VEED Pros and Cons

I like how easy the platform is to use. It has the basic video editing tools, like croping video clips, adding transitions and titles but also included stickers, GIFs, and really nice (and really good) AI tools for taking out awkard pauses, or "uhhmms" in a video. I really appreciate the audio cleaning feature and the subtitle option. The new BETA feature, Clip, is a great addition too. It saves me from needing another subscription to create clips from long-form videos for social media. While it might not match the quality of specialized tools, it gets the job done. Plus, I can easily resize videos to fit social media dimensions and use an overlay to ensure everything is visible. The brand kit and available audio options are also great. The beta version of the clips could use some enhancements. The zoom is excessive, and the image quality remains poor even with 4K video.

The audio library, featuring music and sound effects, is decent, but you need to know exactly what you're looking for, like "woosh" or "ding," since there's no explore feature or list of popular sounds.

Uploading or downloading 2-hour 4K videos can take a very long time.

What I most thought was helpful about veed is that and actually edits and the narrator sticks with the script and everything the ball could actually make the video correlate with the script that it's given. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the amount of time i save over After Effects/premiere is unbelievable. love that i can give it a script and it will generate with stock footage that is actually pretty good, and then i can easily maniuplate and replace content. Brand features are nice. I use it heavily, nearly every day. I havent run into any limits yet, though i dont use the AI avatars or custom voice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There needs to be a better way to create looped audio/video from short segments and have a way to blur/transition them so the motion stays fluid. Think still shots with moving cloud elements. I dont want jumps in the video or audio at the loop point. Right now im fixing this with multiple overlapping layers and opacity tricks, but I feel like you could solve this with a checkbox Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's really such an easy platform to use for editing simple videos. They're constantly adding new cool features, and it's becoming easier and easier to create great videos.

With the new features sometimes the platform can bug a little bit, which is normal for newer features.

It's really good for all the basic things you want to do with videos, but if you want to create more ad-hoc animations, you'd still have to use it in combination with another software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First time I used VEED was because I need to put some subtitles and it worked perfectly. I used the mobile app and it was easy-peasy.

After that, I discovered VEED web version and from the first moment I was amazed. No need to look for documentation or learn how to use the tool. It's super intuitive and has all the features I need to edit my videos.

I use it for more than 8 hours in a row and the editor doesn't crash. The project was still opened and creating savepoints often in an automatic way, which I love it! After those hours, it's true I got a message of the page asking me if I wanted to wait or close the browser. I chose waiting and in less than a minute everything got back to normal. Videos of more than 30 minutes, editing them for more than 8 hours and only one error message at the end.. I love it!

It's now my tool of reference for any video editing apart from that experience for two other reasons: they keep improving it with AI (some of them still in beta) so it's super adapted for the needs of the real world and because of the customer support. Super nice and effective when I've asked them anything.

So, I'm totally in. It's easy to just open the browser and start editing. It even has templates, that make even faster to implement any idea or project! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'd love to have more options to use it from my mobile. The mobile app is just for subtitles and sometimes I'd love to edit my videos on the go; but well, maybe it's just a matter of time and in the meantime, the web version works great.

Another improvement I'd love to see is a desktop app, so I could use it without internet (in planes, trains, etc); but again, I can live without those two because I really enjoy the process of editing with their current web version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how many different styles of there are for content. There is also a lot of editing control over each creative tool you use. For example, you can generate subtitles with a ton of different caption designs and on top of that, you can add auto generated emojis and change colors. It really allows you to create your own style. The only downside to VEED in my experience would be to have another pass through for the subtitles to potentially correct some mistakes. I normally only do 60 second or less clips for subtitles however, I did a 7 minute long video to send some leads and manually going through to find any mistakes was a pain. I love'd how easy it was to use and jump into as a newer editor. We use VEED every day and enjoy it's features. It's recent update with the overlays for socials is fantastic integration to help me know exactly what the end product is going to look like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Me encanta todas las opciones y herramientas que ofrece, destaco mucho sus herramientas de IA, en donde encontramos muchas formas de crear y facilitar la edición de video. Podemos encontrar como son herramientas muy utilez y valiosas para creadores de contenido o incluso para la edicion de videos de alguna empresa, con una interfaz muy facil de entender y muy intuitiva. Realmente utilizo VEED todos los dias con la herramienta de texto a video con IA, en donde integra facilmente el texto que le menciono y lo combierte de una manera espectacular en video, aparte de implementar subtitulos grandiosos. I love the drag and drop, easy to use workspace. I'm used to Adobe Premier Pro for everythig video, and it was a breeze bringing in my edited video into VEED to auto-generate and stylize captions! With very minor tweaking, and within a matter of minutes I went from a boring video to a captivating social media clip! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
