**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

Using UpdateAI has drastically improved my productivity! I can now focus on tasks that require much more time and attention. I use it every day, and I cannot imagine what it would be like if it went away. I highly recommend it!

Not really any downsides that I can think of.

-Ease of CRM integration - all meetings and notes get automatically logged 
-When I am not in a meeting I can go back and read the recap that Update AI took to get all caught up on an account

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

Update.AI has solved my notetaking problem and missed action items from internal and external meetings. That was what attracted me to the product first. Then, I learned about more advanced features like customer insights, external meeting sharing, and Hubspot integration. It is all I ever wanted and more from a tool that keeps expanding to fill customer needs.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

This is small, but I was having difficulty in receiving timely responses from the support team. Timely is defined as within 24-48 hours during business days. However, the leadership team stepped up and set a call with me directly to solve the issues I was experiencing. A true partner mentality, even for my small team of 3, and I'll never forget this level of support from the CEO.

**What problems is UpdateAI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team and I not only have our list of action items from each meeting and timelines for any follow-up meetings, but we also capture insight into our product and the sentiment of our customers toward our company. These are data points that are then shared with the company internally to improve our products and services.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

The summary of the call is spot-on, covering all the crucial topics in a clear and concise manner.
It doesn't need require much to start using, it's simple to plug-in to your calendar and CRM - I didn't need support from IT and other folks.
It has a very well-built "action item" list; it assigns ownership of the task and details. 

Its functionality allows easy sharing with other folks so they can use the information, and it seamlessly logs my notes in Hubspot.

It's not just the hours a day that it saves me and my team, but the peace of mind during the calls knowing I can focus on the client and not be desperate taking notes, worried I'll miss something. I can now be fully engaged and still have good notes!

I use it for all my meetings, internal and external, everyday - it makes a huge difference and my colleagues quickly adopted it.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

It's sad I didn't find this earlier. I used a different note-taking tool in a previous job, and the notes were so cluttered with information that they brought no value. They were long texts, and I was almost trying to transcribe what was said. I thought all tools were like this. 

I think Update AI needs to advertise more on how the notes they generate are more objective and useful than the others. Having used another tool doesn't mean you have any idea what Update AI does.

Update AI enables me to dedicate myself to the people and not to taking notes, asking people to talk slowly, or repeating some information we may have missed while creating notes. No information gets lost, and people get a premium client servicing experience.

I have found Update AI very easy to set up and use. It works like a charm.  didn't need any IT support to get started. It’s very user-friendly and easy to integrate with your calendar and CRM.


The call summary is accurate and comprehensive, capturing all the essential topics in a clear and concise manner.

The "action item" list is well-designed, assigning task ownership and providing detailed descriptions.

Beyond saving hours for my team and me daily, it provides peace of mind during calls, allowing me to focus on the client without worrying about missing details. I can now be fully engaged and still have thorough notes!

I use it for all my internal and external meetings every day. It has made a significant difference, and my colleagues adopted it quickly.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

I really like how I can really interact with my clients in the call without haveing to take my own notes. I can use keywords for action items and follow-up tasks.  I also like the convience of recaps for prepping for my next call as well as sending out recaps following a call.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

I do not like that the customer cheat sheet comes out midnight befor the call, as I like to prep the day before. It would be great if the cheat sheet for calls came out 24 hours ahead of time. This is minor though.

I can be more engaged without my clients instead of having to take notes during our calls. I love that I can mention "Action Item" and the note taker with bullet that as a follow-up.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

Two things/ One, the speed at which meeting recaps are created and published to our CRM, which has been game changing for productivity, efficiency, communication and collaboration. Second, the global, cross-customer portfolio insights to help leadership understand themes around advocacy, opportunity and risk.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

It's early in our evaluation, but there is little lacking in functionality. As the product evolves, I expect to see improvements to the organizational set up, restrictions and overall account management, in addition to the official launch of a few fabulous features currently in beta.

**What problems is UpdateAI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) Freeing up CSM time drafting and delivering thorough recaps to account teams and customers, as well as updating our CRM. 2) Aggregating themes across customers to identify areas that need attention, especially in communicating enhancement ideas or bugs tied to our software.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

It was very accurate on transcribing the video calls into easily digestable insights and action items. Set up was real easy with my Google account. When I had an issue (which was rarely) it was resolved quickly. I even had the CEO reach out to me asking about my satisfaction.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

Due to working for a very risk adverse company, I had a hard time convincing my Legal team that this is a tool we want to keep. Because it's generative AI, we had quite a few hops to jump through (no fault of Update AI's) for our Legal team to approve us in using it.

Taking notes and laying out the action items from our call is whats its solving for.. It's allowing us to concentrate on the call and note taking notes.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

I love that my CSM team doesn't need to take detailed notes and can actively listen to their client conversations. Update AI allows our team to actively listen and the notes are taken for them. I also love that Update AI gives summary and reply email templates to speed up the busy work our CSM team has following a call.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

Update AI is a new company so with any new company there are areas of strength and areas of weakness. Integrations are what Update AI are currently working on. They listen to their customers and create workarounds so none are deal breakers for us.

Update AI solves a few problems for my team. 
1. It allows my CS team to focus on conversations and not worry about note-taking.
2. It allows us to speed up our post-call tasks faster making the team more efficient.
3. It allows for early indicator warnings for churn and opportunities for new product enhancements.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

There are a variety of transcription services. They either have a very broad user base or they focus on people in Sales functions. I jumped on UpdateAI bandwagon early on because they are helping businesses customer related outcomes, regardless of the department their users are in. It's a more holistic customer-centric approach. The AI is being honed to recognize the language and context of customer-related activities. Such as strategies, relationship risks, product feedback, key figures, and action items.

They have Mickey Powell the AI guru and thought-leader.  Josh Schachter, also a thought-leader, visionary, and eager to learn from their customers. The Support team is swift to resolve any issues. It's easy to implement and use. You can feel their passion to make this the leading and best solution.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

There is nothing I dislike, perse. As with any new AI it takes time to refine it. Yet Josh and his team are incredibly swift and agile, rapidly making updates that have meaningful impact.

**What problems is UpdateAI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ultimately, they are strengthening the relationship between me and my customer while helping me work more efficiently. I can maximize the time in our meetings to garner greater value with even deeper conversations. The distraction of manualy taking notes is eliminated.   I can trust it will be recorded, transcribed, they'll call my attention to relevant information, and deliver it in an actionable manner.

UpdateAI makes it so I can focus in on my calls and not worry about taking notes or making sure I mark down a feature request. 9/10 times the AI catches everything and jots it down for me! It also puts together all of my notes significantly faster than I could. By the time my next call is done, notes are waiting in my inbox! UpdateAI has cut down the time needed to take calls and notes after a call significantly better enabling myself to actively listen and engage in calls with customers.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

I wish I could create recorded snippets of calls, for example, of product features. These would then be shared with our product team.

**What problems is UpdateAI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer waste time updating notes/CRM at the end of the day. Most of the time it's a quick copy/paste and maybe adding a few notes/summary if there is something that needs to be called out. Otherwise, UpdateAI has made note-taking as easy as a copy and paste!

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

UpdateAI seamlessly and automatically records my Zoom calls and then uses AI to provide a smart summary with key highlights, next steps, key numbers and other items essential for a CSM post-meeting. Those summaries and key snippets from them (e.g. a feature request or product feedback) can be auto-inputted into Salesforce, Hubspot, and other CRMs. The program works smoothly, and the company is constantly innovating and adding features based on customer feedback. Already UpdateAI is a product I couldn't live without, and I am excited to see where it is headed in the future.

Oh- and MIckey Powell, one of the founders - is a GURU of AI knowledge - check out his free e-book and speaking engagements (podcasts, webinars, etc.) if you haven't already!

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

I would like the ability to train the smart summaries a bit more to hone in one the aspects most key to my business. And, I would like the ability for UpdateAI to join on meetings where I am not the host. But, I believe the latter ability is already in beta - and the former is being worked on!

**What problems is UpdateAI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AI takes notes and summarizes my meetings so I don't have to!  Also, it provides ability to hone in on key quotes and snippets to share with team members so I can better persuade them to act on client feedback. It also sends me an email to help me prepare for my upcoming meetings for the day so I don't have to dig as deeply into my CRM to recall what was discussed in the previous meeting.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

The Smart Recaps are game changing- both for calls I lead and calls my team leads that I'm unable to join. I used to struggle to truly be present, listen and take notes on calls. Now, my full attention is on our customers- allowing me to really listen, present with better body language and virtual eye to eye contact (which matters!), ask better questions and engage in productive dialogue without worrying that I'm not capturing enough accurately. 

My CSM team heavily relies on the recaps to help add their own touch to post-call emails with their respective customers: saving countless hours of time each week! 

Our Product and Design teams have also joined in- leveraging UpdateAI to recap user feedback and roadmap review sessions with customers. This has given us a significantly better ability to capture customer feedback, issues, ideas and more. It's been great to share back with CSMs who may/may not be on those calls- ensuring we're all on the same page and hearing the same things. 

We've also seen our GTM/growth teams adopt UpdateAI- making handoffs/knowledge transfers a breeze!

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

We are on HubSpot and the integration isnt quite perfected/established yet, but our RevOps team is working to ensure we can fully leverage the integration. This very well could be on us.

**What problems is UpdateAI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UpdateAI saves us time (say goodbye to notebooks and scrambled notes). It also helps break down communication barriers internally- leading to greater alignment and solution development.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

I love how the notes are split with Action items, Risks, Important Numbers, and Product feedback, it really provides good actionable insights into the meeting.
I usually take extensive notes during my meetings to have as much context as possible for my next ones, so I like how the tl;dr is also extensive.
The smart clips feature allow to double check what the AI generated, and I also add the time stamps when sending a recap to clients so they can go directly to the relevant part of the recording without having to search through the whole video. I think customers are also more likely to go back to the video/notes than if I just sent them the whole recording with less context.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

Unfortunately it is only available in English.
The automatic follow up email that is AI drafted is in my opinion not refined to have it sent automatically to all attendees following meetings. Something that would help on that is if it would possible to feed some words to the AI, notable the name of my company which (understandably) it doesn't spell correctly. This case could probably not happen with bigger known companies though.

Taking notes as to not miss important points, especially for long meetings. 
Once refined, the follow up email drafted would be amazing as well.
It overall helps with saving time.

What I loved most about UpdateAI is that it allowed me to be present during calls and actievly engage without having to worry about taking notes (being able to read my own handwriting, etc.) and/or looking off screen to take notes,etc. The thorough follow up recap and action item next steps have been key to making sure to-do's dont fall through the cracks.

I honestly dont have any dislikes about UpdateAI! I love the calendar extension and the recommended follow-up communication is a nice to have.

UpdateAI is helping me keep account team members (and clients) accountable for action items/follow up, but moreover provided a thorough analysis/recap of conversations.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

This has really helped with getting notes taken and highlighting topics covered in calls. We can now focus on the conversation rather than taking notes and pausing the conversation. We can focus on our active listening skills. This has also help cut down on our time spent on creating followup emails as well. This is fast becoming a tool that I can't live without as it makes our work that much easier to do. 

The features are constantly expanding and the technology is getting better with transcripting. It was very easy to setup the integrations to zoom, slack and salesforce. The support team is very responsive as well, I can send an email and usually get a quick response within the same day.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

The transcriptions are not always the right words anc sometimes the outline is not exactly correct, but again this is getting better.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

The "Smart Summary" emails that are automatically sent out after each call is what I like the best about Update.ai. This time saving capability is gamechanging. My email recaps are written for me so with only a few adjustments, and adding in my own flaire of course, my call recap / thank you email to a prospect or client is complete! 

I also like the reporting of the call's talk ratios - what % each person on the call spoke. As someone who's prone to being garrulous when I'm passionate about a topic, the talk ratio metric is helpful in my continual personal development!

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

Nothing that I dislike. I look forward to a future feature (fingers crossed!) where time stamped snippets are inlcuded in the Smart Summary email to the meeting host. Just a personal preference feature request.

Update.ai is helping me record, monitor, and glean key business insights from my firm's client-facing calls. My team and I are more productive as a result of the Smart Summary email recap feature.

As a Customer Success Manager, I have found Update.AI to be a real game-changer. This platform sends automated reminders for upcoming client touchpoints and follow-ups, ensuring that no crucial tasks are overlooked. It also helps me stay more attuned to my customers' needs.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

Limited Integration Options - UpdateAI only connects to Zoom. It would be great if it can be plugged into GoogleMeet or MS Teams.

Very long delays in receiving call summary - With other note taker apps, a summary is received within minutes of a call ending (AI summary included). With UpdateAI, it could be hours before the call has been processed, causing an unnesscary delay in sending my recap minutes to my customers.

Collaboration  and time management lies at the heart of successful Customer Success management, and Update.AI understands this perfectly. The platform allows for more effective meetings and internal and external communication. **What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

My favorite thing about the product is that it doesn't have to be a participant on the call. 

I also love the landing page that they create of each call, with the recording, AI-curated notes, and transcript. This means that you can delete the recording from zoom (which has limited storage), and still have a copy of the call. You can also share it with others.

Oh, and the team is great! Always open to product suggestions, they offer great support, and they are constantly educating their network with webinars, helpful linkedin posts, etc.

I don't dislike anything about UpdateAI. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with next!

It allows me to be more present on calls because it takes all my notes for me. I also love having a record of the call (recording & transcript) that's hosted outside of zoom so that I can free up zoom space.

As an EA supporting two of the largest orgs in the company I'm hard pressed for bandwidth to attend every meeting, type up notes and send out action items that are crucial to our business. UpdateAI is a game changer and there's no going back! The summary transcriptions are pretty spot on - they are able to catch and understand anagrams (there are ALOT of them). Each meeting is recorded, summarized and action items/important dates and numbers are pulled and bulleted. :chefs kiss:

It's little buggy but the support team is FABULOUS. Very responsive and willing to hop on a call to sort things out.

Time. My most valuable asset is time. I spent too much of it trying to take notes for a multitude of exec meetings that were 1+ hours long. The burn out was a problem and my notes missed the mark more than once.

UpdateAI gives me time back in my day and helps me focus on what matters.
I must pay full attention to my customers and what they say in meetings. 

Taking notes while on the call gets in the way, and trying to remember all after the (or wasting time watching the recording just to dig them out).

With the TL;DR function, I have a clear understanding on what were the main topics on the call, it helps me to identify risks and action items.

I can simply push it to my CRM and get ready for the next meeting.

Update.AI returns incredibly accurate summaries of meetings. They break it down into action items, business risks, educational risks, etc.  Knowing that I do not have to take notes on partner calls allows me to focus more on the conversation because I know that Update.ai will capture all that I need from the conversation.  It was super easy to install and the integration with Zoom and my Calendar make it seemless.

Currently, I can not think of anything that I dislike about the program.  If I have had any questions or issues, a simple email has helped me quickly resolve them.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

I like the automated recaps of meetings which allow me to be more present on my Zooms and less worried about taking notes. As the Founder of an investment syndicate, this is particularly helpful for meetings I have about investment opportunities with new Founders. Thes recaps save precious hours during the week as I no longer have to worry about updating my Hubspot CRM. 

I also have to share important information with new LPs about how we invest. I have used the video recap within the Smart Summary™️ dashboard to send instructions to hundreds of new investors, which has saved me a ton of time in onboarding.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

No downsides but would be great to have more graphics/visuals to understand trends from the conversations I am having with Founders and LPs.

Instant meeting updates and they provide a recap right after the meeting. If I have consistent meetings with a certain person, it sends out previous meeting recaps which makes it easier for a customer success professional. Easily integrated with Zoom and Gmail and don't need to tinker around once you have set it up already

I'm very impressed by the quality of meeting recaps generated by UpdateAI. It works seamlessly in the background and sends an email with a summary of main points discussed, action items agreed upon and key metrics/numbers shared during the meeting. This means I no longer have to take manual notes and can rely on the tool to recap everything for me with a very high degree of accuracy. It saves time and alleviates cognitive load.

I don't like how the meeting has to be recorded in order for the transcript to work. Some meeting attendees are not comfortable with being recorded, for example during 1:1s with my team.

I love being able to have a list of key next steps after each call that I can quickly send out via Slack to internal and external stakeholders. Being able to edit those key action items is a gamechanger as well.

If not everyone at the company has it enabled, I don't always have all calls logged in the library, but just shows how valuable we find the calls that we do get summaries for.

I need to be extremely efficient and don't have time to go back through calls to document each ask. It also allows me to be more engaged with each customer by not having to take notes myself while I'm meeting with the customer.

The ease of use and the quality of the notes that you receive afterwards. They are well structured and are made for customer success! 

Also meeting recaps that are shared before a next meeting (like a couple of days after as a follow up) are pro-actively shared via mail!

Nothing really for the moment. They are starting up and a lot of additional features are added but none of the earlier one ever showed any bugs or anything so can't complain.

It is speeding up taking notes during a meeting and summarizing them after. 

The fact that you also don't actively have to write anymore during a meeting helps with keeping you attention 100% with the customer without the fear of missing anything!

I love the way UpdateAI spits out tasks and assignees as well as quick meeting recaps. Additionally, the workflow of sending me a slack update with the majority of this information is so useful. It's made my post-meeting time much more efficient and increased my productivity.

I've found that people are still concerned about being recorded. Additionally the full transcript has made people uneasy about speaking freely in certain contexts. I woud love to see functionality that allows for toggle like options for outputs.

I no longer need to take notes at meetings. UpdateAI does it for me - it pulls out the most important tasks, suggests whom they are assigned to and gives me all the important numbers discussed.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

Automatic recording of notes, to-dos, etc is great. The feature that gave me the best surprise and delight reaction is the Meeting Cheatsheet prep email, which includes the key info from the last call. When doing back to back meetings it's great to be able to just scan that I feel like I can fall right back into the flow of the "conversation" with that customer.

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

I don't always agree with what the tool identifies as _the_ most important key points from a call. I've chatted with the product team about this and it sounds like it's an area they're constantly improving as they get more data and usage. So that's neat.

**What problems is UpdateAI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UpdateAI addresses a couple of things. One, by having a robot take my notes I'm able to be more present in a meeting. I also capture more coherent notes than I would if I were writing them myself. Additionally, I have the full transcript to reference back to and easy preparation for my next call. That all ensures I'm able to deliver a better customer experience and focus on solving their business problems more and on my organization less.

**What do you like best about UpdateAI?**

The biggest task was to concentrate on the meetings and take notes of the key points, this software has literally taken the taking notes part and it does an amazing job of getting key points discussed, action items, risk factors, and numbers discussed. After the meeting sends it to us via email and Slack if we have linked Slack. Saves a lot of time, and is a great tool for streamlining workflow. Very useful and once we start using it there is no going back! Can't wait to see how the software would develop and grow in the future. Definitely, a great software if you work in any field!

**What do you dislike about UpdateAI?**

There are some errors with the words being captured, which can be easily edited after, not something I dislike this would be more like nitpicking. Pretty sure as they grow the tool will get even better at recognizing and transcribing pointers! Awesome tool

Saves time, helps me take notes without having to do it, and sends me a brief of the meeting with the key points, action items, risks identified, numbers discussed, etc..,. UpdateAI has proven to be very accurate when it comes to summarizing meetings. Since they work on top of the individual transcripts of your Zoom calls, there's no need for a bot to join the call.

In addition to the basic zoom recording functionality that you can get with other platforms, UpdateAI is super valuable becuase it puts together key action items to take after the call. It also makes it easy to highlight key moments of the call. These featuers combined makes the follow up time much faster than any other notetaking app i've used.

I would love to see a Hubspot integration to send key insights from customer calls into contact properties and save me some typing. This would make admin work after calls essentially zero.

Admin work around calls (notetaking, following up, etc). UpdateAI records calls and provides a bullet list of follow up items that I need to take care of after the call.

I wish I could customize the default template. I currently edit the report prior to sending as there are pieces (ie: numbers, who spoke most) that I do not want to send.  I feel I have to edit before I can send.

The meeting recaps rock. I love the sync with Slack to remind me of my action items. I can easily send the transcript, meeting highlights, and video recap to our COO. It makes my life a million times easier to action follow-up items following a call.
