**What do you like best about Twilio?**

It was very easy for me to purchase my service and be billed promptly, and be assigned a phone number.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

When setting up phone number there are numerous requirements for certifications, Weber hawks, and technical integration requirements that are neither well documented, clear, or aided by any on screen bye workflow. Further there are no live chat or Live telephone options for a small business. Finally when emailing support, response times are greater than 24 hours. I purchased a Twilio number four weeks ago and I still can neither receive calls no more receive voicemails. Tragic. Would not recommend try RingCentral instead

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

It has a very low cost for the service, which is excellent to avoid inflating the IT department's budget. It is very easy to implement and is always active; we have not had any problems because it guarantees business continuity. The tool is powerful, integrating all tools and solutions through Zapier and webhooks, and is just a far-reaching system.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The UXI is a bit cumbersome when it comes to creating subaccounts and viewing analytics; it's so powerful that you can get lost, but that's a minor issue since I'm sure someone with more knowledge can be more efficient in its use.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In Llamando al Doctor, we use Twilio to leverage WhatsApp Business tools. It is very useful for sending medical prescriptions and attendance certificates in PDF format via WhatsApp to patients. We also use it for sending and confirming medical appointments, as well as managing cancellations and all appointment and communication management, both for doctors and patients.

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

One of the best things about Twilio is how easy it makes verifying identities with OTPs (One-Time Passwords). It's super reliable and fast, which is crucial for keeping things secure. Plus, it's flexible enough to integrate into different platforms seamlessly. Overall, Twilio's OTP verification is a lifesaver for keeping accounts safe without causing headaches for users.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

One downside of Twilio is its requirement to make a payment before sending OTPs to unverified numbers. It would be helpful if they offered a few free trials or a minimum number of chances to try before requiring payment. While the overall experience is positive, this initial barrier can be a bit frustrating for users who want to test the service before committing to payment.

Twilio solves the problem of secure communication by providing reliable OTP verification services. This benefits me by ensuring that only authorized users can access my platforms or services, enhancing security and trust. What I like about Twilio is its user-friendly system—the API alone is straightforward, and integration with communication systems is super easy. Reliable it is.

Thoough some features are easy to use, the advanced ones tend to get tricky to implement. Also, the cost is a bit high especially if it's used by high-volume users.

Twilio is platform or tool from which you can use twilio credentials into the project and user the feature of chat and video meeting. 

Twilio has two features chat and video meeting from which n number of users can use and integrate into a particular project. 

For twilio chat you have to integrate their API into your system and use the twilio account.

As i have used twilio for sometime, i did not face any problems while using it . 
yes, i want to add some views that when the account is being suspened they should email about the account and after user can make payment.

Twilio as software has been solving as a communication platform and video platform for the users. we have been using twilio and using their API's and have integrated into our system. 
User can chat with in the system i.,e. user can chat one to one and the conversation is created.
User can create meeting while using the twilio API and user can easily create meetings.

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

We use Twilio for automated whatsapp notifications that send both prescriptions and medical orders to patients and scheduled appointment reports to doctors from our cloud telehealth platform. Usually medical appointments have modifications and cancellations and it is very useful to notify everything by whatsapp.
It gives us confidence as a provider as we transmit sensitive personal data.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

In some cases, the guides have some limitations, sometimes we have to find out from the Community how to solve a problem. Customer Support is not the best

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have integrated our software with Twilio Whatsapp API to send patients their prescriptions and appointment information, as well as links to log in to our application.
APIs and SDKs are also easy to integrate so it is not time consuming. 
Changes are also easy to make

Twilios with its API consistently delivers every important notification either via call or through SMS.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

UI UX can be improved and It is a bit costly.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is one of the easiest ways to set up alerts. I've used the Twilio SDK to set up call alerts to notify when any of the services are down. For alerts, real-time communication notification is important and Twilio does that job superbly. They provide was with a fixed phone number that can help prevent alerts from being flagged as spam. We can also save this phone number and take action if we know that it is off the alert before picking up the call. Which is very helpful.

I am  so much in love with Twilio segment's customer journey feature . As a team we've utilized this feature to unify the different teams and tools within my organization , to create seamless personalized customer engagement processes where conversations and engagement with customers is continuous, across the different teams they encounter while using our products and services .
 In summary, Twilio's journey feature lets us  meet sales prospects where they are, by making use of real-time data collection, thereby ensuring that we are influencing the  outcomes we want through multi-step engagements and interactions which drive results.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

In situations where we have made use of Twilio's sms delivery or voice services, cost is definitely an area of concern. However, when we have compared the value and reliability we get from Twilio with the price we are paying, especially when juxtaposed with the quality we've gotten from Twilio alternatives , I can say the high price is not too bad for my team ,as far as we keep achieving sales results using Twilio.

I feel it is costly even though the quality of the product and the number of features provided are good. If the cost can be reduced a bit, then low usage users will benefit a lot.

Twilio has everything we need for messaging, and for the most part, it's easy to use

We've been a Twilio customer for 7 years, but recently, our messages have been filtered by carriers, and we're not sure why. Unfortunately, Twilio's customer support has gone radio silent, and we've been waiting for over 2 months for a resolution to the problem. Meanwhile, we're missing out on crucial customer communication, and it's causing us to lose thousands of sales. We have always been happy with Twilio, but right now, they're actively hurting our business, and we're exploring other options.

The need for leasing a phone number is quite high for $35, while probably many others use the same number.

Twilio's messaging reliability is exactly what we had been looking for and they made it easier for one-time passcodes to be sent promptly to our new users who register to use our Handyman app.

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

As a software developer, I am mostly thrilled by the quality of documentations which Twilio has made available over the years, regardless of what Twilio product we are trying to integrate into our apps, whether it is Twilio Flex, Twilio voice, programmable messaging or even elastic SIP trunking. Twilio just provides everything we need including API reference documentation, SDKs in my preferred programming language and a customer service team that once helped me edit my Twilio codebase.
 The above makes Twilio easy to implement and maintain without major problems.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Twilio does a good job as far as I am concerned. Its service is sacalable,  it boasts a 99.9% uptime rate and its support for major programming language is just beautiful. For me, no sms/voice communication platform even comes close to Twilio because of some of the aforementioned reasons mentioned above.

Twilio is used for different purposes in my company , depending on the team and department. At my department, Twilio powers our two factor authentication and multi factor authentication protocols, ensuring that our products are safer.

Customer support is quite fast. It's a complicated system with no set safety precautions.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Our system got an SMS attack and they agreed to discharge all our account money. Fortunately, it has just reached daily spending which is $2k, and then stopped. They refuse to refund or provide any credits. They just say that we should take care of it with our security measures however we set to charge only USD 25 when the balance goes below $5. But these happened in a very short time so we even did not get an email about these transactions.

We are a software product company and we provide Whatsapp Integration with our product through Twilio API. Our customers can work on our software and interact with their users on Whatsapp without leaving the software. All conversations are carried out by APIs

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The software comes with a steep learning curve. Although there are guides posted on their website by Twilio the guides have limitations and we have to look towards community support for some queries e.g. decoding error logs

We offer helpdesk portal as our software product. One of the capabilities of our software is providing integration with Whatsapp where the WhatsApp messages can be converted into tickets, and the agents resolving the issue reply through the helpdesk. The reply goes as a WhatsApp message. We have integrated our software with Twilio Whatsapp API as Twilio is well known brand and supports 100+ countries worldwide. Thus we can offer our software to wider worldwide audience.
Also as we use our own software to manage our tickets too, we have integrated our company's whatsapp no too with Twilio.

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I actually really liked the service, mainly how easy that made it to add SMS capabilities to my app. But there are plenty of other tools that can do this.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

t the beginning, my experience with Twilio was quite positive. However, recent regulation changes concerning SMS and phone numbers have brought some challenges to light. I believe that Twilio could have been clearer and more proactive in their communication about these adjustments and their implications.

Upon seeking clarification, I was initially reassured by Chris from support that all was in order on my end. Unfortunately, a few days later, I experienced disruptions with the SMS alerts from my app.

While I understand the weight of my concerns may vary, I felt the urgency of resolving these issues given the critical role of Twilio's SMS infrastructure for my application. I engaged with their support on 8/11, and by 8/14, I'm still awaiting a comprehensive solution.

I recognize that Twilio cannot control external regulation changes. However, as an infrastructure application, I believe it's paramount for them to offer responsive and insightful support. Addressing issues promptly can significantly mitigate the downstream impact on customers like myself.

I truly hope Twilio takes this feedback seriously, as it's essential for them to maintain trust and reliability in their service. While I have reservations now, I believe every company has room to learn and grow. Potential users should be aware and consider my experience in their decision-making process.

For now, I'd recommend that anybody with an app that needs to send critical alerts stays clear of Twilio.

Twilio allow me to send OTP sms notifications from my app, as well as transactional SMS notifications informing my customers anytime their form is submitted from one of my forms.

The only downside of using Twilio is that there should be more free trials before actual buying of plan.

Easy API hookup - that is really the only redeeming quality

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The customer service was some of the most inept, rude, and smug people I have ever dealt with - even with folks that are "higher ups" within the company. 

We were spending over $100k a year with them since 2022. They overcharged us by $18k in 2023 and only gave us back a $9k credit. 


Due to the issue, we told them we would not be renewing our contract if they did not assign us a new account rep since our experience with ours was atrocious. They told us we would not be getting a new account rep so we are leaving. Such an easy fix and they wouldn't help us out. 

We used Twilio every single day so just know that they brought us to our breaking point.

Trying to get a new number approved has become impossible and they won't give you a reason as to why phone applications are being denied. Support team is useless.

They laid off a huge amount of their work force and it shows. The company is going donwhill fast. The Twilio we worked with in 2022 is not the Twilio that is offered in 2023. A huge waste of money and they are extremely deceptive.

I like how Twilio drives our user authentication process through a single API that does the job of an otp ( one-time password ), while also guarding our verification process against artificially inflated traffic attacks by continuously monitoring our current and previous sms traffic behaviour.  Twilio has on numerous occasions successfully identified and blocked verification sms transmissions to destinations suspected to be fraudulent, thereby saving our product from exploitation and my organization from financial loss .

I am satisfied with Twilio's performance in terms of our reliance on it for  user verification and product notifications delivery, and I confidently rate it as a flawless 10/10. Twilio has consistently not only met but often surpasses the requirements and expectations of my department's use-cases for this platform.

If you are planning an A2P campaign with Twilio, don't waste your time and go elsewhere.

Twilio's integration with our CRM is at the core of our business. It links call recordings and text message history to the profile of each customer so we never lose track of any communication with customers or our internal team.

While we can make outbound calls just fine, the biggest pain point we have with Twilio is the inability to answer incoming calls. If the customer is assigned to a specific user in our CRM, it will forward to their personal cell phone, but we'd rather be able to answer it from within our CRM.

As a developer I wanted to explore Twilio's API. I was very excited about the possibilities, but I had no specific project in mind.After paying 20$ and upgrading my account, they suspended it, asking me all kinds of backward questions like what is my business, requiring me to send them emails from the server where my application is.After trying to answer their questions they replied:"After careful review, we will not be able to approve your account and unable to provide details regarding decisions made in the account review process. We apologize for any inconvenience caused."

I understand that they are trying to protect themselves from spammers but I did 
not abuse the service. I did nothing wrong.They could also ask for my id or find other ways of detecting spammers.
Very disappointed.
