Transplace is one of the few companies I have worked with that posts Shipment Updates and Invoices almost instantaneously. When an invoice is sent, the file shows up in their systems within less than 3 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I personally used this program while working for Colgate this past summer. As a part of the Logistics Team, it’s super important to have access for shipments and pricing. Transplace TMS allows to view all shipments, various dynamic dashboards of key performance indicators(ex: financial dashboard), and analytics that incorporate relevant information about weather and traffic. The best part is the Transplace Control Tower which features real time visibility, service prediction, business intelligence and reporting, load consolidation and routing, mode and carrier selection, costs comparisons across modes, carrier freight audit and payment. Overall with all the features it includes, it’s fairly easy to use and mostly everything is straight forward to accept loads and bid on lanes as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One downside is definitely having the ability to accept or decline load tenders through Transplace. Another downside was even though it was very easy to use, with large data sets, the program tended to crash a lot. For example, while looking for a data set from 2017-2019 of all shipments from California to New Jersey, it would take a while for the information to come through and the file tended to not work with that load of information. overall, there are more pros than cons to using Transplace TMS but the minor issues cause using the program a bit tedious. I like how easy Transplace is to use. They give you all the appointment times available for the PO and zipcode that you add and all you have to do is click it and they give you a confirmation number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All requests for routing are made in one place so it is easy to keep organized. Management had been very helpful and responsive as well. It is nice to see where the shipments are in terms of transportation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I disliked about Transplace is that we are not notified when a shipment is assigned Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
