## TVEyes Reviews
 ### 1. Accurate Transcripts and Easy News Monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like how TVEyes now shows more accurate transcripts of the dialogue, which allows me to produce transcripts or readouts of new clips related to my department at a faster pace. Also, setting up my account was straightforward.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I would like the system to be easier to go back and select a specific time from that station/channel.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to access news clips I wouldn't find otherwise and get alerted to used clips I'm unaware of. It also shows more accurate transcripts, enabling faster production of transcripts or readouts of news clips related to my department.

 ### 2. Streamlined News Monitoring Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel H. | Policy Apprentice, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2021

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like how expansive TVEyes is. I really appreciate the transcription service it has built into it. It's improved a lot over the past five years that I've been using it. It's now far more intuitive and saves me time. The setup was straightforward and easy.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to monitor news, access TV and radio broadcast clips, summarise and transcribe relevant news clippings, making it a big time-saver for my team. Its transcription service has improved over the years, becoming more intuitive and saving me even more time that I would have spent reviewing the text.

 ### 3. Fresh UI and Great Training Clips, But Delays in Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob T. | Communications Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The updated UI is a very welcome refresh from the original! And just in general love being able to find clips of our staff and members being interviewed for training purposes.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Biggest downsides are that clips aren't available as quickly in the moment (usually delayed by a bit to find a "live" clip) and that we can't pull things further back in time.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to find video and radio clips is the biggest benefit. As a national nonprofit, tracking each and every local station media hit would be impossible without a service like TVEyes.

 ### 4. Effortless Media Monitoring and Sharing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mason R.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I really appreciate how TVEyes is super supportive, always ready to help whenever we have a question or need to figure something out. The program is very easy to use and intuitive, which I really like. The new software feels like a huge upgrade and is definitely worth the money with the great features we use daily. The media monitoring feature is particularly valuable as it automatically notifies us when our clients are mentioned in the news, allowing us to find their news clips quickly and share them even faster.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes the captions are wrong, which makes it difficult to find clips.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TVEyes to help clients see their performance, discuss improvements, and quickly share content. It monitors media, notifying us of client mentions for rapid clip sharing, enhancing our efficiency.

 ### 5. Efficient Media Tracking, Needs Timely Alerts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I really like that TVEyes notifies me when we've been mentioned in media, saving me a ton of time. It populates a list of our media mentions and emails it to me so I can easily see all the times we've been mentioned. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes the alerts don't come through in a timely manner. And sometimes there are duplicates.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes notifies me of media mentions, saving time by avoiding channel surfing and ensuring we don't miss any mentions. It generates a comprehensive list and emails it to me.

 ### 6. Great Insight Beyond other Apps

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

I wish that it was more of a "one-stop-shop" and that I could get digital metrics as well.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing broadcast coverage with external clients

 ### 15. Effective Media Monitoring with Minor Cost and Search Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like that TVEyes is easy to use; you just set up the keywords to monitor and it tracks in real-time while also allowing retroactive search. It fills a crucial gap for us where digital and traditional search tools might not have access to radio and TV broadcasts. The initial setup of TVEyes was easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

TVEyes can be costly depending on how many clients you are searching for and/or the size of your agency. The search setup also requires some trial and error depending on the terms you are searching for, i.e., it may return searches/clips that are not what you are looking for.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes allows us to monitor when our clients are mentioned in broadcast media. It's easy to use with real-time tracking and retroactive search, filling the gap where digital searches can't access radio/TV broadcasts.

 ### 16. Easy Access to What Aired on Local Stations, Anytime

I like the ability to go back and see what actually aired at a specific date and time on a local station

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes programming is "not available" and sometimes the transcripts don't show up. Also, sometimes I need to look back a little further and I'm not able to.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work with 200+ local TV stations and this helps me keep more accurate records

 ### 17. TVEyes is a great tool for PR pros!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike N. | Senior Communications Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The keyword searches are great and help us keep track of TV coverage that we are not able to track through traditional media monitoring services. There's also a power search option if you are looking for a specific clip that is not picked up through the keyword searches, which are based on transcripts.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes keywords are missed in the reports due to incorrect transcripts and the power search can be challenging to navigate.

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

If you're regularly reporting media mentions of your organization/business then TV Eyes is a must have. Make sure you have their customer service team walk you through a training, as it can take a little while to get the hang of using their platform. But, it's really great.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The largest problem we are solving is our ability to pick up broadcast clips that were not posted online by the media outlet. You can also edit and share the clips directly, as TV Eyes provides a play back link.

 ### 18. Easy to navigate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pauline F. | Account Supervisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes is the go-to media monitoring platform at our global agency - any time we have a broadcast placement to watch, clip, download and share with clients, we always turn to TVEyes as it offers features no other softwares have. Me and my colleagues really enjoy how easy it is to navigate, how simple it is to find a specific media hit from a long broadcast show, and how quick it is to download the clip to then share with clients.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

One limitation of TVEyes is the download quality - sometimes even at the highest download option, it still can come out blurry when sharing externally.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes helps my colleagues and our clients easily find broadcast media clips to be shared - in essence, that is the main goal of our job - and TVEyes is a key player in making sure my duty on the job and to the client is fulfilled.

 ### 19. Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

What I like most is that it is user friendly, and easy to search. Customer support has been efficient if needed.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

not everything with El Paso Community College or EPCC pops up, especially in the spanish language. It will take me, if I know something aired, looking for it directly. Also local radio channels did not pick up EPCC in TVeyes but hopefully that changes soon. Yes still does not include several radio stations.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us to gauge the local media market and how we are discussed and portrayed in the media.

 ### 20. Convenient, Diverse Channels with Room for Editing Improvement

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The editing of the clips and clipping the in and the out of the clip is difficult.

I use TVEyes to pull clips from TV shows worldwide for promotional purposes and case studies. It provides convenience and a diverse range of channels, making it easier to gather case studies from various clients.

 ### 21. Clean UI

 ### 22. PR Manager

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

That i can pull broadcast clips for clients

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

You can't pull streaming clips, which as this becomes more popular, we will need a way to do that.
the new website can be tricky to navigate. When i click a clip, i think you should be able to edit it from there, instead of clicking into another new page. also the tabs on the left side should be named so i know what i'm clicking

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can pull broadcast or radio clips that might not be online

 ### 23. Unleashed my Productivity as a Media Buyer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan H. | Media Buyer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes has been the only tool we've been able to use to verify our media buys are being fulfilled, and our ads are being aired. It has saved us from many embarrassing moments with clients by helping us to catch unfulfilled ad schedules before our clients do.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Though the software is in a league of its own for media buy monitoring, I believe some improvements could be made to the interface to allow for quicker and smoother browsing of television programming.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes solves the problem of the lack of a rewind, record, or quick lookup feature with linear and broadcast television programming. It also allows us to look up programming and track our ads that air in markets and on stations that are not available in our area, but whose airing is crucial for the proper service of our political clients.

 ### 24. User-Friendly and Captures a Variety of Broadcast Media Mentions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It’s user-friendly and captures most, if not all, of the mentions you request.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I wish it were able to capture more radio interviews, talk radio to be specific

I get to monitor what is being said about our organization in broadcast media as well as competitors and other needs

 ### 25. All Your Coverage in One Place—Easy to Track and Never Miss Mentions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Sometimes hard to see what you've already recorded or seen when looking at a long list of the same syndicated coverage

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meltwater sometimes misses coverage so I know when I use TVEyes I'll grab everything

 ### 26. Efficient Ad Verification with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ami B. | Traffic Compliance Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I find TVEyes incredibly easy to set up, requiring just a login to start using it without any challenges. I appreciate how it displays when and where our spots are airing, ensuring contract fulfillment and allowing me to verify station claims effectively. The search function is invaluable, enabling me to check specific days and times seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I find the increment between clips, set at ten seconds, to be somewhat inefficient. If the clips were longer, around fifteen to twenty seconds, it would reduce the number of clips I need to review and make the process less cumbersome.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes ensures our traffic spots run on specific stations, confirming contract fulfillment. It helps identify if spots aired or not, allowing us to resolve discrepancies. The search function aids in verifying airing times efficiently.

finding specific interviews for smaller stations and outlets that can get buried in regular Google SEO

Helping us understand our reach throughout different markets and how we are presented domestically and internationally

 ### 29. Effortless to Use and Impressively Accurate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph W. | Vice President, public relations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It is so incredibly easy to use! Its accuracy in picking up my client mentions on TV is much better than any other service I've used.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Nothing. I love how it has an incredibly easy interface, so much so that we didn't even need an onboarding call. It was that easy.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When a client is on TV and a producer/reporter is too busy or forgets to send a clip, I can easily go on TVeves and it is there rather quickly.

 ### 30. Great Clip Downloads, but the UI Still Needs Smoother/More Clear Usability

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like the ability to download clips from broadcast channels.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The user interface received a much-needed facelift, but still provides issues with ease of use.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to download broadcast clips and track each mention of clients.

 ### 31. Straightforward Interface for Quickly Finding and Sharing Media Clips

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Finding media clips to send to clients and straight-forward interface

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The search engine and clipping options can be very challenging to use. A lot of the time, clips don't come up on the power search. The clipping option does not let me get all of the clip that I want.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes is helping me share media clips with clients which helps them see their coverage we got for them and for our records.

 ### 32. the most effective way to view clips

 ### 33. TVEyes changes the game for public relations!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes makes clipping segments for our clients easier than ever!

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

There's really nothing I didslike about TVEyes. It's just so useful!

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps keep all of our media monitoring in one place!

 ### 34. TV Eyes does the job, though it could use an updated interface.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Political Organization | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes stands out for its powerful search capabilities and comprehensive coverage of broadcast TV, radio, podcasts, and online video - particularly local news, where other similar services won't catch the breadth of the coverage (it covers all major media markets 24 hours a day). The he Power Search feature allows me to quickly pinpoint brand mentions, trends, or specific events across a massive archive of content, with filters that make it easy to clip, save, and download videos or audio. The daily alerts notify me via email the moment something relevant airs, saving hours of manual scanning. The platform's APIs and reporting tools turn raw data into actionable intelligence, like ad equivalency metrics and reach analytics, which have been invaluable for our marketing team. It's user-friendly even for non-tech-savvy users, and the customer support is responsive and helpful in sourcing niche media. I highly recommend TVEyes to any PR, communications, or marketing professional who needs to track earned media in broadcast and audio spaces. It's especially useful for global or regional monitoring where online searches fall short. Start with a trial to see how it fits your workflow—you won't be disappointed.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

it definitely could use an update/makeover to its interface, which is very antiquated and outdated. It sometimes gives errors and doesn't always make the user feel confident with its not-exactly-intuitive design. I also wish there was a function to export in 1080p.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes solves the challenge of monitoring hard-to-find broadcast and podcast mentions that aren't easily searchable on the web. Before, we'd miss local TV clips or radio segments, leading to incomplete media analysis. Now, we get real-time access to these, enabling faster decision-making, better crisis management, and more accurate reporting on campaign impact. It's boosted our team's efficiency and given us a competitive edge in understanding public perception through conversational intelligence.

 ### 35. Tv Eyes Gives Me Broadcast Vibes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TV Eyes has consistently proven to be an invaluable tool for discovering media coverage and tracking broadcast hits. Whether you're diving into the latest trends or searching for specific mentions, this resource makes it easier and more exciting to stay connected with the buzz around your brand!

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

One thing I would love to improve about TV Eyes is the interface. An update to how we save clips and browse folders would make the experience even better. It would be great to have a more intuitive layout that streamlines the process of organizing and accessing our content. This could enhance productivity and make the tool even more user-friendly.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TV Eyes is effectively solving my problem of tracking and monitoring media coverage. It provides an efficient way to keep tabs on what's being said about my brand across various outlets. The ability to easily search for specific mentions and trends has made it a go-to resource for staying informed and responsive in a rapidly changing media landscape. Overall, it's a valuable tool that helps me stay on top of my media presence.

 ### 36. TVEyes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

How easy it is to view and save clips and search for segments

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes it's hard to skip around in footage

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding broadcast clips and saving them

 ### 37. Good for Broadcast Monitoring, Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandra S.

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I find the ability to receive emails of broadcast segments that have been published extremely beneficial for staying updated on media coverage relevant to my organization. The clip builder is another aspect I appreciate; it's very easy to build a clip, email it to myself, and store it in my folders efficiently.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I don't see TVEyes as the most user-friendly platform. I wish it were more simplified as currently, you have to click a lot of things to get where you need to go. The search process for clips can be cumbersome, especially if broadcasters pronounce our name differently, which means the clips might not be captured accurately, and it takes much more time to find them manually. If the website was more intuitive and visually appealing, I would be more inclined to purchase TVEyes again. I would like a search engine within the platform that makes it easier to locate clips without utilizing too many toggles. Additionally, improvements could include making the buttons bigger and more visually appealing to simplify navigating and locating clips.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the product to monitor broadcast press clippings, saving time from manually checking each media outlet. It streamlines receiving broadcast segment emails and simplifies clip building, although pronunciation variations and language translation issues can complicate searches.

 ### 38. Easy Onboarding and Improved Usability, But Duplicate Search Results Need Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lexi D. | PR & Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like that setup/onboarding was relatively easy and the newer iteration of the software is much easier to use.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I find there are lots of duplicate hits for my search terms. It would be better if the software could analyze those results and remove all the duplicates so I don't have to check everything multiple times.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring media mentions across a broad landscape of broadcasters

 ### 39. TV Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Speed in which live TV is captured and available.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I dislike that I can only backtrack so far. There are times I need to search further back then the system will let me and that is frusterating.
Also wish I could capture more cable channels.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Competitive tracking.

 ### 40. Our teams love TVEyes!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holly R. | Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes is a reliable and easy way to pull broadcast clients for our clients. We appreciate that we are able to search throughout the US and download clips for our tracking.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sadly some outlets are not available on TVEyes (i.e. Fox Business). I also wish their was a "download all button" to automatically download all the clips saved into the report. Sometimes it can also take quite a while to crop clips, although I'm happy there is the option to do so.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access to broadcast clips, their transcripts and viewership. Also the ability to crop broadcast clips to specific timeframes.

 ### 41. Key to campaigns

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanya R. | Senior Director of Media Buying and Client Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TV Eyes helps our company keep track of ensuring stations are running correct traffic for our clients, while also helping us ensure we know what other clients are doing. It is key to our company!

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

We wish it would expand to cable systems as well!

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

It is worth the investment for media tracking.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us double check traffic departments.

 ### 42. Great for Capturing Clips, But Recent Updates Cause Confusion

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Like the number of TV outlets you capture.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The latest update was a bit confusing and it is harder to clip. I also notice there are segments that capture our keywords on the transcript, but it's not spoken at all in the clip and is focused on something else entirely. There's also been a few instances where none of the transcript was captured and we had to go in and try and find it on our own.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding clips and condensing them into a format that's easy for our clients to follow.

 ### 43. Instant Access to Clips Saves Time and Boosts Efficiency

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Having immediate access to all the video mentions in one spot to clip and trim for additional use is very helpful and a time saver

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The user interface isn't very seamless. There aren't enough labels or quick tips for new users. It would be better if there were more customization options when building reports (i.e., a quarterly review analyzing month to month)

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes gives us access to all the times our brand is mentioned across media platforms in one spot. We no longer have to spend time pulling that info ourselves.

 ### 44. Quick Alerts and Responsive Support, but Coverage and Media Metrics Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

QUICK ALERTS, KEY WORD SEARCHES, QUICK CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSE

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

LACK OF PODCAST NUMBERS, SOME STATIONS AREN'T LISTED, INACCURATE NUMBERS, NOT HIGH QUALITY VIDEO FEED

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MONETARY VALUE FOR OUR SPONSORS, MEDIA VALUE, ROUGH IDEA OF TV SHOW NUMBERS, MENTIONS

 ### 45. Instant Media Coverage Insights, But UI Could Be More Intuitive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It's great to be able to get an immediate look into any coverage on TV/radio, in whatever market(s) that are relevant on a given day.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The user interface, though SO much better with Insight, could still be made a little more dummy-proof.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us, first and foremost, know if or how we're being covered on stations across the country. But more importantly, it helps us monitor and review the coverage that we're proactively placing.

 ### 46. Rochester Red Wings use of TVEyes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew T. | Manager, Communications and Baseball Information, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

That we get emails sent to us with updated list of media coverage and can change the times of the emails as well.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

That we can not take clips straight from the dashboard and send them as links for people to view.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes is helping our organization see all of the media coverage we are getting without having to try and pull the video/audio ourselves. It is saving hours of work for our communications team.

 ### 47. TVEyes has worked well for our team workflow.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2021

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I really appreciate how easy it is to edit our company’s video content. There have been times when a school district supervisor has requested a copy of a news segment within an hour of it airing on TV. With TVEyes, I can quickly log in, run a PowerSearch, and share the video right away. This saves me a lot of time because I don’t have to wait for the reporter or broadcast team to upload the story to their website or social media. I use this several times a week, depending on if we have pitched any stories to the media. I have always been able to get answers to my customer support with my email forwarded to the correct person. I have integrated TV Eyes with our current Google Drive system. I just wish we could send files from TVEyes to Google Drive directly. So far, the ease of implementation has been easy to share with our current team members.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I recommend providing a monthly report of all the media mentions for the month, as well as how much airtime in minutes and seconds, and what airtime would have cost if we had purchased advertising with the news station. Also, I do not like that you can not edit two clips together in the editing suite. Sometimes they tease the story before the commercial break, and it would be nice to add that to the overall clip I save and share with our School Board. I would also like the Spanish station's Match Term to be more accurate. We get a lot of media coverage from our Spanish media partner and I usually have to search manually through their show to find our content. It would also be great if there was a way to be able to save the files directly to my Google Drive. Currently we have to request a downloadable file and then download it to our computer and then transfer it to our Google Drive.

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

I would say that TVEyes is easy to use. It has shaved a lot of time when gathering media coverage for my organization.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes eliminates the need to wait and hope that reporters or broadcast teams upload the specific stories we’re featured in. Since TV stations don’t post every segment, it was important for our school district to have a reliable service that archives our coverage and makes it easy to share with our board and stakeholders. Thanks to TVEyes, I’ve been able to provide timely content and have received positive feedback from my supervisors as a result.

 ### 48. TVEyes - AFSCME Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I am brand new to Insight, so take the review with a grain of salt, but I appreciate how much easier the platform is to navigate and how great it looks! It's always easy to capture footage from past events we are featured in and I am excited to use the Podcast and YouTube search tools. Not to mention Alex / the support team is very responsive and great to work with.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sadly I don't love not being able to pull clips from FOX but I understand why!

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to quickly and effectively monitor coverage for our organization and pull clips for social media and recap use.

 ### 49. Helpful product, lacking features

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Safety | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I am grateful there is a product that easily pulls each broadcast media mention of our Agency. It is extremely useful and is a great way to show the value of the work done to promote our Agency's work.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I cannot set up timing for the results other than 8 a.m. - if there is a way, I haven't found it. I would like reports sent at separate times for separate results, but the only functionality allowed is sending all the reports at the exact same time. I also cannot export media mentions into an Excel spreadsheet for easy review and distribution to my Command staff.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I am the sole public relations and social media manager for the Agency, I cannot watch every news station all day each day to catch our coverage. This helps catch coverage of our Agency and allow me to log it or ask for corrections.

 ### 50. Extremely helpful metric support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

For the most part, TVEyes is super easy to use. It is user-friendly and accurate. I find that the more detailed you can get in a search, the better the results. I love the ease in pulling and sharing clips and all of the data available. It has been a game changer when proving the importance of PR for clients. The customer support has been incredible any time I need someone to help with a project or clip. I use it almost every day to monitor the media.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes TVEyes doesn't pick up on key words, like client names so it helps to be more generic. Sometimes I have to search by the time of day instead of the words in the story. I also wish that there were more radio options, sometimes we get stories on regular radio and we can't get that through TVEyes. Also wish there were a feature around trending topics, like mental health - who is saying what.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's so easy to get access to the clips, especially when the stations don't post a public link. If you get mentioned in passing it is super helpful to get. I also use it to keep an eye on bigger media trending pieces, like city news, etc. We also heavily rely on it for metrics and sharing the impact and reach of tv/radio clips for clients.
