I've not only been looking for something like this for myself, but it's been something my clients have wanted for a really long time (we build funnels + online courses and memberships, and usually there is not a good community aspect built into the platforms we use, but a lot of people want to be able to host their own community rather than use something like Facebook). First is the ease of set up – 5 minutes and you have a personalised and branded community ready to publish. Second is the number of functions that are ready to go – I particularly like the trending topics feature. Third is for the community – it works easily for them too – they find it easy to navigate around - great for community engagement. In my use case, I have several FB groups but because FB will not allow proprietary files types to be attached – not even zip archives of them – it is impossible to share such files (in my case synthesizer sound files). But it is possible with uuki! The final huge plus is removing the noise of other social platforms. Going into FB is like navigating an assault course – uuki is only about your topic; no competition for attention, no ads or sponsored posts, no ‘noise’ – just focus on your community. **What do you dislike about Uuki?** At the moment I haven't found anything that causes me any concern. As I have some familiarity with the team behind it from my use of another of their products I have some degree of confidence that they'll be around for a long while, however I cannot be absolutely certain about it. It’s such a great breath of fresh air to have a social platform that’s so customisable and supportive of Polygon/Matic - one of the most affordable and accessible blockchains for NFTs today. The interface is ridiculously simple, loads fast and puts things where they need to be. While there is a learning curve, Uuki is quite intuitive. It still has room for improvement but the promise it shows is incredible and makes me excited to see what may come next for it. **What do you dislike about Uuki?** Hopefully, more blockchains can be supported. We select not to use mainstream social media to house our communities. This works near perfectly. I like how the posting and feeds work similar to social media channels, private chats allow for more control. Overall, though. I'm pleased with my purchase! **What do you dislike about Uuki?** The only downside is the events. Our community hosts live classes often. It's hard to create events, I keep getting an error message, and there's no visible option to make them reoccuring (as most class sessions are), so there is some room for improvement. There is no visible option for me to implement user tiering either, like my community's free members can access certain features but paid community members receive more. Luckily, the promise this software shows and what it does under the hood is a far cry from the first visual impression. Don't judge a book by its' cover, I suppose. Since then and in that short time, there have been a TON of updates. The user interface now looks adjusted and easier to navigate. The features have grown and matured into very useful extensions of the what community app is intended to do, yet they remain simple to use.
