I love that Velixo has transformed our Acumatica from a static program into something dynamic, making every aspect of our jobs easier. It's great that I can refresh files to get accurate data without having to export multiple reports to Excel individually. I particularly appreciate that our templates auto-refresh so nothing needs to be exported from Acumatica. The writebacks are extremely valuable too, as they save us a lot of manual entry time. The setup was quite simple as well—I had a working model within a day and felt proficient within a few weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a GL template that could be set up in Acumatica that would automatically make updates to the Excel files. For example, when we added the project number and quantity columns to Acumatica, they were not automatically added to every instance of a GL in Excel. We had to manually add the two columns to approximately 50 files. I wish it would connect to Microsoft Dynamics CRM too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thank you for sharing your experience with Velixo. We're glad to hear that it has saved you significant time in your budgeting process and has provided valuable features for creating financial statements and stats.
Regarding your dynamic account requirement - Velixo includes functions that dynamically list accounts so that when new accounts are added in your ERP, they are automattically listed in your reports. You can also use range expressions (e.g. 10000:199999 to return accounts from 10000 to 199999) for the Account argument of any of our functions.
If your reports do not automatically add your new accounts, it is likely account codes were manually entered in the report instead of using a dynamic function. Your reports would need updates to reduce your maintenance. You can contact us at customersuccess @ velixo.com if you need help.
Regarding Generic Inquiries. You will be very happy to hear that we have released a visual Query Builder (available in Velixo ribbon, under Insert > Query for Velixo NX users). The Query Builder lets you visually select tables and columns from any object of Acumatica. They query Acumatica directly, and not through Generic Inquiries. Just note that Generic Inquiries would still be needed for the more complex queries with advanced relationships or calculations. Please try it out, this should solve your usuability and self-service requirement.
Many thanks for your detailed review and feedback! And I hope the above helps.
