**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

UI is my first 'go to' when it comes to recruiting. I am so happy with the ease of use, quality of respondents, the quickness I get people to review, the features that are available, everything! Their customer support teams are amazing and respond in such a timely manner that I don't have to worry about how long it will take to get an answer on any of my questions, or the support I get throughout the whole process is stellar! The costs are unbeatable and the the invoicing process is so fast and easy. I can't say enough 'great' things about UI, I highly recommend them every chance I get, and will continue to use them on every project I can!

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I am admittedly not a 'tech savvy' person, and I know there are features that I could be utlilizing better, like skip logic, I just need to take the time to learn them. I don't have anything that I 'don't like' about UI, I am a customer for life!

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They take out the 'guess work' and I know that the respondents I get are already vetted and quality checked. I can target very specific qualifications and I don't have to weed through hundreds to get a few. UI makes my professional life so much easier and efficient, it benefits me in so many ways it is hard to count.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Truly, there is nothing I like about a platform that allows its dishonest clients - researchers - to exploit participants and collect insights for free, as attendance and completion are determined solely at the researcher’s discretion. Sincerely. 

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I completed a 1h30 research interview on this platform run on behalf of a large, well-known company (Bluehost). The study was fully completed, and I provided detailed answers throughout (video interview). 

After completion, the researcher marked me as a “no show.” and did not respond to my messages. 

I then provided screenshots and evidence of my participation to User Interviews, which refused to process the promised incentive, stating that attendance and completion are determined solely at the researcher’s discretion, with no independent verification or meaningful appeal process.

In practice, this means a researcher can collect insights and withhold payment without consequences, even when evidence is provided by the participant.

I invested significant professional time based on a guaranteed incentive advertised by the platform. The experience revealed a serious imbalance of power and a lack of participant protection.

I would strongly caution professionals and consultants against participating in studies on this platform. 

It proved to have no respect for your time and value.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The depth and flexibility available when setting up studies. The platform allows us to tailor studies to very specific research needs, making it much easier to recruit the right participants and structure our research effectively. 

I also really value the ability to pay participants automatically, which removes a lot of administrative work from the process. The UI is clear and intuitive, making it easy for the team to navigate and manage studies, and the ability to use templates helps us standardise our screening and recruitment workflows while saving time when setting up new studies.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

At times, the technical details of recruitment can be a bit confusing, particularly when trying to understand exactly who has been invited to a study and why certain participants appear on the waitlist. This can make it harder to quickly assess the status of recruitment. 

That said, this feedback has already been shared with the User Interviews team, and they have been responsive and are currently working on improvements to address these issues.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews has been a great solution for managing recruitment for both unmoderated and moderated research studies. The platform provides access to a large, diverse database of participants with a wide range of backgrounds, seniority levels, and skills, making it much easier to find the right people for our research. It helps keep our team organised by allowing us to use our own screening survey templates and manage studies efficiently in one place. We can easily track recruitment progress, see where we are with participant quotas, and quickly invite more participants if needed. The platform also simplifies the administrative side of research by handling participant payments, making the entire process smoother and more efficient for our team.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I joined the User Interviews panel a few months ago to earn some extra income, and I can say that I have found it to be a reliable and well-functioning platform. The interface is straightforward and user-friendly, and customer support is very efficient. I have participated in several interviews, and when I needed assistance adjusting my camera and microphone settings, they promptly called me from the USA to help. 

I check the dashboard daily to see if there are new offers that match my profile, but whenever they need my participation, they also reach out to me via email. While the platform doesn't have a lot of features, it provides everything necessary to complete tasks without confusion. I was able to integrate my camera and microphone easily, and whenever I needed help, I received the support required. I believe this company is moving in the right direction, and I hope that in the future, users will benefit from even more improvements while maintaining the platform's simplicity.
I hope that in the next future, the implementation could be even better than now.

So far, I have found only a small number of interviews that match my profile. I would appreciate being included in more opportunities.

I like the speed of User Interviews. I appreciate the surveys that are selected and the amount of money that I’m paid for my time. It helps with expanding my knowledge, and allows me to impart knowledge and get a few dollars on the side. I also find the setup to be reasonably simple.

I believe they could improve the website. Make it more concise. Give you the ability to delete things you no longer need. And at times I have glitches with the app both on desktop and mobile.

There are plenty of opportunities to apply for. I get emailed about opportunities that may suit me best. Payment has never been an issue.

As an older user, my opportunities are more limited. I also wish the qualifying questions would be thought through more carefully, so if I don't qualify, I am eliminated earlier. Sometimes I go through a ton of questions and get eliminated right at the end. There has to be a better way.

I don't use User Interviews directly to solve problems. However, in the course of using User Interviews, I have learned a few things. So, participating in User Interviews can be educational.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I like that User Interviews has a wide range of different people to reach out to, and they have their LinkedIn for verification. The interface is pretty easy to understand. It's also helpful to set things up as fast as possible so I can get tests out quickly and then look at both qualitative and quantitative data to build and launch product features.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

There are many times when users did not show up at the scheduled times, which was a big problem because then we'd have to scramble to find new people and set up new times, and that just really delayed our entire testing process. Also, people that would show up that weren't the right fit or were potentially scammers. So they need to revisit their verification process. It was either I wasn't added to the right project or I just couldn't find the project I was looking for, so I'd have to reach out to someone to send me a direct link.

I use User Interviews to get direct feedback, meeting face-to-face with users, which helps validate or test our assumptions.

What I value most about User Interviews is how easy it is to recruit participants, which saves us both time and effort. The participants are consistently high quality, and the diversity within the panel is especially impressive—it's one of the reasons we use the platform so frequently.
We also really appreciate the customer support team; they’re always helpful and responsive, though we rarely need to reach out since the platform is so intuitive to use, implement, and train others on. The seamless integration with Zoom, Teams, calendars, and email is another major plus that makes our workflow even smoother.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

There are very few aspects of the UI that I dislike. One issue I have is with the messaging system for participants—the display is quite poor, and I often have trouble locating who has messaged me. Additionally, while the filters have seen some improvements, I still feel they require further enhancement.

The interface is extremely user-friendly, which makes the UI stand out as one of the best for programming. UI has makes implementing complex skipping logic incredibly easy. I really appreciate the customer support—they respond almost immediately and are always ready to assist with any questions or modifications we need.

The absence of a 'Must select one of' option makes it quite challenging to set up multiselect questions that require one of the few options to be selected. This limitation complicates the process of programming such questions. If this is fixed my life will become much easier as I use this every single day.

Programming a study has become easier with UI, since the interface is easy and the tool is full of features, I specially love the way we can implement skipping logics, which is kind of tricky with other platforms.

I like that I'm able to easily refine my criteria of users and get several candidates quickly in the pipeline to talk with. The feedback they provide has helped me several times on projects. Whether it's getting initial direction from users or having them take a look at designs and provide feedback. Very helpful. Also, support is extremely helpful and quick to respond.

AI is becoming a problem that's tough to navigate. I've received several users that it was clear they were either a fake person or a person who was reading a prompt from ChatGPT or some AI Interview assistant. Tough to tell if you're receiving real life feedback or just a prompted response from AI.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It's extremely easy to screen and schedule participants.  In addition to the custom screener you set up, you can target participants based on demographics that are already recorded in the application.  The video screening is also a huge bonus: it completely removes the need to phone screen participants.  Additionally, the support team is very responsive and helpful.  I really appreciate the help from the support team in adjusting targeting mid-recruitment, for example.  Honestly, this is a fantastic platform and I'm excited to continue using it and getting more familiar with the features.  I can easily see myself becoming a power user of User Interviews.

Some markets / metropolitan areas don't have as many users registered on the platform, which can make it difficult to recruit for some specific geographies.

I really like how easy it is to review respondents once they come in. I also like that there is someone online for customer support that can assist within a few hours no matter what my issue is.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The screener functionality within User Interviews could be improved. It's pretty baseline right now which means I do find myself choosing other vendors over UI at times. I'd like to be able to have more complex screening and quota management capabilities within the platform to ensure I'm getting who I need, especially for some complex recruits.

It alleviates the need to go to external panels and do all of the leg work of a set up call and consultation, etc. It's easy and I simply just plug in my screener and can launch at any point.

I find the setup process of User Interviews to be quite straightforward due to its simple and intuitive UI, making the initial stages non-problematic and efficient. I really appreciate the onboarding process from User Interviews, as their customer success team provided us with a personalized session that was extremely helpful to get started. The platform itself is quite intuitive, so I didn't encounter much trouble navigating it. Additionally, the availability of regular syncs with the user interview team is quite beneficial for ensuring everything runs smoothly, although everything has been functioning well enough that I haven't needed to use these syncs frequently. User Interviews has also significantly helped in bridging the disconnect between us and our potential buyers by allowing us to gain real insights that have become crucial in dictating our product and marketing strategies. I find the criteria setting feature particularly useful, as it allows for intricate targeting of our specific persona, ensuring we find relevant candidates with detailed information. The screener option enhances our ability to narrow down interviews to candidates who provide valuable insights. Consistently, the quality of customer support is commendable, as they assist in addressing issues promptly. The platform's ability to target specific individuals and the diverse pool of candidates available is particularly impressive and reinforces my willingness to repurchase the product.

I have encountered some cases of fraud where individuals create profiles only to earn a few dollars, which was somewhat easy to detect. Although I reported these incidents to User Interviews and those profiles were subsequently deleted, I believe they could improve their criteria by adding stricter requirements. For example, requiring participants to provide social media links or LinkedIn profiles to verify their identities would help mitigate this issue.

I find User Interviews to be incredibly user-friendly. The interface is intuitive and easy to set up, which has allowed me to quickly acclimate to the platform. The tool's ability to facilitate both moderated and unmoderated recruitment is immensely useful for our research needs. **What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The organization of the application is straightforward, modern, and easy to use. I think the information architecture is digestible and efficient. I use User Interviews weekly and was able to onboard quickly, launching my first study on week 2 of the job. I love how easy it is to compensate participants for their time, and the ability to adjust compensation upon completion - i had a scenario where a manager was in an employee study that was moderated and i was able to pivot the questions and compensate him fairly. I love that I can connect Maze, Zoom, and Qualtrics to UI and launch studies quickly.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I wish I could create a fork in a screener so that I could target two user groups within the same study without having to duplicate projects to target managers in one and employees in another. I also dislike that I can't remove a bad participant while the project is still live. It makes no sense that the project has to "end" before I can mark participants as bad or incomplete and then "relaunch" to fill my quota.

UI allows me to run a variety of research methods quickly and efficiently thanks to the supported integrations with Zoom/Maze/Qualtrics. I am able to gather insights that positively impact our design roadmaps.

I have been using User Interviews for about ten years and appreciate how it efficiently manages both the pool of research participants drawn from our customers and other professionals in similar fields. I love its intuitive, self-service nature, which simplifies the recruitment compared to traditional agencies, making it more cost-effective. The platform's scheduling features are very useful, allowing for easier communication with participants to set up sessions and handle participant management. I appreciate the streamlined process for participant compensation, which makes the payment of incentives much simpler. The capability to identify industry professionals outside our customer base who fit the research scope is exceptional, helping find participants we might otherwise miss. Additionally, I find the ability to create and reuse templates very handy for frequent research projects. Lastly, I value their customer support, which is responsive and thorough, especially in resolving technical queries swiftly.

I encounter challenges in finding the specific types of professionals needed for research, particularly in fields like cybersecurity or specific IT roles. Some instances involve participants attempting to fake credentials or backgrounds, which impacts participant quality despite using screener questions. Although infrequent, these issues persist.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I love the integrated payment system. Being able to handle participant compensation right inside the project streamlines my workflow nicely. I'm also big fan of how easy is to build a panel from our user pool. On top of that, the flexible scheduling across time zones and different ways participants can book a slot is massive help (specially to us since we are distributed in different time zones).

Cherry on top: Customer support is always there and it has an answer to my request in no more than 24 hrs.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I think one friction point for me is the lack of a one-click "add to calendar" function for participants in the emails that we sent through User Interviews. Also, the time zone display can be a bit confusing to participants; I've had more than a few participants get confused about the actual interviews time, which kind defeats the purpose of a scheduling tool.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It tackles the headache of finding and managing participants. The most helpful thing for me is being able to easily manage and segment my panel (from my user pool), my specific group of users is tight there and makes targeted recruiting more efficient.

Managing incentives and giftcards after each study was time consuming before coming to User Interviews. By having the payments directly into the project, it turns a tedious accounting task in to a one click task, wrapping up my projects in a snap.

They have an incredibly large panel of participants to choose from, and they've adjusted their criteria for targeting, which makes using them a bit easier. They're also usually very communicative about projects and helping you achieve your goal. They're definitely more of a qualitative platform, as their scheduling features and screener function works best for that kind of research.

Their UI is a bit slow and often times lacking. They market the ability to use their tool for quantitative studies with the unmoderated study type, but it's very bare bones and the integration between UI and other survey tools like Qualtrics or Alchemer works when it wants to.

User interview often provides the last bit of data we need, or a small number of participants we can reach out to for interviews.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

There is a few things I can mention about UI that makes me generally think about using this platform first over any other network that my work has available to recruit professionals. 

1 - The project design is very user friendly. I was able to pick up how to create a project and source the type of respondents I am looking for.

2- The service from their reps is very helpful. After launching a project, you receive an email swiftly from project coordinators and alike to help bring ideas to adjust the project design to reach more respondents if it seems like a more difficult recruit.

3- UI has worked with us in many situations where there was fraudulent participants, making me feel like their customer satisfaction is not disregarded.

There's probably a few others, but ultimately I can rely on UI and their team to help me to the best of their capabilities.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The only thing I can say here is that in the past, there were a decent amount of scammers that would use the platform. UI has communicated with us that they're adding additional security to resolve this issue, and we've noticed that recently.

Well done.

Again, just the scammers and faulty respondents. It'll be hard to capture every person who says who they are but aren't, but UI received a ton of good will from us with the constant communication and making up the difference for scammers passing through.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User Interviews streamlined our research process significantly - now it's never been easier for us to run testing on our products.

Setting up a test can be done in a quick-turnaround - now we go from research plan to recruited participants within the same day, and the whole start-to-finish is really intuitive. We pretty much solely use User Interviews for any moderated testing we run.

Their support is top-notch: we have a dedicated account manager on hand to quickly answer any questions, and I've never felt like I've been stuck on the problem for long.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I feel like the lack of unmoderated tools can be an area of improvement for the tool. We've had to look for a more complete tool for unmoderated testing. Whilst I love User Interviews for the moderated work, having a deeper unmoderated toolset would really make them unbeaten.

User Interviews heavily streamlines the research process - from set-up, recruitment, arranging the calls, and even post-interview compensation. I can't imagine running research without it.

It has a vast panel and the participant quality is really good. The design and possibilities have been constantly evolving. For a UX/User Researcher participant recruitment is the biggest or one of the biggest struggles but User Interviews has changed the way I work completely, saving me time and effort. I use User Interviews for the B2B panel, both moderated and unmoderated studies, and I find excellent participants in a couple of days. Screener questions are also great to have.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Nothing! I noticed great progress in filtering fraudulent participants, which was my only pain point, and providing us with guidance now that AI makes it even easier for them to enter.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All B2B and consumer participants are available, a few clicks away. Filtering participants with screeners makes my final selection on point. Scheduling via User Interviews saves me plenty of time. Incentive distribution provided also would be a struggle if I had to do it, what to offer to whom and how to track this.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I like the participant invitation and recruitment experience in User Interviews. We use it both for recruiting external participants and for testing with our known customers. I was really impressed with the way that it handles communication with participants, and allows me to be upfront with participants with the screeners as well.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

It has some weird quirks - and it requires admin-level access to undo some of them. I had to take over a research project from a departing colleague but the email address that User Interviews was using as a reply-to (and the email profile overall) was not editable once set up. We ended up reaching out to support and they solved it instantaneously, but still, this shouldn't have been an issue to begin with.

It helps me invite, schedule and manage participants easily, and keeps communication with them very streamlined. I don't need to worry about time-zones, opening up slots on my calendar, and dealing with the pain of finding suitable reschedule times. User Interviews handles these very well for me.

We use UI across multiple projects every month. If you are looking to move at speed, it's a really quick and easy way to recruit during a project. Our recruitment times on specific types of projects have gone down drastically. The tool is also easy to use and the support is amazing!

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

It takes time to set up a screener especially if you haven't done it before, or perhaps you are trying to screen for a very specific B2B audience. I'd also say that the B2B audience, that we are interested in, is a lot more niche on the panel and hence reduces how pointed we can also be.

There have also been times where we had to tweak the objectives of the research after we have screened participants - consider launching recruitment way ahead with your stakeholders instead just so that you have a sense of the type of people you could engage through UI.

Recruitment is a challenge, especially in the context of B2B recruitment. UI helps us find these specialist users/participants a lot quicker and cost effectively.

User Interviews has been incredibly helpful in recruiting the niche target audiences we need for moderated testing. Before using their platform, our recruiting process took about five times longer. I've also really appreciated the support team. They’ve offered great guidance on writing effective screener questions and setting up our projects for success.

We're a relatively new customer and have only used User Interviews a couple of times so far, so I haven't encountered any downsides yet. I'm especially looking forward to the upcoming transcription feature. I think that will make the tool even more valuable.

The most valuablee unique thing about userinterviews versus other competitor platforms is the ability to program flows into the screener in one place AND the unique ability to conduct focus groups.

Ease of integration is 4/5 since guessing on timeline is rather difficult.
Ease of use is 3/5 for me. Some of the nomenclature and figuring out what participants I've recruited and if they are scheduled was a learning point.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The task flow for adding participants to your studies is extremely unintuitive. When you land on the participants tab it takes you to an all participants screen. It probes you to contact them to get started. There is no estimate on timeline for how soon one can expect participant recruiting to begin or a contextual reference for how fast they can get participants.

This makes adhering to my own work roadmaps rather difficult because I have to take a educated guess on what will happen timing wise.

Additionally having to switch from Hub Panel view to recruit participants view is unintuitive. It took me a significant amount of time to figure out thats how I can utilize participants the company has used before for studies. 

If I am clicking on a participants tab I am there to recruit participants so it is rather obnoxious to have to click into another level just to accomplish my main task here.

Sourcing participants and automating getting participants so I can focus more on conducting sessions and influencing business stratergy.

I've done a bunch of studies that paid $40 to $100 for just 30 to 60 minutes of my time. For what it is - talking about my opinions or using a product - it feels worth it. Signing up was simple, and the interface is clean. I can easily see which studies I'm eligible for, and I like how the screeners don’t take too long (most of the time).Almost all the studies I’ve done are remote. I’ve done interviews over Zoom, surveys, even a few diary studies - and I never had to leave my couch, which is the best thing.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

For some studies,  few screeners are so detailed they feel like mini-studies themselves. And there’s no compensation if I don’t get picked. It feels like some companies are fishing for insights without paying.

User Interviews is solving the problem of access — both for researchers trying to find the right participants, and for people like me who want to get involved in paid research but don’t know where to start. Recently conducted a series of focus groups and interviews using User Interviews to recruit. The process was very smooth, with extremely good customer service/support. The platform itself was very easy to use, and facilitates all aspects of the recruitment process - from screening and identifying participants, to selection and scheduling, to auto-reminders and incentive delivery. Basically has all the features I need to be able to seamlessly recruit for both in-person and virtual sessions. Participants also seem very engaged in scheduling and then in the focus groups themselves.

No downsides I am seeing right now! Everything is great

User Interviews is an excellent tool for recruitment, especially with the added ability to use the Research Hub and incorporate our own participant list. The quality of participants from the User Interviews panel is generally very high, and the platform makes the recruitment process smooth and efficient. Their customer service is also very responsive and supportive, which enhances the overall experience. UI genuinely makes my life easier while undergoing the tedious task of recruitment, and I use it for literally every project I do.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

One downside is the lack of auto-save, especially while writing the screener or updating study design or details. There have been instances where I’ve written a detailed screener, stepped away for a moment, and lost my progress after refreshing the page. Additionally, it would be helpful to have a chance to update the project incentive for all participants, as long as they have not already completed the session.

UserInterviews is very easy to get set up with and use to recruit target customers. I use it every week as a UX researcher and have been satisfied with the speed of recruiting the users I need for different types of studies. The screener options are quite detailed which is great. I have also used the feature of adding my own participants to talk with specific customers. Scheduling and reminders are seamless and I have had an easy time getting any needed support.

The messaging feature can be buggy, telling you there is a new message when there is not (when you have the message UI open)

User Interviews is a solid platform that allows seamless recruiting for research studies and allows participants to be managed in a singular platform. All communications can be automated making the process of recruiting much less of a headache. You can add other team members as collaborators or comoderators making recruitment and participant management a team effort. There customer support can also be helpful at times as everytime I forget to add a small detail such as a participant agreement when i've already launched a study they can quickly fix this for me even if it's already been launched.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Direct messages with participants could be improved. Often when I message a participant there response will only show up via email and not be available in the user interviews platform making it difficult to directly communicate with participants.

I love the concept and the features...it's really a shame their recent redesign has made using the platform so annoying.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

A recent redesign of their website has made key features frustrating to use — which is ironic, given this is a tool designed for user experience professionals. In particular, paying participants and editing screeners are now unnecessarily complicated. The UX team seems to be over-engineering things, with endless windowshades and tabs within tabs.

For example: when editing a screener, a windowshade opens. If you accidentally click outside of it, your work disappears — I lost 20 minutes this way. It’s inefficient and frustrating. I would have rated the platform a 9 if not for these design issues.

Editing participant numbers per session is also poorly designed. If session durations are short, the session details aren’t visible, so it’s unclear how to adjust the participant count. This level of friction has me seriously considering competitors. Launching a study feels like a constant struggle, and managing participants isn’t straightforward.

There are some obvious usability problems as well: for instance, banners sometimes cover error messages. It’s clear this company needs to bring in experienced UX professionals. My company has actually started moving to alternatives — this tool is not cheap, and there are many other vendors out there that offer a better experience.

UserInterviews.com is incredibly effective for sourcing high-quality participants quickly. The targeting options are flexible, the screener logic is intuitive, and we consistently get reliable respondents—even for harder-to-reach demographics. It’s also the engine behind participant sourcing for many research platforms like Whyser.ai, making the entire process of gathering user, customer, or market insights seamless. Studies are often up and running within minutes—and in our experience, most recruits are fulfilled within the first hour or 2.
Customer support is also a big plus, we run a lot of studies and the support team is always there if there for anything we might need help with.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User interviews allows you get access to a panel of interviewees that provide insights. I've used user interviews to be able to select participants for interviews based on demographics or through select questioning. Their software allows you to define which participants you want easily. All interviewees are easy to talk to and are well informed about their scheduled date. If there are any issues support helps organize a new interview or helps with any issues of scheduling interviews.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Sometimes the panel doesn't have participants for niche groups. It takes some time for the organization to find the sample size. However their support is very helpful with fixing any issues and even help redefining terms of screeners.

Really inconsistent and usually poor customer service; it seems there's no shared source of truth or standard practices on the customer support side, and our team often gets snagged in their chaos and inconsistency.  We also love the videos as part of the new screening process, but without a way to filer by video submissions or make it required, it creates new friction in the process.

The ability to recruit high-quality participants in a setting where fraud / bots has been very minimal.

User Interview's layout is simple to navigate and makes me inclined to check consistently for new studies. I have been using User Interviews for a while and have participated in a good amount of studies. Each time I thought the directions were clear and the payout process was easy.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

One thing I don't particularly like about User Interviews is that some studies don't have a detailed description listed before users apply to participate. This makes it a little annoying at times since I start applying to what sounds like a good fitting study and a question towards the end of application shows me that I don't actually match. I think a little more information about each study would be helpful so users don't waste their time.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use User Interviews to participate in studies and get paid. This is benefitting me because many studies are online and I am able to fit them into my schedule easily. I enjoy contributing to research and making side money from doing so.

User Interviews makes it incredibly easy to participate in research studies. The platform is user-friendly, the communication is clear, and the compensation is fair and timely. I really appreciate how seamless the process is from applying to getting selected and completing the study. It’s a great way to contribute valuable feedback to brands and earn something in return.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

At times, it can be a bit disappointing to apply for several studies without getting selected, even when my profile closely matches the criteria. Additionally, some screening surveys feel a bit lengthy without clear feedback on why you’re not chosen. A bit more transparency in the selection process would improve the experience.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I love the quick turnaround between sending invites and getting confirmed participants. Being able to add branding to our invites increases trust. I also like the screener functionality and ease of use, clean participant-facing UI. Customer support is responsive and easily accessible in the tool. For these reasons we use User Interviews for 90% of our projects.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Participant management can be a headache - the filter functionality in Hub doesn't cater to our needs, so we can't utilize it unfortunately. I also don't like how some features can be removed - for example there was functionality to see all participant data with customizable columns in one view (extremely helpful), but after a redesign this is only available on certain views, not including currently scheduled participants.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UI helps us recruit faster and in turn deliver more results. The speed of recruitment is exponentially faster than our previous process, which frees up bandwidth for coordinators on tedious tasks like coordinating reschedules or sending reminder emails. It's greatly helped us keep organized with participants and comms.

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The addition of Tags and Notes has been incredibly helpful. Also, the new function that allows questions to be added as separate columns for each screener version is an excellent feature. Over the past year, there have been significant improvements, which have made a big difference in recruiting efficiency.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

One key improvement would be the ability to add images to questions and answer choices. Sometimes, respondents struggle to fully understand the text alone, leading to confusion in their answers. Incorporating images would make questions more intuitive and improve response accuracy.

Another useful enhancement would be the ability to integrate dropdown menus for specific answer types. For example, when asking, "Which brand and model do you use?", a dropdown for selecting a brand could dynamically trigger a corresponding model selection field. This would eliminate the need for multiple pages and significantly streamline logic management. Currently, due to these limitations, we often have to create multiple pages and complex logic to refine the answers correctly.

Additionally, it would be helpful to have the ability to send messages to respondents in the same session. At the moment, once participants are classified under "Approved" or "Completed," it requires manually searching for each respondent, which can be time-consuming.

Lastly, I really appreciate the bulk messaging feature, which allows multiple respondents to be selected at once—it’s incredibly convenient! It would be great if a similar selection function could be applied to choosing completed respondents as well.

Overall, these improvements would further enhance usability and efficiency. Thank you!

Better Organization & Tracking – Features like Tags, Notes, and the Question Grid allow me to keep track of respondents more effectively, ensuring I have all the necessary details at a glance.

Improved Communication & Scheduling – The platform makes it easier to send bulk messages, coordinate sessions, and manage time zones, eliminating the need for manual follow-ups.

Enhanced Screening Process – The ability to customize screeners and review responses efficiently helps ensure we're selecting the most relevant participants, leading to higher-quality insights.

How This Benefits Me:
Saves time and effort in recruitment.
Reduces manual errors and communication delays.
Improves data accuracy by ensuring the right respondents are chosen.

*One additional improvement I'd love to see is the ability to bold or highlight text within questions. Sometimes, certain key phrases or instructions need to stand out, but currently, all text appears the same. Adding formatting options like bold, italics, or underlining would make it easier for respondents to focus on important details, reducing confusion and improving response accuracy.

I love the scheduling feature.  It helps me schedule and track research participants.  I like the email templates, which make sending invites a breeze.  I like being able to track participants and rate them.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

On occasion, I've had fraudulent participants when using their panel. Customer support did help clear up the problem but I still would hope they would do a better job of vetting the panel in the first place.

User Interviews helps streamline the entire process of managing research participants, from recruiting, inviting, screening, and providing the incentives.  UI has greatly cut out the work from this necessary part of User Research.

I love how user friendly it and how it has reduced the amount of back and forth required when interacting with potential participants. It has drastically increased the pace at which we can turn around research and reduced the manual steps in our flow. I appreciate the support team as they are always super responsive, helpful and kind. This is a tool I highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I would love to see improvements with uploading users to a study and not having them immediately imported into the hub. Managing users is a bit more strenuous than I would like and requires too much time and effort on part of our researchers to clean up the participant pool.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has increased our study execution efficiency. It has removed many manual tasks, especially when sending and receiving consent forms and getting individuals scheduled. It is also helping our enterprise see where there is overlap with participants and is helping ensure we don't overcompensate individuals.
