The web portal interface isn't much better. Based in Ireland, the developers frequently make unintuitive changes without notifying customers when those changes go live. **Recommendations to others considering Verizon Connect:** Make sure you do your due diligence and research multiple ELD providers. Verizon Connect has a lot of drawbacks. I have not been able to use this because I have no equipment yet being charged anyways **What do you dislike about Verizon Connect?** I used Verizon Network Fleet. It was great. I signed a contract with Verizon Direct Connect. This was back in March. I have yet to receive equipment, and I'm being billed monthly,. I keep getting the runaround. A salesperson calls to see if I'm happy with everything. I tell them I have not received any equipment. They tell me they will check into it. Then a month later, I receive an email asking year, make, and model number of the 13 vehicles I wish to add. Then a month after I provide that information, I reach out to the salesperson, and now he wants the same information with the VIN numbers for each vehicle. They never asked that in the first place. They said it was to make sure they sent the correct devices. Hog Wash. They should be just plugged into the vehicle computer as all other GPS applications like this should be. You would think with the Verizon name on it, and the service would be excellent like my cell phone customer service is. Please do not use them. I feel like I have been scammed. I want out of my contract to move on. By the way, we are still using Verizon Network Fleet and being billed by them. That's OK cause I'm still using their software. **What problems is Verizon Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have tried to reach out to Verizon Connect for months to get my equipment. I will turn it over to my legal department for some restitution and get out of our contract. I have never had an experience like this in 20 years working for my company with a vendor. ### 18. There wasn't any support. We tried numerous times to have someone come out and fix the equipment with zero results. **What do you dislike about Verizon Connect?** All of it. Again, no customer service or support. **Recommendations to others considering Verizon Connect:** I would recommend going with another company and product. This is not a good product for Verizon to be connected with. We have had our wireless account with Verizon for 20 some years and they are fantastic but this is not their niche. **What problems is Verizon Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** None. We canceled our account due to zero support or knowledge from Verizon Connect. ### 35.
