  ### 1. What once was is no longer

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

Versapay originally was a great product for us. It simplified our AR process and reduced the amount of checks we were receiving monthly by switching tenants to pay via ACH.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

We renewed out contract with them in summer of 2025. In December of 2026, we were notified about a mandatory upgrade that would need to be done. In early 2026, we were informed that there would be additional fees on top of what our contract stated. There are now additional requirements to setup a new entity. These requirements are essentially a full audit of your company. 

What was once a great product with easy onboarding, now has turned into a major pain point. We are a commercial real estate company and maybe other industries are different, but I recommend looking elsewhere if you are in CRE.

Versapay solved manually processing checks and syncing with our ERP to record rent payments.

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

When it works and you've found the right support person/team, it's a smoot troubleshooting experience. There are maybe like 2 great support specialists and if you get lucky and they picked up your case, you know you'll be in good hands. Or else you're looking at getting over 2 weeks or more to get your case resolved even if it's a small item.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

No account manager and nearly impossible to find the right contact for the right team to find the right resolution when you're already a customer. Inconsistencies with the documentations that different Versapay team tries to give out and then you're back and forth arguing with the Versapay team for following their documentation.

**What problems is Versapay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Versapay for our retail payment processing and accounts reconciliation for credit card payments. It works most of the time.

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

Couple of times I have observed that we are unable to remove a bank account on behalf of our customers which becomes a bit stressful for them. They have to disable the autopay, select another account and then delete the primary account. This process can be made more efficient.

**What problems is Versapay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We came across an issue with the autopay feature for more than 300 customers on 09/01/2025 where the payments were not processed as scheduled. The issue was resolved on an urgent basis which was highly appreciated.

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

VersaPay integreates seamlessly into Netsuite in a way that works perfect for our existing workflow. Having the ability to take customer payments right in Netsuite as well as give clients the option to pay through the link on an invoice reduces the amount of time it has taken to get customer payments after an invoice is generated. We use VersaPay every day, and it's become essential to accepting credit cards in various forms from our clients.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

Sometimes we have clients pay for multiple invoices at once with one credit card, but the invoices are in different accounts on Netsuite. I would prefer if there were a way to use that credit card for these two invoices on Netsuite, instead of needing to use the Versapay Gateway.

**What problems is Versapay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a third party credit card processor before, and it required us to manually copy authorization codes from transactions over into Netsuite which occasionally created issues when someone made an erorr. VersaPay has helped reduce the amount of human error involved in processing transactions.

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

Integrates well with Netsuite.   We've been able to use it daily  with many customers to consolidate our AR activity.  Unlike other payment processors, it's easy to get someone to answer a support ticket and we feel like a valued customer, not just another number.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

Initial implementation was more difficult than we expected and we ran into a number of hurdles getting users with the correct access, finding the customer support less than totally accomodating.  The initial outreach to customers to move them to this platform was not as streamlined as it could be and represents an area for growth for the company.

**What problems is Versapay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our embedded payment processor to collect payments on all of our B2B invoicing activity. There are a number of AR features that we have found to be very helpful and a nice upgrade from our previous solution.

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

We use Versapay to automate our invoicing process with a paylink button that they added to our invoices to get paid faster. This is very helpful to get instant payments from our customers.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

We had occasional broken links on the payment button so we had to contact Versapay to fix the link. They were quick to responsd which we appreciated. But the last time they fixed the link, it changed our template and we can no longer edit it in "what you see is what you get" mode or the link will break anytime we make a change in this mode...so when we customize our invoice template, it has to be in html mode which is challenging.

We use Versapay to get instant payment on invoices which is much needed.

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

We always faced challenges with customers saying they never received our invoice by email. With VersaPays transparent system we can see when our customers have opened and viewed their invoice so “the lost in cyberspace” to delay payment can never be used again!!

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

Unfortunalty I cannot see any downside to using Versapay. I would be making something up if I had to complete this section. Versapay says what it does and does what it says.... it's that simple!

**What problems is Versapay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using the Versapays platform has allowed us to offer transportation to customers that do not have credit terms. To have our customers pre-pay for their shipments is now quick and easy! This even allows us to pick-up shipments same day because of the transparency and notification emails sent out to all by their automated system.

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

Our team loves how Versapay has streamlined our AR management, all through one easy-to-use and easy-to-learn platform. We are able to easily manage payment application, send customer statements, and collect credit card and ACH payment. Our customers love the ability to see their acocunts in real time, and this increased visibility has significantly improved our DSO and days to pay. We've also found the additional reporting and visibility extremely helpful during our annual audit, as records and reports are a breeze to retieve. Versapay has certainly improved our team efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

Other than small UI changes (ability to filter to exclude rather than include, and some visual changes), we are satisfied with the Versapay product. Down the line additional reporting features would be great, but we are able to accomplish what we need with the stock options.

**What problems is Versapay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We love that customers can direct how their payments are applied, and can make partial payments. We love that the CashApp has AI features which automatically match payments to customers and invoices. This saves us so much manual effort with applying payments, and reduces errors. Further, customers can see their payments applied in real time.

Customer transperancy. Automated Dunning letters.

Numerous portals to do reconcilation vs on portal to reconile transactions. Lack of timely customer service support. No client relations manager assigned to our account. Cash app and C-AR Versapay teams do not seem to know what the other dept is doing. Implementation was challenging for C-AR with notices being released to customers in error by Versapy.  System does not always communicate w/NetSuite in all scenarios.

Reconciilations, payments not automatically processing even through the authorizations have been approved so far still no resolution. Has been a week since we opened the ticket.

Versapay was easy to set up and connect to NetSuite. We were also able to quickly set up a payment link on invoices and statements so customers can pay directly through the link. Our Implemenation person was great and easy to work with. This has been an easy system that we can set up and let run without too much additional effort or support needed.

Their support after launch can be a little slow.

I needed a customer payment option to use along with NetSuite so customers can pay quickly through their invoice or statement.

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

The portal is great and allows payments to be made online.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

Versapay’s implementation has been a nightmare. Their team doesn’t seem to know how to deploy their product properly. Expect a year of bugs with no fixes. When you report issues, it takes 2-3 months to get any kind of resolution. Customer service is basically non-existent; they just pass tickets around with no one taking responsibility. We’ve spent manny hours trying to make Versapay work, and honestly, it would have been better to pay higher fees elsewhere than deal with the headaches and staff time needed to keep it running. You could probably process payments manually faster than trying to get Versapay to work. The lack of ownership and accountability from their team is frustrating.

**What problems is Versapay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The goal behind Versapay was to implement credit card processing via Netsuite. They did not solve this problem.

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

I love the fact that Versapay works well with NetSuite!  We converted to Versapay, once I found out that it was built for NetSuite. We use the system everday, for all of our payment processing needs.  Processing payments has become a much simpler process since we changed our processing system.  The implementation process was quick and seamless.  The team at Versapay connected to our NetSuite and worked behind the scenes, which made it nice that we had zero downtime while they completed the process.  Lastly, their Customer Support is very friendly and eager to help.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

I have not found anything that I dislike about using the Versapay system.

We recieve payments from our Customers faster.  We send them a quick link and then the payment is sent to our bank account.

Versapay is a great tool that we can offer to our customers enabling them quick access to their account statement, invoices and allows them to pay all in one place.  Overall easy to use and Implementaion was also simplefied by the great Versapay team.

Previously was the turnover in the staff, which seems to have been resolved the past year.

Gives customers access to their invoices. They can pay on line, and setup auto pay features.

easy to request assistance. Lots of reports. Implementation was super easy

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

It takes to long to get any changes you request or get issues resolved. I was simply wanting the invoice number added to the receipt and we are on week 4 of getting this done. I had another issue and again it took 4 weeks to finally get a resolution. Needs better/faster customer support.

Needing the invoice number added to the receipt. This will make it to find what invoice is paid by a charge.
Issuing refunds could be made easier.

Not much to dislike. The payment imports are slightly manual but may just be a nuance of our ERP.

There are some improvements that can be made to better suit the needs to of businesses using Business Central. Such as customers taking discounts, and deposits that need to be applied toa GL account.

This App is so easy to use! Snapping photos of front and back of checks is a breeze.  I no longer have to find the closest Company Bank and stress over making the deposit on time to release orders for delivery.

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

I implemented Versa Pay (Dade Systems) last Year within Day Pitney. We were able to add all the bank accounts that we receive wires/ACH Payments into, and as of today, we are currently hitting a 35% automation mark with any payments that come in. The automation through Vera Pay has increased Team production and allowed the Team to focus on other pressing items.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

The only complaint, which is not necessarily a complaint, is that every time we thought we had the process perfect, another small obstacle came up that we needed to address. For example, the Imports from Versa Pay were separating (1) wire into multiple transaction(s), because that wire had multiple invoices being paid. This was a tedious task to get fixed, but since it was complete, they system is running smoothly.

The system has taken away all the Manual aspects of applying Cash that is received and turned into more of an automated process. Also allows us to do daily reporting at a higher level.

**What do you like best about Versapay?**

I love that VersaPay is linked to our ERP system to invite clients and manage client contact changes timely. As well as offers our clients the ability to pay by ACH or credit card.  VersaPay enables us to become PCI compliant, which is HUGE!

One of the main perks of VersaPay is that the AR invoice is closed "real-time" in our ERP system when a client makes a payment. Also, clients can access VersaPay 24/7 to make payments, upload invoices, and review their aging balance.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

I cannot think of anything I dislike about the new VersaPay platform.  The older platform caused some barriers in presenting invoices to clients timely. However, this barrier was removed when we migrated to the new platform.

**What problems is Versapay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VersaPay automated our company's payment posting process, saving us many hours a month. Our DSO has been reduced significantly, and VersaPay also supports scheduling monthly statement reminders to send to clients on specific days outstanding.

The user-friendly online portal allows tenants to access real-time account balances 24/7 and manage their cash application process. The monthly rent statement and daily invoice distributions are easy and fast. When tenants have billing questions, they can communicate them directly within the platform. The auto-pay option makes monthly rent payment processing easier for our tenants, and at the same time, is decreasing the workload of our AR team. The support team is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The consistent collaboration with our client success manager ensures that we maximize the benefits from Versapay.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

There used to be a delay in the communication between Versapay and our accounting software. This has been resolved with the implementation of a new connector.

Versapay helped us move away from processing time-consuming paper checks. Due to Versapay’s easy only payment option, more tenants are paying online which means less time is spent applying cash receipts to tenants accounts.

Versapay automates all of the work of an AR Collector on a daily basis. This includes payments, and it eliminates a  lot of unnecessary phone calls that we receive. It also sends invoices on a daily basis and sends us rejection notices of emails and invoices that do not get sent. This helps us tremendously in reducing our DSO. It is also a very user friendly system.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

The reporting that Versapay produces could be a bit more detail oriented. One more thing, if a credit card gets declined in the Versapay system, it should be be able to process it a second time instead of it having to be done manually.

Versapay is super user-friendly. The onboarding was very easy and I would recommend this service to anyone using NetSuite. It has make our credit card processing for customers very smooth.

The only think I do not like about Versapay is that I do not get accurate information on the receipts verses the sales order from NetSuite. When it charges shipping in Netsuite it calls it Tax in Versapay which could be confusing for customers if I ever need to send them a receipt.

Versapay is our credit card processing solution for NetSuite. It integrates perfectly with that platform and helps us to be more productive and accurate when processing payments.

We need a better way to secure our customer credit card and bank card information. Versapya allows us to tokenize card information to increase security. Versapay also gave us the ability to email invoices and statements to customers so they have the option to pay online.

Inital set-up was costly because of the changes that need to be made to Netsuite forms and workflow.

We needed to secure our credit card information to comply with industry regulations.  Versapay allows us to tokenize credit cards and bank information. We are also able to offer online payment to customers where before we had a very manual, paper-intensive process.

I love that customers can have visibility and access to their invoices and can pay invoices directly as well as set up recurring payments. I love the ease of sending past-due reminders and the ability to connect with customers in the portal.

I wish there were better dunning notices to set up messages for certain past-due buckets. I also wish there was a way to see if there were errors with syncing invoices.

Versapay has stopped the emails asking for copies of invoices and statements. Also stopped the calls of me making credit card payments for the customer. Customers are now self sufficient taking these responsibilities off of my plate.

Internal reporting is limited to 10k rows. this makes it a challenge to get all historical data. Refund functionality is by payment and not invoice so you cannot do partial refund.

Reduction in the number of customer phone calls to process payments. Flexibility to configure customers for targetted notification versus a manual alert. Disputes can be directed to the appropriate division for investigation.

Versapay implementation team and customer representatives were very unprofessional in communication, made promises for functionality that did not actually work, and did not communicate timelines or ask necessary questions to make sure the service was implemented correctly. We will be switching as soon as possible.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

Product is not intuitive or user-friendly, took much longer to implement and no follow-up when deadlines were missed, and told that invoices would generate in the system automatically for booking convenience fees, but now have to manually enter them because they are not generated automatically. There are much better payment processors out there and my biggest complaint is the poor communication.

Online payment processing but has created lots of manual work on the back end instead of automating payments in our accounting software as expected.

In past year, transparency of deposits/report became terrible.  VersaPay stopped notifying our company of NSFs.  This amounted to 100K in payments that were never received.  Since VPs reporting was underperforming, it was nearly impossible to reconcile these issues.  Reached out to Customer Service with questions but VP didn't provide any help to fix.

The driver for our implementation was using Remote Deposit Capture through mobile.  With centralized deposit and settlement through head office, this tool significantly reduced inbound courier costs by thousands of dollars per month, as we no longer needed to send cheques to head office.  Additionally, Sales Representatives did not have to go out of their way to courier or bank branches which amounted to hundreds of hours of selling time saved.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

I honestly wish I had found Dade sooner.  Going the traditional route and inquiring through the banks was unsuccessful, despite almost two years of pilot projects.  If I had known a full suite of services through Dade were available, I would have saved a lot of lost time and money.

**Recommendations to others considering Versapay:**

If you're thinking about A/R automation, speak to Dade.  They were able to meet all of our individual needs and our ROI was realized within the first 60 days.  Their implementation and training team were first class.  When customization was requested, Dade's team of developers were able to make necessary changes swiftly and reasonably priced.  I strongly recommend Dade to any company that wants to automate their A/R collection and settlement processes.

As we partnered with Dade, we transformed our process from one that was entirely manual to a highly automated process.  This increase in automation resulted in a significant reduction of time required for the administrative team and allowed us to defer new hires and to be able to diversify the tasks assigned to them.

We've been using DadePay for over five years.  We receive payments faster by having customers pay by ACH on the Customer Portal and both ACH and check payments are applied to customer accounts much more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Versapay?**

For any issues we've had with DadeSystems, they have listened to us and provided a solution.   There are some limits on how much can be displayed to a customer on the Customer Portal, primarily to keep the user interface clean.

With the Customer Portal, we went from 10% to 75% of our customer payments coming in by ACH.  All ACH payments and most customer checks get applied to customer accounts without touching them.
