We have been utilizing our CRM for 12+ years and have all of our past and current projects, active leads, business partners/clients, company goals, etc., all housed within the database. Our leaders have come to depend on this information and rely on it. Everything you need is at your fingertips, and it has been a tremendous help as we pull together our proposals having all of our project history available to report on. **What do you dislike about Unanet CRM by Cosential?** A few things need improvement however the Unanet team has been working hard to make those improvements. A few examples that need improvement: goals module, dashboard flexibility (more than currently available), more customizable fields, and admin functions - which again, many items are on their planned schedule and we are excited for that. I do wish they would finish one project before moving on to another though, for instance, the rolled out a new forms module however it is not 100% ready however other items are also being rolled out - none of which are 100% ready. **What problems is Unanet CRM by Cosential solving and how is that benefiting you?** Customizable fields - previously, there were limits, and now those are expanding tremendously. Dashboards - lots of customizable widgets, charts and graphs - being able to rearrange, copy and print entire dashboards has been a long-needed upgrade (which is also scheduled). Goals module - not user-friendly, needs improvement. Currently not on the roadmap from what I understand. Administration fields - currently, there are multiple areas to make changes; Unanet plans to merge them all into one spot (which will be amazing!). ### 8. The ability to customize current fields, as well as set up additional fields for data customization is helpful to meet the specific needs of my firm. Creating reports is very easy as well. Still learning about creating processes to simplify utilization for others. **What do you dislike about Unanet CRM by Cosential?** Implementing the desktop version of Outlook sync has consistently been a challenge, however this has mainly been due to our firm (1) utilizing Citrix and (2) our desktop versions of outlook not being updated to the most recent versions. It is perfect for growing firms who are past the $10-15M in revenue. I feel if you're still under $10M in annual revenue that other lower cost solutions are probably better. For Akana Cosential does a great job of helping us manager our pipeline - it provides sales and division leaders the data they need to effectively track sales and opportunities. Cosential for Outlook (CFO) is an essential part of the package - it helps to streamline our opportunity tracking and boosts seller-doer adoption of the product. **What do you dislike about Unanet CRM by Cosential?** Cosential oversold and underdelivered on the app - i'm sure this is a sore point with many. They also have a revolving door with their customer support staff - especially when you're drilling down on critical functions like the publisher module. I think they also never disclose the type of staffing required to run the software from my end. I have had to hire a full time cosential coordinator just to keep our data accurate and feed the garbage in so that we don't churn garbage out on resumes/PDs. Also the reporting module - gargage - complete garbage. Why are there not canned sales reports for sales managers? **What problems is Unanet CRM by Cosential solving and how is that benefiting you?** note we are an AE firm and not construction. so the answer above was the only choice and not applicable to me. The problem Cosential solved for me.. as we moved from $10M-20M in revenue the number of pursuits we track and respond to a year quadrupled. All of our lead personnel track, update, and utilize information for upcoming opportunities and update the current projects we have in design and construction. On the marketing side, the ease of updating resumes and project profiles with all of the project information at just a click of a button is a time-saving feature. Unanet is a daily tool used by many in the company and has proven to be a tool that we cannot go without. When we were searching for a project database and reporting solution, the Unanet team offered options with custom fields that have changed the way we do business. There are many options that I would like to explore within the system. It's a very robust system and keeps getting better. Cosential's customer support is great, they are very responsive. **What do you dislike about Unanet CRM by Cosential?** Some of the admin areas are a little confusing. Organizations can not make changes to base screens that eliminate unneeded information. The main reason for our selection was personalized customer support. When Cosential was purchased by Unanet, they discontinued this service and now help ticks are lost, go unanswered, or become delayed by MANY days leaving customers all alone in addressing issues. This leaves us feeling left out and alone with a system that is not easy to fix or adjust. NOT what our company bought.
