The strength of Dell EMC, as a whole, is its proactive support, whenever there is a problem in unity (not that there is very often) the Dell EMC support team proactively contact us and help us with the solution. or repair.

Currently, we use Unity300 for image and video storage with the MAM - Alfred system and for Backup, together with the Bacula Enterprise tool, and we also use it in one of our Vmware clusters, where we run less critical applications. Unity has always been stable and, until today, with 5 years of use, it has not presented any type of failure, working on a 24x7 basis. It's a great product that delivers what it promises. Also, domain authentication is a bit of an issue. For example, once you allow domain authentication, you would expect to type username and password on the login screen. However, you need to use the format user@domain which in itself is not too problematic, but the username is actually case sensitive.
