The biggest downfall with Vena is the fact that they have been behind the 8 ball in regards to offering specific products/services for banking and credit union clients. The best part about VENA is the versatility of the implementation of the solution. The software can be adapted to any type of company even to the ones with the most complex behaviours. The implementation is easy the easiest is your company complexity but compared to other sistems it has a very nice integration with your already existing excel models, so it is very user friendly. The biggest issue about VENA from my point of view is the lack of some data operations and computational efficiency. Sometimes you feel limited in what you can do. The most features I like in Vena is their flexible working methodology like If I created a template and I am able to use it for other reports where we want to replicate them.

I love how easy it is to take any of my spreadsheets and integrate them into Vena. Was able to simplify a lot of spreadsheets but bringing the data in via the cloud rather than dropping it from our accounting system. We have also used it for employee reviews bringing in significant amounts of data and making life easier for our operations team. We have our financial reporting moved to vena and can update it on demand to have instant access to our statments and any reports we have built. Cut down month end close time significantly. No major downsides. The user interface could be a little better. We primarily use it for budget and rollling it over from year to year could be better but the key is setting up everything right at the beginning.
