If you need a quick rendering you don't need any to know too much about the software. The first time I use it I only had to watch a couple of quick videos on youtube. **What do you dislike about Twinmotion?** The size of these files is big and when working on a medium size project Twinmotion crashed a couple of times so it would be nice if in the next versions the workflow is smoother. **What problems is Twinmotion solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Twinmotion I'm quickly solving the high-end renderings for my architectural projects and the benefits I have found with this software is that I can easily get a good quality rendering without knowing a lot of photography and materials. Another big benefit I have with Twinmotion is that it is included with Archicad, the BIM software I use. ### 3. It enables users to quickly build a presentation-ready scene in minutes. **What do you dislike about Twinmotion?** Like most real-time rendering software, it doesn't let you export models out of Twinmotion. It has some handling issue with a large scale model/ scene. It becomes unreliable when you work with a large scale scene. Upon saving the work, it will loose imported link info and loose all the saved cameras for animation setup. **Recommendations to others considering Twinmotion:** Unfortunately, it has some issues with a large scaled scene and it becomes unstable and unreliable upon saving and backing up. However, if the scene is manageable, then it has a fantastic asset library that can enhance the context level of the scene very quickly and help to generate a great visualization in less time. **What problems is Twinmotion solving and how is that benefiting you?** If a project is adequate (in scale), I was able to build a scene very quickly with a provided asset library. Still images, and animations, then can be created very quickly for a presentation. Speed and quality of visualization is fantastic. ### 4. Its has also an easy feature for weather setting and sunlight according to time. Twinmotion rendering speed is also fast. You can work on medium configuration PC also. **What do you dislike about Twinmotion?** What I dislike the most is its library content. There is no variety in the library as Lumion 10. There should be variety of libraries to compete with Lumion. **Recommendations to others considering Twinmotion:** I would like to suggest to Increase Library content in the Twinmotion Software. and make it capable to work and rendering in even lower GPU. **What problems is Twinmotion solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Twinmotion, I can get the realistic quality of Architectural projects. Has great features such as adding certain skylines as the backdrop to urban settings. A great area of improvement would be adding all major cities, from Beijing and Dubai to New York and Chicago to the background scenes interface. Areas where major large scale developments happen would see high demand for a software like this. Additional perks like the immersive walkthrough and AR/VR capabilities are great at understanding impacts of design proposals to clients and can be very informative/engaging. **What do you dislike about Twinmotion?** The material palette/objects are lumped up together, it would be nicer if they are broken down for simplicity. For example, surfaces in grass should be broken down to flat surfaces, 3d grass surfaces and bushes/small plants groves should be a separate subgroup. **Recommendations to others considering Twinmotion:** Watch tutorials on how to get started, dashboard can be a bit confusing at first. See some hacks for getting good atmospherics, which would ultimately eliminate the need for unnecessary modelling. **What problems is Twinmotion solving and how is that benefiting you?** urban planning/design visualization, and immersive tech. The real time rendering function is great! **What do you dislike about Twinmotion?** The objects library ist a bit restricted, as well as the availability of materials. Same with the instability, its prone to crashes, but has been more stable since the switch to Epic Games. **What problems is Twinmotion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Twinmotion has cut down our rendering times drastically. Things that used to take a week can be done in a day. ### 10. The software provides excellent visual quality and goes beyond the rendering to immerse the user in VR to walk around landscapes, cities, and buildings. **What do you dislike about Twinmotion?** The few times the software abruptly crashes, and the confusing layout for applying materials, models, and scene backgrounds. **Recommendations to others considering Twinmotion:** Use the pilot (sample project) as a guiding exercise when you are a new user. **What problems is Twinmotion solving and how is that benefiting you?** It removes the big hurdle of outsourcing visuals, where now we can do it in-house with complete immersion into our designed spaces. This can save up to tens of thousands of dollars, annually, for a design firm.
