The software has helped us become more efficient in our office and streamline our day-to-day work. The support team feels genuinely human as you’re working with real people who focus on your specific issue. Depending on what’s needed, they’ll help troubleshoot and resolve it through a variety of channels, including email, phone calls, token logins, and more. I also appreciate that AE lets you request updates through the support center. Users across the country can vote on items submitted by other users, and the development team uses that feedback to help prioritize future updates. As a finance resource, I use Unanet ERP daily. Unanet’s project tracking is the biggest win for me. The transaction flow from estimate to invoice is easy to follow, and because there’s no manual transfer of data, it’s clear to read and understand while also saving a lot of time. Timesheet filing through mobile is another advantage. People can submit from their phones wherever they are, which translates into more timely invoicing. Unanet support has also been consistently helpful. They respond in a timely manner and stay engaged until the issue is resolved. We also have several complicated billing setups across different clients, and Unanet handles them without requiring workarounds. Different rate schedules and separate invoice formats to match what’s been agreed with each client work the way we need them to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Unanet AE ERP? The Unanet AE interface feels a bit outdated overall. Some functions are slower than they should be like switching out of reports or moving between modules can take longer than expected at times. Entering job codes can also feel clunky, especially when you don’t already know what shortcuts are available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Unanet AE ERP solving and how is that benefiting you? Pulling reports is much more straightforward now. We can export data and push it into Monday.com for project tracking without having to manually transfer everything. The integration options also let it work with the other tools we already use, so we’re not stuck in a closed system. KPI tracking has become more accessible. Metrics like employee utilization and cumulative gross margin on projects used to require someone to manually compile data and build spreadsheets. Now those numbers are already available on dashboards, and our Project Managers can see where they stand without waiting for Finance to send them updates. Billing also happens faster because everything flows through automatically. Time gets entered, expenses get tracked, and it all lands on the invoice without someone having to gather it manually. I love that Unanet AE ERP is a single source of information for our projects. It builds trust in the information and allows our project managers to review their projects at their convenience. Some reports create windows that close if you don't hit the back arrow. Some windows have important data that's hard to find. Links to some information centers are non-existent, like Client and Contacts links are missing. Accounts receivable (unpaid invoices) should be a tab on the project file. The initial setup was not easy; many items in the conversion made no sense, like Cash Basis entries, and many documents did not convert from Vision Document Management to Unanet Documents. I love the grid system in Unanet AE ERP and some of the reporting capabilities. I also appreciate the flexibility it offers. We also need to get educated on AI analytics, which we haven't used yet. The initial setup was challenging, requiring extensive data cleanup.
