The visual interface is quite intuitive, and data can be sorted in a variety of ways, including through built-in metrics and regular reports on aspects of network operation which the small-scale or less experienced user wouldn't even know to ask for.
Adoption and provisioning (automatic configuration to work in your network) of new devices like UniFi security cameras, security gateways, Wi-Fi access points, and UniFi phones is a snap, making implementation of network expansions and integration of new equipment simple and easy.
A daily scan of the network console, from a web browser or a mobile device app, keeps you on top of your network health, and premium support plans are available for those who need product experts to be immediately available. If you have experienced and knowledgable staff, you can avoid the additional support costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you're accustomed to more fine-grained management systems, like those with popular command-line interfaces for configuration, you might find that some of the features that you expect to have available to you aren't immediately accessible through the GUI. SSH access is required to get to these options, using standard Linux command line tools, with the full array of configuration options.
Hot, automatic network failover between gateway and router devices is not yet ready for prime time, but is being worked on. If you need this to function without human intervention, it's not there yet.
Support is available through forum posts only, and is quite sparse, unless you pay for the premium support package. Although the user community on the forums is quite knowledgable and helpful, the best support doesn't come without a cost.
Be aware that this system works only with Ubiquiti's own UniFi branded equipment, and while devices from other manufacturers can be seen in the list of network endpoints, they can't be managed (aside from DHCP reservation). Even Ubiquiti's UISP and Edge Router lines cannot be managed by this system, so be sure that anything you buy (https://store.ui.com) is compatible.
If you didn't purchase your equipment DIRECTLY through the UniFi store, you won't get warranty RMA support from the company, and will have to go back to the vendor from which you purchased the hardware for any replacements. Bear this in mind when shopping. Many devices are chronically sold out, and come back into stock infrequently and for very short periods of time. Get on the email alert list for these if you need them and aren't willing to pay scalper-level prices (often up to double) for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use and simplicity in managing mutiple client sites. Between switches, access points, gatways, cameras, their product has been awesome for our business and clinets.
Implementation is fairly easy even when segmentaing out mutiple networks. Changing network override and managing VLAN is a breeze.
Muti tenant management is awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have noticed when locations have cabling issues, it seems to brick the UniFi switches.
Outside of that slight issues, the product has been awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything. It's relatively easy to set up and understand. It integrates easily, is easily maintained and a reasonable cost. The networking platform allows the integration of VoIP and security cameras with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their support can be a little opaque and tough to get a response from. The community is excellent though and you can usually find the support you need through the community forums. They have staff who monitor the forums and chime in with help as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ubiquiti consistently releases updates for all its product lines. This is important in today's networks, where the risk of a cyber attack or exploit is high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the routing products. I find their routing products aren't quite as full-featured as that of the product offerings from other vendors of a similar size. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use the web interface to handle my client's wireless devices. Super practical! because I can see on the map which devices are in outage and be proactive. Before I used to drive 45 minutes to check the device, now I have to move my mouse a couple of swings and a few clicks and keystrokes, and I could see what is going on with the device. And because I have several clients, the maps gives me a clear view of where the outages devices are located.
I have access to the information related to the device: IP, MAC Address, and Devices around (ARP), which type of device is, the log and a nice diagram of the network conectivty plus a layer on top of google maps showing me the location of the device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The SMTP configuration is not easy and it's problematic to set it up if you have Microsoft Office 365 email accounts. In order to have the full service, at least ten devices must be registered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an IT professional, I have used many brands of networking equipment. Most require an expert to setup. Ubiquiti is not like this at all. They offer top quality products that are easily setup and have you up and running in no time flat! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ubiquiti does not have a great direct line for customer issues. Their community support pages are a fantastic resource that are answered by Ubiquiti techs within a few hours to a day or two. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
