### 2. Ubiquiti is amazing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob W. | IT & Integration Specialist (Network Administrator), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

I love that they keep their prices reasonable, and the quality of their products is very high. The interface is easy to use compared to legacy type systems. Installing the devices has always been super easy. Customer support is excellent. And my favorite, they have recently opened up their Security camera platform to allow third-party cameras to connect to the system, I still prefer Ubiquity cameras, but it's an awesome feature.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

I have had issues when updating the firmware on my UDM Pro SE where the firmware fails and I have needed to recover the device. I've done this twice and the documentation on the process is not accurate. What it came down to, was the display on the front not displaying what it should when booting into recovery mode. This needs to be fixed.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing all aspects of the network.

 ### 3. Effortless SSID Management with an Exceptionally User-Friendly Interface

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Nothing at the moment that discredits the use of the Ubiquiti interface

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of managing internal networks used within the corporate environment, so that all devices are integrated into the tool provided by the platform

 ### 4. One-Stop Shop for Network Infrastructure Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Russel M. | Network Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

The visual interface is quite intuitive, and data can be sorted in a variety of ways, including through built-in metrics and regular reports on aspects of network operation which the small-scale or less experienced user wouldn't even know to ask for.

Adoption and provisioning (automatic configuration to work in your network) of new devices like UniFi security cameras, security gateways, Wi-Fi access points, and UniFi phones is a snap, making implementation of network expansions and integration of new equipment simple and easy.

A daily scan of the network console, from a web browser or a mobile device app, keeps you on top of your network health, and premium support plans are available for those who need product experts to be immediately available. If you have experienced and knowledgable staff, you can avoid the additional support costs.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

If you're accustomed to more fine-grained management systems, like those with popular command-line interfaces for configuration, you might find that some of the features that you expect to have available to you aren't immediately accessible through the GUI. SSH access is required to get to these options, using standard Linux command line tools, with the full array of configuration options.

Hot, automatic network failover between gateway and router devices is not yet ready for prime time, but is being worked on. If you need this to function without human intervention, it's not there yet.

Support is available through forum posts only, and is quite sparse, unless you pay for the premium support package. Although the user community on the forums is quite knowledgable and helpful, the best support doesn't come without a cost.

Be aware that this system works only with Ubiquiti's own UniFi branded equipment, and while devices from other manufacturers can be seen in the list of network endpoints, they can't be managed (aside from DHCP reservation). Even Ubiquiti's UISP and Edge Router lines cannot be managed by this system, so be sure that anything you buy (https://store.ui.com) is compatible.

If you didn't purchase your equipment DIRECTLY through the UniFi store, you won't get warranty RMA support from the company, and will have to go back to the vendor from which you purchased the hardware for any replacements. Bear this in mind when shopping. Many devices are chronically sold out, and come back into stock infrequently and for very short periods of time. Get on the email alert list for these if you need them and aren't willing to pay scalper-level prices (often up to double) for them.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Ubiquiti Network Management System (UNMS, when they abbreviate it) make adopting and provisioning of new equipment super easy. There's no need to hand-create complex and poorly-documented configuration files for these devices. Most important configuration options, like VLAN port assignment on switches, and configuration of additional Wi-Fi SSIDs, is quickly managed through the GUI. It also has the ability to alert network admins in the event of a variety of failures, and the web console can be accessed from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection.

VPN setup and configuration is a snap, and produces a configuration file that can be installed on client systems for easy connection. The web console also allows quick and simple site-to-site VPN creation.

 ### 5. Love the Ubiquiti product as a whole

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin S. | IT MSP Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Ease of use and simplicity in managing mutiple client sites. Between switches, access points, gatways, cameras, their product has been awesome for our business and clinets.

Implementation is fairly easy even when segmentaing out mutiple networks. Changing network override and managing VLAN is a breeze.

Muti tenant management is awesome.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

I have noticed when locations have cabling issues, it seems to brick the UniFi switches.

Outside of that slight issues, the product has been awesome.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consistently upgrading and working to make their product better. We started using CloudKey, Switches and Access points, now we are on to NVR's, PDU's, Cameras, NanoBeams and soon onto magnetic locks and badge systems.

 ### 6. Unifi Network Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Everything. It's relatively easy to set up and understand. It integrates easily, is easily maintained and a reasonable cost. The networking platform allows the integration of VoIP and security cameras with ease.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Their support can be a little opaque and tough to get a response from. The community is excellent though and you can usually find the support you need through the community forums. They have staff who monitor the forums and chime in with help as well.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The network platform has solved many problems. It's streamlined the way I manage the network, it's increased the stability and reliability of the network and has allowed us to expand the services that run over our network.

 ### 7. UBiQuati: The Ultimate Solution for Network Infrastructure Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaibhav P. | video editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

UBiQuati is designed to provide users with centralized management of their network infrastructure, including wired and wireless devices.

It offers a user-friendly interface that allows users to monitor and configure their networks.

It provides detailed analytics and reporting features to help users optimize their network performance.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

UBiQuati does not offer as much customization as other network management platforms, limiting their ability to tailor the platform to their specific needs.

UBiQuati can be relatively expensive compared to other network management platforms, which can be a drawback for small businesses or individual users.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the primary problems that UBiQuati is solving is the complexity of managing network infrastructure. In today's digital age, networks are becoming increasingly complex, with a growing number of connected devices and a range of wired and wireless technologies. This complexity can make it challenging for network administrators to monitor and manage their networks effectively.

 ### 8. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Federico Z. | Jefe de sistemas, Newspapers, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Its very easy to use, all you need is in the management

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

the captive portal is not easy to deploy

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralize the admin of access points. I can see the traffic and state of each.

 ### 9. One of the best tool for networking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** José F. | IM Manager - Central Amer and Caribbean en Wärtsilä, Oil & Energy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

The best thing I see is the graphic and simple way to administer, manage the network resources provided by the tool. Easy to start and deploy for any type of business.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

For now, nothing to add or change, the tool is in. constantly updating.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The way to manage, configure, update the devices. It is saved time and money in deployment. It has helped me to have the infrastructure ready faster and with all the required standards.

 ### 10. Excellent for Wifi Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas O. | ICT Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Ubiquiti consistently releases updates for all its product lines. This is important in today's networks, where the risk of a cyber attack or exploit is high.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

I dislike the routing products. I find their routing products aren't quite as full-featured as that of the product offerings from other vendors of a similar size.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ubiquiti provides an easy way to manage hundreds of Access Points at scale, both at a single site or across multiple locations spread out around the country. Ubiquti also provides good support through its forums and user communities.

 ### 11. 100% great performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oscar C. | Business Continuity Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

I use the web interface to handle my client's wireless devices. Super practical! because I can see on the map which devices are in outage and be proactive. Before I used to drive 45 minutes to check the device, now I have to move my mouse a couple of swings and a few clicks and keystrokes, and I could see what is going on with the device. And because I have several clients, the maps gives me a clear view of where the outages devices are located.

I have access to the information related to the device: IP, MAC Address, and Devices around (ARP), which type of device is, the log and a nice diagram of the network conectivty plus a layer on top of google maps showing me the location of the device.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

The SMTP configuration is not easy and it's problematic to set it up if you have Microsoft Office 365 email accounts. In order to have the full service, at least ten devices must be registered.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick access to the console
Outages Logs
IP Address
Mac address
What device is connected to
Maps and Network diagrams

All this makes it easy to understand the environment where the device is deployed.

Allows people who have not been there to understand the role of a faulty device. You can download the configuration, make backups, upgrade firmware, and change configurations.

 ### 12. Amazing performance and price for small to medium sized businesses!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Firestorm G. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

As an IT professional, I have used many brands of networking equipment. Most require an expert to setup. Ubiquiti is not like this at all. They offer top quality products that are easily setup and have you up and running in no time flat!

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Ubiquiti does not have a great direct line for customer issues. Their community support pages are a fantastic resource that are answered by Ubiquiti techs within a few hours to a day or two.

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

Highly recommend as this provides exactly what a small business needs at a price that they deserve! Users of Ubiquiti get the networking they need at a fraction of the price of the big name networking companies.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed network equipment at a great cost, but with the benefits of a large-scale implementation. Ubiquiti gives me a great firewall, top tier networking abilities, and gigabit switches at a price that is a fraction of what the big guys sell for.

 ### 13. If you use Ubiquiti you need this management system

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan S. | Network Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

UNMS, now UISP, is an excellent tool for managing multiple Ubiquiti products in a single place. Anything you add in, whether Air Fiber or Edgeswitch, will backup its configuration during any changes made while connected with the management system and show you statistics on anything you could want to see. It is removing the need for tools that do SNMP monitoring for Ubiquiti devices

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

If it supported software outside of Ubiquiti devices, it would be more versatile. You are limited to have more than one management system if you use other vendors, which can be a pain to manage. An all-in-one solution would be better.

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

Try it out, it is easy to set up, and it could save you hours of work when managing hundreds of devices.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the issue of getting and maintaining backups of 1000 devices within our network. What's great about this tool is it will do it all for you. All you need to do is add devices which is a click of a button. It saves us so much time each year.

 ### 14. Great Network System for homes or small businesses

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bobby V. | Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

I love that you can control your network from a central controller. We have multiple offices across the world and having visibility over every site is super convenient. There are flexible options for deploying the UniFi controller. We currently have it installed on an Ubuntu EC2 instance in AWS.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

The UniFi equipment can't meet the needs of a large organization. There are many hardware and software limitations that we're starting to reach. Not everything that can be configured can be done via the controller and there's no easy way to back up the configuration done on the USGs directly. We have S2S VPNs that we will need to configure from scratch if we lose the current configuration for some reason.

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

Consider Ubiquiti If you have a small business and you don't expect a lot of growth in the next few years. It is not very suitable for medium to large organizations.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're running a hybrid cloud network infrastructure in multiple countries and AWS regions. The UniFi controller makes it easy to visualize the whole network and push configurations to devices. We also have S2S VPN connection between every office and our AWS infrastructure.

 ### 15. Unifi WAPs are good performers, simple setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Unifi WAPs are good performers, simple setup - very reasonably priced licensing - GUI makes it super easy to view WAPs and client machines, including their IPs, experience, etc

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Occasionally a firmware update will cause a minor issue, but expected with these types of devices

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

seamless wifi coverage for entire plaza for staff and patients - easy management

 ### 16. Excellent all in one interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe W. | Network Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

The all in one interface. Ease up configurations and updates

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Sometimes support is lacking. Firmware updates can be hit and miss.

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

Must have if you're setting up a WISP

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having the ability to set up and maintain network and wifi all in one place. Also, having more sites on makes VPN set up a snap between locations.

 ### 17. The Price is Right for an SMB

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ben k. | telecom manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

if you are using Ubiquiti hardware, than the FREE management software is the way to go.
relatively easy to install on most platforms, real or virtual [VM options require same supported OS]

Great for managing many small remote offices or customers

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

It isn't ready for Enterprise roll out.
Large deployments can be cumbersome.
Software doesn't have that level of control or customizability that enterprise suites do.

upgrading on a Windows OS can be a PITA if the software is going to be supported by multiple users.
Windows OS install is designed for single user install [or admin user not group install]

I had to develop a ham fisted Batch File to install as Multi users

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting visibility in our WiFi network.
being able to offer multiple SSIDs on the fly for events or special reasons.
Identifying abusive uses and blocking them

Provide easy and secure wifi to guests and vendors while keeping them off our production network

 ### 18. Fairly easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

It's easy to add, remove, and make changes to the wireless access points as needed

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

It can be a pain to configure on Ubuntu.

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

Have a dedicated server for working with the admin console.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had previously configured a Meraki home network, and the license had expired. I was unable to replace it with a new license at the time, and this provided an easy way to get back up and running without requiring a license renewal with a reasonable hardware price.

 ### 19. Ubiquiti: fun to manage, good product, a bit expensive

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefan L. | Senior System Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

An attractive, single pane of glass for managing my home network.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Interface is a little cluttered and confusing

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Ubiquiti Dream Machine provides a full 1 gigabit of throughput, and a solid 300mbps for wifi. After the learning curve, it's an effective management tool.

 ### 20. Easy to deploy and maintain

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad C. | Network Cloud Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

I can maintain all of our wireless equipment from one portal. In addition, we do not have to periodically buy expensive licensing to make our equipment work.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

The only "dislike" that I have is that all of the Ubiquiti security components aren't built in to the cloud key. It is a separate device altogether.

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

If you look into any of their equipment, I suggest looking into everything they offer for your company networks. They produce quality equipment and their support is top notch!

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can see the clients connected to all of our locations wireless systems from one portal and diagnose any problems without leaving my desk. If we do find a problem, I know exactly where the problem is and what needs to be done to fix it before I arrive on site. This saves me so much time.

 ### 21. Good for Home or Small Business, not for enterprise

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Fairly easy to manage devices and clients

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Not enough capacity for larger enviornments

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized management of devices is a good thing. helps with smaller environments that cant afford enterprise-class systems

 ### 22. Centralized Management for Ubiquiti's EdgeOS Line

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron S. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

UNMS provides a way to centrally monitor and manage Ubiquiti's EdgeOS network devices. It provides configuration backups, firmware updating, monitoring, and alerting. Ubiquiti provides a cloud hosted version for free, or you can utilize a self-hosted version and run it locally or on your preferred cloud provider.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

It's not as fully featured as UniFi. Most configuration changes to devices can't be changed from UNMS and still require logging into the device directly. I really wish they (Ubiquiti) would merge their UniFi & EdgeOS product lines and allow them to be managed from a single system, either the UniFi Controller or UNMS. Having one system to manage routers/switches and another to manage access points is not ideal.

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

If you're using more than 1 of Ubiquiti's EdgeOS devices, UNMS is a no brainer. It just makes managing them easier.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit is centralized and automated configuration backup of EdgeOS devices. Gone are the days of logging into each device and downloading a configuration backup.
UNMS also significantly reduced the labor required to find and install firmware updates for all EdgeOS devices across all of my clients, saving me time and money.

 ### 23. Ubiquiti makes network management easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Ubiquiti makes it easy to administrate multiple sites from a single online web interface.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Ubiquiti/UI.com require there to be a single "master admin" account vs. all of your admins you designate being 100% equal, this is not the best security practice.

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

I recommend the UDM-Pro setup with USW-Pro-48-POE and Unify Access Points.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of Network Administration

 ### 24. Solid and Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kameron P. | Information Technology Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Product is solid and simple to setup. Products are supported for a long time. For example they still support their Gen 2 line of cameras and they are now coming out with Gen 4 cameras. Their network management system works on Windows, mac OS, and Linux. Their management software is truly free. No device limit on their controller and adding a device is as simple clicking adopt (controller and access point or other network device being added need to be on the same network). Good setup guides online.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

I dislike that they don't have a paid for support team as their support is forum based only.

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

Watch how to videos and read guides before purchasing to see if is the system that fits your needs.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expensive license based network equipment. Access points are more cost effective then our Cisco ones and we currently have and are easier to make changes on then the Cisco ones.

 ### 25. Ubiquiti offers simple, affordable, reliable network management through their UNIFI platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

The best thing about Ubiquiti Network Management is the affordability when compared to its competitors. The controller cost of Ubiquiti is wrapped in to the cost of the physical products which comes free of annual license costs. This allows our organization to save for hardware upgrades rather than constantly licensing the software. For that, you would expect the product to be subpar but in the case of Ubiquiti, their product and controller offer the same great features we expect from a premium company.

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

With the benefits of cost savings, there is always something that has to give. In the case of Ubiquiti Network Management, the something is product support. Ubiquiti's main format for supporting their products is through an online chat portal that sometimes can take more time than being able to talk to someone on the phone. In defense of Ubiquiti, they are good at responding and working with you albeit in a less than efficient way for the end user.

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

I highly recommend all organizations with network management needs to look into the benefits of using Ubiquiti as your main hardware. Ubiquiti products are reliable and cost disruptive when compared to others in the wireless market.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ubiquiti Network Management allows our company to control our wireless infrastructure in an incredibly affordable and efficient way. Their controller platform is extremely granular, allowing the administrative team to follow the wires virtually from the router down to the products that are both wired and wirelessly connected to the network. This saves time when addressing network issues. The controller has a world class UI that is user friendly. For feature education, there are several Youtube tutorials done by Ubiquiti and third parties that are extremely helpful and make the user experience very pleasant.

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Ubiquiti network management system, is the air control environment of ubnt devices, with this tool in our department we can have control of location, connection and administration of devices connected to them. It is the tool of greater control located in all the wifi platforms. Through a section of user control by description, we have under control all unknown connections that want to steal an unauthorized connection, however at the time of doing so without permission this connection would enter a worse connection of a few bits so they can not manage anything In the net. This is a well-replenished feature in this ubiquiti network management platform

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

The platform contains a feature that has not yet been developed, which allows you to create a roaming connection but has the variety of falling connection without notice, so that arbitrary disconnection does not allow a secure connection. In the same way, this management platform is quite complete and excellent

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

As a Wi-Fi connection control, I have observed that in the management of wireless connection through this ubiquiti connection controller. A secure connection fluidity that allows to have under control all the connections of different departments of our company. Additional that through a flat image included in the tool we have vision of the devices installed in our network infrastructure

**Reviewed by:** javier p. | I am an administrator of ubnt device connections, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

Each control management in this controller is a complete desire to have the maximum control of all possible connected mobile devices. With this tool you can have a bandwidth by default that does not allow you to connect to anything if the wireless network is usurped, you can block every unidentified device, therefore each device is useful to identify it and the tool allows it. The accuracy of documentation is accurate. In fact we can even control the schedule of connections. In our area, after hours, the nevegacion is controlled a lot. With this tool we have been able to save on incessant connection multiplatform costs

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

The only failure that occurred under our management is that users present a time out when connecting on the internet. By continuous tests it was determined that the tool at some point has a fault and therefore the device stops connecting. Although the tool is excellent, it has that small flaw that does not allow it to connect and enjoy that benefit it contains

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

I recommend having this tool if you want to have administrator privileges in your Wi-Fi network. With this tool you will reign all possible connections. Manage them in a simple and optimal style

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have benefited from the tool only with the fact of connecting and offering a specific bandwidth per device container group, to which I wish to condemn at a minimum bandwidth, I only determine the device to that configuration with just one click. Additional no user has been able to enjoy navigation if I do not have it identified under the whole company

 ### 29. The advanced wifi controller.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel R. | I agree that my network is more secure, thanks to Fortigate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

In search of a tool with contemplate a centalization of wifi devices. We were able to find that tool as a container for all UBNT devices. In it you can update each antenna of the sector where it is installed, additional by a list of connected clients, you can have the complete administration of it since you can even identify them with your name and surname. In the same way, taking a plane of the company identifies each internal antenna to know the intensity of the signal it generates. It serves as monitor and controller of bandwidth of each generated connection

**What do you dislike about Ubiquiti Network Management System?**

The only error of the tool is that when it is connected to a UBNT device it is registered under the same registry, since it is not possible to connect again, so it is in zero-handoff option. Additional that at some point when you are connected to the tool suddenly disconnects without registering any error in log, the rest the tool works correctly

**Recommendations to others considering Ubiquiti Network Management System:**

I recommend the tool if you want to have control as a wifi network administrator. It is very easy to install and administer, it is control and monitoring.

**What problems is Ubiquiti Network Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has brought benefits such as having all types of user connection centralized, because as there is a user administrator, it is fundamental for our administration to carry out that exhautive control and thus determine which is the best connection and distribution of navigation in the network of local area or wide area

There are also options that allow for more advanced features such as firewall, port forwarding, etc.

The software itself seemed to be buggy between upgrades, for example, access points that are known on one site appear as rogue APs at another site if they share a common SSID. Even if they are marked as Known in the controller software, they are marked as Rogue on the next upgrade.
