What I like best is the Breach risk section as I am a red teamer, and I have the role of managing vulnerabilities and helping team to mitigate them.
UpGuard is really a very good consideration for ease of use, implementation, customer support.
Its easy integration with the help of API with jira was a good and easy task.
I use it on a daily basis.
Vendor risk assessment and identity breach sections are also very effective Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I dislike about this.
But I think there should be a customized dashboard dedicated for each country which can be easy to find out by country wise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use UpGuard almost every day. It is easy to use and communicates complex cybersecurity issues in a simple and transferrable way. It's easy to implement. Their customer support has helped me on a number of occasions and are quite responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its price. I wish I had the ability to export data in a more customizable way. I wish there was more data available, or a way to visualize internal data in custom ways. While it is easy to integrate to okta, I wish I could more easily integrate external data visualizations to leverage UpGuard's data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to get a quick snapshot of a potential vendor or service quickly and then dig deeper either prior to procurement, as part of procurement or simply to know more about your own external attack surface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is an external view only and gaps can be identified and managed with extra effort but it does take effort. I know a lot is going into AI and learning as much from publicly accessible resources such as privacy pages and reports so this will help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate how UpGuard makes security monitoring effortless, especially through its automated scans and continuous monitoring features, which have proven invaluable in identifying vulnerabilities in our systems. For example, during a routine audit, UpGuard flagged a misconfiguration in our Provider's cloud storage settings that could have exposed sensitive data. This allowed us to address the issue proactively before any harm occurred.
The user-friendly interface is another standout feature. For instance, the dashboard provides clear and actionable insights, enabling me to prioritize and resolve security issues efficiently. Despite not having an extensive background in cybersecurity, I have been able to configure and manage security protocols independently, which has significantly streamlined our workflows. One aspect of UpGuard that could be improved is the complexity of its customization options. While having many settings is beneficial for tailoring the platform, it can sometimes be overwhelming to navigate through all the choices. For users without in-depth technical expertise, it may take time to fully understand how to configure the platform for specific needs, which could hinder efficiency in certain scenarios. The web application interface, is well designed and provides the insights required for each role.
Customer support is very good, when required the attention is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe it would be good to have more reports or more features, e.g. more things for cyber threat intelligence.
The download feature as well should be improved by changing the download options, for example, for downloading a risk report you need to create a label and do a lot of things, instead of being easily downloaded in csv format (not with a lot of Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The use of UpGuard in our organization is primarily self-monitoring our public digital footprint for two main reasons: diligence and attack surface discovery, as well as being proactive in terms of the information that some of our key customers receive about our security posture.
For the first purpose, Upguard has proven to provide relevant and accurate information that may overlap with the information that we receive from other security rating platforms to which we are subscribed or our Attack Surface Management service, but in some cases, the information is unique.
For the second purpose, the use is simple, but having those findings only on the Upguard platform allows us to be proactive in keeping a good risk rating.
We don't use the platform for third-party monitoring, just occasional "snapshots" during the onboarding of vendors, risk analysis, or acquisitions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is common for all security rating platforms; they are all adamant about changes in asset attribution or accepting alternative risk fixes.
Also the remediation workflows are not designed for working internally inside our organization, sharing risks. But there are workarounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was very easy to setup and start getting useful data. Data that is useful internally as well as externally for auditing. We can also provide a portal for external vendors to view and manage their own risks.
The customer support is prompt and informative, but not needed that often as the online knowledge base is well thought out and useful. Setting up integrations like SSO is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can be costly, which is a shame for a tool that can really help smaller Not For Profit navigate regulatory and compliance guidelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UpGuard's emphasis on risk management and cybersecurity is, in my opinion, one of its most notable aspects. It helps in solving , managing , and monitoring on our website tracking of data leak and giving third party vendors use through. This is particularly crucial for businesses attempting to stop cyberattacks or data breaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it happens that the risk is remediated but it fails to detect it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Upguard makes it easy and convient to manage TPRM. I have created multiple custom cyber security questionnaires all of which used programmable logic to make it more interactive. It is similar to no code programming, which is one of my favorite ways to build tools. I use frequently use Upguard to check our risk score and it makes it easy to compare it against competitiors. SSO easily integrated with out envrionement. Additionally, the customer support has been consistent and prompt. Our implementation period was swift. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Upguard could implement more features to better allow for export of data into formats such as CSV. Additionally, Upguard should implement a feature that scans vendor websites for public email addresses, which would allow us to keep in conact when we are no longer able to contact the original contacts.
