  ### 9. Efficient website monitoring solution for businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria L. | E-commerce site administrator, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

It is great to see how Uptime.com tracks our websites and notifies me immediately when the sites go offline. This has helped us to respond quickly, thus curtaining enormous inconveniences. Furthermore, performance analysis tools are very useful to detect minor defects that, if left unaddressed, may ultimately evolve into major concerns. Integration with Slack ensures that we are able to directly alert the members and can act without any delay.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Something I don’t like about Uptime is how it sometimes sends out false alerts, stating that it’s down when everything is ok. This disrupts our workflow as we’d have to manually verify if the issue is real. The tailoring for alerts could be more flexible as well, particularly when seeking to refine and refine what alerts we want. Slack integration is nice but integrating with other platforms isn’t quite as easy or intuitive.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime prevents us from having such unexpected website downtime issue by sending us real time notifications when something goes wrong. This has made our online community quicker to respond and kept our site running smoothly, which is essential for maintaining customer base. It provides detailed performance insights so we can see slowdowns or problems before they reach critical. In general, it actually helps us monitor our site a bit better and keep uptime up as a whole, making everything more efficient.

  ### 10. Great monitoring solution for staying ahead of system issues

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agnes M. | E-commerce site administrator, Printing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

The best part of Uptime.com I think is extensive features it offers as it has great reporting and monitoring facilities. It feeds me realtime data quite often and helps me to stay abreast of our system’s health. The specific reports are very helpful in enhancing the functionality of our site. I can say integrating with Uptime.com was easy and now it is an integral part of my work to ensure systems are up and running without any problems.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

What I did not like in Uptime.com is that some of your features take time before you can understand their operations. It took a little while to understand all the detailed reporting options available with the basic templates of the tools. This has somewhat reduced our performance regarding the exploitation of all options the software offers, which slightly inhibits performance metrics tracking. Ideally, tutorials or some onboarding material are more available to make the process a little quicker.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com has been important in avoiding unscheduled outage for our systems. This has proved useful in the sense that outages can now be attended to as soon as possible thus greatly improving our online service management. It makes sure that customers never face problems and our business is always online and fully functional without any glitches experienced. In the longer term, it’s made it easier to work on other tasks since there’s no need to constantly check for downtime.

  ### 11. Reliability That Inspires Confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Reliability. Our team gets alerted instantly when there's issues, so we can address before customers and partners notice anything. It covers everything we need from a monitoring perspective, including regular reporting to exec team of our uptime and SLAs.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Nothing, really. Maybe a bit expensive. Could use a start-up option.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Detects outages in real time and notifies us before they impact our users.
Delivers fast alerts via multiple channels (SMS, email, Slack, etc.), enabling us to react quickly

  ### 12. Uptime is great for monitoring your application availability

  ### 13. A simple probe for a simple need

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

The basic features are correct and allow for quickly setting up a probe with the associated alerts. One can easily benefit from a monitoring and tracking infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The interface is sometimes confusing and should be simplified. Once you get the hang of it, you can do most of the basic things you expect with this kind of tool.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring and alerting by an external tool, monitoring of SLAs, and provision of a status tracking page.

  ### 14. A reliable and user-friendly solution for monitoring API availability and performance efficiently

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Overall, Uptime.com proves to be a reliable and user-friendly solution for monitoring API availability and performance efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Not easy way to setup notifications on smartphone.
The Android application was removed from the Play Store for a few days. It's strange, considering that it is a very valid and excellent service.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime allows you to be notified when an API on your server is not working properly.

  ### 15. Easy Monitoring and Alerts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

  ### 16. Monitoring website uptime is now super simple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah M. | Senior E-commerce manager, Automotive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

For me, Uptime has one brilliant feature – the ability to monitor resources in real time and display alerts. This capability is very essential to ensure that any challenges with the website are detected early enough to avoid or reduce their impact. The integration of this platform with our communication tools which are Slack and PagerDuty helps our team to be on top of the incidents. Further, the analytics and reporting tools give long term performance trends that help the management to make better decisions.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Amongst the negatives of Uptime, it is slightly hard to set up under startup but it is due to the complexity of monitoring tools. It was somewhat confusing as to the settings to adjust the application to be able to give heads up and convert into the reports we wanted. Also, the pricing can be a little on the high side especially for the small business firms and hence can be a bit restrictive. These aspects have sometimes cause a drag in our implementation process and complicating the decision making when it comes to setting our budgets.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime has effectively provided the check for the unforeseen website downtime and performance glitches through the monitoring and alert system for real time information. This has been very useful to us as we have been able to address such problems quickly and without a lot of time being lost thus keeping our customers satisfied and trusting our business. The software helps me identify patterns of issues that are likely to reoccur so that the faultiness of the website is minimised and the user experience is enhanced.

  ### 17. Best monitoring solution for uptime and performance

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adel E. | Security Operations Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com is easy to use and comes equipped with a powerful set of functions that I enjoy. The real time monitoring is great as it notifies me immediately when our site is down. Slack integration means that I receive notifications in the team’s channel, so we always stay informed. Customer support is excellent and is always there to help when needed. This software has also helped to bring down time taken to address some problems to ensure that our site is back to normal.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

A disadvantage of Uptime.com is that it generates occasional false alarms and this causes stress. Such notifications have interfered with my work schedule and have made me lose focus by having to check phantom issues that do not exist. Also, some functionalities are missing when using the mobile app in comparison with the desktop version, thus I am less efficient when away from my workplace. Somewhat, these issues detract from the reliability and ease of use of the applications, our work efficiency.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime addresses the main problem of website unavailability by giving genuine availability reports in real time. This has been very helpful to us as the team can easily detect if there is an issue which needs to be worked on before it becomes a very big issue. They often are available and provide status reports that are useful for reviewing performance trends and thereby enhance the reliability of the site. In general, it has increased the efficiency of our team and provided a better experience for the users resulting in more efficient daily functioning.

  ### 18. Great product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime is helping us being always prepared to server us customers in the best way.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Constant emailing can be exhausting, but overall it is good.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being always up, of course!

  ### 19. Simplify your performance tracking for better reliability!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra B. | Customer Relationship Manager, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I’d say that the primary strength of Uptime is the fact that it’s very easy to use. This is because monitoring and alerting are very easy to configure, than invoking the entire process. We integrated it with Slack so that we receive all notifications straight in our communication app, which is very convenient. From check list to check type to detailed reports, it is hard for issues to come and bite us when there are so many features available. This has enhanced our operations through better integration and easy use of the interrelated parts.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

A weakness of Uptime is the false alarms that it provides, regarding downtime. Such fake alerts may cause us to get stressed and waste time in checking what in reality is not an issue at all. Further, despite the availability of so many features, it becomes quite challenging to handle all of them and optimize their function to the maximum. This has to some extent created ambiguity and hitches in the effort to understand things, which affects productivity at one point or another.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime is useful to monitor the availability of our website to the public. It gives us immediate information about shutdown or low speeds which helps to minimize the effect. It has significantly over improved our reliability and satisfaction from customers. Detailed reports are very helpful to identify and correct our various shortcomings and to improve our services delivery. What I benefited from it, is that I can dedicate less time to the emergency situations and more time to the improvements, which is a great benefit for the every day work within my team.

it was a bit difficult to understand things at first but the learning curve is not high

Monitoring and notification processes for our website, independent of our own systems, are useful to us.
It prevents our losses by reporting the problems that occur live.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

More free site support can be provided.
Packages can be offered at lower prices to countries like us that do not use $ pricing policy.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our system needs to be operational 24/7.
While we were looking for a tool that would instantly notify us of any problems that may occur 24/7, we started trying uptime, and it meets our wishes.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

One-stop dashboard for website/application systems monitoring and alerting. User-experience is smooth and, despite a lot of information is condensed, valuable insights can be derived in a very straight-forward manner.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Although I have not experienced it myself, I have heard that sometimes alerts can be sent/arrive with some delay. In addition, it seems pricing plans could be more competitive, but this is not really my concern or area of expertise.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our one-stop dashboard providing us with monitoring and alerting tools that allow us to mantain our essential services running and to meet with our Service Level Aggrement requirements.

  ### 26. Great company to work with!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I love how easy it is to configure things. Their support team is friendly and responsive and helped me resolve technical issues quickly. They have many ways to get alerts if something is down, and there is no delay in alerting once a check has failed. We also love the built-in reporting they have available. It's clean, and we don't have to modify it in any way before sending it to clients.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

My only complaint would be with the maintenance windows for checks. I would love an option to enable maintenance for a set duration. For example, enabling a maintenance window for the next 4 hours. You can configure a one-off maintenance window, but you still have to specify the start and end times.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com is helping us monitor our entire website and several critical processes. It helped us achieve increased business performance by alerting us of issues quickly so we can fix them before their impact is noticed by our clients.

  ### 27. This product knows what it wants to be and who it's for

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Almost the only product (apart from Uptrends, but its UI is not very good) that has flexible SLA settings per day and hour -- this was crucial to us since we were looking for something that would help us with reporting for a big client, rather than internal monitoring

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Gets expensive pretty quickly -- the functionality like the action Recorder and everything else is very useful, but I'd rather get at least 3 status pages on the first paid tier. Also, we can't really use the more advanced checks (Transactions?) because the responses might have sensitive data, and it doesn't seem that the tool has security certifications

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping within custom SLAs for various service elements provided to a specific customer, and spending as little time as possible setting up the public uptime page

  ### 28. It was very prompt and efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manjari P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime's dashboard and customization is superb

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

In uptime, more feature can be added and more customization can be given to user.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its helping us to keep a track of our business uptime

  ### 29. Critical SaaS Monitoring Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laird R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com's global reach and flexibility ensure the ability to properly monitor our SaaS infrastructure with an external lens. The amount of configuration allowed by the platform is exemplary.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The ability to configure the way response time on a transactional synthetic test is disseminated would be helpful. These tests are often multi-step processes that might take many seconds to complete. This artificially inflates the response time instead of providing the average response time for each of the requests made in the test.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to monitor our SaaS infrastructure's multiple endpoints globally. The configuration allows us to build complex system checks while delivering a Trust Center status page to our clients.

**Official Response from Anna White:**

> Thank you Laird for taking out the time to share your positive experience. For any concerns related to transactional synthetic test, please reach out to our Support team at the link below:

  ### 30. Reliable Website Monitoring with Uptime.com

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhananjay R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com's best features are its reliability, user-friendly interface, and 24/7 monitoring and alert system. **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunal D. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Things that I like about Uptime are:
It allows for monitoring website downtime, page speed, and domain health - an all-in-one solution.
Simple and easy-to-navigate dashboard.
It also provides response times for your website.
Allows monitoring web properties, email and network.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Things that I like least about Uptime are:
Good things do come for a price.
A free trial for a more extended period would be great.
You need a paid account to use all features.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes my life easy as the monitoring part is taken care of by Uptime and alerts whenever there is downtime. Overall a great product. Sends me alerts whenever my server goes down.

  ### 44. All around a very useful tool for monitoring web-api health. Very configurable.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Conor . | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

The rapid response time from alerts is extremely advantageous for monitoring the health of a wide range of deployments. The way API checks can be configured is a blessing.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

One slight thing that bothered me is the way that check groups appear in the list of all checks. This is somewhat distracting, and I would prefer this was hidden/hidable.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of not being able to have visibility of deployment health. This greatly impacts responsiveness to any issues there might be for any of our customers.

  ### 47. Simple, easy to use monitoring that is reliable and just works!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew S. | Senior Director of DevOps, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

It has lots of different checks available and is super easy to integrate into our other alerting and monitoring solutions. Compared to some of the other products we use it has more features and is priced better. As a software developer, I liked the API documentation and it was easy to consume. Being an email service provider, having reliable SMTP testing was also important. The transactional web testing makes sure that our login process goes uninterrupted.

I also really like their status page. We were able to move off of our legacy system and integrate real-time status reporting for our customers. Our product team is looking into integrating our status reporting directly into our main portal using their APIs.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The only thing I don't like is that you are limited on the number of users you can have until you go on a premium plan. Other than that I don't think there is anything else I don't like about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Uptime.com:**

We were very happy after we switched from pingdom.com. They had more features, better pricing, and were more reliable.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

uptime.com allows us to monitor our systems externally so we can detect failures quickly and meet our customer's SLAs. It also integrates with our on-call paging system so that we can respond to failures quickly. We wanted a system that was reliable and wasn't going to wake up our engineers in the middle of the night with false alarms. Being an international software provider, having reliable testing from multiple regions was a must. Also making sure our SSL certificates are up to date is a great added bonus.

Previous services we used were flaky at times and would often page people in the middle of the night. With uptime.com, having fine-grained control over the regions we test from and the failure conditions has allowed us to reduce false positives to 0.

  ### 48. Affordable and reliable, whether you are big or small.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like that there is a plan/tier for all sizes of company, including very small companies like ours. This is invaluable, as many companies geared towards B2B have moved towards starting packages that are just too big (and expensive) for smaller companies.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I have to say that I have yet to find a definitive and objective downside to using uptime.com for our monitoring. They offer so many options and features, it's hard to find a weakness or shortcoming!

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small company that can't afford to have dedicated personnel actively monitoring all of our systems and sites. The versatility of uptime.com has allowed us to offload this task to an intelligent and ever-evolving service that alerts us in a number of ways so we can immediately jump into action when something does go down. The public status page feature also allows us to be transparent to our users about service uptime and availability.

  ### 49. User friendly, easy to setup complex checks, prompt support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Monitoring is so easy and user-friendly with uptime. You can set up multiple checks using different scenarios and validators.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Need to have more logging so that it's easy to troubleshoot the check which is not working

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring and identifying issues before it becomes a critical issue

  ### 50. uptime allows the anxiousness of your site potentially going down, not be as big of a worry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack H. | Director of Growth Marketing & Demand Generation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like that it gives you instant updates and that you can set the timing expectations for how often you would like the uptime program to check and make sure your websites that are being tracked are still up.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I wish there were more options for notification settings, overall the platform is great and this is more of a want than a need, because their notification systems are pretty good already.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to have live 24/7 monitoring of the uptime of our website. With customers being able to purchase on our website we need to have the sign up and purchase active at all times.
