much scrubbing allowing a more efficient process for me. Small details like having our data come back in proper case is helpful too. The variety of data we can pull from each service available in Versium REACH is also note-worthy. Lastly, I love the customer support provided by Alex Murphy. He's always one message away, always willing to help, and responds promptly. Overall, I'm satisfied. If there's one thing I dislike, it would probably be the amount of numbers that Versium isn't able to skip trace and come out as blank. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Versium for consumer data appends for mobile phone numbers. The match rate is solid and the accuracy is very good. Interestingly, the alogorithm is able to find the right people or relatives even when the source file name is misspelled. It seems to use some fuzzy logic that has gotten me in contact with people my competitors cannot find. The value on the pre-buy credits and ability to do small batch appends are key. I also like the suppression lists. More expensive platforms don't offer that and make me buy records I have already bought unless I dedupe manually before append. Reach's API and SDK made it straightforward to pull data on thousands of targets very quickly. Going over on usage won't bankrupt you, because you're only charged based on credits that you use at the same rate. This probably isn't a fair comparison & solely reflective of my lack of skills as a programmer, but the API is noticeably slower than, say, Google's Maps API. Even with my developing programming skills I can run thousands of rows in a few minutes. The Reach API/SDK is probably doing a lot more & takes longer, but advanced techniques could likely be used to speed this up. The features that truly differentiate it are its top notch data technology capabilities. The insigts engines ensure a user friendly marketing process by making identity and matching a snap and by constantly updating their database.
