Turtl’s collaborative features are a huge plus. It allows our team to work together seamlessly on documents, making edits and updates in real-time without any confusion.

I wish Turtl integrated better with other tools we use. The lack of seamless integration with our existing software stack sometimes hampers our workflow.

**What do you like best about Turtl?**

I was a user of Turtl at my previous company, and my team looked into and acquired it based on my recommendation. New features had been added to the platform that make all the difference. Turtl is a fantastic ebook creator, and it makes the most engaging documents out there, but the personalisation engine is in a league of its own. We are able to create custom content at scale, easily, and with the click of a button. Our customers are noticing and asking for more Turtl docs, rather than the PDFs they are used to.

Turtl is adding amazing new features this year which make it even more valuable to us as an organisation.

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

Lack of URL customisation for personalised docs. Personalisation is an amazing solution, but it can be a little inflexible (it would be amazing to be able to edit personalised docs after they are created - for example reordering pages or moving images or text).

**What problems is Turtl solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building customised engaging content, personalised for specific customers. Scalability and efficiency.
Customised content at scale - resulting in huge time savings across the team.

**What do you like best about Turtl?**

Turtl makes it easy to use templates / WYSIWYG to create cleanly formatted eBooks and interactive web content for our team to share targeted messages. We can use the same template to swap content sections and images for specific audiences while ensuring cohesive brand. Since we manage all assets from Turtl, we don't need to worry about outdated content or multiple revisions being stored in various places or being pushed to customers. It's also great to be able to integrate our web forms directly into the content itself without redirecting, which increases our conversions.

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

It's a bit hard to get started creating a new template and defining which design modules to incorporate and how these will present on each page. But once this is defined, templates are a powerful tool for future content.

**What problems is Turtl solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Turtl is solving the content revision process and document tracking since we have one source of truth for each asset. We also rely on Turtl to ensure our content remains mobile friendly and can be easily viewed and navigated across a number of channels.

Turtl allows our team to create content that stands out against a plain pdf or newsletter. I especially appreciate the ability to customize and track how users engage with the content -- it helps us make more informed and efficient decisions for how to spend resources and time being able to track interactions with the ebooks both in the platform, and within Google Analytics.

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

There is a learning curve to using Turtl and figuring out the formatting, but nothing that is too hard to figure out (and the team is very helpful with any support issues).

Turtl provides data that would not exist in a normal pdf and helps us make tracking seamless. We can analyze so much more data through the platform, and understand what our users are engaging with.

Turtl is easy to use and new users can get up and running in a matter of no time. Turtl has helpful guides on different features and how to navigate Turtl correctly. The Turtl team is also always responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

The only qualm I have is Turtl has some limitations (with how the Surf and Immerse Pages can be configured and some personalization) that prevent me from being able to create larger and more comprehensive documents that can be further broken down to create a more thorough experience for website visitors.

Turtl team is responsive and receptive to feedback, the tool is still growing so I am looking forward to improvements that will be made in the future.

I think the best part of Turtl is the team that manages our account. They are extremely accommodating and responsive. They also take our feature requests seriously and have provided new updates that were directly related to what we asked for.

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

I think the actual function of the ebook takes a little bit to get used to, but I also hear a lot of positive feedback, so people do seem to enjoy it more than the ol' pdf.

**What problems is Turtl solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They solve two problems: engagement and tracking. For the Marketing Ops team, we're able to gain insights on our content that we weren't getting from pdfs. We're also able to provide more opportunities for conversion by inserting forms directly onto our digital ebooks.

Turtl not only helps our team create more appealing/user friendly eBooks, but has also provided us more insight into who and how users engage with our content in comparison to .pdfs. We can also send the Turtl event data directly into our Google Analytics property, making it easy to have a central source for our content data.

The UX can be tricky to get used to when building new eBook, but thankfully the Turtl support and design team are a great help with building templates and providing best practices.

Turtl is helping us understand exactly what content people are engaging with, for how long, and who those users are in comparison to .pdfs where tracking is extremely limited.

Turtl overall has a good user experience and is a much more interesting way to digest content than traditional assets. It's also great from a tracking standpoint for readers that come to ebooks and has a comprehensive analytics dashboard by asset.

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

Some of the analytics are defined differently from what we see in GA, for example, slightly different definitions of bounce rate in both platforms so may show up higher in Turtl. Just something to note when reviewing analytics.

More interactive customer experience and better insights into how people interact with ebooks, getting to see the pages they go to, forms they fill out and more.

**What do you like best about Turtl?**

Overall very simple to use, easy to produce a marketing piece that is ready to send to customers without the worry of hosting it somewhere or any of the other issues that comes with traditional pdf brochures.

Their support team are great and always on hand to help with any issues and are also great at suggesting different ways of designing things / using the features included.

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

The editor can be a bit glitchy with some elements not appearing and having to reload the browser to fix, and after a couple hours it can start to slow down. Maybe an advanced mode where more customisation over the overall theme would be helpful, rather than having to contact support to add new type styles / sizes ect.

**What problems is Turtl solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Turtl is providing a great solution to long form brochures that have a lot of information included that needs to be updated periodically, but also sometimes urgently, and this was not possible with traditional print brochures where once it had gone out there were no changes.

**What do you like best about Turtl?**

Turtl is 100% baked into our systems infrastructure and we've developed multiple use cases that can demonstrate ROI. As a recruitment business, we're able to seamlessly produce high-quality bid proposals, company brochures, whitepapers, informative content and candidate-facing material for our clients. Even though we've been a customer for 3 years, there's still so much more for us to explore in utilising the platform's potential! As well as Turtl's existing capability, what stands out is the support given by the customer success team. Unlike some other SaaS providers, catch-ups are useful and produce tangible benefits and insight. Any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently, while the development of the platform has really gathered pace in the last 12 months.

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

The price point may not make Turtl accessible to all SMEs but the platform is worth the investment so long as you think hard about how you will make it a strategically vital part of your content ecosystem.

**What problems is Turtl solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Turtl enables us to create high-quality content at scale and gather intelligent insights. We often receive admiring comments from customers and candidates about the look and feel of our content and we can tie back measurable outcomes to individual content pieces. At its heart, Turtl solves the problem of how to create great content, even if you're not particuarly design savvy. Its editing tools are accessible to all and largely intuitive. Meanwhile, the platform's integrations with other products (e.g - HubSpot) enable us to utilise intelligent tracking and gather valuable insights.

Can take content that would go out in a rather mundane emailed newsletter and make it flashy and interactive with Turtl.  Doesn't take much time and is relatively easy to use...and our reader engagement has increased quite a bit since using Turtl for our quarterly newsletter.  Love the ability to imbed videos, flyers, questions etc.

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

Not all that intuitive when first learning the tool.  Sometimes can be challenging to fit things the way you want on the page but with time and practice gets easier.

**What problems is Turtl solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company needed a tool that would allow users in different roles to create engaging ebooks with standardized company branding and look/feel.  This tool has allowed me (a non-marketing person) to put together flashy, engaging and interactive ebooks with minimal effort to gain readers' attention and drive new sales leads.

Not having the ability to review previous asset versions caused us to lose content and a need to recreate parts of the document. This needs to be improved.

We are able to include more multimedia assets in what would typically be not very interactive. Additionally, can track engagement and easily print if needed for clients who prefer this method.

The ability to track which content readers spend time on and what they engage with helps us understand the topics of interest. It encourages us to write our reports in a more reader-friendly way.

The style is limiting when laying out the text. Getting comfortable with how to best format the pages takes some getting used to, but it's not terrible.

It's a great tool for taking our long-form marketing content to the next level. If we upgraded to integrate the data with our CRM we'd be at an ideal place.

At first, it is tricky to use in terms of formatting, and when working with translations, you need to tweak a lot to fit copies and images of different length

The format factor ! It's dynamic (eg, videos, polls, quotes) and is always live so that you can make changes on the fly. It's a good alternative to ppts or pdfs.

It's great for non-designers. As for designers, there's a learning curve, but when you get over that, the results are remarkable. I'd love to see a library of all the design elements that we added, so we don't have to reupload them over and over again.

Make sure you go through their design training/tips. I'll come in handy!

It's a breath of fresh air from the traditional formats. The navigation approach is also very well thought out as it pushes the reader to read longer. It's been easy to make changes on the go !

It can take a bit of getting used to the editor but once you have used it a few times it becomes more intuitive, sometimes it can crash but even if that happens the work can usually be restored by the support team.

- Customer service: I have never worked with a company that has been able to provide such an excellent customer experience. The team are flexible, happy to help, reliable and genuinely want to help, and share such enthusiasm that it's inspiring.

- The features: the analytical side of Turtl is really useful. When presenting it to internal stakeholders and exposing them to the benefits of Turtl, everyone is always very impressed with the stats that can be pulled from it. Also from a user perspective, I love the feature and pinning tools, I think they allow you to have some fun with layout and make the immerse pages unique.

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

- I'd like to be able to layer/pin content on mobile view. At the moment, layout is flawless on desktop, but if I've put white text over a dark image, when converted to mobile view, you can't see the text

**What problems is Turtl solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Understanding of what our audience is interested in
- Standing out against competitors - when we submit a proposal, the feedback from a prospect is very positive 
- Resolving any brand inconsistency issues by having templates and built in branded theme

**What do you like best about Turtl?**

The thing that we like best about Turtl is that it promotes a different way of working and thinking. It has made us think far more creatively about our outputs, our end users and how our brand is perceived. We are striving to be seen as innovative and forward thinking rather than conventional and purely academic - and  Turtl helps us with this through the ability to create content that pushes boundaries. 

Also, personally, one of my favourite things about Turtl is how easy it is to use. Everything is common sense and where it should be and has made introducing the tool into OHE seamless. 

And we can't talk about the best features of Turtl without mentioning the team who are always so supportive and visionary and who really believe in the product. You really do have an amazing, Turtl'tastic team!!

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

The only niggle would be around navigation. It's really easy to skip into different sections without meaning to because the arrows are always clickable on the page - it would be helpful if they only became clickable when you hovered near the left or right of the page. 

It would also be a lot easier if you could do minor picture edits in Turtl (i.e. changing to black and white). This would save time - at the moment we find a picture we think will look good in the image library on Turtl, save onto the desktop, open it in picture editor, re-save it, re-upload it. And then if you decide that it doesn't work start the process all over again.

It would also be great to have a 'no column' option in Immerse so you have complete freedom re the sizing of your features / pictures.

**Recommendations to others considering Turtl:**

Do it - it will change the way you think about the content you produce, how it's consumed and enables you to gain incredible insights into the end user experience of your content.

**What problems is Turtl solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a solution that makes our content really stand out and increase the professional feel. Our outputs need to compete with large consultancies who have large teams of content producers (rather than our team of one) and with prestigious academic institutions. The visual emphasis and templates has allowed us to do both - we have had very good feedback on the what we have created.

Turtl will revolutionise the way we create content and the way it's consumed by our audience. The science and thinking behind the tool is incredible and the finished product looks great. Underpinned by powerful analytics (and web-based!), Turtl will become an essential tool in our kit. The customer service is another big plus - always on hand to help with questions, either via the Customer Success Manager or Live Chat.

**What do you dislike about Turtl?**

I think the theme set-up and modification process could be more flexible and less truncated. It can be hard getting to the final design spec. This has delayed our start to using the product properly. 

The tool is 'easy' to use once you get to grips but ideally it would be a little less 'fussy' so that we can open its use to relative design novices.

**Recommendations to others considering Turtl:**

Have a clear idea what you wish to achieve from the platform and how you your account to be set-up.

**What problems is Turtl solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are starting to bring our go-to-market proposition to life and explain to potential customers in the HR space how we can help them solve their most pressing people challenges. 

We are early on in this process so the benefits are not completely tangible as yet but we are happy with the level of interest we're receiving.

Difficult for non-Turtl user e.g. Compliance team to review and mark up with edits

Time-saving: use of live links saves the time previously spent repeatedly exporting/saving PDFs, resending docs for review
Up-to-date: ability to quickly make changes solves the issue of multiple copies of documents circulating or out of date copies of PDFs requiring updates to intranet, folders etc

Sometimes it can be a bit 'blocky' or 'fiddly' - it is more for mind mapping your ideas rather than creating linear documents. Some page structures can be too prohibitive i.e. the final page of a case study does not allow you to change the style or colour

From a marketing perspective, the analytics available are great and give us an in-depth view on readers that we never had before. The amount of data available and the different layout options. The functionality is very simple and its very user friendly.

The downside is perhaps sorting through the analytics and understanding the terminology. I needed help to do this. Evi was great in helping me to understand how to read and use the analytics.

We're using it as a through the buyers journey proposal tool, an agile post-event content creation tool and are currently looking into using it as an ABM content hub tool, as it is easy to maintain and personalise at scale.
