Top Rated Tyler Enterprise Case Manager Alternatives
I really like being able to access documents online, file documents online, the whole notion of paperless / electronic filling is very appealing. This is done well compared to CM/ECF, but it's also much newer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Extremely limited options in choosing and identifying pleadings. I'm also not particularly crazy about some of the processes that are required for every filing but only used for a small fraction of filings. In particular, I don't love having to decide who is responsible for paying a filing fee when no filing fee is due.
I'd like for the emails to be able to contain, at user election, .pdf attachments of files within a reasonable size parameter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Odyssey was very easy to use and integrated well with efiling once impelemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The graphics are ugly and the program does not show well to our integrated online court programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Odyssey has a lot of features that allow you to fully explore a persons criminal history, current case notes and finding, and location. I have yet to have a problem with the program crashing or there being major delays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a learning curb when first using Odyssey. There's are so many features and buttons that I have no idea what they are there for or how to use them. Our IT person does not know what it is there for or how t use it. The search button could use more detailed features ( such as I can put in a name and a birth date a arrest date , etc. to narrow a person down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it's very configurable and easy for users to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was more "out of the box" performance monitoring. I also really dislike that users can't delete extraneous connections if they add them accidentally to a party. Their only recourse is to enter a removed date and reason, which causes integrations issues with our receiving systems. I would like to see this resolved for case participants and attorneys Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing that I like the most about Odyssey is the large amount of functionality and features available in Odyssey. This makes it possible to merge multiple legacy systems into one, making a more streamlined user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike about Odyssey Client is that it's a client/server application. The only thing that would make it better is if it were a web based application like the Odyssey Portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Working with Technical Services is what makes Odyssey a great product for us. It can do just about everything, but has it's issues too. The Tyler Technical Services Team has been instrumental in Odyssey working well for my state. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The scalability of some parts of the application have been problematic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to pull up court dockets, view nearly all filings, see imaged filings, related cases, and ability to spell based on similar sounding names. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It takes a multiple seconds to pull up cases and even longer to generate forms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the fact that we were able to reduce the amount of systems we need in the courts from many down to 1 and also add additional automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the the turn around time for sometimes very important issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ability we have to manage case information and share that case information with other agencies.. It replaces a couple systems we had before: a home grown mainframe system and a separate document system. The integration of both functions in Odyssey is helpful to us as well as state-wide judiciary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some problems with stability. The forms feature could use some improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
