I like the ability to monitor across various platforms, including top tier, local, and podcasts. The monitoring tools work well, particularly the watch terms, which help me filter coverage by client or search term. Without the watch terms, I wouldn't be able to effectively monitor my clients' names or executive exposure across broadcasts, which is especially helpful for national announcements and gathering local media coverage. There are two main issues: clipping segments is very slow and clunky. It takes way too long to clip and it's not beneficial -- the old platform worked a lot faster with this. Sometimes the clips autoplay at the watch term mention even after you clip it. When you hit the scissors to clip, it shouldn't restart/take you to a new window almost, it should already be an option to start/end clips and clip them. Also, the generate link takes a long time to work sometimes and doesn't always copy/paste correctly. I typically use TVEyes Insight to clip broadcast coverage for clients, which is very helpful. The clipping ability is something I really like because my clients like to have physical clips, and TVEyes makes that possible. There are a lot of things under Insight that don't work—it's not a user-friendly program anymore, even with additional training. Additionally, I dislike how difficult it is to get additional stations picked up. I like that TVEyes allows you to edit and store clips directly within the platform, making it easy for me to find clips to share with the team later as needed. It also allows me to have a tangible link to track in a spreadsheet along with other digital and print mentions, which is really convenient.
