The customer service is great except we kept getting bills for every bit of prorated time we called in. Last months bill was almost $600 and all we were trying to do was learn the software...as if the software wasn't expensive enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everything we were told the software could do was a lie. It is not user friendly, the calendar in the practice management program can't schedule appointments after 4pm (confirmed by their IT department). If you want to change a recurring appointment you have to go into every occurrence for all of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ultra Tax is fast and data input is straightforward. Unlike the last version of ProSystem fxTax Tax I used, Ultra Tax lets you quickly switch between form and input view without needing time to recalculate. This makes it so much easier to see what the results of your work and make sure inputs are correct. The ability to bring over K-1s from other entity returns prepared in Ultra Tax works well.

The organizer system for individual returns isn't as good as ProSystem fxTax's organizer system. Ultra Tax generates a decent organizer, but there isn't a good way to index organizers once they're scanned. Allocating income from K-1s between states is a pain, although I don't know of any tax software that handles it better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
