**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I love Uxcel's cool way of making learning feel like a game. Breaking down the big, scary theory stuff into bite-sized modules, plus quizzes at the end of each module? Super handy! Each course contains tons of useful information - even if you've been working in the design field for a while already. Smooth navigation, clean design, and gamification elements — keep me coming back for more. Very happy to have found this app. Instead of annoying procrastination, I spend my free time learning and evolving as a professional.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

More variety in content and some real-world projects or examples from different industries would be awesome :)

It's membresies are expensive but nothing related with content.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the learning of easy and complicated concepts of the UI/UX world. Because I want to dedicate myself to it, it makes my training a lot easier for me.

Lot of relevant content to choose from.
Overall very thorough descriptions, with references to more in-depth literature (really helped me fill some gaps).
Fun to use, feels more like a game than a learning app.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

What I like the most is that there's lessons and activities that last from several minutes to up to an hour, which means that time is not an issue anymore when it comes to learning or practicing a skill; I normally take a small break to improve myself in some kind of skill or just test myself, and as the tests are like games, very light and dynamic, it's a pleasure to use it.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I'd like to be able to visualize each career path and how they interact with the others, since it can all be very similar and intersect at times.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me grow as a professional, as I get feedback on which areas I must know better according to the lessons I have taken in the platform. It would be even better if we had a placement test, so that the content would be personalized for my needs, not just based on the use of the platform, but also on the knowledge that I already have.

The test format of the courses makes learning feel light and easy compared to classic MOOCs with long and often boring videos. Every time a course can be completed, it automatically generates a LinkedIn skill which can be useful to showcase one's knowledge to recruiters. Moreover, it's quite fun to take the assessments and check out my own personal skills in different areas of UX!

The bookmark section could perhaps be improved for those who want to look back on content from courses they previously took in terms of navigation between different topics.

Some more material on design management would be great but i am sure they are working on it 😊

I especially like the gamified, Duolingo-esque, way of teaching you everything from the basics to the advanced in everything related to UX and graphic design.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Perhaps too much promotion and too many emails

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It teaches people the best practices on everything related to UX and graphic design. It also provides links to its sources.

Really great system of learning path, engaging and accessible for all levels. There is a large choice of content from Beginner to advanced. I use it on desktop and mobile everyday.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

The only thing i could say about Uxcel is that it would be great to have more content about 3D and creative process.
