I use Vainu in daily customer meetings, to check company basic data, board members, CEO etc. It allows me to set up target group lists easily. Pipedrive integration help me a lot

**What do you like best about Vainu?**

I use Vainu for presales purposes. When we get inbound leads, I use Vainu to check out the companies and import them into Dynamics as a sales opportunity. Vainu provides us with plenty of helpful information and is also very customizable (you can create lists for your ideal customers, inbound leads, competitors, etc.).

**What do you dislike about Vainu?**

There's not much to dislike, honestly. I think the UI could be a little more intuitive, but overall, I really like the software.

**What problems is Vainu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Vainu for presales mapping, whether our inbound leads are already using the products we sell. This gives us a better starting point for our initial mapping calls.

I've used multiple different tools for prospecting & keeping up with customers, but I usually felt a bit disappointed or simply stopped using the software. Vainu is an exception and I've used the software for 3 years with great results. I really think that there is no much for Vainu in the market at the moment.

**What do you dislike about Vainu?**

Pricing for individuals could be a bit lower.

If you are either: 

a) Finding out new potential customers 
b) What to be informed about changes & news in customer companies 

Vainu is a must for any modern sales person / organization.

I'm finding new potential customers and I do not have time to be constantly manually looking at what kind of companies could be a great fit. Luckily I have a technological assistant Vainu to help me.

Fast to learn and navigate and I really like the ways of adding and editing potential company listings for future use.

I would not say that I am solving problems. I am looking for information that is useful for my line of work.

There are multiple benefits, but just to mention a few: Management, time-saving, contact information, and Financial information, which is on hand in Vainu.

You cannot find a company using the brand name, because you have to had a legal name. I still think creating all kind of list is unlogical and I'm really unsure how to do this.

It´s easy to use. They have great customer service. With Vainu you can find all the meaningful signals from the prospect (for example changes in board members, CEO or other key players). If you can integrate it with your sales CRM you maybe get most out of it.

Mobileapp is not so good as website for daily saleswork.

We love the website word search since it makes it possible for us to search for out competitors brand name on potencial customers websites. We work within logistics and are looking for e-commerce businesses, that often publish which carries they use so that is something we really like. Also the possibility  to ad a parameter of which E-commerce tool they use is greate since we have some great API to some of them and want to mainly target companies on those platforms. Also the fact that we can create a zone for geografic position.

Nothing, we are so happy with the tool! Really does not have any complaints.

We linked Vainu with our CRM in order to create dynamic new Customer segments that we use to 1) manage sales and 2) demonstrate how active sales contributes to growth and profitability. Before this system was up and running it was difficult to assign sales tasks inside organization. Now we can create a new Customer segment with various filters and assign tasks very efficiently. It has changed how we manage sales.

Filtering with website key words does not work properly, we need to use also other sources of information to make Customer segmentation and lists that we can trust to be complete in our area.

- Customer segmentation used to be static, now it is dynamic
- Opening new Customers to our CRM is now efficient
- Workflow regarding how to create a list of customers and assign sale tasks is now clear

CRM integration and vast amount of company data that can be easily mapped and synced with the CRM. The customer service and support is world class.

**What do you dislike about Vainu?**

There could be improvements made in the UI and usability of the software, but still, this is no bottleneck for my main use-cases but some improvements could make the experience of creating company groups etc. more smooth and fun.

My primary use-case with the service is firing up the CRM with for us relevant companies and automating this process. Main benefits are time savings and automation, also building a great data foundation for the marketing department.

With Vainu I can filter their comprehensive business registry to find my target group and sift through for quality prospects. With Pipedrive integration, I can then feed those prospects straight to my sales pipeline and stay up to date with changes in their organization.

**What do you dislike about Vainu?**

The product hasn’t matured yet, so I’ve run into some glitches or bumps. But they have been sorted out promptly and helpfully by their customer care. 

The pricing was also a kind of a high treshold for us, but as we switched from using an external booking agency we have seen this as a worthy tool.

It has become easier to find companies that are a good fit to us but we have never heard of.

**What do you like best about Vainu?**

Many different parameters help creating very specific lists of companies to attack right now. There's even a parameter that can find companies who have the tool I happen to sell on their website.

**What do you dislike about Vainu?**

One of my main uses for Vainu is both exporting and importing data from and to Vainu. Sometimes Vainu freezes when I'm trying to export, which is problematic if i have a deadline to meet with my data or prospect lists.

**What problems is Vainu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I and my team get most of the prospects from Vainu and I have found it very easy to try approaching new business fields by quickly making an industry top something list at Vainu. Another problem I'm solving with Vainu is getting more specific data of companies that have been booked. The basic data of the companies our booking team succesfully approaches is very important for sales success and it's fairly easy to update this data by importing company lists to Vainu and exporting the more specific data.

**What do you like best about Vainu?**

I like the way I get notifications about the companies in certain industries. For example, I've been telling my colleagues about some marketing manager changes which we have only noticed through wondering, why the old contact person doesn't reply anymore.

Also I like the signals, that's the best part. Look at some industry and see the latest signals.

I had a private lesson from Aapo one day and he showed how we as an event center can check out other similar events' exhibitors there. That is something that is really important in our field.

**What do you dislike about Vainu?**

My employer hasn't connected it (or I don't know how) to our CRM (D365) so it makes it a bit difficult to transfer the data, I need to go to Vainu webpage separately. So I use Vainu whenever I need to find new clients but don't use it for my current ones even though it would work on that as well.

One think I didn't like today: it doesn't have "talopaketit / house packages" as a separate field of industry even though it is in Finder etc.

**What problems is Vainu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm solving a problem of not knowing who all my customers could be. Is there something new going on. At the event industry it also counts if there are some management changes: for example if a CEO has hated fairs and the new CEO doesn't but nobody contacts them because we think they are still with that old one.

I can "spy" on competitors and ask for new lists of customers from the chat. I've asked for some building fairs across Finland.

There has been some challenges with integrations, but all have been solved. Making suitable and relevant lists is not always easy, it takes time to find correct search filters.

Powerful search and filters, great additional value to business development. Tools are not inpleccable, however, you need to use consideration and common sense when doing the searches. But when used right, Vainu can create results you would struggle to achieve otherways. And the customer service is top notch!

Search results not always what you would expect, but many times this is more due to your own actions (filters selected etc.) than malfunction of the system. But sometimes the results do leave room for improvement. But hey, nothing is perfect. ;)
