**What do you like best about typedesk?**

Typedesk saves me so much time in my daily tasks! It allows me to save a variety of useful shortcuts, and it automatically pastes in the shortcut with two or three keystrokes. I love it when I am designing because I can save a bunch of colour codes by name. Plus, I can share the shortcuts with my team, so they can do the same! And you can even use it with AI to quickly analyze and rewrite selected text without leaving the page.

**What do you dislike about typedesk?**

Sometimes it can lag just slightly when adding a longer input, but I don't know if that is Typedesk's fault or my own system.

**What problems is typedesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Typedesk lets me quickly input long strings of text or hard to remember data with only a few short keystrokes. It saves me a ton of time from having to copy and paste the traditional way. I love it for canned responses in emails or when responding to customers online.

**What do you like best about typedesk?**

I like that it saves me time and helps me create canned responses — it encourages a systems-focused mindset, so I’m more likely to write reusable content my team can deploy with just a few keystrokes.

It's super easy to set up. I know there's hardly any learning curve, really.

We use it in my business on a daily basis. There are so many situations you can use it for, whether it's email addresses for my entire team or web addresses that I have to share frequently.

And obviously, the best thing is since they set up the whole OpenAI integration, now you can have AI-created responses inline right wherever you're typing.

I'm a huge fan.

**What do you dislike about typedesk?**

I wish there was an API that allowed me to automate shortcut creation.

It takes too long for me to think about what to type in every situation in my business if I had to do it reactively every single time!

**What do you like best about typedesk?**

I use typedesk for writing pre-canned responses like customer support or emails, which has shortened my time. I like using quick commands such as the forward slash combined with the type of my choice, which makes it very fast to use. I think the interface is also simple and fairly intuitive to set up, so anyone can really do it. I find it valuable because it's easy to use without a lot of friction; I don't have to open a bunch of applications or set up a bunch of commands. I can simply create one shortcut for a paragraph response for each typical point I need to address, which significantly cuts down my time.

**What do you dislike about typedesk?**

Sometimes the copy paste function can behave strange, meaning it'll type twice or not paste, which I'm not sure if it's something to do with the actual software or the text boxes that I'm trying to input into.

**What problems is typedesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use typedesk to shorten my time writing pre-canned responses like customer support, partner or even internal emails, avoiding redundancy and repetition.

i dont see downsides of using typedesk, its optional, but very powerful when you know how to use it.

**What do you like best about typedesk?**

It saves me a lot of time. Instead of manually copy and pasting repetitive emails and then customizing each with names, etc., Typedesk makes it super easy for me to just either use shortcuts or double click on the template and use the various fill-in options with ease. These dynamic fill-ins are amazing. You won't know you need it until you've tried it!

The interface is also very intuitive and easy to use.

I work in customer support so Typedesk is a must-have! It's also affordable.

**What do you dislike about typedesk?**

Unfortunately, it sometimes crashes for no reason. It's no big deal because I just restart and it doesn't really cause any issues.

Having to re-type or copy and paste repetitive text.

It works great for sending canned messages; I'm able to set variables to enter the recipient's name and other details. Also, I can set text for the morning or afternoon accordingly. Webhooks is great!... when a canned message is sent, you can have a register added to certain tool or send an email, etc... with the variables in the text.

I wish there was a mobile app. It's in their roadmap, though.

I used to type or copy/paste long and short texts and modify them to save time, but really didn't save that much and when having several texts in my notepad it turned confusing. TypeDesk really solved this!

For anyone using identical or somewhat similar messages/responses/communication on a regular basis (emails, slack, chat support, etc) - this is a GREAT tool. It allows you to craft the response you want, include dynamic fields so it leaves room for different situations, and saves you time typing, saves on typos, and also keeps your messaging/responses consistent across the board. Great to help align messaging across teams as well. Super easy to implement.

We've been using Typedesk for a couple of years now and it has save an immense amount of time and effort.  It's in use everyday in come shape or form.

Whether its the integrated plugin or the desktop app, everything is intuitive and easy to use and theres a constant floow of updates coming down the pipe.

Would recommend it to anyone!

The only thing I dont like is that it doesnt write the responses for me....but with AI  integration thats fast becoming a non-issue!

Its just a question of re-using content that wouold otherwese have to be re-typed daily in a multitude of places.

**What do you like best about typedesk?**

It is very easy to use once you set it up how you want to use. I like that I can easily add different variables, alternatives very quickly. It's great for repetitive things such as messages, typing in an email and more.

**What do you dislike about typedesk?**

Sometimes it will input things twice and I will have to go and delete. Have to restart perhaps once a week, the chrome extension could be a bit easier to use but overall satisfied.

Making easier to write out messages. I have the team version so everyone on my team is responding the same messages. It's saving me lots of time as don't have to type repetitive things like hi name it will just have a pop up to simply replace the variables.

Typedesk allows to replicate canned responses for a team, making customer support a lot easier. The allocation of the different responses to different team members is extremely easy.

I haven't found anything I don't like in Typedesk, it is a great tool to help a support team to save time. I would recommend it to every support team to increase productivity.

**What do you like best about typedesk?**

I use Typedesk for giving instructions to staff members. Typedesk makes it easy to set up templates that I know will get the message across to my team, but which take less time to write because I can just fill in the bits that vary and everything else is pre-filled. It's quicker and easier than copying and pasting existing text.
I also use it to enable my team to give instructions. It's invaluable for ensuring they word their instructions clearly.

**What do you dislike about typedesk?**

Shortcuts would be amazing but they're only available on desktops/laptops and I do everything on my iPad or phone. If they offered the ability to apply templates with keyboard shortcuts on mobile devices, I'd give it 10 stars.

Typedesk is solving two business problems for me:
- It's reducing the amount of time I spend communicating repetitive instructions to my team
- It's reducing the number of errors my team members make

**What do you like best about typedesk?**

The ability to standardize communications across our whole organization without making everything sound like a template is a game-changer.  We're incredibly impressed with how easy it makes training for new roles that rely heavily on communication.  The addition of the AI tools makes anyone an Inbox Superhero!

**What do you dislike about typedesk?**

I really, really, really wish that there were a mobile app that was as performant as the desktop app and the browser plugin.  It's a notable downside as I find myself waiting to get back to my desk to send certain emails.

**What problems is typedesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consistency across communications throughout our whole organization without sounding like we're robots.  The variants, the logic, and the AI features make it all such a breeze.

**What do you like best about typedesk?**

When I'm about to create a brand new email response, I'm able to quickly to the app and either copy/paste my email, or just create my response directly in TypeDesk and then I'll always be able to "reuse" that response in the future.

**What do you dislike about typedesk?**

I'm not able to copy responses to my folders (which I use for my team).  I have to either drag them over to the team members folder (which means I can't use it in my own main profile), or I have to type out, word for word, the response and add it to their folder.  This is the most frustrating part of using TypeDesk.

**What problems is typedesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer have to spend time thinking of responses and typing them out.  I just go to the app, search, and then hit enter.  It then copies and I return to what I was doing and paste the answer in.
I don't use the hotkey function at all.

**What do you like best about typedesk?**

The ability to sort my text replacement by groups/categories/departments and to share these pre-made short texts with team members has allowed us to significantly speed up the time it takes to reply to an email, social media responses, and customer service inquiries.

**What do you dislike about typedesk?**

Initially, there were some little bugs here and there and the lack of auto-updating was a bit annoying but that has been fixed now and I don't have any other complaints.

Some text is very repetitive and being able to paste one of several templated responses, edit them, then send off this customized response has solved many problems with time management for text-based responses.

I do some web dev work, and I usually need to activate a dozen plugins and enter licenses, copy, etc... and I do this in a breeze with Type Desk; it saves me hours of work.

**What do you dislike about typedesk?**

So far, nothing. But I would love having this on my mobile as well; it would be super helpful for on-the-go work when I'm away from my laptop; other than that, great product and support.

Having to input repetitive data for several systems, type desks allows me to expand text and share these with my team, so we are consistent in out communications and work more efficiently.

**What do you like best about typedesk?**

Best software for sending the response to the customer without any hassle, and we can use it with any other platform, also we can able to search response easily and for every time we just have to fill customer name and pre-canned response id created in seconds.it help me a lot, before I was using google sheet for this purpose and it was taking too much tiome to search a response.

**What do you dislike about typedesk?**

Till now, I didn't face any kind of issue, just if we open this app extension may take some time to open.
and if I want to copy the response then it is not possible like some time we dont have  user name.

it helps me a lot like response time is low now with using this app, we can easily able search our pre-written response faster and we just need to type user name then it added my name to respond directly, which saves much time and easy to use with any app.
