What do you like best about UMAI?

I appreciate UMAI's reservation system and loyalty program because they help build relationships with customers by offering exclusive deals and streamline our operations by auto-assigning tables and preventing overbooking. The seamless UI is a big plus, as it's easy for our floor operation staff to navigate and understand. It doesn't complicate the operation flow and manages table assignments simply, allowing staff to focus on service. Switching to UMAI from Wannascan was a good move since UMAI offers both a reservation system and loyalty programs, which was essential as our restaurant started to grow. What do you dislike about UMAI?

There's a feature I would really like UMAI to look into developing, which is the queueing system. It would be beneficial to offer more features to tackle complicated situations that arise from the unique concept of our restaurant. The queueing system would allow us to manage the crowd better, as our diners are usually cramped in front of our deli counters, affecting the operation flow. It would be great if every table is assigned a unique QR code where arrived guests can scan to pop into the queue to be served at the chiller display while seated and waiting. We occasionally experience glitches and periods of system downtime. We also still have to manually record deposits and deduct them from the final bill, since the deposit information isn’t integrated with our POS system. The support team is amazing, fast and efficient when attending to any issues or enquiries. UMAI as a whole, is easy to use with the drag-and-drop feature, our Hostess is able to manage reservations. I really appreciate UMAI for its ability to streamline and automate our restaurant's reservation funnel, which minimizes manual work and allows us to focus on important tasks. Certain niche features can sometimes feel barebones and I'd like to see them fully flesh it out rather than leaving 10% of a specific feature undone.
