**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick P. | Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2020

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I love the ease of use of the platform and the fact that I am able to schedule tweets to go out even when I'm not actively at my computer waiting to post. It's so easy to use and free that it almost makes it unnecessary to use a secondary posting platform to schedule my posts out.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

TweetDeck at times is a bit of a cluttered interface. For account management (such as seeing like, messages, mentions, etc.) I find it easier to use the main Twitter website and thus usually have both open when making my social media posts.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Evaluate what you're using the program for. Personally I prefer using TweetDeck to using paid alternatives because it allows me the same functionality.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main use for TweetDeck for me in my role is to schedule and post out tweets even when I am not at my desk. I love that I can schedule out an entire day of Twitter posts in a matter of minutes and trust that they will go out on time without issue.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

If you are looking for a scheduler for tweets, then go for it.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This application is best suited for media agencies that handle many accounts of the clients. They can make use of this application. ### 8. Very handy to stay up to date with the world.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amari M. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

As a teacher that's not too young, nor too old, I'm smack in the middle of the "Lingo" that the younger students use. I try to relate to them more by bringing up real world topics, stuff from outside of work, to make the school feel more alive, and less like a day in and day out learning ground. I love it when one student says "Oh you've heard about that too?" then a popup discussion occurs. This extension really brings that "real world connection" to the workplace, and I genuinely Love it! I also love that it's free. I'd definitely take money out of my pockets to use this application. Kudos for twitter to developing this program, too! No one would know their own platform like them!

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Sometimes, and this is completely at RANDOM, but it'll freeze my PC, and occasionally my laptop as well. It's a really annoying bug and I've left a review about it on my phone.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Try to have a minuscule amount of tabs open, because it often causes lag.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to stay up to date with the world, and what's happening with social media without having to look down at my phone and scroll down, which is an obvious and blatant disrespect to do on the workplace.

  ### 9. Content Scheduling Made Easier

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adeeb S. | Brand Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2020

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

TweetDeck helps me strategize & organize my corporate Twitter account with much ease & perfection. I use it everyday to keep an eye on the Tweet activity & follow trends so to get content insights for publishing posts. Content scheduling is a piece of cake with TweetDeck. You can easily schedule your daily tweets in not more than ten minutes, the process of scheduling tweets is remarkably easy. TweetDeck lets you track the trending news, hashtags, new messages & notifications in a way more simplified manner. I have transformed my TweetDeck account into a dynamic news editor by creating columns for hashtags, handles, trends and searches. It helps me in focusing on different subjects simultaneously & deriving out the relevant information.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Keyboard shortcuts are amiss at TweetDeck. The mere press of a wrong button triggers off a direct message and erroneous messages are send out to the subscribers. The limitation of non-editing on a scheduled post do lets me down. If I have to edit a scheduled post, I have to either delete or repost it. Also, I would truly wish to access my multiple account with a single TweetDeck dais. Everytime, I have to logout from one account to check the status of my other account. It's tedious & irritating at times.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For marketing professionals like me, TweetDeck is a lifesaver. I can schedule & post tweets easily and in a timely manner, even in the instance of being offline & having no internet access. It helps me in keeping abreast with the industry trends & target hashtags. With a curated set of defined columns, taking stock of the specific events, people & news has become as simple as ABC.

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I really like that TweetDeck effectively organizes all of my tweets in a user-friendly way, especially for the news. I find it much more useful than the typical Twitter screen.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have solved the issue of not being able to have multiple tweets from different users on one page at the same time. However, with TweetDeck, this issue is eliminated and I can benefit from looking at different people's tweets all in one window.

6 advantages of using TweetDeck
One of the main platforms for managing Twitter is TweetDeck. Thanks to its columns and its configuration and design possibilities, it has long become one of the main applications for using Twitter.

The truth is that TweetDeck is a very good application to be able to see Twitter our way, both in design and in columns. It is also a tool that in recent years has been improving a lot so that today it is one of the most competitive.

Beyond explaining how to download or how to use it, today I am going to give you X advantages of using TweetDeck and, if they convince you, there will be time to explain different aspects of its use to get the most out of it.

Among many others, 6 advantages of using TweetDeck are:

1- Its columns. It is what makes it so special, being able to put endless columns on what word or thing we want. We can monitor everything we want from the tool.

tweetdeck logo
2- Integration with Bit.ly. The application also gives us the possibility to integrate with our Bit.yl account, in such a way that every link that we publish through TweetDeck automatically becomes our bit.ly account.

3- Configure columns. We can customize each TweetDeck column in such a way that the content it shows us is much more selected.

4- Alerts. We can also put alerts in certain columns, so that every time there is a news we get a notification.

5- Schedule Tweets. If we want an alternative to HootSuite or Buffer, we can also schedule tweets in TweetDeck.

6- It is free. Everything TweetDeck offers is free, there is no paid part.

So far my 6 advantages of using TweetDeck, I hope they have been useful and helpful.

Do you have more advantages? Do you like TweetDeck? Do you use it?

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

When publishing from Tweetdeck, now we have to choose in which account only the tweet will be published, nor can we retweet the same tweet from two different accounts. And it does not have a mobile App available, so it is less comfortable and flexible.

In principle, it offers its services for free, although there is talk of the integration of a possible "Premium" payment plan.
Neither in its free version, nor in the cheapest plan that is the "PRO", it is not used for monitoring or analysis.

It has several payment plans, in its free plan you can program 10 publications, the PRO version is quite inexpensive and the one that is used the most is the Business Plan.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Well, nothing just to tell you that despite the aforementioned drawbacks it is a very good app and I recommend it.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its interface can be divided into multi-columns that show different sections. You can also divide multiple users into groups. TweetDeck interacts with Twitscoop, 12seconds and Stocktwits, all of which can appear in different columns. Another positive point is that the program itself allows us to shorten URL's from its interface.
It is true that it is less known than Hootsuite or Tweetdesk but its motto is "the secret weapon of community managers". It allows us to schedule content on several social networks and the main ones: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest. It has a mobile App.
It allows you to schedule up to 1,000 posts, pins or tweets at once from an Excel sheet or a Google Docs file, it automatically adds a watermark logo to your publications and it has a Blog with articles of interest to help you optimize your management on social networks.

  ### 21. TweetDeck Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** lisa b. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2020

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

It's really great for businesses to manage their twitter account as it allows you to schedule tweets typically a week in advance so that you are not under pressure to try and produce live tweets. It also enables you to change/edit or reschedule tweets prior which is fairly easy. It's great for managing multiple twitter accounts and it helps to categorize and collate conversations, groups and topics on social media.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

The interface can get a bit busy when working/managing multiple twitter accounts. As a result, it only really works well on larger screens such as tablets and computers which is a downside as I mostly use my phone for tweets. They need to improve their mobile version. It removes the analytics from an individual tweet which makes it difficult to determine which tweets are being viewed the most.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using TweetDeck to managing our twitter account and to manage to multiple accounts.

  ### 22. TweetDeck keeps your content flowing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louise M. | Producer and Media Director for The Salon (Digital Series), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2020

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I have used TweetDeck for several years. There are times when you need to pre-program content for a client or your own use, and TweetDeck fills that need. My favorite part of TweetDeck is that multiple accounts can be programmed by a single user. So, I am able to work on one platform and switch among clients with just one or two clicks.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I honestly cannot think of something I dislike, as this is a free program that is quite versatile.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

It is simple, but limited as it only covers Twitter. You may need to supplement with other social media services.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I am running a campaign, for example for a TweetChat, I may wish to upload in advance some content that will roll out before or after the chat that is information and "evergreen" content. Also, if I am attending an event, perhaps a red carpet event for a film festival, I may wish to preprogram some facts about the film festival in lieu of posting during the event. Being able to preprogram content, but not too much, is a good use of this platform.

  ### 23. Useful Tool Everyone Should Use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2020

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I really like that it is simply an extension of your Twitter account. No additional logins needed. I also like that it is easy to follow and track other accounts and popular topics and hashtags all in one convenient place.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Unfortunately, this is for Twitter only. It doesn't work for other social media platforms. Therefore, if you are running multiple social media accounts on different platforms, not everything is in one place.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Highly recommend for businesses whose only social media activity is on Twitter. Definitely would be the most cost-effective solution since it is free.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps keep track of everything at once, your tweets, your hastags and your messages and your notifications. Everything is all in one place. It really streamlines the whole process of monitoring what is going on on Twitter.

  ### 24. Managing our Twitter platform has never been easier

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2020

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I like best about the Tweetdeck platform that it is so straightforward to use. Compared to other similar platforms Tweet deck has a fairly minimal design platform that makes easy to simultaneously view many notifications, schedulrd tweets, DMs and activity from accounts you follow. It also has a feature to input a certain date, engagement volume, or location, when searching for a certain hashtag. The platform makes its very easy to customize what you want to see by clicking and dragging columns --so you can personalize it to your needs!

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I disliked that Tweetdeck had limitation when it came to editinf a scheduled post, whenever I had to edit a scheduled tweet it ended up with me having to either delete or repost it.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Use bit.ly with your scheduled tweets in Tweetdeck to track the engagement after its published.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been quite helpful when it comes to managing my multiple twitter accounts. Before I took a longer time for me to plan out the tweets I wanted to do on each account, now I am able to schedule my daily tweets in less than ten minutes!

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2020

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I really like how Tweet deck provides a user friendly way to see recent and relevant tweets. I used it for work and found it to be incredibly helpful to sift through recent tweets on international news from a variety of voice and in different languages.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

It was initially hard for me to understand how to pin certain tweets or accounts, but after doing some research I was able to tailor the settings to what worked best for me.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have solved issues with visually analyzing and comparing different tweets from different sources. It used to be very challenging to continue to scroll up and down or search for different accounts and now I strongly benefit in terms of productivity having it all visible in one window.

  ### 27. Clean UI, Easy Management and, Best of All, Free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edwin G. | Content Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2020

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

To begin with, it’s free. Unlike many comparable social media management apps, you get access to all Tweetdeck features for free. It’s a great tool for personal use. Small business owners that want to have social media presence can use because it lets you run multiple accounts. You can run a team account that you and colleagues can manage.

The UI is excellent. It’s clean and intuitive. You can see multiple streams at once, including the home feed, notifications, user’s tweets, messages, likes and scheduled tweets. This way of displaying your Twitter makes running the account seamless as you can respond to each stream on the same page. On Twitter web, you open a different page for each of these streams.

Lastly, Tweetdeck’s scheduling feature lets you post your tweet at times when you know your audience will be online.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

The only downside to Tweetdeck is that the support is rather lacking. Human-to-human interactions are not available. A support link at the bottom of the page is all you get. The link takes you to a knowledge base. Email, phone and live chat support are not available. Given the app’s easy usability, however, you may not need to reach support much of the time.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tweetdeck to run my personal Twitter account, which also doubles as my professional account. The multiple streams make it easy for me to manage my account without jumping from page to page. It saves me money because it's free.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I cannot find a way to resize a single columns columns against the other columns. The setting only provide an option to resize all the columns but not a single one.

  ### 36. TweetDeck Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley F. | Contributor, Public Relations and Communications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 01, 2020

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

It's an amazing and innovative way to see everything that's going on on twitter at once

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Honestly there isn't anything I don't like

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Set it to the dark mode! Not only does it look nicer, it's easier on the eyes as well! Also there are so many variations on how you can set up TweetDeck. You can really make it your own to fit your needs and wants. You can choose the categories that appear, the size of each column, the size of the font, and the order of the columns. I find this super helpful. I put the stuff that I look at the most first and then work my way to what I used the least to the right side of the screen.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get to see all the notifications I get while on the same screen, the same with DMs. Also, I just get things done even quicker on TweetDeck. It's helpful when I'd live tweeting a soccer game for the team that I work for. I can tweet out what I need to, see what's going on with other teams, interact with fans and other teams, and much, much more. TweetDeck has really stepped up my Twitter interactions which helps my team's social media presence overall since we are very present on Twitter now. I owe it to TweetDeck.

  ### 37. An undoubtedly amazing program

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Boris R. | VP Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2020

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I love that this program is essential for a specific social network that we frequently use. I like that you can filter based on what type of content is in a tweet. In addition, TweetDeck is excellent in very specific types of commitments. That is, I love the function that allows me to monitor a search term. On the other hand I like that you can configure alerts for different things, search for specific content and sort by users or user mentions. It is a great program that synchronizes with other operating systems easily.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

It has a slightly high learning curve, but I think it is the impact it causes by having many tools. With much practice this ceases to be a weakness and becomes a strength. I also don't like that I can't manage or connect accounts to be able to approve or send publications to a shared business account before publishing them.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Before acquiring this great program it would be important to understand all the additional features available. The user would have to clearly understand the intersections of data that he is looking for, since if he is not in the same objective or demand that his company requires, TweetDeck will not be very helpful. But if you are looking for specific account management on Twitter you are really in good luck because it is a great tool.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to this software, we can keep up with the opportunities in which we could be part of a conversation or learn new information. Personally, it is my best source of information in the industry and which I project to my work group based on the information that I can get through my work. We can have a successful analysis and management of the tweets and widely recognize what suits us and those that don't. It has undoubtedly been very solid because it allows us to further amplify messages through retweets and easy answers.

  ### 38. TweetDeck

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria R. | Director of Administrative and Technical Resources , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2020

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

Well, since I discovered the TweetDeck tool, it seemed quite interactive to me. You can keep track of several specific Twitter functions at once, meaning that while you view the most recent stories, you can also see what's trending in hashtags. Of course, this tool also has filters that allow you to quickly find our interests in accounts and tweets that are really useful or appealing to us. This tool is really easy to understand and especially to use, so there will be no excuses when it comes to saying you didn't know what was happening on Twitter.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Although it is an easy-to-use tool, I ended up knowing it through my daughter, since for a person who only has one profile, it is not very useful. Of course, for those who manage more than one account, it is completely remarkable and easy to use.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

What I can say is that it is a favorite app for those who love to share their life and time on Twitter.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having to open multiple tabs or keep loading the page is something that is made easier with this tool, because if you have slow Internet, this will help you a lot, because on a single screen or rather window, you will be able to view everything you need from your favorite news and information, and if you can also engage in conversations about it in the messages, you will also have great help in that regard. In short, it allows you to communicate interactively on Twitter.

I like the ability to monitor multiple twitter feeds using the columns function, while also having columns for mentions, search and more.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I wish the scheduling feature was easier to navigate and monitor. I ended up needing an additional service (Buffer) to facilitate the scheduling of tweets, due to the volume of tweeting we do.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Twitter for monitoring our twitter accounts. It makes it simple to monitor multiple accounts at once.

This incredible tool is very helpful as it allows us to open any of our social networks and have all the information from our desktop or via mobile. It provides immediacy to view tweets, RTs, or my favorites, create columns at my whim or according to my needs at that moment. I can even create and customize columns based on what I want to know, an excellent option to stay informed at all times.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I have no complaints, very easy to use, fast, comfortable, its environment is very pleasant, it doesn't tire the eyes, it has notifications with or without sound, it all depends on how we like it, an excellent tool to stay informed.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

If you don't like the official Twitter app, this is the best option to check it out, you can open all your social networks in the same way.

On challenge i face is that when the application requires you to be having a program download.

This is great because on a single desk I can see absolutely everything.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2019

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

Tweetdeck is a must-have for media professionals looking to keep up with a fast-paced, always-changing news environment. As a reporter, I use Tweetdeck to keep tabs on multiple social media streams at once — I might have a curated list on one column, activity in another, and then a third or fourth column open for quick-hit searches that help me track down information on topics I'm researching.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Tweetdeck can certainly be a bit overwhelming. Even though I use Tweetdeck as a professional, I don't think I'd ever trade it for the basic, good old-fashioned Twitter app. It's frustrating that you can't open up profiles in columns, and I find myself constantly switching between Twitter and Tweetdeck throughout the day.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

I'd certainly recommend TweetDeck for anyone who needs to optimize their social media use and who needs to stay organized in a fast-paced media environment. It's especially useful for journalists!
