## Uxcel Reviews
  ### 1. Interactive/Short pace journey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gonzalo Andrés R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The thing I like the most about Uxcel is the variety of courses they have at your disposal, the certificates you can attach to your Linkedin account. A new feature is that in text you're reading they left important words highlighted, so when you hover your mouse on them a pop up appear with a short meaning for that word. Also es really easy to use and you can study just one module per day if you want.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Sometimes you can find several topics that have similar in information, but separated in different paragraphs or subjects with their own title, some of them could be together as just one subject and not divivided into different chunks of texts. That's the only thing I've find about Uxcel that kind of dislike.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The chance to study on your own pace, and not charge your brain with a lot of information at the same time, does not oblige you to study for hour and fulfil a quota of exams.

  ### 2. A complete encyclopedia of UI-UX. A-2-Z of UI-UX and Product Design for 360 degree experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sayantan N. | Internship Trainee, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel is easy to use, fully loaded of features like awesome learning modules and chapters, design briefs, also it has integrated assessments to test your skills after learning. the platform provides excellent customer support too.
As a learner, you can feel an optimum level of comfort in terms of self-paced learning with uxcel's revolutionary platform which is essential to become a skillful professional designer and get success.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Honestly, I didn't find out anything to dislike about this platform as of now!

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel is providing an all around platform, to learn and grow as a professional designer and related roles, at one place.
The content is specifically related to UI-UX design domain and related job roles. It is very suitable to the need of a beginner learner aspiring to become a ux professional in near future. The platform contains "Design Brief" section to complete real-world design excercises to develop projects for portfolio. Uxcel also has pro level career certifications that helps to showcase your uiux skills and get verified.
Moreover, I am getting all resources at one place with excellent quality content.

  ### 3. The essential platform for all designers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo O. | UX / UI Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The Uxcel platform makes it easy to test and learn all concepts related to different aspects of digital design in an enjoyable and gamified manner. No matter your skill level, Uxcel provides valuable knowledge, whether you're at the beginner stages or aiming for leadership roles.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I would prefer to pay more yearly but to have access at least to one final course certification for free, than the actual system of paying a smaller amount every month and to pay a considerable amount that exceeds the yearly payment amount. I would also add more courses or certifications for higher level users regarding leadership or design managers, and also certifications for analytical data like UX research.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate the flexibility to learn at my own pace, whether on my desktop or phone. The platform's user-friendly interface enhances the learning experience, and its supportive community offers valuable feedback to improve skills rapidly. Additionally, professionals can easily review your work. I use Uxcel every day!

  ### 4. Well-structured information

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olha N. | Ux/Ui designer , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The courses are broken down into very small chunks, allowing you to complete each lesson in 10 minutes. At the same time, cross-references are very well organized; while going through a lesson, you can immediately open lessons on unclear issues, even if they belong to another course. Well, testing after each lesson - a very effective way to learn. I’m just at the beginning of my studies and haven’t figured out how the library is organized yet, but I’ve already seen the bookmark system and it’s really cool! The lessons are written in simple language, which is very valuable for non-native English speakers. Definition, it is a convenient, modern, effective way to learn. Worth every penny.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I haven't found anything yet that I don't like. Perhaps time-limited tests is more difficult for non-native English speakers and this does not allow you to pass all the tests perfectly, but this is for sure not a platform problem.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding and structuring materials for study on the Internet. Certified training in English. No need to contact teachers. The ability to study at your own pace, without a fixed class schedule.

  ### 5. Excellent, low-cost method of ongoing education

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivian B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I love how bite size the lessons are, the ease of having a desktop and mobile version, the gamification of courses for motivation, and the fantastic resources cited in lessons and for returning to later. I have used Uxcel for several years now and when I was working through most of the courses, I used it daily. It has been wonderful to see my progress accrue over the years and I've been grateful to have this platform within my professional work for upskilling and reference. The job board has also been incredibly useful.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Due to my personal learning style, I am less interested in challenge-based work as opposed to the lessons and tests. But this is personal preference and I'm excited to see how the platform integrates this into their curricula.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel is solving for the gap of quality low cost UX and product education on the market. I've benefitted from having a way to learn about a host of facets of design without shelling out for courses costing 1000s, while having a centralized platform to record my progress and learning.

  ### 6. One of the best knowledge bases for UX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parth K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

UXcel has some of the most well written articles on UX. the lessons are pretty well split, link to the appropriate articles if you want to deep dive, and the tests are fine too.The interface is easy to understand and use, and it's gotten me to study daily. I have paid ~$2000 in INR for a university affiliated certificate, but i've learnt more in this course with an annual subscription of INR 2000. I really, really, really like UXcel. It's one of the subscriptions I'm going to keep even after going through all the courses I want and need to take.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

There honestly isnt much. the design briefs feel a bit too technical for a newbie to UX, but a bit of googling and you're sorted. I also imagine they are the way they are since they are a proxy for the kinds of tasks companies would assign a UXer. So they get a pass. The tests can be cheesed, and i find that a bit flawed, but then it's what happens with gamification, so again, i am willing to live with it.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UXcel has made technical information related to UX easy to disgest. The subscription is very competitively priced, the design is easy to understand and it is really well curated.

  ### 7. I started testing out Uxcel some months ago and I am already hooked!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisc A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

As a newcomer to Uxcel, I endeavored to delve into the process of learning and testing the newly acquired knowledge. I was pleasantly surprised by how effortlessly one can absorb information using this platform. The courses are meticulously organized and divided, allowing learners to set their own pace. The incorporation of gamification, where learners earn points and progress through higher leagues, adds an enjoyable aspect to learning.

Additionally, the skill graph feature is a valuable addition.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I understand the testing process, but generally, the questions are quite simple, and the images used are identical to those in the courses. This can significantly aid users in answering questions correctly simply by recalling the correct images.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was experimenting with the tool to determine if it could be selected as the preferred learning platform for our company's UX designers. Additionally, the skill graph and team-type accounts could potentially address competitiveness and comparison issues in classification.

  ### 8. Very well structured!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucca R. | Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

What I like the most is definately the structure of the content. I feel like the roadmaps are stablished and great for creating a sense of progress. Lessons are practical, which is great. It is pretty easy to use, with great UX, and it is pushing me forward to learn by using it every day. I also would like to mention that the current pricing is definately worth it. Although I did'nt get to the advanced lessons yet, I feel like reviewing the basic content is working great so far.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I feel like the theory for lessons could have not only text, but also videos. I also feel just like in Duolingo that there should be a way to skip some contents (in my case, I need to see way too basic lessons to get the certificate, since I'm a mid to senior level). I also feel like the tests should use different use cases / examples than the ones used in the theory, because it gets easy to pass by memorizing the examples.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The theory of design basics is well covered and it is helping me to get into a deeper level of design.

  ### 9. Uxcel has been an extremely helpful way of supplementing my formal education in media design.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luka Zec Z. | Media Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

All segments of UI and UX design are well organized into digestible units which are really easy to come back to and find in case you need to refresh your knowledge. The bite-sized presentation of each topic really helps you go through otherwise complex topics with a small time commitment - for example while commuting in a subway. This means that I can use it as frequently as I want to in small chunks, which other learning platforms don't necessarily allow.
The quality and amount of useful information was staggering at first and it has set a standard for any other form of supplementary learning platform for design I might look for in the future.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

The only downside I could think of would be the lack of audio-visual content which might go a long way in supplementing the impressive amount of content Uxcel aready offers. Not so much of a dislike and more of a suggestion for more features!

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It serves as a repository of tips and best practices that I can always come back to whenever I'm working on a new project where I'm not that well versed yet and could use a refresher on industry standards. It just offers a large amount of information that is easily found.

  ### 10. It´s exactly the tool best suits my needs.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Irene R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Thanks to the courses and lessons I took at Uxcel my skills as a very Junior UX/UI designer have increased notably, even my team is very proud of me and they are pleased that now I can be involved in more design processes. I love the platform because is very easy to use, the lessons are long enough but easy to understand, and what I most value are the high quality of the References they provide in case I want to deep dive into a specific topic. It has also a very efficient customer service!

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Because I am an eager student, I would like to have the opportunity to have a few courses/windows opened at the same time, it would improve my user experience as a Student because I can combine courses with the same topic. In addition, I also would love to propose some topics I would need to deep into very soon: accessibility, data visualization, and advanced Figma course.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find it perfect because I can begin a lesson or a test whenever I have a break and implement it into my day-to-day workflow, using it as a bible, if I have a specific doubt while I am working I can just search for a course/lesson that solves quickly these doubts.

  ### 11. Great way to stay sharp with gamified and bite-sized learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Soren H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The way the platform is designed makes learning feel like a fun game, which encourages you to keep using it and learning more.

The courses are easy to understand, and they are sorted based on how much you already know about the subject. They also tell you how long it will take, on average, to finish each course.

Your progress is saved as you go, and you can see how much you've improved on your profile page. I really like the skills graph as well.

I like that accessibility is woven into all the courses and is targeted to the design role.

I recommend this to mentees and to seasoned folks alike, especially to get sharp with quick snappy decisions and recall.

I try to use it daily, but I would say weekly is great too.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

There are only two methods of learning - answering questions and reading the theory, which isn't always accessible or convenient for learners

I'd love to download a summary of each unit or course to remember key facts or to be able to at-a-glance recommend them to new people

I'd like to see more leveled skill certificates rather than Product Designer, UX Designer, UI Designer, UI/UX Designer etc. Maybe User Research, Advanced UXR, Product Design, Advanced Product Design, Design Operations, Managing Design Operations. There's also very little impetus for me to do a cert as I'm already a UXD/Product Designer for many years and have other certs.

I don't really understand the leaderboard or the community challenges and it's very difficult to understand. I think there needs to be more of a informational page on the app besides just the learning app and the discord server.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel solves a gap for people that didn't receive a formal design or UX education. It's a great way to get an idea of where you can improve and what interests you.

  ### 12. The best learning experience in UX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra K. | UX Research | Product Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

This is so far the best learning UX experience I have encountered and I have been using multiple learning platforms providing online courses but UXcel is another level.

I love everything about UXcel, its digestable content in lessons and practical and real guidance, short quizzes after every lesson to ensure you have grasped what you have read and this is only the part. And all this for extremely fair price!

The gamification process behind is so great I haven't lost my streak in two months and did not even stop while I was on vacation.

I am already proudly recommending it to my colleagues to join me on this learning journey.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

This is a hard one. I really cannot think of anything since I am still exploring all features and haven't tried it all yet, but so far I cannot think of anything.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Elevating Design Knowledge and Practical Skills

  ### 13. Treasure for UX

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna M. | UX Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Suitable for any seniority, Excel provides a number of features for professional growth. Once you take an assesment, you get to see how your knowledge expands based on the courses you've taken on a neat graph.

Apart from the courses, there are design challenges and games which help you develop UX knowledge practically.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

The platform is rapidly growing, which is the reason why some features are lacking: for example, you can see your position in ranking but can't check out the whole thing.

Looks like they are actively working on that.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel provides short lessons on important topics without redundant information. There are resources if you want to dig deeper and you can favourite a lesson if you want to come back to it.

  ### 14. A Gamified Learning Platform for UI/UX Designers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oresta K. | Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Its unparalleled gamified approach enhances learning and engagement.
The most helpful aspect is its interactive and motivating design, making the learning process enjoyable.
The ability to apply what you've learned in practice through briefs (challenges), which are then extensively reviewed by experts, pointing out the strengths and weaknesses, is very valuable.
Additionally, Uxcel's upsides include its ability to track progress, provide a competitive edge with leaderboards, and offer a comprehensive learning experience in UI/UX design.
Customer support is brilliant!

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I didn't find the Job Board useful for my country as there were no actual jobs listed.
I also wish there were more courses about Figma. However, overall, I enjoy Uxcel and I'll recomend it to my friends.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel's platform addresses the need for continuous learning and improvement in the dynamic field of UX/UI design, benefiting me by keeping me competitive and skilled in my profession.

  ### 15. Fun way to learn UX UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marisa S. | Senior UX / UI Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The gamification aspect of the platform. The way they make it easy to learn, to explore and to find new courses and insights that will help you along the way. Most of all is is an easy and acessful platform for anyone who is trying to improve their UX skills

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I believe they can improve the offer they have, most of the courses are not really advanced, so it makes harder for someone that is already working in the industry to find usefull material to level up their technical skills.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really helps me refresh some concepts i already knew but never got very deep into. Its amazing that i can easy access the platform when i want and learn on my own pace. Democratize UX design education is what the industry needs, to build a trong community that help each other grow.

  ### 16. Bite-sized Learning Fun with Uxcel!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mišo . | UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel offers a refreshing approach to learning with its bite-sized lessons that make it easy to fit into any schedule. Each lesson is packed with engaging content, ensuring there's always something new to discover. The interactive nature of the platform makes learning fun and enjoyable, whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your skills. When I was still learning the basic I used it almost every day. Now is my go-to resource of how to make parts of my job easier.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Hard to find any dislike. The platform would definitely benefit from including an option for short-term job projects or freelance job seekers.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bite-sized lessons benefits me greatly as I can learn at my own pace without feeling overwhelmed or constrained by time. Additionally, Uxcel's interactive approach to learning makes the process enjoyable and engaging, ensuring that I retain information more effectively.

  ### 17. Makes learning fun

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel is designed in a way that it's engaging in a fun way. With it's assessments, challenges, leagues, points, skill graph and so on, it encouraged me to keep coming back while acquiring more knowledge as a UI/UX and product designer.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

The mobile application version doesn't have as much features as the website version.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel is a platform that provides learning materials and environment for designers like me, and it has helped in sharpening my skills and broadening my knowledge at UI/UX design.

  ### 18. Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I like that you have a lot of optios for learning, also you can read the theory and at the end you have like a mini game that helps you to remember the important parts of what you learn. I like the certification and option to have a portfolio with them. is really eady to use and for everyone, you can use it at your own peace and also you they can remind you to study if you like. I use it almost everyday.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

until now i dont have any complains. Probably as a free usear you cannot continue a lot the plans of careers, but is not that expensive, i recommend if you are going into it pay the annual is worth it

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Studying with a good price and becoming a good ux/ui designer or product designer and more.

  ### 19. excellent tool for self-learner

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Mobile App: You can use this app anytime, even if you stop and come back later.

Practice: You can pick what you want to work on and get advice from experts.

Skill Graph: You can see how you're doing in different areas easily.

Design League: This is like a game where you can try to do better than others and move up levels. If you don't do well, you might drop down.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

One issue I've noticed, similar to other platforms, is the need for stricter measures against cheating. While there are some measures in place, the penalties aren't severe enough. Strengthening the test security could help genuinely hardworking individuals shine and be recognized for their efforts.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most valuable feature is the practice section. As many designers struggle to receive helpful feedback from experts. Uxcel solve this issue.

  ### 20. The best way to start your UX/UI journey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vladislav G. | Study Abroad Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I really like the gamification elements in the learning process! I am thoroughly impressed with Uxcel! The user-friendly interface and very well structured theory make my UX/UI learning journey not only educational but also enjoyable. It’s a powerful tool that gives you the start that you've been looking for! Highly recommend for anyone venturing into the world of UX/UI design!

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

While Uxcel is a fantastic resource, I’ve noticed that there isn't any possibility to chat with other users. This would enhance the overall user experience and make the platform even more effective. Looking forward to seeing enhancements in future updates!

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel helps beginners to find their right career path in the design world! As a beginner UX/UI designer I've searched a lot of resources in order to start my journey and Uxcel helped me find it!

  ### 21. Game-based Learning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo T. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel quickly catched my eye because of one very special feature. The gamification. Unlinke other ux learning platforms, Uxcel teaches you by making you briefly read a topic and then answer questions about it in a "gamy" way. For me this strategy worked the best and I've improved a lot since I began using uxcel.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Although the price might be fair, I wish there was a special discount for university students.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making UX Learning easier.

  ### 22. Great UX for a training

**Reviewed by:** Thibault P. | Product Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Fast paced and self paced, great gamification

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Nothing to declare, app could be enhanced to see same features as the website, but already great.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great way of learning good design skills

  ### 23. The best way to learn, practice and continue to grow in your UX & UI career.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David Eduardo D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The structure of the information and the format in how it delivers the content (information) is a very innovative way. The format and design guides you to study and practice the knowledge acquired through it in a very intuitive, practical and innovative way.

Also, having a community of professionals in the area gives you more support for your growth in your career as a product designer, Visual Designe or Ux designer.

  ### 26. easy to understand and review classes when necessary

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giovanna R. | UI Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I love that you can learn at your own pass and have a very visual understanding of what is your progress so far. The "duolingo like" aspect of UXcell helps you to keep consistency on your studies, so i end up doing at least one class everyday.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I wish some of the classes would show a few real life examples of websites and aplications, the good and bad practices, but the illustrations are still good enough to get e grasp of what the text is saying

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel is perfect for filling gaps I have on my understanding of the UX/UI design universe. there are some things that haven't touched yet such as: UX Writing and AI in UX that Uxcel provides spot-on classes on those matters

  ### 27. Fantastic learning experience with great insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Really easy to use platform, very informative across a range of UX and UI topics, with lots of incentives for progress including gamification, leaderboards and certification.

Would recommend even if you're not a designer. I'm doing a brand refresh for our charity and wanted to learn more about design terminology and accessibility so I can be a more effective project manager and work better with the agency we are using. I really appreciate the focus on accessibility in particular and the wide range of information and how the learning platform is set up. Would highly recommend to anyone!

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

There's nothing I dislike so far about using Uxcel!

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning more in depth about design and how it affects our members and people who use our services.

  ### 28. A must for anyone who wants to become a UI and UX designer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nyamjargal O. | Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I think the most useful thing is that some parts are free, which is cool

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

But students find it too expensive when they need to study at a more professional level. Because 25 dollars is a lot of money in Mongolia

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want to learn like Coursera for students, but it would be nice if you could write a letter and make it free when you don't have money

  ### 29. Practical, interactive lessons designed to be completed in short daily sessions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leslie D. | Data Entry Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I enjoy having several options to learn something, and the lessons are quick and easy to study and test for. As a matter of fact, I can knock out a couple of lessons and tests while relaxing before going to work. I don't recall having as much fun learning.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I still have much to explore on Uxcel. That being said, I wish certifications came with more flexible payment options that would allow me to take the tests that I want without busting my budget.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel does solve the need to learn the latest tech easily and quickly. I appreciate that I can gain the knowledge that I would like to have in manageable lessons that fit into my schedule.

  ### 31. It empowers you to be a better designer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dinalyn P. | Freelance Mobile and Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I can say after subscribing in Uxcel it helps me a lot from familiarizing basic guidelines, standards in UI Design to applying best practices. I really like the assessments or quizzes followed by the bite-sized explanation of it. The explanation is very informative, useful and also I love the tips. By the way,I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you Uxcel, because you empowered me to share the design tips I learned from you! Good job Uxcel! I am more competent and confident in UI Design.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

It is almost 2 months since I subscribed, I didn't see any downside of the site.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that I solved using Uxcel are implementing CTAs, make designs standout and many more.

  ### 32. Well designed platform to train and grow as a practitioner

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan M. | Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The mobile app is very portable and well thought out. And they offer feedback to practice UI skills. The user-centric part is a tricky experience to recreate in an educational setting. But they do a decent job simulating some aspects of it.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Some content is unfortunately subjective (or not built with enough aspects to make the assignment objective). And I feel there could have been better communication in best practices and inclusivity. The discord feature I didn't know how to engage with.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to train the UX practice to people of all experience levels. I am still enjoying the content - as it fills in some gaps, and provides sufficient resources to allow a deeper dive.

  ### 33. Best daily practice for ui/ux designers!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milena C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I am using Uxcel daily to keep me engaged and motivated to work on my web projects. It helps me to gain insights about web industry, to implement the best practices into my work, and generally to find inspiration. I was using Duolingo to study Greek, enjoy it a lot, and having now Uxcel for Design practice is a such pleasure for me! Totally, recommend it for daily practice

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Generally, I don't have any difficulties with the app, just sometimes there is a lag with dates. For Saturdays it shows that I missed my practice (which i didn't) and then on Sunday it gets back to normal

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

daily practice and learning good practices in design

  ### 34. A great asset for learning UX

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The number of courses, activities, and certifications offered make the subscription very worth it. Uxcel's interface is very simple to use, with its gamification features making it very easy for me to complete lessons at a daily frequency. It's explanations in lessons are simple to understand, with examples that allow me to apply/implement in personal projects. This app will help me immensely as it provides more structured learning when self-teaching.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

The AI in one Designr practice game could be improved, as the 'correct' design deemed by the AI was not. This may be due to issues in screen responsiveness. However, this is a minor issue.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel provides a structured approach to learning, for those that would benefit from that style of learning (such as myself). It also provides activities that apply what you have learned in a hands-on, interactive manner. I especially enjoy its assessment feature to provide a more measurable way to gauge your current skillset. From this, Uxcel directs you to their other lessons that may fill your gaps in knowledge.

  ### 35. Premier learning platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kapás I. | UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

UXCEL stands out as a premier learning platform thanks to its intuitive interface, diverse course selection, and engaging learning experience. The best thing I like about UXcel is the bite sized lessons and the fact that you can learn at your own pace.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I don't really have anything that I dislike about UXcel.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UXCEL addresses several common challenges in online learning, making it a highly beneficial platform. Firstly, it simplifies the process of finding relevant courses by offering a diverse range of topics and skill levels, ensuring that learners can easily access the content they need. Additionally, UXCEL's intuitive interface streamlines the learning experience, eliminating the frustration often associated with navigating complex platforms.

  ### 36. An Amazing Resource!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine C. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel is essentially Duolingo for learning UX Design. As someone with no background, it's been truly instrumental in my journey of learning UX so far.

The lessons are bite-sized, accessible and straight to the point with no filler. Everything provided here is valuable, and the structure of it makes it so easy to learn something new. Additionally, the app is very well designed and easy to navigate and tailor to your own experience and needs!

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

This requires some extreme nitpicking due to the app being amazing as is!

It would be great if they offered a few videos that demonstrate how design thinking is used. Everything in the lessons is explained well, but some good demonstration of applying these concepts to a case study would be valuable to observe.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed an easy, accessible and affordable resource to learn UX design. Colleges or UX bootcamps are very expensive, and due to their nature they often struggle with keeping up with the latest trends in the industry. This app is easy to update, so I'm more confident that what I'm learning is relevant.

  ### 37. Get the skills, Become the Designer you aspire to be!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felice D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel has a great library of courses, lessons, and comprehensive ux glossary to develop yourself in the areas of UX. This site is a hub to level up your skills and grow into your career path. The lessons are gamified which keeps you engaged. Having the ability to use Uxcel on my phone is also an added benefit to get in a few minutes of training during small gaps in my day. I highly recommend Uxcel for learning and growing in the field of UX & Product Design.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

This is a nitpick really, but you can find all the lessons you plan to take on the mobile app, however they aren't structured by certifications. They're all there and categoriezed by topic, beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel fills the gap by providing courses to gain industry skills and knowledge in the UX field. A plethora of topics and courses that you can learn and sharpen your skills. You are incentivized with course certificates, can skim the job posts, and bookmark your favorite course topics. I find it's a beneficial app because I don't have to flip through hundreds of articles or resources to find similar lessons. It's a hub for all things UX.

  ### 38. Fantastic resource to learn UX/UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

What I like most about Uxcel is the structure of the courses. Each course is well paced and optimized to provide the most information in the shortest time, without sacrificing quality of communication. I have completed several entire course so far, and in each case the content was appropriately divided into modules in sections such that I could accumulate significant learning throughout the day in between other activities.

This is a learning application that is very easily integrated with a work day or a personal day. Of course your learning will improve that much faster if you can dedicate entire parts of your day to lessons, but for many people that won't be possible, and Uxcel was clearly designed to help people learn even on a tight schedule.

When I am using Uxcel, I will often use it more than a dozen times a day, and usually complete 5-6 lessons, even with a full slate of other activities in my schedule.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

One thing I dislike about Uxcel is the format of the quizzes. The quizzes are for the most part multiple choice and very frequently just present the right answer and 1 wrong answer. I find this can be a bit too easy at times and don't feel like my knowledge is really being tested. Making the quizzes more difficult is one suggestion I would make.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to learn UX/UI in depth, while also working and completing other educational requirements outside of work. I need a UX/UI learning platform that can work with a busy schedule.

  ### 39. Really great learning resource for designers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben W. | Website Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The learning material is structured well. I can choose from a range of Lessons, Course and Certifications... completing them on a day/time that suits me. It's also great to gave certificates which I can share with my professional network on LinkedIn. The learning material is also really good and well written.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

When reading lessions, I would like to option to highlight paragraphs of text (to help me read better) or maybe a dark mode which is less straining on my eyes.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me to brush up on my UX skills

  ### 40. I love Uxcel for practical design studies.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo E. | Product Design Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I like the practicality of studying different topics related to design, where we can review and verify our knowledge within the design area.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I don't like having the option of content in Brazilian Portuguese

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps in building content to grow my skills, helping me become an expert in my field.

  ### 41. It's a very wholesome app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubhika K. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

It's so far one of the best platforms I've come across in terms of design. Especially the detailed courses it provides. This app is one of a gem to my design journey. It is easy to use…provides valuable insights. Very informative.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

It is so unpopular and underrated. I just don't have anything to hate about it!

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me particularly with design thinking and color theory concepts..especially for the ux research, which so well put up that I've never seen on any platform before.

  ### 42. The best website for learning UX /UI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michalina G. | Social Media specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

At Uxcel, I can easily summarise my experience through tests. I also like the ability to upload and rate projects - it adds a lot to my learning at the moment. The website (as well as the app) is clear and comfortable to use.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I would like to be able to compare myself more with other users - I can sometimes check their profiles, but this is not always possible (e.g. with the leaderboard).

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel helps me organise my knowledge easily and facilitates contact with mentors. I'm just starting out in this industry, so I haven't had the opportunity to use such help before.

  ### 43. Great quality, bite-sized UX learning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel G. | VP, Design Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel is a great platform for learning UX at all levels. The gamified experience and the bite-sized content make learning easy and fun, and the low price point makes it a great investment. I have been working in UX and product design for a decade, and I have learned a lot from the courses on Uxcel.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

The mobile app doesn't offer all the functionalities that the web version does. If you only download the app, you might miss some important features.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a very busy person, it helps me to continue learning and sharpening my skills with short bits of content and quick tests.

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Whether you are a beginner at UI/UX or someone with experience at this field, Uxcel is able to provide value to both groups while offering a pleasant gamified approach to learning.

I started using Uxcel to formalize my knowledge of UI/UX and could not be happier with the experience.

I hope this review can entice you to give it a try, you'll not regret it.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Certain questions from one or two quizzes were too easy.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The necessity for a professional UI/UX online learning platform to enable beginners and professionals alike to become very good at all things UI/UX.

  ### 46. Flawless UXCEL: A Perfect 10!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debmalya M. | Student Ambassador, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

UXCEL's skill-checking games provide a dynamic and enjoyable way to reinforce learning, making the educational journey both effective and entertaining. The thoughtfully structured course modules delve into the intricacies of the subject matter, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. UXCEL has truly mastered the art of combining engagement with in-depth knowledge, making it a top-notch platform for skill development.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

While I appreciate the self-paced learning approach on UXCEL, one aspect I find lacking is the absence of a built-in feature for connecting with other learners or mentors. As this platform is geared towards self-paced learning, having a community or mentorship feature would be beneficial, especially for beginners who may encounter challenges and seek guidance. I hope to see these collaborative features integrated into the platform in the future for a more well-rounded learning experience.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel addresses the need for interactive skill assessment in UX design, providing structured courses for comprehensive learning. And this is helpful for me as a beginner.

  ### 47. Great way to learn basics of design

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikhil O. | Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel shines with its engaging, game-like approach to UX design education. Bite-sized lessons and interactive challenges make learning feel enjoyable, not like a chore. Clear explanations break down complex topics, perfect for beginners and seasoned designers alike

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Uxcel's gamified learning is fun and effective, but consider its limitations. The reliance on quizzes and linear path might not suit all learning styles, and the subscription fee could be a barrier. While it lacks the flexibility and diverse formats of some competitors, Uxcel's engaging approach remains a valuable tool for those seeking a structured and motivating UX learning journey.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel tackles your beginner UX hurdles by filling knowledge gaps with actionable lessons, hands-on challenges, and professional feedback. Its engaging format boosts motivation while building your skillset and prepping you for the job market. Consider the linear learning path and subscription fee before diving in, but overall, Uxcel could be your springboard to UX design success!

  ### 48. Excellent range of real world Challenges

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nivedha M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel has alot of amazing courses and also very insightful lessons, but the cherry on top for me were the real world like challenges. They really helped me understand where I stand as a UI Designer as I am a beginner. The prompt replies and suggestions from an expert regarding the submited work really helped me grow and find out where I need to improve and what I need to tweak to get an appealing and user friendly design. All the features in it play a major role and an addition of a skill graph is really helpful as it shows my skills on chart.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

As much as I enjoy using this website, it would really be helpful if there was an option to connect to people through the website itself. As a beginner and a newbie to the designing world, it can be confusing on who to have a conversation with, so having an option to chat up with people doing the same challenge or who have completed it can give an opportunity to learn.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have compiled all the things a beginner needs to know in one place rather me having to go search for each topic on different platforms.

  ### 49. As a frontend developer, I've been using Uxcel for deeper understanding UI/UX developing process

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I use Uxcel daily, as a part of my educational routine. The lessons are just the right length to fit into my schedule. This makes it easy to keep up with learning without feeling overwhelmed or pressed for time.
The site has a user-friendly UI and a nice and clean design.
I really appreciate that each lesson includes links to additional information. This is incredibly useful for delving deeper into topics that catch my interest. It enriches the learning experience beyond the basics covered in the lessons. Also, Uxcel is adding new content. The last huge benefit for me - is a lot of practice assignments with a nice feedback system.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Currently, Uxcel covers all my needs in UX/UX learning.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UXcel provides structured learning paths in user experience design. This is crucial for me to understand UX principles, which directly impact the quality and user-friendliness of the websites and applications I develop as the frontend developer.

  ### 50. Easy to learn UX and UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shin K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

As someone who's just starting out their journey in UX and UI design, I was intimidated by other courses as I feel they're too advanced but after I discovered Uxcel, their mini-learning lessons are very easy to digest and easy to understand. I also like the fact that they're constantly updating it with new lessons so you don't feel like you're missing out.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

This is mostly a self-paced site for learning UX / UI so if you get stuck or you're confused about something, you have to do more research on your own. I think it'll be cool to have a mentor on-site where paid students can schedule a session to ask questions or if they have a regular monthly or weekly sessions with expert UX / UX instructors who can help students with their projects.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm just starting to learn UX / UI and Uxcel is helping me advance my knowledge in the field with their expert guided learning lessons.
