## Unit4 ERP Reviews
  ### 1. Efficient for Service-Oriented Firms, But Needs Better Usability

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praney M. | Product Design Manager 2, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I like Unit4 ERP's project and people-centric design, which feels naturally oriented towards how project-based businesses actually operate, unlike many other ERP platforms that feel built for manufacturing and then awkwardly adapted for service organizations. The financial visibility at the project level is genuinely useful, allowing me to see budget versus actuals without needing custom reports or manual data pulls. I appreciate how the platform handles timesheet management, project budget tracking, and resource utilization without feeling like workarounds. The alignment with workflows that matter most to service organizations meant less customization was needed, allowing implementation efforts to focus on specific organizational requirements. This also helped to get clients up and running within a reasonable timeframe.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

The reporting flexibility is probably the most consistent frustration across the engagements I worked on. Getting specific operational views or custom reports built out required more technical involvement than end users could manage independently, and for organizations without dedicated ERP support resources that dependency created bottlenecks. The standard reports cover the basics but anything beyond that becomes a configuration project. The interface also feels dated in certain areas. Navigation is not always intuitive and there were recurring situations where team members needed guidance on finding specific functions even after initial training. For a platform being positioned around people and usability that gap between the promise and the day to day experience was noticeable, and contributed to slower adoption than the implementation timeline had anticipated in a couple of cases.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unit4 ERP solves the issue of disconnected financial and project data, reducing reconciliation overhead. It integrates project financials and resource planning, enabling informed decisions and providing visibility into budgets versus actuals at project levels. This alignment minimizes customization, fitting project-based operations better than manufacturing-centric ERPs.

  ### 2. Unified Client Management, Needs Better CRM and Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry O. | Senior Frontend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I appreciate how Unit4 ERP serves as a single source of truth for handling the entire client lifecycle. With everything flowing through one platform, I don't have to jump between different tools to track where a client is in the process, whether it's onboarding, billing, or account history. This continuity is significant because it saves me time and reduces errors like invoicing mistakes or missed steps in onboarding. It also enhances the accuracy of information, which is crucial in a regulated industry like mortgage lending, where mistakes can be costly. Additionally, the platform simplifies reporting and makes gaining visibility into operations much easier.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Honestly, there are a few areas where it could be stronger, especially for mortgage. The CRM side isn't really built for what we need. Managing borrower relationships and lead nurturing works, but it's not the platform's strength, and we end up leaning on it harder than it was probably designed for. I'd love to see deeper CRM functionality there. The other thing is integrations specific to financial services. Connecting to credit bureaus, appraisal services, the kinds of third-party systems that are core to how a mortgage company operates, that's not as seamless as it could be. Better industry-specific APIs or pre-built connectors would save a lot of work. And performance under high transaction volumes is something I notice. When things get heavy, month-end, big batches, it can slow down in ways that are noticeable. For a system that's meant to be the backbone of operations, you want it to feel rock-solid even when the load is high.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unit4 ERP eliminates fragmentation by consolidating client lifecycle management into one system, preventing errors and saving time. It provides a single source of truth, reducing invoicing mistakes and onboarding errors, which is crucial for the regulated mortgage industry.

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I like that Unit4 ERP helps me align my finance, HR, and other departments. It's really good at handling a lot of data from many employees and lets me filter it however I want, which is super helpful. It's a useful and simple tool that allows me to do a lot of things, like making groups, managing teams, and controlling various aspects of human resources. I love the people-centric design and the flexibility and tailored architecture. The initial setup was really easy, and whenever support was needed, it was perfect. I also use Unit4 ERP with PowerBI for reports.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

I didn't like the UI inconsistency and the payroll limits that it has.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Unit4 ERP to align my finance and HR. It handles data from many employees and lets me filter it as needed. It's a useful, simple tool for creating teams and managing HR, and I love its people-centric, flexible design.

  ### 4. Flexible and Comprehensive, Yet Needs Speed Improvements

**Reviewed by:** Bruno D. | Technical Support Specialist, Computer & Network Security, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I appreciate Unit4 ERP for its flexibility and its focus on the 'People Experience.' I find the module features in Unit4 ERP to be rich and comprehensive. The good support I received also helped a lot during the initial setup.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

I find that Unit4 ERP could be improved in a few areas, especially flexibility and overall complexity. Navigation, processing speed, and cloud latency also feel like they could be better. In addition, I think the subscription price could be a bit lower.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unit4 ERP helps with agility in change, is industry specific, and provides an integrated suite. Unit4 ERP is engineered specifically for people-centric and service-oriented industries (such as professional services, public sector, non-profits, and higher education). Unlike traditional ERPs designed around supply chains and manufacturing physical goods, Unit4 focuses on optimizing organizations where the primary asset is human capital.

  ### 5. Flexible, Scalable ERP with Detailed, Reliable Financial Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleksandar Y. | .NET Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

What I like most about Unit4 ERP is how flexible it is once you get used to it. It allows you to adapt workflows and reporting based on your needs, which is really useful in day-to-day work. I also find the financial reporting quite detailed and reliable, and it helps me get a clear overview of the data without needing too many external tools. Overall, it feels like a system that can grow with the company rather than limit it.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

One thing I don’t really like about Unit4 ERP is that the interface can feel a bit outdated and not very intuitive, especially in the beginning. It takes time to learn where everything is, and some actions require more steps than expected. Also, performance can sometimes be a bit slow when switching between modules or loading larger datasets. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does affect the overall user experience.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unit4 ERP helps bring different processes into one place, especially when it comes to finance and reporting. Before using it, a lot of data was spread across different tools, which made it harder to get a clear overview. Now everything is more centralized, which saves time and reduces mistakes. It also makes it easier to track performance and generate reports when needed, without relying too much on manual work.

  ### 6. Comprehensive Solution with Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I like how Unit4 ERP centralizes our financial and operational data, streamlines approval workflows, and improves visibility into budgets, costs, and overall performance. It effectively solves the problem of dispersed data among different systems, spreadsheets, and manual processes by providing a centralized management system. I appreciate that it brings a lot of important business processes into one structured system. The finance and reporting capabilities are especially valuable because they make it easier to track budgets and costs. Additionally, the level of structure Unit4 ERP brings to day-to-day processes, including approval flows and reporting options, is very useful. The ability to keep financial and operational information connected is another feature that works well.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

One area that could be improved is the overall UX. Unit4 is powerful but some parts can feel complex or not very intuitive at first sight. I think better onboarding, clearer in-system guidance and a more modern interface would make it easier and faster to use.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Unit4 ERP to centralize financial and operational data, streamline approval workflows, and enhance visibility into budgets, costs, and performance.

  ### 7. Reliable ERP Solution for Daily Operations

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

One of the main downsides of Unit4 ERP is that some processes can feel slow and require multiple steps to complete simple tasks. The user interface could also be more modern and intuitive in certain areas, especially for new users. Occasionally, system performance and loading times impact efficiency during busy periods. In addition, some reporting and customization features could be improved to provide more flexibility and a smoother overall user experience.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unit4 ERP helps centralize financial and operational processes into a single system, which reduces manual work and improves overall efficiency. Before using the platform, managing data across multiple tools and spreadsheets was more time-consuming and increased the risk of errors. With Unit4 ERP, it is easier to track transactions, generate reports, manage workflows, and maintain better visibility across departments. This has improved collaboration, saved time on routine tasks, and helped streamline daily operations more effectively.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno A. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

What I like best about Unit4 ERP is how user-focused and people-centric it is compared to traditional ERP systems. Overall, Unit4 ERP stands out for its flexibility, ease of use, and focus on improving user experience

One aspect I find challenging with Unit4 ERP is that, like many powerful systems, there can be a learning curve for new users. Some features and workflows aren’t immediately intuitive without proper training, especially for users who are new to ERP systems. I also think certain customisations or updates can take time to fully integrate into existing processes. However, with the right training and support, these challenges are usually manageable and don’t take away from the overall value of the system.

  ### 14. Flexible and People-Oriented ERP That Adapts to Your Business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandros L. | Junior QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

The best thing I like about Unit4 ERP is how flexible and people-oriented it is compared to other ERP systems. It feels designed for organizations that work with projects and services rather than factories and warehouses, which makes it much easier to understand and use. I also like that many changes can be done through configuration instead of heavy customization, so the system can adapt when business needs change.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

What I dislike about Unit4 ERP is that it can feel complex and overwhelming at first, especially for new users. The system offers a lot of functionality and configuration options, but this also means there is a learning curve before you can use it confidently. Some screens and processes are not always as intuitive as you would expect, which can slow down everyday tasks until users get familiar with the system.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unit4 ERP solves the problem of managing complex, people-driven processes in one unified system, instead of using many disconnected tools. In organizations where finance, HR, projects, and procurement are closely linked, it can be difficult to keep data consistent and up to date. Unit4 ERP brings all these areas together, which reduces manual work, duplicate data entry, and errors.

  ### 15. Unit4 ERP Has Improved My Workflow and Simplified Daily Tasks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

  ### 16. All-in-One Platform That Streamlines Operations and Empowers Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abílio P. | Full-stack Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

What really stands out is that everything is centralized—finance, HR, projects, and procurement all operate within a single system. This means there is one source of truth, eliminating the need to juggle multiple tools and spreadsheets. The workflows are also quite people-focused: once you get used to the main screens, it becomes straightforward to follow processes from start to finish, whether that's timesheets rolling into project costing or HR data integrating with planning and reporting. The project and financial management features are especially valuable, as they provide real-time insight into budgets, resource allocation, and margins. This makes it much easier to identify and address issues early, rather than waiting until the end of the month.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

My main frustration is that the system can sometimes feel sluggish or cumbersome, particularly following major updates or when dealing with highly customized configurations. Its high level of configurability means that upgrades and new features occasionally act unpredictably, often necessitating additional testing or assistance from the vendor to resolve issues. While the web UI is generally satisfactory, the mobile experience and in-product guidance fall short compared to more modern SaaS tools. As a result, new users frequently require training or internal documentation to become proficient.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unit4 ERP primarily assists in replacing fragmented systems and manual processes with a single, integrated platform. With this approach, data only needs to be entered once and is then automatically shared across finance, HR, and project modules. This not only reduces errors but also accelerates closing activities and greatly enhances the reliability of reporting, since everyone accesses the same real-time data instead of reconciling multiple versions. Additionally, it strengthens control over projects and budgets, as timesheets, expenses, and billing are directly linked to project performance. This integration helps safeguard margins and enables more informed decision-making for future planning.

  ### 17. Effortless Payroll & HR with Unit4 ERP

Additionally, I value the ease of initial setup that Unit4 ERP provides, making the onboarding process very smooth and straightforward. I am very confident in recommending Unit4 ERP to others, rating it a perfect 10 for its comprehensive features and ease of use.

Integration with Power BI and Excel allows us to pull real-time budget and procurement data into reports and dashboards, facilitating better analysis and decision-making. Furthermore, although I wasn't part of the initial setup, I understand that it’s a straightforward process, supported efficiently by Unit4’s team to get everything up and running smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

I find the interface of Unit4 ERP to be a bit complex at times, which can make navigation difficult. It sometimes takes extra steps to find certain reports or data, and improving the user experience and navigation could make it easier to use.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Unit4 ERP to manage core operations, streamline approvals, and control budgets, reducing manual work and ensuring smooth procurement processes. It centralizes data, enhances visibility, and integrates with tools like Power BI for better decision-making.

  ### 23. Powerful but Complex, Worth the Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elvis A. | Back End Developer

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I like that Unit4 ERP is built for people and you can easily handle projects. It improves financial accuracy and reduces errors. I feel confident in my numbers, and finance becomes proactive rather than reactive with many effective features on this app. The system allows finance to become a practice, which is something I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

The system is powerful, which means complex, you need a learning curve to understand most of the aspects of it. Reporting is strong but it is not excel simple, meaning building reports takes time and skill, etc.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Unit4 ERP to improve financial accuracy and reduce errors. It gives me confidence in my numbers, making finance more proactive. It's built for people, making project handling easy and effective.

  ### 24. Flexible and Scalable ERP Solution with Some Reporting Hurdles

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I appreciate Unit4 ERP for its remarkable flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs. The system is highly configurable, allowing workflows, fields, and reports to be tailored without heavy custom coding. This feature significantly supports our evolving processes and organizational growth, making it scalable, future-proof, and easy to maintain. The centralization of data and automation of workflows has improved accuracy and efficiency across departments immensely. Real-time insights provided by Unit4 ERP are invaluable for informed decision-making, and the system's support for standardized processes ensures robust compliance. Additionally, the setup process was seamless once roles, workflows, and data standards were aligned, making the implementation and scaling of Unit4 ERP straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

I find that some standard reports in Unit4 ERP lack depth and require customization, which can be inconvenient when I need detailed insights quickly. Additionally, the user interface of certain modules feels outdated and demands more clicks than necessary, which can slow down my workflow and make navigation less intuitive.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Unit4 ERP to streamline financial operations, centralize data, and automate workflows, improving accuracy, reducing reporting time, and supporting compliance. Its flexibility allows easy adaptation to changing business needs, aiding organizational growth.

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I like its user-friendly interface, flexible configuration, and automation features that streamline finance processes and improve efficiency daily fast

Unit4 ERP solves manual work, data fragmentation, and reporting delays, helping me save time, improve accuracy, and make faster, data-driven decisions daily.

  ### 26. Steep Learning Curve, But Tailored for Service-Focused Organizations

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

nit4 ERP is intentionally designed for people-centric, service-oriented organizations (rather than manufacturing-style ERP), with strong fit for Public Sector, Professional Services, Nonprofit, and Higher Education

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Steeper learning curve (especially early on)
Implementation time and change management can be significant
As you add modules/features, complexity can creep up

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems Unit4 ERP is solving (and how that benefits you)
A) Data silos (Finance vs HR vs Projects vs Procurement)
Problem: Disconnected systems force duplicate entry, reconciliation, and inconsistent numbers.
Benefit to you: You get a single source of truth, fewer disputes about “whose data is right,” and faster reporting and decision-making.
B) Manual, repetitive admin work (approvals, matching, routine tasks)
Problem: Too much time is spent pushing paperwork—approvals, timesheets, PO/invoice handling—rather than higher-value work.
Benefit to you: More workflow automation means less manual effort, smoother handoffs, and quicker cycle times (e.g., approvals and processing).
C) Limited visibility and control over budgets/commitments
Problem: Without tight integration, it’s hard to see committed spend, project costs, and budget impact in time to prevent overspend.
Benefit to you: You gain clearer, more real-time visibility across departments, improving budget control and reducing “surprises” late in the month/quarter

  ### 27. User-Friendly with Needs for Faster Load Times

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christos S. | Software Engineer

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I appreciate Unit4 ERP’s friendly user interface, which allows me to effortlessly find whatever I need at any given moment. This intuitive design makes managing my employees straightforward and efficient, as it ensures that information is readily accessible when I require it. Additionally, the software's implementation process was very easy, which contributed to a seamless transition for my team. This ease of use and setup greatly enhances its value to my day-to-day operations.

I use Unit4 ERP to manage my employees, assisting in scheduling and reducing mistakes. Its friendly UI allows me to quickly find what I need.

  ### 28. Intuitive ERP that Streamlines Core Processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rami M. | System Developer

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I like how Unit4 ERP is well built around people and workflows rather than just accounting. The interface is fairly intuitive and handles complex processes. It's workflow-driven, making daily tasks feel more natural and less rigid.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Some areas can feel a bit slow and heavy, especially when running complex reports.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Unit4 ERP to manage core business processes like finance and HR. It solves the problem of scattered systems and manual work by having everything on one platform.

  ### 29. Comprehensive ERP Solution with Powerful Data Clarity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

Unit4 clearly consolidates company data in easily trackable dashboards. The sheer vastness of the platform makes it a great choice for an all-round solution when it comes to ERPs. Being able to have many integrations gather data from all of the long forgotten corners of the company creates clarity. This clarity helps to make business decisions much faster.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

It does take some time to set-up and to align the reports generated with ones from the previous system. The system is quite big and might offer too much for smaller things, so it's certainly not an all around best solution for everyone.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unit4 allows for easy development and change of workflows. As our organisation moves fast and the bandwidth of developers is very limited it is beneficial to us that workflows can be changed by people responsible for those operations. This means less tickets created for tech team, faster iterations and quick reactions to changes within the company.

  ### 30. Flexible ERP solution

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Some advanced features, in my opinion, need more training and are not very intuitive. Large datasets can occasionally cause a slowdown in system performance.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management, human resources, and finance procedures are all made more efficient by Unit4 ERP. This increases overall operational efficiency, decreases manual labor, and improves data accuracy.

  ### 31. People-Centric, Project-Based ERP with Room for Reporting Improvement

I appreciate that Unit4 ERP is clearly designed and people-centric, which aligns well with project-based work. It provides control, visibility, and efficiency in managing financial tasks. I find the real-time tracking of costs and revenue, along with its integration capabilities and budgeting tools, really valuable for staying on top of financial management.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

I find the reporting and analytics feel limited and some performance issues in complex setups. Also, there are some user experience inconsistencies. I'd like a more business-user-friendly report builder.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unit4 ERP solves my problem of fragmented financial data with real-time tracking of costs and revenue, integrations, and budgeting.

  ### 32. Optimizes Operations and Empowers Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

It is a system that helps organizations integrate their finance, human resources, project management, and purchasing processes, optimizing their operations and allowing employees to focus on higher-value tasks.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Sometimes the system can be a little complex for those who are unfamiliar with it and are learning about it, or with the various updates, although they usually always have improvements at the beginning, it can be complicated.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows you to efficiently manage accounting, optimize cash flow, control costs, and facilitates the creation of financial reports as well as human resources management, automating payroll, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
It also automates administrative and processing tasks, freeing up time for employees to focus on more strategic activities.

  ### 33. Developer-Friendly, But Needs Scalability and UI Improvements

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

From my perspective, being an AI engineer, the best part of Unit4 ERP is how developer-friendly and integration-focused it is compared to other legacy ERP platforms

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

While Unit4 is one of the more modern ERPs out there, there are definitely areas that frustrate me as an engineer — mainly around scalability, data accessibility, and UI performance.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my experience, Unit4 ERP addresses issues such as data fragmentation, process inefficiency, and limited visibility between finance and HR. For an engineering team that relies extensively on automation, these improvements offer clear and practical advantages.

  ### 34. User of Unit4 ERP about to transition to cloud

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

Unit4 ERP give us modules wise flexibility.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Unit4 ERP onboarding process bit challenging.

  ### 36. Straightforward and easy-to-use software.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dilyana D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

The software is constructed logically, so you don't need to know everything from top to bottom in order to find what you are looking for. It's easy to become familiar with it. I mostly used it for inventory management, and it did a pretty good job. Fast and easy to use software, not much training is required for employees. However, because of the wide variety of functions, it takes a lot of time to learn everything and use the software to its best capabilities. Is this enough to receive the ten pound voucher now? It really takes a lot of writing.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

The software has too much functions and information sometimes makes it harder to find what you are looking for. This makes it a bit inneficient for first time users, nevertheless it is easy to get around. It is not fully automated, orders are not send to suppliers immediately. Instead, you have to print them, and send them to each supplier manually. This means that you have to have their phones and email addresses handy and with you all of the time. This lack of automation makes the process slower and inneficient in terms of time and effort.

**Recommendations to others considering Unit4 ERP:**

Check out the available support for the software.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing supplies, invoices and requisitions within the department. Quick to use software, however, it provides no direct contact with suppliers, I have to email each order to every one of them. It'd be nice if this process is automated. It is not fully automated, orders are not send to suppliers immediately. Instead, you have to print them, and send them to each supplier manually. This means that you have to have their phones and email addresses handy and with you all of the time. This lack of automation makes the process slower and inneficient in terms of time and effort.

  ### 37. Perfect tool for organisations dealing with in-house and external finances

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Azhar C. | Estates and Facilities Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

As an administrator who has to raise requisitions for many projects and works around campus, Unit 4 allows me to easily to this and keep a track off the whole process. The system is set up to give you notifications for errors and actions required, and you receive email notifications as well. Different levels of authorization can be set up to make sure finance requests are being set up correctly and the right amount is raised or requested. You can also keep track of budgets for different departments

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

It can be very confusing to use and if you aren't fully computer literate I can see how it can take a lot of time to pick up on things. There are certain functions within Unit 4 that you need training for otherwise things can end up going wrong

**Recommendations to others considering Unit4 ERP:**

If you want a system which you can use to manage your in-house finance, want to set budgets for your departments and be able to trace every transaction and financial request, then Unit 4 is probably worth looking in to. Although it is highly recommended you have an in-house team to manage it and offer full training to use it

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to manage all internal finance through Unit 4 as well as paying external suppliers through the software. Everything is traceable and accountable for thanks to Unit 4

  ### 38. Extremely slow

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

It's on the cloud I think............................

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

The web interface is very slow. It takes more than seconds just to fill in a value.

**Recommendations to others considering Unit4 ERP:**

DO NOT GET IT

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

not really...

  ### 39. A unified solution for all ERP needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pradyumna S. | Deputy Manager, Investment Operations – Data Warehouse and ETL Solution Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

flexibility of module development options. Data relaxation to help migration from a Legacy one.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Generic country wise best practice/model could have been helpful. No plug and play option available - as known to me.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Migration of multiple legacy ERP systems into a consolidated managed framework solution for a very high risk /critical data. Agresso Business World had the flexibility to feed in data and other aspects from a varied legacy ERP group.

  ### 40. Used for reviewing invoices

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

Overall opinion of this is "just fine." Our finance team uploads invoices for a 2-step verification process into this software. I like that it's easy to add notes to the invoice and check to make sure it's being booked to the correct cost center and account.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

It's not the most user friendly interface. I only use this to approve invoices, so I don't spend much time in the program, but I haven't figured out how to see invoices I've previously approved which seems like it should be easy to do. I also wish that a notification was sent to my email as soon as something is uploaded for me to approve.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows an easy way to approve invoices that have been submitted to the finance team. Two-step verification helps avoid errors in allocation.

  ### 41. Program is not bad but difficult to read, the graphics looks old

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

Can proceed big amount of data and cover different aspects of finance department

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Graphics, system looks old, difficult to find lot of stuffs, slow dow lot of daily tasks, for example where credit control chase customer and want to update rem date need to go separate against each invoices and if client has got 50 invoices which required updated that became painful

**Recommendations to others considering Unit4 ERP:**

If company wants you use one program to deal with big amount data this program can handle

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I worked as credit control, now I am working as accountant dealing with assets, journals, invoices, correction.

  ### 42. Not a true cloud solution for smaller/medium sized operations

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark T. | Director of Finance and Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

Comprehensive functionality - good for Education

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Support is off shore and not that good. Invariably need to buy in third party support

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Education devolved budgeting and reporting - strong on these points

  ### 43. Unit 4

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

Intercompany set up. Management accounts packs

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Limited characters in referencing fields

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AP system works well when using various company bank accounts and intercompanies.

  ### 44. Agresso is the most easy and practical system I have used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

Easy to track transactions and find associated backing document

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Cannot use paste option when the setup box is open

**Recommendations to others considering Unit4 ERP:**

Highly recommended

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I produced different kinds of reports for our FLT. Agresso allows me to customise how I want the repot. Some benefits include saving time

  ### 45. Review of Unit4

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

Unit 4 is good for raising requisitions. It’s relatively simple to use and has useful features such as being able to view workflow enquiries and can be set up to send prompt emails so that tasks are not forgotten.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

It can be difficult to find certain reports/information from the menu screens as the names of the reports are not always obvious. When searching for requisitions, Unit4 often requires specific text otherwise no results will be returned.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Finding preciously raises requisitions
- Checking the payment progress of invoices
- Checking the workflow of a task to see who needs to authorise it
- Budget reports

  ### 46. A lot of capability with little glamour

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas S. | Senior Finance Associate, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2017

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I like how you can build the system from bottom up. This allows for a lot of capability. The web platform offers a user-friendly platform alternative.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

I dislike the look and feel of the desktop platform. Using this for back-end functionality that is not provided on the Web is a headache. The format makes it seem like it is a 90's software. I think a migration to the web should be the focus of Unit4.

**Recommendations to others considering Unit4 ERP:**

Double or triple your launch time and speak with the A, B, and C levels in your organization before switching. Testing the system first is important to see if it is the right fit.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to connect all of our systems to one platform. We realized that Unit4 can make this possible but the set-up and testing time take a lot longer than we expected.

  ### 47. Not an easy system to navigate

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

The look of the system is clean and simple.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

It's a complicated system that sue different jargon to the normal financial speak. They call purchase orders by a different name and the system of trying to create a purchase order looks very complicated to a first time user.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The process of creating purchase orders are quicker and we now received emails confirming the purchase order has been approved, which helps make the process more efficient. Otherwise, we had to originally keep logging into the previous system to see whether it had been approved.

  ### 48. Unit4 - Hugely flexible but don't get tied in knots

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark J. | Finance and HR Systems Manager, Media Production, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2017

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

You have the ability to categorise and report data in a myriad of ways to suit your business.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Due to the flexibility of the product it is hard for Unit4 to support you. They have to understand your set up first in order to get to how it happened before they can offer a fix (if they can). You therefore need strong internal teams and to try and keep things simple.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business World is our mandatory financial tool and ultimately collates the data to then produce our reports. We can record the level of detail we need to analyse our revenue and expenditure because Business World allows you to create your own set of attributes to capture what's required.

We fully use Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Purchase Ordering, General Ledger, Expenses, Sales Invoicing and more. Having all these modules within one system benefits reporting, the validation of data and system control.

In terms of a recent success story, we implemented Purchase Order processing incorporating workflow approvals, access control, receipting, commitment accounting and emailing of actual orders. This was for a specific area of the business that had bought goods and services direct and offline and was open to a number of challenges because of it. All those challenges were solved with Business World PO's.

  ### 49. Clunky, slow and difficult to use

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam T. | Systems Accountant , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

I guess it is a good thing that it is could based.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Clunky, and vanilla design seemed very difficult to use. Would require a lot of customisation

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not many, it was chosen when an upgrade was required

  ### 50. An ERP that gives us the freedom to develop and tailor to meet our specific needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2017

**What do you like best about Unit4 ERP?**

That we can develop and build a system that meets our demands in terms of functionality and business needs. We have recently upgraded which has meant we can begin to take full advantage of some of the modules available such as Fixed Assets, Procurement, workflow and build a fully integrated ERP solution.

**What do you dislike about Unit4 ERP?**

Power is sometimes a weakness and we find the more we develop, the more issues we encounter but much of this is as a result of the speed of change within the organisation, Having said that, we are learning quickly and have great support from Unit4 and our consultants

**Recommendations to others considering Unit4 ERP:**

If you want a system that you can customise and develop then Unit4 ABW is what you are looking for. We have developed the system significantly over the past 18-24 months and are seeing the benefits of utilising an integrated system that we manage as opposed to relying on third parties managing external systems via SLA for example.
The support team at unit4 have been very support and are giving us an excellent service which we combine which partner organisation consultancy support and this works well for us.
We have a number of areas where we are looking to develop and this is proving key as the pressure to create efficiencies grows - we are looking to business world to support this.

**What problems is Unit4 ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since upgrading, we have implemented, invoice workflow, fixed assets, procurement, agresso forms (partially), and more to come... including web reporting, purchase cards, CIS, budget planner.
