## Vbrick Reviews
  ### 1. Vbrick is about Productivity and Decision-making through Regular Video Conferences and Events

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elchin N. | Accounting Specialist, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

What I like about Vbrick is that it's easy to use the platform and allows us to host live video events, webinars, and municipal meetings, allowing all members of our team to easily join from their seats

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

What I don't like is that we have to wait a while to allow our requests

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefit of Vbrick is that we can host regular video conferences and events that improve our productivity and decision-making processes. This will help us overcome the barriers to communication and cooperation that arise from the presence of teams located in different parts of the world

  ### 2. An excellent solution for corporate streaming

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

What I like most about vbrick is the security and compatibility with all devices. It has a simple interface for both the viewer and the administrator.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

What I would like is for the interface to be a bit more customizable and able to adjust to the needs of each event conducted by the platform. The integration with Webex is limited.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

vbrick for the moment solves our internal massive events.

  ### 3. An Excellent Solution for Large Team Gatherings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake T. | Systems Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

We found VBrick Rev when searching for a product that could handle streaming live media to large audiences, without hitting our VPN for offsite users and without using our Internet circuits for onsite users. Cloud Rev combined with the on-prem DME servers elegantly solves this problem.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

We've had occasional issues with recordings showing up corrupted, which is only an issue if we don't have a backup recording from another source. Still, it would be nice not to have to worry about it as much.

**Recommendations to others considering Vbrick:**

Be prepared to do a little setup if you plan to utilize the DME on-prem streaming functionality.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've decreased per-meeting Internet and Webex licensing costs on our large gatherings, and we've also gained the secondary benefit of having an internal YouTube-like video hosting solution for our employees.

  ### 4. VBrick REV Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

I like the ability to have a secure environment where videos can be shared internally based on many different criteria, the ability to also share videos publically, and their ability to offload all video traffic to on-prem secure servers so that the load doesn't impact the internet speed.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

I wish there were more public capabilities: 1) the ability to securely share videos with clients outside the company. 2) the ability to embed videos directly into social media platforms. As of right now you can only embed a thumbnail, which when clicked, brings you outside the social media platform and opens a REV page to view the video.

I also wish they had more webinar capabilities. I would like to ability to turn off the video and only use presentation and audio webinars. This would allow them to compete with other platforms like Zoom and Webex.

Their prices for cloud storage are very high, and they don't have a built-in abilty to archive or store our content on our own servers. We are currently building some customized features to accommodate these features.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VBrick has allowed us to store all of our videos in one place, share our videos on our public facing website, but most importantly allowed us to securely share our videos internally.

  ### 5. A most reliable and secure video archive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob D. | Manager of AV Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

We like the security and all-device compatibility.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

We would really like to see the added functionality of automated Zoom recording.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Confidentiality is paramount for our videos and Vbrick is the most secure, HIPAA-compliant service available.

  ### 6. Great VOD solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

Vbrick helps us share video content through the country without having to host it ourselves.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

The lack of a tv interface for VOD content seems the about the only thing that would improve it for our use.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been able to have multiple users upload directly into vbrick which helps us keep have minimal hands on when it comes to user access and content uploading. The benefits allow us to cut out a middle man.

  ### 7. Simple and powerful solution for today's Video needs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric M. | Enterprise Solutions Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

VBrick has a straightforward interface for both the viewer and administrator. Its cross-platform and intelligent streaming allows all consumers, regardless of location and device to receive live and on-demand video sessions.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

I've been a customer for six years. In the early years, we experienced a few interface issues. These were either resolved by a quick call to VBrick support or an update from their development team.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many streams coming for different platforms, servers, solutions, and consumers. With the Vbrick platform, we can easily manage these streams regardless of the format and distribute them to the needed consumers while managing network bandwidth and firewall sessions.

  ### 8. VBrick for VoD

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

I love the organization and home page player which allows me to set up features programming highlighting videos O want my viewers to see.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

I wish my channels had player windows like the home one allowing me to create a virtual Cable Network of programming.

I dislike so need to use Zoom or Webex and can’t hold my group calls directly in VBrick.

**Recommendations to others considering Vbrick:**

If you figure out your workflow it could be a highly valued tool for content distribution.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using VBrick in many ways. As a teaching tool, as a form of personal development, and as a distribution outlet of pitches and concepts.

  ### 9. A great way to share information

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

What I like about Vbrick is how easy it is for the user to share information to it's colleagues in a very interactive environment. The Q&A, chat, and polling features make it easy for viewers to participate in live webcasts. Along with the ability to record your live webcasts and then share the VOD for people who missed the live event is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

There are not many things that I dislike but there are some features that could be added to make it easier to administer Teams. Like being able to bulk add members to the team would be a great feature especially if you have a large amount of members on your team it would be very convenient if we could add users with a .csv file.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we had a long process to create Live webcasts we would have to create a web page for each event. Now with VBrick it's so much easier to create edit and manage webcasts for users. The process has made it so easy so that we can tackle.

  ### 10. Excellent experience all throughout the process!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

The team from VBrick was incredibly responsive enabling us to streamline the setup process before an important event. The process to create and start a webcast is very quick and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

So far everything has worked as designed

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a reliable adhoc webcasting solution for our growing organization has enabled us to quickly get messages out to the masses quickly - both synchronous and asynchronous.

  ### 11. Using VBrick Rev for internal training and communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Theo E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

Ease of use for administrators and integration into Cisco Webex environment.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

We use Active Directory for authentication of our organization's users. That works well. But when we want to use Rev to have specific non-org users view a video training we have created, the tools for allowing access and reviewing attendance are not quite right for us. We probably need more of a Learning Management System, but it would be great if Rev provided a bit more functionality in this area.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rev has become our official repository for recordings of online training. We like that. It's helpful for onboarding new employees, and allowing people to view training on-demand.

  ### 12. The best option on the market for low bandwidth Orgs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Farming | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

Vbrick's approach with cloud to prem LAN/WAN distribution sets it apart from most if not all its competitors in the marketplace. The Distributed Media Engine and REV connect now offer distribution to corporate site of all sizes with modern distribution. The REV platform is also based on open standards so media, live streams, and integrations can be done with either turn-key solutions or via a powerful REST API.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

At scale managing the IP zones required to distribute content on the LAN can be cumbersome, the technology is rock solid but the management and upkeep can at times be a pain with M&A activities or network redesigns.

**Recommendations to others considering Vbrick:**

Unlike most cloud hosted solutions Vbrick offers prem distribution. cloud only solutions belie the fact that most organizations do not have perfect bandwidth everywhere, Vbrick is extremely invested in the Enterprise Content Distribution Network (eCDN) and this is extremely important to most corporate implementations.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are moving closer to turn-key webcasting. The video on demand benefits though are where we really see the most benefit. Corporate recordings of any kind including audio only podcasts can be uploaded, trans-coded, and delivered to end users without much of the complexity I have seen in other solutions.

  ### 13. Vbrick Rev

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Billy P. | Lead Engineer, Studio & Live Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

We use Vbrick rev as the main video distribution at one of our facilites and the customizability is our favorite part

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

Sometimes the transcode that is built in is the the best

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it as a remote source for our facility for talent to train and work on their own content as a place to upload to

  ### 14. vBrick allowed us to do a global broadcast with very little setup and pulled it off seamlessly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | IT Team Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

Easy setup. Any device anywhere can view the stream

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

Users have to unmute the stream. Not able to play music while users are waiting

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Removal of old Lifesize unit that requires SilverLight and VPN connection

  ### 15. Best Video Conferencing app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinay D. | Test Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

Very intuitive interface and easy to use for any novice user. Support wide variety of media formats. Easy integration/embedding to HTML pages

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

Nothing noticeable we have noticed as of today. Initially we had seen some kind of lag and latency but after complete implementation its smooth as butter.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously didnt have a Video Conferencing management tool. after using vbrick we now have a central tool to manage all our videos and announcements

  ### 16. VBrick Rev helps us get the word out, and keeps improving month to month.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

Rev makes it easy for us to create our internal, online learning classes (they're really basic - just an instructor and a powerpoint) from our videoconference connections. But with the tech updates and improvements Vbrick makes to Rev every month - and the monthly release webinars to update us all about them - I'm finding it possible to integrate Rev with my Cisco infrastructure, as well as Zoom. The new AI features - facial recognition, etc. - I hope to exploit in the near future.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

We are using Webex Meeting, Training, and Events more and more. I'd like to see some easier integrations with these platforms on Rev.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving our need to keep an active continuing education portal.

  ### 17. Excellent Video Management and HD live streaming platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

Security is good. Every user from audience has SSO and organizations can see number of people viewing the livestream. Great HD quality video presentations.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

Video Interactivity is not there yet. Audience is not able to provide live comments or ask questions. Not so good on mobile devices yet.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For All Hands Meetings - Live streaming for people sitting across countries

  ### 18. Great experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

Easy configuration and setup. Video codecs are awesome.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

I really liked everything and have no comments regarding this.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multicast streams

  ### 19. Great platform to record and share videos.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khristopher D. | Conference Producer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

The ability to control what you want people to see and who can see it.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

I wish we could add members to a group or team in bulk.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting messages out efficiently.

  ### 20. Rev has made our enterprise webcasting much more simple!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

We love that Rev and the Vbrick platform has streamlined our webstreaming workflow. Our corporation has a very disperse staff. Most of our staff work at client site locations or at offsite locations. Rev has enabled us to support firm-wide events that allow our staff to connect and view the events from wherever they happen to be located. One link connects our staff either to our internal network or to an external connection on any device. This allows our staff to feel engaged with their colleagues and leadership.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

We have very few dislikes, but if I had to highlight one, it would be the editing capability. It works fine, but we would love to see some additional enhancements to give us some additional features.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dispersed staff and providing a simple connection process to allow internal and external based staff to join events as well as supporting firm-wide webcasts (1,000 or more attendees) was our biggest challenge. We've realized that the zone logic in Rev has allowed us to optimize our internal network traffic and provide redundancy and fail over should an issue occur during an event, was a huge benefit we discovered.

  ### 21. vBrick Simplifies Webcast Distribution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

My company uses the vBrick DME appliance along with the vBrick Rev service to simplify the distribution of our media assets to employees around the globe. It has the ability to know when a client is on the same network as a DME thereby getting its video feed directly from the DME. It also knows when the client is on a remote network allowing handoff to a CDN for video distribution. We have been using it for our monthly CEO webcast with fantastic results.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

Recently the Cisco WebEx/Spark integration has been broken preventing us from using vBrick Rev to automate the recording and storage of our webinars. We are hoping that the issue gets resolved soon.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using vBrick, we had a legacy Windows Media Server in our headquarters location that was used to publish a media stream to all of our employees. The employees had to be on our corporate VPN in order to access the stream which introduced things like latency and jitter in our video. Since moving to vBrick, internal company clients can hit our on premise appliance, while folks that aren't directly connected to our network can hit the CDN that vBrick Rev publishes to.

  ### 22. Youtube for the enterprise

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Relations | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

Vbrick works hard to update products like REVS making it very up to date with graphics and trends making it very familiar for users.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

They have great support but it’s occasionally inconsistent with answers to the same question. We’ve had problems with browser capabilities sometimes.

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Need a way to store videos to share them internally and externally. We perform many live stream events as well.

  ### 23. Internal Video Content

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirk M. | Director, Media Production, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Vbrick?**

We can share video content across the company without the fear of bringing down our network.

**What do you dislike about Vbrick?**

Load times for embedded video content on web pages

**What problems is Vbrick solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to share video content across the company without the fear of bringing down our network.
