"Great Administrative Support"

What do you like best about UMR?

UMR provides great administrative support and service from the account management team assigned to my plan. Any time I have an unusual claim that requires extra attention or questions answered, UMR is very quick to respond and be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UMR?

Occasionally customer service for members can be challenging. Being routed around to several representatives before reaching the customer service representative who can help with a question on an EOB can be frustrating for members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering UMR:

UMR provides great service to employers. Occasionally members are frustrated by being routed through several people to get a question answered. I believe UMR charges fair administrative fees to clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UMR solving and how is that benefiting you?

UMR provides TPA services for our self-funded health plan. UMR processes claims efficiently for our plan, has great administrative support staff to assist us in administering our plan, offers an app for members, and administrative tools and reports on their website for me to analyze our plan performance. "UMR takes a long time to get things done"

What do you like best about UMR?

not much to elaborate on. There is nothing special that stands out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UMR?

They outsource a lot and when you do not have issues with that they seem to have "special teams" for everything and it is hard to get to certain departments. You have to call multiple times to get how they handled claims initially to be resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
