**What do you like best about Verito?**

I've used Verito to host my Drake Tax Software for the past 5 years. Whenever I've had a problem (which I can count on one hand), Verito's response is unbelievably fast. I call support - wait time is < 5 minutes. And my problem is usually resolved within the hour. As a solo practitioner, I work various hours. I've called off season on the weekends - someone proficient always answers the phone and resolves my issue.
And for me, the monthly pricing is very reasonable. I pay slightly less than $150 per month.

I can't think of any downsides of using Verito.

Verito is almost 100% available with almost no downtime. Verito is very secure and has a great tech department. Assistance with any updates or issues are resolved very quickly.

We never have had an issue that could not be resolved. We have nothing to dislike concerning Verito.

Allows remote work from anywhere.
Office team can send sensitive information securely.

**What do you like best about Verito?**

We use Verito for remote hosting of Drake Tax software.  It always works, I've never had a problem logging in.  The support is fantastic.  Anytime I've had an issue with Drake Tax software, Verito support has fixed my issue within minutes.
The price is very reasonable for our 2-person CPA firm, and it's easy to use.  
Their customer support in getting us set up was painless and quick.

**What do you dislike about Verito?**

None, it's all been positive.  Have not had any negative experience with it.

**What problems is Verito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hosting Drake Tax on Verito allows us to have multiple users accessing Drake without the need for a dedicated in-house server.

**What do you like best about Verito?**

I have been a customer of Verito for 7-8 years. Their support is excellent. Support requests are answered immediately, and they take care of any issues immediately. I have never had a bad support experience for our server. The server speeds are great, and the uptime is almost 100%. When we first onboarded, the experience was very easy and it did not take a lot of my time.

**What do you dislike about Verito?**

I really don't have any downsides for a firm our size (5 users). Sometimes there is a slight language barrier if we have verbal contact, but that is almost never so it is not really an issue.

**What problems is Verito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We did not have to spend a lot of up-front money buying a server and finding a team to manage it. We are all able to access our programs and it makes the process quite simple.

Verito links all of our tax preparers to our tax software and we can change our plan depending on the time of year and demand. This helps us run a cost effective company that meets the demands for our clients year round. Customer service is also very responsive to our needs.

Sometimes updates not going through prevent us from logging in. This can be frustrating but doesn't happen too often.

Most of our work is done remotely so Verito links our employees from wherever their home base is to our tax software.

We switched to Verito from RightWorks and immediately saved about $100 per month. We find that Verito's support is quite good -- we get responses within the same business day!

Verito had a really helpful white glove onboarding, that made the switching process very hands off. I am a happy firm owner!

**What do you dislike about Verito?**

We have had a few issues with Drake automatic updates, where they weren't working in Verito. We put in tickets, and got immediate responses. A bit of a pain, as we have to email support about this quite frequently. But, with same day responses it normally gets resolved very quickly.

Verito is allowing our fully remote team to access a desktop-based application as if it were in the cloud. Our work is saved and backed up!

Super fast response to IT issues.  They typically resolve software issues before we have to contact them.

The IT ticket system is a little hard to remember how to use since I don't have to go in very often

They provide access to my tax software to all my staff in one place.  It is very easy to remove and add people as staff changes.  They keep my data safe and protected.  They even have IRS compliance WASP, so I don't have to think about it.

We host our tax and accounting software on Verito for about 2 years already. no major issues at all, not afraid of losing connections or losing data especially during busy tax season.  IT support is responding at very quick time. always address our concerns.  And they have a very reasonable, compositable price.

The onboarding process with Verito was exceptionally fast and straightforward. They clearly communicated what was needed and promptly provided everything required to access our server. Their support team is readily available at any time, ensuring quick issue resolution. Additionally, the ability to swiftly add users and upgrade RAM and storage within minutes or hours is highly beneficial. Verito's rapid responsiveness allows our team to concentrate effectively on accounting tasks and tax filings without the distraction of managing server infrastructure. Server performance is typically excellent, benefiting further from high-speed internet, and the pricing transparency on their website appears competitive.

**What do you dislike about Verito?**

Occasional server slowdowns and minor issues have occurred, typically linked to Microsoft, although these were resolved promptly by Verito's support. Initially, I wasn't fully aware that backups were only retained for 30 days, which resulted in losing some files due to a software issue; now, I manage additional backups independently. While upgrading RAM monthly isn't particularly cheap, the improved speed ultimately benefits productivity, making the extra cost worthwhile.

Verito solves the challenge of server management by providing reliable, cloud-based hosting, which frees my team from handling IT infrastructure tasks. This significantly increases our productivity by allowing us to focus solely on accounting and tax preparation responsibilities. Verito is my first cloud experience.  It has been a very easy transfer.  They are prompt in helping me with any problems I may encounter.  When I email them with questions they are quick to respond.  I don't mean 24 hours it is usually less than 4 hours response time.  I use the programs I have on Verito daily.  It seems to integrate well with the tax software I use.

**What do you dislike about Verito?**

The only real problem I have had is when I add or change users.  The only reason for the problem is that I need to get them involved when that happens.  It would be easier if I could do it myself but then I see it as a great protection feature.

**What problems is Verito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work from several locations.  Verito allows me to move from one place to another and have all the information I need as up to date as possible.  In addition, if another person has updates for files I can review them from a different location.

Verito is very responsive to any questions or issues. We have had zero downtime with Verito.  I have great peace of mind not worrying about downtime and unresolved hosting issues. The customer support has been fantastic!

I wish I could afford it for my whole team all year. I have everyone on during tax season and that reduce it to just those working on extensions for the remainder of the year.

Verito is amazing when it comes to customer service. There are times when it is not been 15 minutes from the time I send an email with my issue and my issue being resolved. This comes in very handy in the heavy tax season. The firm and I use Verito every day and the security features are great, it is easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about Verito?**

I do not dislike Verito. The security is top notch and the customer service is superb.

**What problems is Verito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, we are having issues with one associate in the firm not being able to access QuickBooks. We called Verito and after a series of reviews it was determined that the block was not from Verito itself but the website that is cause the block. Verito offered to jump on a three-way call with the website to come up with a solution.

My accounting firm has been with Verito for almost 5 years.  From setup to continued administration the customer service is prompt and kind.  We've expanded our team over the years and it's a seamless easy request every time.  I highly recommend Verito's service and remain grateful for the headache they've removed from our operations!

**What do you dislike about Verito?**

On very limited occasions we've had access issues.  The access issues occurred during tax season which was frustrating, but customer service was responsive with updates.

**What problems is Verito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hosting ProSeries fro us has been a godsend.  In the past when hosting ourselves we had many issues with corrupted updates, but those issues have been eliminated by Verito.

The best thing about Verito is that it just works. My prior cloud hosting service constantly had issues, customer support was hard to get in touch with and took a long time to fix any issues. Verito has been great. I've been using them almost 2yrs and have had very few issues. If any issue does come up the customer support team is very easy to get in touch with and have always fixed problems or helped me troubleshoot issues with my tax software quickly. 

Highly recommend.

The cost is reasonable and the support team is very responsive.

Sometimes there is a bit of a language barrier with support personnel that have very strong accents.

**What problems is Verito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Verito platform is much more stable than the Azure platform that Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax began using a couple of years ago.  The cost is similar to the Azure platform but they also solve additional issues for our small firm.

The only dislike I have had is very minor.  The customer service sometimes talks quietly which can be difficult while understanding an accent that is different from what I am used to.

The best part about Verito is that it works, and in my case, 100% of the time.  I have had no issues with downtime or gaining access.  Another major advantage is Verito's customer service.  They respond quickly and provide a solution immediately.  You never get the run around or have to contact them again to resolve a problem.

**What do you dislike about Verito?**

I see no downsides to Verito.  I switched to Verito from another cloud hosting environment because of security issues, and being locked out of my files for weeks, which directly impacted our business revenue.  I have zero issues with Verito's security safeguards.

**What problems is Verito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It hosts most of our applications and files.  Verito is taking care of most of our IT related expenses such as servers, networks, IT consulting services, and other basic requirements for a small office.  It allows us to focus on our core business without having to manage these items on a daily basis.  It benefits us from a cost perspective and knowing we have reliable access to our data.

There are issues with the scanning features- our tax digital file cabinet will sometimes lock up when we are trying to scan documents into it.

Great quality. Easy to use. Minimal downtime, if ever. Works great for us having remote employees that need to access the same desktop product (our tax program and QuickBooks). Their support is top notch and quick to respond to issues or simply adding new users. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a secure cloud hosting provider.

With all of our users, space requirements, and applications needed, the cost isn't cheap. It would be nice if we had the ability to add or terminate users on our own as well so we don't have to reach out to them for each one. I would like to be able to see a list of all users too which I don't see in my account currently. With as many people as we have and the seasonality of our business, it's hard to keep track of everyone and making sure users have it when they need it and don't when they don't.

We have multiple people that work in a remote capacity that need to access our desktop tax program and QuickBooks program. This helps us to accomplish that goal.

**What do you like best about Verito?**

My firm has been using Verito daily for several years and couldn't be happier. The initial setup was quite simple. 

We host tax software and QuickBooks software on the site so that remote employees can share data. We've never had any issues with connectivity, and the support is phenomenal. When I submit a ticket (usually to add or update software), even if I mark the ticket as low priority, I always get a reply back within 15 minutes -- and normally even faster than that. They also have a phone number right on the screen if there would be an urgent issue. My colleagues have run into issues with some of Verito's competitors during the last few tax seasons, but we haven't missed a beat.

**What do you dislike about Verito?**

The only minor drawback is that I can't install software updates myself. This is only an issue with QuickBooks, but I simply submit a trouble ticket and they install the update for me overnight. Only once has a pending update prevented me from opening the program, and in that case I was able to call and have the update installed immediately.

We have remote employees, and having software hosted on Verito allows us all to share data easily and in real time.

The only downside I can think of might actually be software related but sometimes Drake doesn't allow me to "request acknowledgements", the program will freeze. Vertito will fix the issue very quick but I wish something would be done daily to my provide/software so that I didn't have to ask everytime I had the issue.

I now have a secure portal to host my tax software and can have remote team members at any time.

Secure hosting platform. If there are ever any issues, I call, someone answers immediately and my problem is resolved in a few minutes or less. My requests for changes/additions are easy and seamless as well. I have had no issues with Verito that weren't remedied quickly and easily. Customer Service is very responsive and set up was a breeze as well.

I don't think there is a downside to it. At times I get locked out, but that is a security measure and again, with a quick call (under 2 minutes) I am back up and running. No complaints here.

Our prior cloud provider had limited programs they would allow us to use and they ran into issues where the whole cloud would be down for hours at a time because they didn't have enough capacity.   This has been seamless with no real down time.
