I have been using lots of video server for my e-learning websites since long year. But recently i was suffering video piracy problem. Because my students are pirating our paid course due to lack of video security. At that time i discovered VadooTV from one of my fb friend. Now i noticed that VadooTV offering HLS encrypted video service so that the video which will be hosted in VadooTV would never be downloaded. That is the amazing feature which made me made.cause now a days, the all e-learning founder are suffering piracy problem. I am same too. Now i have already purchased VadooTV and shifted from my previous video hosting to Vadoo.now all of my video content is DRM HLS encrypted. Now i am happy. Have been a long time Wista and Vimeo Pro user for various projects over the years. Wista however just isn't affordable for my smaller clients, and Vimeo has its limits for the more affordable packages. VadooTV's offering is the perfect balance to offer my small clients something other than Youtube, but still offering busines class features such as add-free content, domain privacy, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was hesitant to purchase straight away because their site didn't seem quite as polished compared to the likes of Wista and Vimeo (and I think the logo needs a bit of work!) - I thought this would have translated to the quality of the video players and the overall experience. I can report however my concerns were ill-founded - the players look great, and the content plays just as fast as what I was using before - but without the hefty price tag to go with it. It is a relatively new product, so it does not have all the possible bells and whistles you might expect. However, having tried it, I can see that the core product is adequate for most of your needs. It allows you to import, record, store, organise and share videos.

I especially appreciate that it has encryption and domain restrictions for security. CNAME is excellent for your own branding. CDN appears to be made of multiple CDNs, which is a great bonus, but I have not had a chance to test it thoroughly. CTA functionality works well; as such, it is not a simple hosting service. The video player can be integrated with existing YouTube, Vimeo videos.

The streaming speed of the video is very fast. It's automatically encoding the video once uploaded and delivers different video quality to the user to watch, also allow the user to select the quality of the video manually. The other best thig is HLS encryption, to prevent some user to download the video using IDM.

Customizing the video player feature is good, so the video can be used in many different use cases. I can customize the player theme to meet the academy theme, which is fantastic.

The Video Analytics look very basic, but it does give the most important detail of what we need to know how the video performs. The last thing is the call to action; I can collect feedback from students after they finish watching each lesson. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Audio Player is still not user-friendly yet. It is still tiny and not optimized for mobile devices. There is no video folder to better manage the video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is the only platform that I've found which is cost effective, includes HLS encoding, URL restrictions, CNAME, watermark and subtitle support. This means that I have a lot of control over who can see my content and makes it very difficult (if at all possible) to be downloaded. Most other platforms don't offer HLS, which means it is very easy to download entire videos. For those who are providing educational or entertainment options, this is a crucial addition. No major dislkes yet. I did find it a little frustrating that CNAME was only included in the upper cost tier, but understandably it is a premium feature. Having a few CNAME options at the upper tier would have been nice, but will use one as an overall umbrella for all my projects to run under. Missing slightly more styling options of the player. Can set the color, but would like to select between different templates with totally different styles. A popupblocker chrome extension blocked playing of video. Support are likely to fix this though. Something with the UI of settings and video admin that was 100% intuititve. I used Vimeo for hosting my videos which we all know comes with a hefty price tag.

But not anymore!

The vadootv player has unlimited bandwidth and I'm not limited to video uploads/month, unlike vimeo.

Fast CDN, video security, CTAs on videos, the dashboard is simple and easy to use with a lot of features coming on the roadmap.

If you're hosting a lot of videos online don't overlook this deal. This is my third best investment on appsumo.
