"Unit21 Transaction Monitoring"
What do you like best about Unit21?

Unit21 is constantly iterating on its products and services after curating feedback from both its users and industry players. This contributes to the functionality and optimization of the software benefitting all. If something does not work, they are willing to listen and quickly provide services through excellent customer support.

The case management is highly flexible and can easily be customized implemented for multiple works streams. The team continues to use and leverage new features to optimize their work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit21?

As this is a shared application, response times can vary depending on traffic from all customers. There is not a dedicated space. While this may not be as problematic for AML rules it is a consideration for appropriate rules engines and data optimization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very close partner, nearly white glove experience!"
What do you like best about Unit21?

Unit21 has been a solid tool for us, especially when it comes to case management. The way it tracks everything and lets us organize investigations is really helpful. It’s much better than other vendors we’ve tried, where case management is very basic. With Unit21, we can track alerts, investigations, and even queue things up for our team in a way that makes sense. The ability to customize rules and use dynamic models is also something I’ve found useful. I’ve been able to play around with IP data enrichment and set up rules for things like VPNs and bots, which is something we’ve needed. The documentation they provide is clear, and it’s easy to follow along when setting up new features. Overall, it’s a tool that works well for what we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit21?

They have been growing a lot since we contracted the service, and our CSM have changed a couple times, this I not a downside since we have experienced very good level of support and broad understanding of products every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A holistic transactional analysis experience for effective AML Compliance."
What do you like best about Unit21?

The tool's ability to provide an effective way to analyze transactions, aggregate data, and detect links between people. The most remarkable thing about Unit21 is that it allows a compliance analyst to save considerable time when reviewing alerts, putting its functions of total transaction calculation, identification of specific flagged transactions, analysis of instruments and their possible connections with other users, and other remarkable solutions. In turn, their customer support has been attentive every time we have pointed out a deficiency in their product.

Likewise, although there is a considerable learning curve in the use of the features, once learned the tool becomes more than intuitive for an analyst. I say this because it is a platform that I use every day of my work, for the review of alerts and the preparation of narratives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit21?

While it has a detailed documentation center on how to effectively configure the tool, and like other AML Compliance tools, it lacks a training center that would allow users of the platform to more intuitively learn how to use it. This is asserted because, like any transactional analysis tool, there is a very considerable learning curve, and it would save time and effort if there were something of the sort. What do you dislike about Unit21?

I Dislike that sometimes when working on a Case with a lot of information, it can update wrong, and end up deleting all info from the case, either added Alerts, or Users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Our experience with Unit21"
What do you like best about Unit21?

I appreciate that Unit21 was built with compliance teams in mind, most of the products in this space requires a lot of engineering support. The ability to customize rule, alerts and workflows without engineering support is a game changer! It also integrates well with other systems, it's very easy to navigate and it allows us to adapt quickly to emerging risk, as it supports real time monitoring. My team can monitor alerts in real time, manage cases and escalate easily, all within the platform. The team is also exceptional, the level of support we receive is one of the many reasons we love working with Unit21. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit21?

With the volume of cases we see, the interface can feel a bit clunky and the search filtering can be a bit slow. Also, setting up rules can be time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unit21 is a perfect partner!"
What do you like best about Unit21?

Unit21 has been extremely helpful in working with us to get our data integrated into their system. I appreciate their flexibility in figuring out how to handle our data files, especially since we have a specific way of organizing them that doesn’t align perfectly with their standard setup. They’ve been willing to explore options and test configurations to make the data work, which is important for us. Unit21 also has great starter rules and scenarios, and a dedicated team to work through the entire implementation process. We are thankful to have that kind of support as we move forward. What do you dislike about Unit21?

Unit21 has been excellent thus far in terms of our banking-as-a-service business line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Satisfied Customer Review - Unit 21"
What do you like best about Unit21?

Unit 21’s rule-building feature offers flexibility for users to create and implement rules that align closely with their specific business operations. It’s a nimble and fairly intuitive tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unit21?

The strength of the feature is also its limitation: the user interface is designed with a rule builder in mind, rather than an AML manager focused on day-to-day case management and operational workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
