Absolutely fraudulent service. I bought a 1 year hosting with UK2, and 2 days later decided to leave. On the website it says I have Risk free with our 30-day guarantee

However, when I claimed the refund, the support team said it's not possible. They said they just can cancel my auto-renewal, but no refund. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

UK2 has a simple log in system for domain management and emails and an equally user friendly control panel, which is easy to operate, even for non web developers.

I can’t think of any real negatives about the service offered by UK2. I use their services for domain hosting and email and never have any real problems.

I have been hosted with one of UK2.net services called vps.net for around three years and while I have had some rough patches, I am overall quite happy. When I first signed up there support has been fast in replying and I am not including the first reply that says "We are looking into it", I mean an actual reply that helps. To this day support has always been the same although I do not use support much nowadays.

Cost wise I sadly can not really comment on as I currently have a whole bunch of discounted systems but if I had to pay full price I would still say it was worth it! Uptime … this is where the review turns a bit sour.

During my time with them I have had three times I would call "complete downtime" due to SAN Issues. Basically the vps went offline for days while their systems was rebuilding or due to their SAN failing. However as of late during the last year they got a new SAN setup and I can honestly say I never seen any downtime lately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I ordered a 1 year hosting plan and had to pay with my credit card (they didnt offer paypal as an option). About 3 months in I had not used the account. Phonened them to make sure it would be cancelled at the end of the year and they confirmed it would be.

Low and behold a year later, I get a bank statement – they charged me £88 (I had paid £44 for the first year). I opened a billing ticket asking them to refund it as I had requested a refund. I also asked why it was that:

A) I was never notified the funds would be taken

and

B) That the price had Doubled!

They flat out refused a refund saying I should have sent in a ticket instead of phoning them. Despite never using the account they were still happy to charge me. And get this.

As a ‘gesture of good will’ they would extend the account for 12 months (meaning it ended up that I paid £88 for two years. So, at the end of it I’m out £132 for a 3 year hosting account that will never be used. All because of their immoral accounting team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We had used UK2 to buy a domain for our company, and it was a very easy/straight-forward process. I also wanted to inquire about possible deals for young startup companies, and the staff person I spoke with was courteous and knowledgeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing per se. Sanguis domain name was available when we were looking to register it, and the only reason we ended up changing from Uk2 to GoDaddy was pricing. GoDaddy was cheaper by ~$100/month compared with UK2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly what I like the best is the 24-hour technical support that is been provided as the technical failures are a common thing in any industry. Allowing the company to pick our own domain name is a major advantage. The website builders and the hosting solutions to get the traffic booming is also a major advantage. I like how cheap and easy to use it is. I also like the additional extensions you can get as well as dot com etc. 24/7 support was handy too as not all domain providers offer this which has been a pain in the past Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not much! It does what it says on the tin so to speak. If you are expecting a plethora of integrated website plug ins etc, then this is probably not the domain provider for you. You're better off looking at a provider like Pixel Internet. This is great if you need to get a domain running quickly and cheaply, that's it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Just like the thousands of others comments and complaints on the net about uk2.net . awful. Support when it happens can be rude, derogatory and downright untrue. This company should be closed down for all the harm they have done to so many people.v Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

UK2 has allowed me to create shared hosting platforms easily, and relatively cheaply. I have had little to no experience with web hosting, but UK2 is very user friendly and their support team is great, so I had no problem getting my own server set up! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To get full access to some of their "premium" services, it can get a bit expensive. Also, there database seems to be down quite often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
