The software provided by Paul and his team is A-tier and I recommend this solution as a Wordpress alternative for anybody looking to start a site without any developer experience. You will find the an extremely intuitive interface with almost everything included out of the box without having to install any plugins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are several things to like with the USkinned Site Builder:

- the flexibility to do whatever I want, but still being consistant wihtout having to apply to many front-end hacks.

Compare to all other CMS Site Builders that I have tried, there are nothing to dislike.

The only disadvantage, and it really is minor in the grand scheme of things, is that have limited options for adding custom functionality in Umbraco. uSkinned builds on top of great CMS Umbraco. It brings beautiful styles, it brings new Themes. It is fully responsive and yet it allows to dive into CSS/Javascript if neede for customization. It must be backed by a Visual Studio project. Hosting providers are not very mature for Umbraco. We jumped into hiring a Windows Server VPS 4gb ram wich is perfect for fine tuning the hosting. It simply adds so much functionality, and is super easy to use. It just has all the common components you need to build a website.

What i like the most about uSkinned is that it is a great tool and extension on top of Umbraco CMS. Which makes it even easier to use by our clients. Their is a big offering of functionality which covers a huge section of the request we receive from our clients. This gives us the oppurtunity to focus more on helping our clients with the delivery of proper content instead of a huge focus on a techinal implementation.
The performance of the website out of the box is really good and the team is really open for receiving feedback on improving to sqeeuze every bit of performance out the websites.

After using the uSkinned Site Builder for almost a year to create numerous customer websites and shop systems, I am absolutely impressed by its functionality and efficiency. I particularly want to highlight the Visual Designer, which facilitates website design and allows for intuitive adjustments. Another plus is the tool's easy expandability: As someone who previously only used my own developments, it was a refreshing experience to see how seamlessly our own developments can be integrated into uSkinned. But what is truly outstanding is the customer support. Every time I had a question or concern, the support was there to help and always provided quick and effective solutions. Despite its many advantages, the uSkinned Site Builder is not without flaws. During my use, I encountered bugs. Fortunately, the uSkinned team demonstrates an impressive response speed in fixing these errors through updates. Although these bugs can sometimes be disruptive, the exemplary support ensures that they do not become a bigger issue by always being there to assist and support.
