## TVEyes Reviews
 ### 1. Effective if you know what you are looking for

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam S. | Director of Media Engagement, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like the ability to immediately pull HD clips and link to them through this software, and the reports allow you to easily track the viewership data that is critical to our clients.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The most frustrating part of TV Eyes is the search terms and how often they fail to catch the stories that feature your clients, often because the closed captioning used to find your keywords is way off and spelled so differently from the actual term, you would never think to search for it. This makes it a time-intensive and non-intuitive process that can be frustrating.

I also find the editing tool frustrating for the inability to clip tighter, often forcing you to have someone starting to speak in the middle of a word – it's not very clean.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TV Eyes helps us show clients the stories we got on the air for them and the viewership data that helps them make decisions about their PR budgets and whether or not we are achieving their goals. Essentially, it allows us to "sell" our results to our clients and keep tabs on how we are performing.

 ### 2. Comprehensive News Monitoring with Minor Transcript Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew N. | Digital Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I find TVEyes incredibly valuable because it provides access to every national media market, which is great for tracking news trends. It's especially helpful for finding trends in the news and seeing if a topic is being mentioned across local news channels, morning shows, and evening news broadcasts. I also appreciate that TVEyes gives us access to local news that other databases like Snapstream and Nexis don't. The initial setup was very easy, and it's nice that we can manage multiple accounts.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I find the auto transcript service is not always accurate.

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

The search engine is very easy, so if that's your main priority then this is the right product.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to find clips of local and national news. It provides access to local news that other databases don't have, and lets me track news trends across all media markets.

 ### 3. Saves Time But Needs UI Refresh

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan S. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I find TVEyes to be user-friendly, which streamlines the process of tracking Democratic senators in Michigan as they appear in media. It saves our company countless hours weekly and reduces manpower costs since we don't need to actively monitor news cycles. I appreciate the feature that emails me videos, allowing for easy recording and distribution of content. Additionally, it keeps me knowledgeable about local happenings.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I find the user interface of TVEyes to be a bit dated and in need of an upgrade in terms of look and feel. Additionally, the speed at which videos are sent could be improved, as the emails sometimes take longer than expected.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find the product saves countless hours by automating news tracking and minimizes manpower costs, while keeping me informed about local events.

 ### 4. Great for Tracking PR Hits, Challenging Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I use TVEyes whenever we do a PR campaign for a client. It shows me all the broad hits and radio, if any, which I can go back to and show the efficacy of the PR campaign. It solves the problem of getting broadcast hits and especially little clips that I can share. I appreciate that it's pretty easy to put, like, five or six clips into a folder report, making it easy to group placements together. I like that you can do the share link, which is pretty quick. Initially, I was downloading every single clip, but now I just do a share link instead and put that on a spreadsheet, which is so much easier.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I find it challenging that everything doesn't pull into a spreadsheet very cleanly, so presenting a white label report is harder. Also, TVEyes doesn't provide ROI or any kind of PR measurement for success. The initial setup was very hard; it wasn't user intuitive, and I had to contact customer service multiple times and watch videos. Even with training, I feel we're not using it as well as we could. There's a lot of features that require tweaking, and I wish the process of running reports was more automatic and AI-driven, like filtering out ads from actual media placements and providing a clear report on media placements, audience reach, and advertising value equivalent that I can present to the client.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to track broadcast hits for our PR campaigns. It solves the problem of gathering clips to show clients their news placements, providing clear proof of our efforts.

 ### 5. TVEyes Streamlines Media Monitoring and Clip Discovery for Faster Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes has been extremely helpful for our media monitoring and reporting needs. It makes it easy to find and pull clips that mention or feature the Citizen app across broadcast and cable news, which saves our team a lot of manual searching. It's streamlined our overall data and social listening process, letting us quickly compile coverage for reports and share highlights with stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Most of my issues were with the platform's design, but the recent redesign has made a big improvement. One thing I'd still like to see improved is clip visibility - it would help if it were easier to quickly view and access the actual clips within the platform.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using TVEyes, tracking down media mentions of the Citizen app across broadcast and cable news was a manual, time-consuming process. Now we can quickly search for and pull clips that feature Citizen, which streamlines our social listening and reporting workflow. This lets us compile coverage highlights for stakeholders much faster than before.

 ### 6. Fantastic Real-Time Alerts, Responsive Support, and a User-Friendly Dashboard

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean M. | Owner, Insightful Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The realtime insight alerts for keywords on my watchlist are fantastic! We have reached out to customer service about the accuracy of audience measurements in those reports and there was quick and responsive action taken to adjust those numbers. The dashboard and overall interface are very user-friendly and easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The quality and resolution of clips is poor and it would be SO helpful to have the option to download higher quality versions. As far as audience measurement is concerned, it would be nice to have more clarity on how the. average viewership is calculated for a given time period. And how often that average viewership is updated (i.e. monthly, quarterly, annually).
We also produce a weekly podcast called Vegas Revealed and even though we do get alerts that a new episode has dropped, there are no analytics. That information would be amazing.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since our independently produced TV show, Vegas Revealed, airs on various stations throughout the southwest, it is incredibly helpful get audience insights. This also helps to show ROI to the sponsors of our show.

 ### 7. Effortless Media Monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like how easy TVEyes is to use, and how easy it is to onboard other team members. The notification emails are helpful, and the broadcast quality is good. The newsletter feature is a favorite among our team as it helps us by automating work it would otherwise take a junior team member or an intern an hour or so to pull together each day. The initial setup was very easy, and the team was great.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

It could be a bit more cost-effective, but it’s still more affordable than the other options out there.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes lets me accurately capture and share all broadcast mentions with ease. It’s user-friendly and simplifies onboarding, while the automation saves an hour of manual work. Notification emails, good broadcast quality, and the team-favorite newsletter feature are particularly valuable.

 ### 8. Terrific Reporting, Fast Media Coverage Access, and Insightful Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer S. | Director of Public Relations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It is terrific to be able to run reports, get fast access to our earned media coverage, save everything in the Media Center, and review our analytics.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I can't say I dislike anything, though the interface is a bit outdated.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It used to be cumbersome to collect all of our earned media in one place and run reports which I can show to upper management. TVEyes allows me to catch some clips that I may not have previously been aware of and to see how far our reach goes in our region and even nationally.

 ### 9. Pros and Cons of TV Eyes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TV Eyes is helpful in securing both television and radio clips for clients at my firm. For the most part, I am able to find interviews with key personnel and footage of clients and their relevant properties.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

One of my biggest issues with TV Eyes is the editing capabilities. I am not always able to get a clean edit of the radio and/or video clips I am looking to save. As someone who has used editing tools like Final Cut Pro and iMovie to create my own movies/video packages, it's frustrating to not always be able to provide clients with clean cut edits of relevant clips.

Additionally, the transcript/search term tools leave something to be desired. There are times when I have to search with different key words in order to find a clip; this is tiresome when the key word that should have popped up is already in the story and yet TV Eyes' transcript tool didn't catch it.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TV Eyes is helping solve how many times a given story/interview airs on local/national TV and radio channels. This benefits my firm and I by providing clients with proof of earned media dollars.

 ### 10. Efficient Media Monitoring with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha S. | PR Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like TVEyes because it's easy to use, and it has very responsive customer service. It makes running reports really easy and time efficient, so it doesn't take up a large part of my day. The initial setup was very easy with the help of the TVEyes support team.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes the search is hard, and I don't always get exactly what I want on the first try. Learning what search terms to use can be tricky, and maybe there could be something to help you learn those a little quicker.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes for media monitoring and creating reports for leadership, showing our marketing efforts are successful. It makes running reports easy and time-efficient, saving my day.

 ### 11. Effortlessly Monitors, But Pricey for Small Businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Breanna S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I use TVEyes for my business, mainly to monitor for media coverage we've secured for clients. It saves me a lot of time from manually searching for coverage. I can easily set up an alert and have TVEyes scan for me and email me hits. I really like how user-friendly the platform is. The monitoring tool is the most valuable feature for me, especially with the ability to set up email alerts for when search terms are hit. The initial setup was pretty easy because I had used it before, so I was familiar with the platform.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

It's a little pricy as a small business owner. I wish in general these tools were more affordable. Offering a discount for businesses that have less than 10 employees. It's just me, so it's a hard cost to take on, even though the tool is useful.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes saves me a lot of time by automatically monitoring media coverage for clients and emailing me hits, eliminating manual searches.

 ### 12. Efficient and Quick with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I love that TVEyes is super quick and easy to use. I also really love the customer service. It's really helpful that TVEyes has quick reporting, allowing us to see the segments we film and get those numbers out to clients quickly. This feature allows us to check numbers and see how our reach has grown over time, showing validity and increasing the likelihood that we'll be booked again in the future. During the initial setup, I faced no challenges, and it was super helpful having Dylan guide us.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I had to play around a while with the search when I first started using it. It took some time figuring out how to get the filters right and to find the TV stations I was looking for.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to clearly view the numbers and who we are reaching on different segments, which helps increase our revenue. It provides quick reporting, allowing us to showcase numbers to clients and check our reach growth, boosting contract renewals.

 ### 13. Streamlines News Monitoring with Downloadable Clips

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariah H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like that TVEyes allows me to stay up to date on what's going on in all our targeted races across the country. I appreciate being able to download and preserve clips that are important, as it helps me store clips that would otherwise be hard to categorize and to use them in the future if needed. The initial setup was fairly easy, and although it has changed a bit since I last used it in 2014, the fundamentals remain the same.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I find the organization of clips when searching for someone hard to navigate. There are a lot of duplicates, and it takes me a while to weed through them. I also don't like that when I go back from a clip, it puts me back at the top of the page instead of letting me resume where I was.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes helps me stay up to date on targeted news coverage and lets me download important clips to store for future use.

 ### 14. Great Real-Time Broadcast Monitoring, but UI Needs Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Safety | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The broadcast monitoring is genuinely useful for what we do at Citizen. Being able to search TV and radio transcripts close to real time means we catch relevant mentions way faster than before. The clipping feature is something I use pretty much every week, makes it easy to pull a specific segment and share it internally. Honestly it has cut down a lot of the manual work our team used to do tracking coverage.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The UI feels a bit dated compared to other tools we use at Citizen. It can take some time to get new people up to speed on how searches are structured. Would also love better export options for reports.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Citizen we need to stay on top of how local news and TV outlets are covering our public safety incidents in real time. TVEyes lets us track when and where we're being mentioned in broadcast media, which we couldn't really do before without paying someone to manually monitor coverage. It saves us probably a few hours a week and we catch mentions we definitely would have missed otherwise.

 ### 15. Valuable Media Monitoring with Easy Global Searches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris F. | Principal, Public Policy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like the fact that I can search across the globe for certain cable pieces and find local outlets in any part of the United States. The ability to clip certain parts of the segments and use them for presentations and to show clients is really useful. It allows me to see how far a story has reached, whether it's just in one market, across the country, or globally. The clipping allows me to clip the stories before and after to see how they're framed. Additionally, the number of outlets with the commissary ad value shows clients the value of an actual earned media piece. The initial setup of TVEyes was super simple.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I would like to see Fox News and some other outlets that are not allowed to be clipped added to the service.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to identify media trends, search globally for cable pieces, find local outlets, and clip segments for presentations. It helps me track how far a story has reached, frame it with context, and demonstrate the value of earned media to clients.

 ### 16. Real-Time Media Monitoring with Seamless Clipping

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew M. | Senior Vice President, Earned Creative & Media Relations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I really like TVEyes for its ability to clip down coverage and share it seamlessly. This feature gives our clients a nice snapshot of not only the breadth of the coverage we're receiving but, more importantly, what that coverage actually looks like. It's also super easy to set up, as we didn't even need an official tutorial or session with our representative—we just felt comfortable right from the start. TVEyes is no frills and straight to the point, exactly what you need for this kind of usage.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

There are times when we're limited in how we search for our client's coverage just based on the name of our client and how it comes across in transcripts. For instance, one of our clients is La-Z-Boy, and its brand name is formatted as l a dash z dash boy. We often have to try search queries like lazy l a z y boy or other variations. I wonder if there's a way that the AI could interpret scripts or transcripts by applying all different spelling variations, phonetic, and otherwise, so that we don't have to run repeats of the same search with different spelling.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find TVEyes solves real-time reporting on the success of media pitches, giving us clear live insight into coverage for clients. It also allows seamless clipping and sharing of coverage, providing clients with engaging visual snapshots of their media presence.

 ### 17. Amazing Transcription Accuracy with Intuitive Search, Clipping, and Sharing Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Honestly, it's amazing how much the transcriptions do manage to catch. The various search tools (both Power Search and date/time) make it easy to dig up coverage that you know aired. And the tools are intuitive for clipping and sharing with colleagues. I like that the coverage is comprehensive and there are so many tools to customize your watchlist.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Some features are clunky. In the new system, it's harder to pull up specific stations and markets when using "Power Search." Sometimes I'll type in the name of a station or market I know is in the system, but it still doesn't show up. Also, when clipping, when you have to load the previous 30 seconds, you lose your place, which is annoying.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes makes it easy to catch coverage/mentions we didn't know about as well as search/clip coverage that we know aired. Being able to quickly clip and share that coverage with our clients is a fantastic service.

 ### 18. Easy Clip Discovery and Fast Availability—TVEyes Delivers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like how easy it is to find and save clips. I also appreciate that the feed stays up to date, and that clips are available shortly after they air.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I don’t dislike anything about it. TVEyes works as expected and meets my needs.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes helps me recap our public relations efforts and share news coverage with key stakeholders. The platform makes it simple to share clips, which makes my recaps more engaging and visual. I also appreciate the data it provides; compared with other platforms I’ve used, TVEyes offers the most realistic and believable data, which in turn makes my recaps feel more credible.

 ### 19. Efficient Media Monitoring with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I use TVEyes for media monitoring, and I like that I can set up keywords to have it send me a report on the frequency of media mentions automatically. I also like that it provides me with audience reach numbers, which helps me get data on our media coverage. Exporting reports to Excel is another feature I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Lately TVEyes has been missing media coverage. It's been difficult to do a manual search to find segments that I know aired. It would be nice if the product worked better or if there was an easier way to get results with a follow-up search. Since the move to Insight, the service seems to not be working as well.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes for media monitoring to find TV and radio mentions and save clips. It lets me set up keywords for automatic reports and provides audience reach numbers, helping me get data on media coverage.

 ### 20. Valuable Monitoring Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kayla P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like the ability to monitor across various platforms, including top tier, local, and podcasts. The monitoring tools work well, particularly the watch terms, which help me filter coverage by client or search term. Without the watch terms, I wouldn't be able to effectively monitor my clients' names or executive exposure across broadcasts, which is especially helpful for national announcements and gathering local media coverage. Additionally, the initial setup of TVEyes was very easy.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

There are two main issues: clipping segments is very slow and clunky. It takes way too long to clip and it's not beneficial -- the old platform worked a lot faster with this. Sometimes the clips autoplay at the watch term mention even after you clip it. When you hit the scissors to clip, it shouldn't restart/take you to a new window almost, it should already be an option to start/end clips and clip them. Also, the generate link takes a long time to work sometimes and doesn't always copy/paste correctly. The autoplay needs to be addressed by clips not defaulting to autoplay and following what you clipped the segment as.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes helps me access broadcast clips for clients and monitor exposure across platforms, including local and podcasts, with effective watch terms to filter coverage.

 ### 21. Empowers Effortless Broadcast Clipping with Valuable Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah H. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2022

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I typically use TVEyes Insight to clip broadcast coverage for clients, which is very helpful. The clipping ability is something I really like because my clients like to have physical clips, and TVEyes makes that possible. I also appreciate the audience demographics feature because it provides valuable insights into who is seeing our placements. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy with Nina's help.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes the search feature doesn't yield the correct results due to on-air mispronunciations or lack of closed captioning.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to easily find broadcast placements, clip them for clients, and provide viewership and ad value. The clipping ability and audience demographics are valuable for client reports.

 ### 22. Powerful Search Features and Always Up-to-Date Results with TVEyes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Binne N. | Principal Research Scientist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

There are many features I love about TVEyes, which I've been using for the past year. I like that it has an excellent algorithm for compiling articles and the flexibility of using search strings. I also like that it's quite easy to perform complex searches, and the information the service provides is always the most up-to-date available.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

We have an excellent team that provides timely customer support. They’ve made my work much easier, and now I can’t imagine working without them.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to run searches and gather information. When you enter specific keywords, a wide range of results appears, and you can also filter your search to find articles from a particular time period. It lets you explore countless articles and videos, and the search engine is genuinely excellent.

 ### 23. Excellent Weekly Reports, Competitive Monitoring, and Instant Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel N. | Director of Marketing and Communications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The weekly reports are excellent, and the ability to monitor the competition is extremely valuable. I really like the breadth of channels, all the system information is presented in a visually appealing way. I also really like the media database, end the instant analysis features is excellent.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I’d like everything to be permanently archived, because it was difficult to enter so many mentions. At times, the platform can feel a bit overwhelming, especially when I’m trying to add a lot at once.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me access to media mentions and makes it easy for us to share successful contacts. It also allows our organization to receive instant alerts and helps me stay on top of media coverage as it happens. On top of that, I can search hashtags efficiently when I need to.

 ### 24. Once Efficient, Now Hinders Workflow

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like that TVEyes serves as a one-stop shop, bringing together in one place the ability to see all of our client's work without having to go to each market or website at different times. It helps streamline our processes as we use it to see what our clients are doing so that we can coach them. Under the old system, it helped with time efficiency.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

There are a lot of things under Insight that don't work—it's not a user-friendly program anymore, even with additional training. It takes three times the amount of time we used to spend on it, and it's gotten to the point where it has inhibited our workflow.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes brings all client work into one place, saving time from visiting each market or website. It helps us see client activities and coach them effectively.

 ### 25. Essential Tool for Media Content Curation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan A. | Social Media and Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I most like the search feature in TVEyes. Sometimes we don't know when our clients are on or where they're on, and it's easy to just look up their name on whatever network. Every hit they have comes up, which is really helpful.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I like the NMS feature a lot better than the new Insight. The new Insight is really hard to use. There's more features, but I feel like it's a little more flawed and doesn't really work as well for what we're trying to accomplish.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes helps us get clips from networks that are hard to access, enabling us to create solid demo reels for clients.

 ### 26. Promising Tool but Needs Polish

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I really appreciate being able to monitor broadcast clips for both TV and radio in our market. It helps me provide clients with their clips promptly without having to rely on media outlets to post them.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I think that TVEyes upgraded their platform before they got all the bugs out. So when you upgrade a program, it's supposed to be easier for the user to use versus more difficult. And I feel like Insight is a lot more challenging to use than easier to use.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes allows me to get client clips quickly without relying on media outlets.

 ### 27. Powerful Advanced Search, but Bugs and Slow Fixes Hurt Transcription

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The two different search options. I like that I am able to get super specific with my search terms using the advanced mode, and that I can do a quick, broad search with the simple mode.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

It takes super long for issues to get fixed and it can be very buggy at times. The transcription doesn't always work either, making it hard to be very precise in my reporting.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to share clips with my team. TVEyes helps us demonstrate how we are supporting our clients and helps us explain why they should keep paying us.

 ### 28. Easy Clip Search by City/Date, But Keyword Tracking and Station Coverage Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I enjoy the ease of searching for clips by knowing the airing city/date/time. It makes it easy to find what I'm looking for as long as I have that information

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I dislike how infrequently it actually tracks my keyword searches. Oftentimes I'm unable to find a clip without manually searching by city/date/time even though I have keyword searches set up. Additionally, I dislike how difficult it is to get additional stations picked up. One of the stations I frequently need to monitor isn't available on TVEyes which can be frustrating

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We often provide reports to clients with "proof of airing" that's as simple as a link to TVEyes that shows it aired. We don't always need to send full information with viewership, exact timing, etc. so it's helpful to be able to send as detailed or not of a report

 ### 29. Effortless Monitoring with Room for Quality Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mandy M.

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like that TVEyes allows you to edit and store clips directly within the platform, making it easy for me to find clips to share with the team later as needed. It also allows me to have a tangible link to track in a spreadsheet along with other digital and print mentions, which is really convenient. The initial setup was very easy and it's very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I wish the quality of some clips were better. Because TVEyes is capturing so much content, I understand that it can't have 100% high definition, but I have seen services where the quality is a little bit more shareable afterwards.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to monitor brand mentions across broadcast channels in the U.S., and it lets me edit and store clips directly within the platform, making it easy to share with my team.

 ### 30. Fast Media Clipping but Needs UX Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like TVEyes for its quick ability to pull media hits from local outlets across the country. The speed of it is definitely something I appreciate. It's the only manageable way we can get and promote those hits. The initial setup was also pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I want Fox News, and the user experience isn't good. It needs a cleaner, simpler, more basic clipping experience.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes for clipping reporters' national and local media hits. Its quick pulling ability is essential, being the only manageable way to get and promote those hits effectively.

 ### 31. Affordable, Detailed Global Media Monitoring With Best-in-Class Reports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Koenis T. | Senior Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I love that they offer an affordable subscription for monitoring press mentions worldwide; few platforms provide the same level of detail in media tracking. The reports are undoubtedly among the best for staying on top of critical mentions. We also really appreciate the analysis and the clear breakdown by category.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

TVEyes offers excellent features, a very comprehensive range of media monitoring channels, and the ability to find and update contact information for journalists and reporters.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a highly comprehensive media monitoring service and an excellent tool for reporting on grants and ensuring accountability to stakeholders. We mainly use it to monitor the reach, sentiment, and overall impact of our communication campaigns in a straightforward way.

 ### 32. Effortless Real-Time Monitoring for PR Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Breanna S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I love TVEyes for its real-time monitoring and the ability to customize what the platform is searching for and where to search for it. It's very user-friendly and easy to navigate, which makes my workflow more seamless. It saves me time by not having to manually search for coverage, as I can easily set up an alert and have it emailed to me. TVEyes also catches placements that Google can sometimes miss, which is a huge time saver. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Just figuring out where everything is. Trial and error of setting up terms that are specific enough.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to monitor client coverage, saving me time by setting up alerts instead of manual searches. It offers real-time monitoring and customization, catching placements Google might miss and making my workflow seamless.

 ### 33. Near Real-Time Media Monitoring with Fast, Reliable Search and Custom Press Reports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Irvin G. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like that it gathers information from a wide range of sources—print media, the Internet, radio and television, and social media—with virtually no delay. Search feels reliable, the filters work well, and results are delivered quickly.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

My experience has been truly amazing. It’s especially useful for tracking media mentions across multiple formats in near real time. On top of that, the ability to prepare and generate customized press reports has been extremely helpful.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s used primarily by our PR team, although our advertising and social media team also needs it from time to time. It serves as the main tool across the agency for monitoring, sharing, and downloading our clients’ television coverage.

 ### 34. Helpful Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like the ability to access footage relatively quickly upon airing. The turnaround time allows us to be prompt.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

That I am limited to broadcast. There is a great need to access cable and streaming and that would be an incredibly useful addition to services offered.
Additionally, the ability to go back only a short period of time is limiting. I would like to be able to access things for at least 3-4 months historiclly.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to view and cut competitor TV commercials + view and cut media stories.

 ### 35. Intuitive, Real-Time PR Insights That Exceed Expectations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janco W. | Director of Brand Partnerships, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

This platform is designed for public relations and communications teams, and it leverages real-time news, social media, and web data to deliver relevant and timely information. I appreciate its intuitive interface, I adapted quickly and easily found relevant articles.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Its performance has been incredible and has exceeded all my expectations. It’s been especially valuable for public relations professionals and for businesses that want to make more data-driven decisions.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It adds real value by providing useful information that other public relations tools and programs don’t offer. It also lets us continuously monitor news sources and spot timely topics that align with our client’s or brand’s message, which helps us stay current and focused.

 ### 36. Effortless Competitor Tracking, Needs More Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oriya S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like how intuitive the TVEyes app is, as it allows me to scroll through easily and manage what I'm seeing. It helps me navigate effortlessly, which makes me more productive. It's easier for me because I can check things myself instead of having to rely on my providers.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The reporting is something I wish could be improved. I would like to receive some sort of email notifications or integration with my Slack. Also, some of my competitors show up on the live feed but not when I search for them by word.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to track my competitors on TV, ensuring my ads are airing, and get creative ideas. It makes me more productive by easily navigating content, allowing me to check independently rather than relying on my providers.

 ### 37. Powerful Media Mention Tracking Beyond Google Alerts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynn G. | Director of Communications and Community Engagement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The opportunity to track our mentions in Television, Podcast, Radio, and more is very helpful. Knowing there's more media mentions beyond what Google Alerts finds is helpful, and keeps us in tune to media and community.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

There are three or four steps to get into the clip viewer to where I can save a specific clip. And sometimes it's a little clunky finding previous mentions.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can't capture all of the media mentions - i.e. mentions on the various newscasts. TVEyes allows me to capture and catalog all of these media mentions.

 ### 38. Early Reputation Monitoring with Flexible, Scalable Search Panels

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bashir P. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like that it allows us to monitor potential reputation issues and spot them early. I also appreciate being able to create a large number of search panels that operate simultaneously, which helps us achieve broad media coverage.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

It gave us greater flexibility and control over how we set everything up. Managing the configuration of panels and searches is also easier, and the support we received throughout the setup process was excellent.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find TVEyes’ ability to identify and compile news about our institution into easy-to-manage, searchable lists very useful. The analysis section also helps us present the data visually and clearly, which makes it much easier to understand.

 ### 39. High-Quality Ad Clipping with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew S. | Competitive Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2022

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like TVEyes for the high-quality MP4 files it provides, which we are able to download and send via emails. Also, the initial setup was super easy, making it convenient to start using.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The ability to scan stations is a little hard for me to use, and the thumbnails make it challenging to scan stations for ads.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes for clipping TV ads and sharing ad content with clients. It provides high-quality MP4 files that we can download and send via emails.

 ### 40. Excellent Broadcast Monitoring with Easy Video Access Across Markets

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Otto B. | Senior PR Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes is an excellent monitoring platform. I especially like that it lets us access and download videos fairly easily, no matter the market or the broadcaster they come from. We’re able to search for broadcast content across both local and international sources.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

TVEyes offers pricing and easier access competed to other platforms available on the market. I have nothing negative to say, it provides us with a great deal of consistency in what we monitor and report.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideal for organizations that require detailed monitoring of television, radio, and podcasts. Thanks to this platform, we can share information in real time and satisfy our clients by converting spoken content into searchable text.

 ### 41. Essential for Real-Time News Monitoring with Slight UX Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa C. | Senior Consultant, Energy & Natural Resources, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like the latest update for TVEyes. The new app is a bit more modern and user-friendly, which I appreciate. It also has more tools and is easier to navigate, making it a better experience overall. The initial setup was very easy and intuitive, which was a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I wish it was a little bit more intuitive to use. I wish there were things like the downloadable link, which is basically what I use the most, was easier to find. It has become a little bit harder to find that specific tool in the new update.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes every day for real-time news monitoring for clients and finding specific clips unavailable online in traditional platforms like YouTube or news outlets.

 ### 42. wildly useful tool in public relations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Support staff is helpful when needing assistance with a query or how to utilize a feature. Transcripts are as good as they can be. Easy to use and I use it weekly if not daily. I like the ability in Power Search to sort the list by state.
I like being able to clip and permanently save links for clients.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

With the rise in streaming channels related to broadcast channels, the inability to capture that content is a gap. I'm confident TVEyes is working to catch up and integrate those capabilities though.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me the ability to pull clips from broadcast, including ads. Capturing broadcast content that otherwise would be fleeting is incredibly valuable to our clients that prioritize reporting out.

 ### 43. MMS Impresses, Insights Disappoints

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SMP C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I love the old MMS platform on TVEyes. It's absolutely perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing. The MMS platform is the best service I've ever used. The price and ease of access with TVEyes makes it incredibly appealing. Also, the initial setup was super easy with no problems in any way.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I don't like the new Insights feature. It feels like garbage compared to the old MMS, which was absolutely perfect. It's going to be a problem if TVEyes only uses Insights. Switching to Insights only would be worse than using Grabien.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes allows us to grab competitor and our own ads. Its MMS provides the best service I've ever used, with great price and ease of access.

 ### 44. Powerful, Intuitive Media Monitoring with Fast, Insightful Analysis

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I’m extremely grateful for TVEyes’ customer service. I truly have nothing negative to say—they’ve struck the perfect balance between an intuitive user interface and user experience, extensive media coverage, and the speed at which I’m able to obtain information.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily, it helps us quickly understand trends and intentions, so we can act with greater confidence. I can also set up searches right away and start getting results immediately.

 ### 45. Instant Access to Clips for Entertainment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I love that TVEyes is very user-friendly and allows me to quickly download clips within seconds of a segment airing on TV or radio. It's incredibly easy to edit the clips and get them just the way I want. Running a small business, it's impressive to have quick access to high-quality clips, which makes it easy to impress clients. We switched from a different service, and TVEyes is really incredible; we love it and recommend it to others. I also found the initial setup to be simple.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I've found it difficult to use on a phone and would like to have additional ways to share clips rapidly with clients. I would love to see some improvements in the type of reports.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to rapidly locate TV and radio clips on national and local broadcasts. It's user-friendly, lets me download clips quickly, and edit them easily. This helps me impress clients by accessing high-quality clips swiftly.

 ### 46. Efficient Search, Clunky Download

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I find TVEyes really useful for finding and clipping client TV interviews. What stands out most for me is the 'search specifics' feature. It makes it easy to find interviews because I can filter by day, network, time, etc., even if their name doesn't pop up. This functionality simplifies tracking down specific content, which is crucial for my needs.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I find the save/download process clunky. It's frustrating to have to wait for it and then download. I would like to be able to download directly from the clip editing screen. Only one of our users' accounts got set up fully. We were recently switched to Insight and added a user, but our saved terms only got migrated to one user in Insight.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes for finding and clipping client TV interviews. It solves the problem of needing recordings of client TV appearances. The search specifics make it easy to find interviews by filtering day, network, and time.

TVEyes helps with reporting PR results to stakeholders. It makes my reports more interesting, as I can provide the actual clips and the viewership data.

 ### 48. Boosts PR Monitoring, Needs Clipping Refinement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karsten T. | AAE, Brand, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I love the ability of TVEyes to distinguish what's being said in a clip and pull together all the available options. I use the Power Search and transcription a lot because it's a strong search engine that enhances the way I find local broadcasts by producing a wide range of results. The initial setup of TVEyes was very simple and easy.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Often, it takes a long time to clip. Sometimes clips autoplay rather than where they were clipped. Better clipping specifics and links retaining clips.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes for public relations monitoring and tracking broadcast hits. It helps my team find local broadcast hits for PR announcements, clip these hits, and compile them to send to clients.

TV Eyes is still catching great moments for us and we've really stepped up our live-tv usage.
