What I mean by this is that I have been using this product in one form or the other over the past 16 years. That tells me this is a durable product committed to evolving to meet current and future needs. **What do you dislike about Tyler Enterprise Public Safety?** It is costly. This is perhaps one of the most expensive RMS products we use, and the cost never seems to go down. However, it seems like it would be even more expensive if we were to "start over" with another, competing "RMS" service. **Recommendations to others considering Tyler Enterprise Public Safety:** Beware of modules. Don't assume anything is included. **What problems is Tyler Enterprise Public Safety solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a huge jump to their latest product, "Enterprise," in both the terms of time and financial resources. While not necessarily required, it seems to be expected. I have been getting suttle hints from representitives that the current product will not be supported for much longer. ### 2. I can understand the need to keep things simple because of the continual addition of freatures, but there's gotta be a better way. **Recommendations to others considering Tyler Enterprise Public Safety:** You won't be dissapointed. Many of their employees have an intimate understanding of our systems and challenges, which makes working with them easy. Problems are usually solved and they are constantly improving the product. **What do you dislike about Tyler Enterprise Public Safety?** Upgrades are time consuming and cumbersome. The amount of testing we need to do to ensure a new release is ready for production is excessive. **Recommendations to others considering Tyler Enterprise Public Safety:** Fully understand requirements **What problems is Tyler Enterprise Public Safety solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using CAD, law enforcement records and other public safety applications on a common system in our county. This has led to greater interaction with agencies and a tighter community. When one agency has a problem we can often find a solution locally without engaging Tyler support. ### 4. They often come in future releases which means the customer has to wait or come up with work arounds. **Recommendations to others considering Tyler Enterprise Public Safety:** The software is always improving and the company is investing more and more into development and service.
